- It has LOTS of overstretched 3/4 sliders that feel forced and needless to use, while most of the sounds and music phrases are plain 1/2, especially the vocals: they r not forced and needless to use, if turn those extended sliders into 1/2 ones, still can't express long consecutive vocal melody. use 3/4 ones can do that better than 1/2 ones. and also it's not a rare example to set rhythms like this, u can find sets which exactly the same ones in lots of lots of ranked maps nowadays.

and so on. Note that it goes nearly for all extended sliders.
- A couple of patterns that are very uncomfortable and unnatural to play:
- 02:36:061 (1,2,3,4,5) - thou i can't find issue here, i still reversed slider 1
- 03:45:384 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - changed 8,9,10's order into 9,10,8 with better flow and phasis jump to 1 behind
Now about suggestions (Insane diff.)The rest of the set (Hard, Normal) is surprisingly good. Also note this mapset will be handled by BAT from now on, but you are encouraged to collect some mods first, given the fact that Insane requires.. uh, more attention. hmm, does 32 bats' mods already enough?
- Insane has very inconsistent spacing and spacing changes that don't look logical at all, except the parts with vocal, maybe. They probably follow the song or attempt to do so, but in such manner that the whole map consists of random and hardly predictable speedups and slowdowns. I'd even consider things like 04:27:547 (1) as spacing errors if they didn't have new combo. that's also a kind of pattern used in so much ranked maps nowadays, some kind of ds or sv or rhythm shifting noticed by nc
- It is suggested to use CS 4.5 and OD 6.5 on Insane to make a better spread; having Extra with CS lower than on Insane looks like Extra's CS was set up that way solely to make it more playable and to justify high SV and rapid jumps. changed
- You got at least one slider following vocals in an incorrect way: 01:19:946 (6) should be starting from the white tick before it. changed rhythm here into 2 notes
P.S. Regarding the source: it's better to use original (Japanese) spelling, as Melo suggested. changed, thou i got really surprised that ranked map's source can't be ranked

00:04:033 (2) - I wouldn't use multiple-reverse-sliders in a Normal, especially not in the easiest difficulty. The multiple repeats aren't visible early enough. Try to replace it by two 1/2-sliders and a circle, or simplify the rhythm by using an 1/1-reverse-slider (maybe with a red anchor in the middle, then it has almost the same effect as your current slider has.)
The same applies for the other slider that you used later on. yes i agree with u, checked all reversing sliders and fixed all these patterns (sry Desperate-kun i disapointted u again in lower diffs ;w;

the sliders ending on blue ticks in order to emphasize vocals or violin melodys are NOT. yeah, maybe that should be a note to emphasis the vocal beat at the end, thou idk why people can't accept it while others do it in their maps as well

01:25:114 (5) - This could be better as a 1/2 slider as you're passing over a stronger beat. i can agree with this, changed
01:26:331 (4) - ^ changed as well, and arranged 01:26:736 (1,2,3) - 's position to give a better ds setting with testing
02:11:736 (1,2) - I find this as a cool alternative when you want to create a hold feeling. various patterns maybe, people can select by themselves imo w
02:31:196 - 02:50:655 - This part is ridiculous, song isn't that dense on beats yet you have a lot of 1/4 stuff. just same ones as i mentioned

I don't think the rhythm has been altered. Apperantly, many players said the additive things make the song more expressive. The only thing confused me at first was the varied SV, which is not a problem anymore after several play counts.[ Madoka ] wrote:

"additive mapping" or just overmapping or "putting unnecessary 1/4 sliders everywhere, inconsistent DS for triples and 1/2 rhythms, and random doubles everywhere." so expressive, ok. the problem with this is that many of these notes aren't even a part of the song.. especially with all the 1/4 sliders, triples, and doubles in the last kiai. It sure is expressive i'll give you that, but not everyone gets the same idea of the rhythm that is presented in this map since most of the rhythm is MADE UP, not based on the song. I can't see the necessity of complaining such a lot here to upset the mapper and those people who love this map. When there's something make you uncomfortable, it would be perfect if you could give some specific suggestions on improving.

Not everyone gets the same idea -> someone likes the rhythm, if my interpretation is correct. Arguing that some people don't like the "made up" rhythm is not enough, in that it does not disprove the fact that other people may like the rhythm. What you have to show is that there exists some valid improvement that makes both parties of people appreciate the rhythm more, which you, through your impatient and rude "mod", failed to show.
"Follow the rhythm" is a vague statement which is always debatable. Unfortunately, the reality is that there are many ways to follow the "damn" rhythm for any single song and few mappers actually follow the rhythm note by note (the most simple examples are the added triples, which, unfortunately, is not a Hollow Wings invention neither). Many mods that tell the mapper to "follow the rhythm" are just an euphemism for "I would map the song this way but you didn't and I don't like the map so here is an convenient reason for you to listen to me and if you do not you suck because you break the rules".
I am not saying that all such mods are bad, good modders give such suggestions that improve the map in general and make all parties, including the mapper, those who love traditional note-by-note mapping and those who love creative mappings, happy. Bad modders exert their myopic beliefs upon the mapper, forcing the mapper to change towards something bad, pissing off people and never getting any improvement. Unfortunately, again, I feel that you belong to the latter group.

This is like saying we can't apply the rules in computing 1+1 into computing 2+2 since 1 and 2 are different numbers. Yes, music styles differ, but 3/4 sliders are used, in both songs, to emphasize prolonged notes (at least from my glance at both). A prolonged note is a prolonged note, no matter if its a violin one or an electronic one. If you are not satisfied, go to the ranked version of this song and 3/4 sliders is also used in this way.
