Was mir an der Diff aufgefallen ist, ist das sie ziemlich an die Easy von 2009/10 angelehnt ist. Das ist nicht unbedingt schlecht oder schlimm aber vielleicht aus der Mode heutzutage. Ich werde auf ein paar Stellen eingehen, die darunter fallen:
00:08:597 (1,2) - Nunja, was man hier ausbessern könnte ist ein Circle auf 00:08:597 zu setzen und (1,2) in einen Slider zu kombinieren. Ehrlich gesagt mag ich es so wie es ist.
00:15:619 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5) - Ich finde sowas ist allgemein sehr langweilig zu spielen - für Easy Verhältnisse - und auch recht straff gehalten. Du könntest zum Beispiel 00:16:895 (3,1) anstelle von zwei Circles einen Slider hinsetzen. Das füllt diese Lücke hier aus und leitet zum nächsten Teil über. Geändert!
00:25:831 (1,1,1,1) - Sowas ist auch zu schlicht gehalten imo. Circles zwischen den Slidern (00:27:746 - 00:30:300 - 00:32:853 - 00:35:406 - ) sollten Anfängern kein Problem darstellen. Was du - im Falle einer Änderung - machen solltest ist auch die Form/Struktur von dieser Zeit ein wenig aufpäppeln. Du hast so gesehen viermal den gleichen Slider, was einen zu schlechten Widerholungseffekt wiedergibt. Gerade weil es so schlicht ist gefällt es mir. Ich will die Easy so einfach wie möglich halten und mich von dem "harten" mapping entfernen.
00:56:470 (1,2,1,2) - Auch unpassend: So wie alle anderen Difficulty Level sollte auch der Easy Level ein konstanten Bau haben. Wenn du also auf einmal von langen 1/1 Breaks zu mehreren 1/1 Circles/Sliders rumswitchst, leidet die Konsistens darunter. Es spielt sich schlichtwegs nicht wirklich angenehm, weil man - jedenfalls kann ich das aus meiner Erfahrung sagen - es dem Mapper anmerkt, dass er versucht, irgendwas hier reinzufüllen, was aber nicht gerade gut ist. So etwas passt hier wunderbar rein: http://puu.sh/49FZ8.jpg Hm, da könntest du Recht haben. Ich schau mal was der nächste modder dazu sagt.

I'll mod the higher diffs (Hard and Insane) because I think they might need the most attention.
since this is supposed to be a really old style I won't really comment on the shapes of sliders or any nonsense like that, no, instead it's gonna be mainly about rhythm and how things play compared to the song.
Generally, I would suggest you to add 太鼓の達人 to the tags for easier searching, it doesn't really affect the map itself so yeah doneInsane
- 00:07:311 (10) - This slider contains two separate vocals but only really presses one which is kinda weird, I'd suggest making this two separate 1/2 sliders in order to follow more of the song. However this may be hard to do because you put it where 7 was, so if you moved that slightly over to the right you've got more room in order to do this with, perhaps if it were at 400/172 then it would be fine, then you move 8 and 9 accordingly, and so on. Maybe like this (AR put to 4 for better visualisation) Had already some discussions about this, but at the end the conclusion was to keep it. Sorry for not giving more detalis here. orz
- 00:19:598 (1) - Maybe if the notes after this were 1.41x, 1.61x and 1.81x (with 4 being on the same spot as it is now) instead of 1.61x, 1.81x and 2.01x then this could be a bit more gradual of a buildup like in the song, and would result in a slightly less sudden stop when 4 is reached. It's not a hard pattern currently, but a more gradual buildup would be nice since it doesn't really get THAT much more intense Hm... you might be right. But since to me it makes not much of a difference I would like to keep it. Maybe because I'm not that experienced in osu?
- 00:42:577 (2,3) - for more following of the song's intensity I would probably make 2 have more distance spacing from 1 and make 3 have less distance spacing from 2, perhaps they could both be 1.6x from each other like this maybe? If it were altered slightly from this then it could also make a nice triangle pattern (Also currently 3 -> 4 is 1.7x so yeah it works with the double clap if you really wanted that to stand out)
- 01:00:449 (2,3,4,5) - same as 00:19:598, really. I think I Stefan's mod we did some changes already.
- There's a distinct lack of the clap hitsound in the 2nd Kiai and claps are present in the Hard's 2nd Kiai, why not here too? D: Easy and Normal, sure, there's not really much you can hitsound, but with this there's a lack of flair which the clap gives imo, and there's plenty that you could do with it. True. I refinied it!

nothing really seemed to be startling tbh, especially because I don't wanna nitpick about stuff
- 00:14:811 (5,6,7,8) - Maybe this would be a bit odd since the first note of this is really supposed to be different compared to the next 3 but doesn't seem as if it is, only indication is its hitsound, so maybe if you got rid or 7 to follow the vocals or did something with 5 to make the new 3-stack and it stand out then that would be nice I see what you mean. But I used sometimes own patterns (probably due to taiko roots) and if possible I would like to keep it.
- 00:58:534 (2) - Maybe delete this note so that the vocals and the sudden movement with the vocals gives more impact Hm, I think in this way it is fine. I actually like your suggestion, but since I'm fine with both ways (due to vocal especially) I will just keep it in this way.
- 01:13:215 (7) - this seems really weird compared to the song, especially since most of the time you've been following the vocals or the main melody, if it were replaced with a circle and a 1/1 slider it would sound much nicer (and I would probably stack them, too, since that's a thing that could work with this imo), or you could do something like 01:23:109 (7,8) - where the note before suggested would be a 1/1 slider as well, and you know the rest. Right, changed!
- 01:40:981 (8) - How come there's no spinner here but there's a spinner in the Insane? you're mapping more in this section than you do in the Insane because of the lack of spinner ;; (Insane - 1 spinner, Hard - 1 slider, 1 circle) Changed.

As for the main reason I came here, the standard difficulties. The rhythm is clean as well as the aesthetics (considering the style), so I'll not mess around with this. I just felt the map a bit weird in the hitsounding side, and that's where I'm going to focus the most, if not all this post.

While this is a good idea, I still would like to kepe it as it is. Did it intentional since the part kinda feels calmer, so I wanted to simpliefy it.

eine kurze zwischen frage, hast du alle streams von hand gezeichnet? weil einige sehen extrem danach aus, da der abstand zwischen den circles nicht konstant ist sondern immer so zwischen +-0.1x variiert. dadurch sehen einige deiner streams ein wenig durcheinander aus, das ganze laesst sich folgendermassen etwas aufhuebschen:

wenn du denkst das es das wert ist, weil's ein klein wenig besser aussieht, wenn deine streams gleichmaessiges spacing haben, dann gibt's da sicher so einige stellen wo du das machen koenntest :p Whaaaaaat. Ich denke ich werde das machen. Zwar könnte ich nun sagen "boohoo, der charm von 2010 wäre weg", aber ich denke das ist humbuk. Haha
00:43:215 (8,9,10) - wuerde die spacen, weil's 1. kiai ist und man mehr oder weniger konstante bewegung erwartet und weil du so zum beispiel durch spacing die pitches dieser 3 sounds besser repraesentieren koenntest Den Gedankengang kann ich navollziehen, jedoch würde ich gerne weiterhin der Vocal "folgen" wollen, da ich das spacing nur deswegen aufgetragen habe. Ansonsten wäre es nicht existent gewesen. So auch bei den nachkommenden drei stacks. Hoffentlich ist das kein all zu großes Problem.
01:06:672 - bis 01:27:098 - sehe ich ernsthaft keinen grund fuer die normal-hitwhistles die du konsequent auf einen sound setzt der sich nicht einmal irgendwie nach einer whistle anhoert. ausserdem kann man das sampleset auch etwas einfacher wechseln: waehl das object aus (in diesem fall das sliderend http://puu.sh/iXGsI/bdf626fdf7.jpg ) und geh auf http://puu.sh/iXGtT/18f6181cb9.jpg sampleset modifiziert die hitnormal die gespielt wird (in z.b. die normal-hitnormal) und die additions regelt aus welchem sampleset die whistle, finish und claps genommen werden, so kannst du zum beispiel das drum-hitclap additions zusammen mit der normal-hitnormal verwenden, solltest du mal wieder standard mappen und komplexeres hitsounding planen, sparst du dir damit etwas zeit, extra samplesets und einige green lines :p Ah, jo. Das sample set habe ich nicht genutzt da es das damals einfach nicht gab. Haha - Ansonsten gucke ich mir das mit den hitsounds noch mal an. Jo.
01:26:779 - sollte zum beispiel normal sampleset sein imo, und 01:06:992 - 01:07:630 - hoeren sich besser mit normal sampleset an, da man es eigentlich super benutzen kann um die claps in der musik zu repraesentieren, wenn du additions setzt und keine additional hitsounds draufmachst, wird uebrigens nix passieren, ausser das du einige modder verwirrst
01:37:630 (4,5) - der jump ist etwas ploetzlich, grade weil es kurz nach einer break ist, der grund fuer den jump ist klar, aber ich wuerd ihn trotzdem vermeiden um spieler in dieser section nicht sofort am anfang zu frustrieren
01:40:502 (4,5,6,7,8) - ich find das spielt sich besser als nicht stack, aber das ist vlt nur meine meinung

tldr ich hab keine ahnung was genau du in einem grossteil dieser diff machst Ja, da kam die Taiko mentalität aus mir raus. Habe größtenteils eigene patterns genutzt und nur ab und an vocals gefolgt, z.b. in der kiai, weil ich es damals schwer fande das neue spieler sofort odd patterns aufgrund von vocals folgen müssen. Allein in Taiko ist das schon extrem schwer, und in osu habe ich vermieden bis auf einige stellen. Aber die bisherigen(oder damaligen) modder waren damit eigentlich zufrieden. Darum wege ich es so ab das ich das so auch beibehalten werde.

Die ganze map ist eigentlich so aufgebaut das ich teils improvisiere weil ich versuche beats un dvocals gleichermaßen zu folgen. Ausserdem habe ich dort Stellen frei gelassen damit die Folgende Sektion mehr impact hat.
01:07:470 (2) - k? die naechste kombo spielt sich fuer mich fluessiger wenn das hier auch nen k is keine ahnung Wieder ein guter Ansatzt, aber es passt nicht zum System welches ich hier angestrebt habe. Der Anfang eines neuen patterns ist immer die gegensätzliche Farbe. Bis ab 01:11:779 der abekobe style(mirror effect) genutzt wird. Ich müsste wenn ich diese note hier zu k wechsel, also 01:12:577 (2) - zu d machen was nicht passen würde vom Ton her.
01:29:811 (1,1) - 01:33:641 (1,1) - wenn du die hier loeschen wuerdest, wuerde die ganze section die melody besser repraesentieren, aber ich weiss nicht ob du noch nen anderen grund fuer diese beiden k d hattest "Rise of notes", damit man Unterschiede zwischen den stanzas erkennt und die Gewichtung der patterns anders wahr nimmt.

00:35:396 - dieser rest moment kann leute aus der bahn werfen, weil er im gegensatz zu deinen anderen rest moments in der mitte einer measure ist und nicht am start oder ende wie deine ganzen anderen, ich glaub das waere einfacher zu verstehen wenn du diese stelle fuellst
01:06:672 - bis 01:27:098 - das einzige was mich an dieser section verwirrt hat ist, dass du k manchmal fuer melody und manchmal wie instrument claps verwendest und stellen wie 01:07:630 - frei laesst aber dann claps wie 01:08:907 mapst was einen beim first play etwas aus der bahn werfen koennte ich nehme mal an das soll so Da habe ich auch improvisiert. Habe halt größten teils der Flöte gefolgt, aber damit die sectionen nicht zu weit von einander getrennt sind dennoch die kats rein gesetzt.
