"This score doesn't look right" Thread

Five seconds?

The chart shows that the fails occurred 20 seconds through or so. With 19k plays, that's about 105 hours of consecutive playing, averaging out to 15 hours a day, straight, with no breaks in between.
Of cource i played with double-time mod for save time. And push skip-button. And i tried once again with stopwatch and result 7 seconds.
I'd say that's pretty ridiculous for a human player, but pretty reasonable for a bot if you leave the computer on during your waking hours.
I'm just computer games nerd. My record is more than 36 hours of playing in Lineage without sleep and food. I didn't use bot. I don't even know where is it take. And what for?

I just noticed that this guy "Detrude-Loli" (http://osu.ppy.sh/u/204018) made an impossible score in this song " http://osu.ppy.sh/b/35124 ". All the others do a smaller score with all mods but he does it with no mods at all and just his spins are crazy, constant 477 spins. i dont think that it is possible for a human. Would be nice if someone would delete his score ^^

have an eye on him, because i can give a few songs, where he doesn't have full combo, eventhough it says in his stats.

I tried this, my replay wasn't bugged.

Can you be more specific about your input method?

Edit: Discussed in irc using mouse and keyboard input at the same time does seem to be the problem with the taiko replays.

Can you be more specific about your input method?

Shulin, the bug only works with more complex rolls, not with 1/2 or 1/3 rolls.
Most of the time when you will see it is on 1/4 1/6(lol) and 1/8 (D:<) Rolls.

What map did you try the mouse on?
I know for a fact I have used mouse before and this bug always happens.

i am not sure if i can post it here. everyone post the replay of a score "doesn't look right". my score in the replay is lower by 400k points and in the replay there is an error because it doesn't show the last combo. ok sorry if i post in the wrong place again i dont know where other

In this map, Rabbit Joint - Legend of Zelda (http://osu.ppy.sh/s/125) easy difficulty:

Top 1, SkyStriker, got only 42k in the end.
This map has 1 spinner, he got only 1000 point.
How come he get 66772 points in scoreboard?
1 100, 1 beat, 1 50.

I played it with Hardrock and Flashlight, but I can only get 52176 with max combo 72.
I got 3000 in spinner. I got 1 100, 1 beat. but still can't get no1.

@SinclareC: its becouse of the old spinning algorithm again. The replays don't show the spinning score they got with the old algorithm

Me too, I think I know how he did that. This cannot be done first hand. As you can see in the replay. The 2nd spinner circle froze about halfway. In other replay's it doesn't. It's a score that even Auto without any mods on can't beat.

He missed the very first spinner,also he missed one spinner in the midst of the game as well, and the combo counter got reset, yet in the end it still says he had FC.

Fist Place score on Taiko Mod.

First off I SSed with Hardrock, and this player got 3x 100 without mods.

Also watch his replay all of his hits sound offbeat as if there would be plenty more 100's, and he hit the slidders all on one side of the drum! O_o I dunno if he was just hitting the same key with 2 fingers but that's highly unlikely. He also hits the ending spinner with one side of the drum. O_o....

If you miss a part of a slider, it doesnt count as a miss.

You'll still get a 100 if you miss the end of a slider thus you won't get an SS, but on that list it's shown that they've SSed it. I'm guessing they are old scores?

I've seen evidence of this too, scores not matching replays. See: Perfect Cherry Blossom (ZUN) - Toono Gensou Monogatari (Insane) on Taiko.

Lybydose is a genius. !multi kkhpeople, almost 100% sure it'll show up. Even more reason to ban.

Also to above person, did they have mods on or was there an incredibly long spinner? Also hitting 100s at the start of the song while the combo is low is much less significant than hitting say 6 100s at the very end of the song when the combo's high.

Anyway, that is normal, it happens when people get more Big Notes that you, since they worth double score, and when they get more "dots" on the "yellow sliders" (don't know the correct names xD)

Happened to me a few times too
There is no big notes, and I hit the sliders correctly.
he had no mods.
Also I have seen this player getting higher scores than me with a hell-ton more 100's than me lately, i'm jumping to conclusions just, o.O/ I dunno

hmmm it can be annoying when accuracy doesn't determine your rank in taiko, you also feel guilty when your ranked higher with a worse acc haha...

Surprisingly these do not seem to be owned by the same player at all. It must be some kind of chinese clan of some sorts.
Although they certainly all did create a second account to form this alphabetical game so they have to be purged anyway.

Although they certainly all did create a second account to form this alphabetical game so they have to be purged anyway.
I've checked the X's and D's replay on Ganymede, and their spinning style was different. And I checked B's account, surprisingly he/she is the only one that comes from Macau. Perhaps they are different person, but why they seemed to have a equal skill among each other and playing the same song? I don't understand.

Inozuma score shows that he/she ended with 183,022 score but in the replay shows a 166,392 score not to mention that he/she broke a slider and get a 398 combo.

how he/she ended in first place...? Hax or old spinner score?

This guy in first has a combo that's higher than the maximum possible combo on the scoreboard, and if you watch the replay he only got 80,000 or so points.

Yeah. He must use TaTaCon, and he is really pro drummer. Damnit, why! I think it's just kind of retarded speedhack. Even White Wolf can't press so fast.

i don't think so. if he is that pro a drummer i should see him a lot on the scoreboard, but in fact only Easy and Normal and some Hard, almost never insane. have a look at his historical statsitics, he had 971 tries on a not hard Insane and got an HD S,98%, not so good.
even Tatacon is kind of unbelievable, Kita Saitama 2000 is 223 BPM, and somebody did SS it (arcade), but never heard someone can SS a 340 BPM song, the difference is...yay...340 and 223, you all know what i mean.

the part from around 880 combo till 1080 shouldn't be possible to not miss. even with a tatacon. i mean, even if his hands were fast enough keeping it up for 200 notes is pretty unbelievable.

other players have attempted that map with no better than a B rank, seriously...

My brother (OhMyEggrolls) watched me play osu! one day with the mod "Relax" on. He said something very interesting. He said "If you can use relax like that, then maybe someone can hack it to use relax with scoring, therefore cheating." I said it's nearly impossible to hack osu! but he said "If I can think of it, I'm sure someone would do it.". Interesting, not?
