Also note that hitsound suggestions on a diff may apply on similar parts of the song and the other diffs of the mapset.

  1. 00:00:481 (1) - This will overlap a part of 00:03:305 (1) if you don't activate Snaking Slider in the options. You may want to separate them.
  2. 00:15:305 (2,3) - They're touching each other in a slightly unaesthetic way here. Try to make a blanket pattern that can avoid this, if possible, or just normally space them.
  3. 00:17:776 (2) - Move the middle node to (416,180) and the last one to (432,224) so the blanket here will be better?
  4. 00:23:776 (2) - And move the middle node to (432,228) plus the last one to (444,184)? This is also to make the blanket neater. You'll have to deal with the spacing inconsistency yourself, though.
  5. 00:25:893 - 00:33:658 - I think it'd be cool if you used a finish every first white tick and a whistle for every third tick of a stanza. It'd fit with the instruments here a lot. Only using whistles on the first and third white tick is technically the correct way, but using finishes should also work to give more frills in your map. (Same thing applies to similar sections.)

  8. 01:01:893 - Why 30%? The instrument here isn't that weak. In fact, making the hitsound's volume lowered here will only cause awkwardness for players because there's no feedback (aka sounds) when they hit the head of the slider. Just make it 70% too, I think.

  1. I personally think you used too much map field-wide symmetry patterns, which makes this map a little boring. No need to remap or something, though; just giving some notes here.
  2. 00:13:187 (1,2) - Even for a 1/1 jump, I still think this distance is a little too overboard for a Hard diff. Consider just using 1.8-2.0x.
  3. 00:15:128 (3,4) - ^ (except 1/2, which doesn't make things any better)
  4. 00:34:364 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - A 8-note 1/2 circle stream at 170 BPM can be too difficult even for a Hard diff because you have to keep the rhythm for a relatively long time (in a Hard diff, of course). Maybe you can use sliders to replace a few of them.
  5. 00:41:776 - Add a whistle because they fit with the instruments here?
  6. 00:42:128 (1) - ^
  7. 00:45:481 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - Similar to 00:34:364.
  8. 00:58:011 (1) - What's with the NC here? I think it's redundant since it's supposed to be the part of the previous combo according to the music's rhythm, and there isn't anything, from what I've seen, that justifies the usage of the NC. So uh, remove it?
  9. 00:59:599 (2,1,2) - The flow here is very weird because they're spaced the same visually and you have to move to the same direction after hitting the first two circles (upward, though 00:59:776 (1,2) also goes leftward too). I think you can find a solution by yourself; I fear I'll only incorporate my own mapping style if I have to suggest something like this.

  12. 00:52:187 - I think you should add another circle with a whistle here to support the instrument's sound. Right now, it just feels empty...
  13. 00:55:893 (4,7) - You usually add NCs for patterns like this, so add them on these spots too?
  14. 00:56:246 (6,7) - Considering you made a jump at 00:55:540 (3,4), try to make one here too? You can try rearranging objects here if you think you'll need it.
  15. 00:57:834 - 00:58:011 - Try to add circles here? Same reason as 00:52:187.

Recommended by Raiku, so I'll have a quick look.

General
- Set "梶浦由記" as the Artist. Kajiura Yuki is correct as the romanised artist.
- The album title should not be in the Source field, so move it to tags instead. According to Wikipedia, the title is "Mai-Otome Original Soundtrack Vol. 2 ~ Otome no Inori (Otome's Prayers)"
- Because the song is mostly calm, it doesn't really need kiai sections. I would suggest removing them, or if not make them fully consistent between difficulties.
- You can uncheck "Letterbox during breaks" on all difficulties for consistency. This is optional since there are no breaks.

Insane
- AIBat marks some notes as having very small snapping errors, so try resnapping all notes.
- Looks technically rankable, but I would encourage you to continue the flow more and leave less spaces between notes that last for a full beat. 00:25:540 to 00:36:481 is one of the best sections in the map because you can see the timeline is filled in each 1/2 tick. Of course, you don't have to do this for the entire map but oftentimes it helps everything come together.
- Consider using OD8 to vary the scoreboards more, since the map is short and relatively easy to use DT/NC + HD on.

Forseen's Hard
- Tick Rate 2 would help keep the flow of the map during sliders.
00:04:717 (1,2,3,4) - Since the AR is low, back-and-forth patterns like this are confusing to read.
00:17:952 (3,4,5) - The blanket between (3) and (4) could be improved. I would also take (5) out from under the end of (4) since it doesn't need to be hidden like that.
00:58:364 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - Really big jump compared to the rest of the map, change the pattern to make the spacing more consistent here. It can still be something different for the end of the map, but it also needs to cohere with the rest of it.

Railgun's Normal
00:37:187 (1) - Disable grid snap and move to x:400, y:158 to make the notes line up properly.
00:48:481 (1) - Remove the whistle from the body of the slider.
00:55:540 (1) - Move to x:134, y:282.

Easy

Hello, just a small mod from me as a way of thanking you for your mod on mine.

  • General
    • Normally, kiais should start on a new measure, because that's when the actual choruses start. So I strongly suggest you move your starting kiai times:
    - First kiai starts on 00:25:893
    - Second kiai on 00:37:187
    - Third kiai on 00:55:540
    You'll have to do this for all difficulties.

    • I don't think the kiai hitsounds are very fitting, I suggest you change it. Right now, you used finisher for every 1st and 3rd beat in a measure, correct? I think it sounds much better if you use: finisher for every first beat in every measure, and use clap for every 2nd and 4th beat. Alternatively, you can use the clap for every 1st and 3rd beat. How about you give these patterns a try and see how you like it better? I'm not sure if you'll be able to use them properly for easy difficulty because of the lack of notes, since well.. it's easy.

    • 01:01:893 I really see no reason to lower the volume for this part since the notes are clearly audible in the song. I suggest you remove this 30% audio timing point.
Sorry I don't have anything specific for any difficulty in particular since this map is really good, and the song is pretty simple. Good luck!

00:43:893 (3) - Move to x:344 y:128, so it'll stack regularly the (5)'s head, improving readability. And so, move 00:43:717 (2) - to x:264 y:80 to preserve spacing safety.

00:19:893 (4) - use a whistle instead. the finish sounds too distracting. if you wanna keep it, then reduce the volume of it to prevent the distraction.
00:22:364 (1) - ik you can replace this for notes. there's nothing specific that emphasizes the spinner so it feels unfitting to follow while the music is still going.
00:59:776 (3) - replace this for a 1/1 slider and a circle at 01:00:834 - to follow the music more properly during gameplay. the music stops at 01:00:128 and it feels unfitting to follow since the slider is still going during gameplay.
again with the finishes. follow what i said for the easy diff.

00:04:011 (5) - i think you can make this slider look like (2) for symmetry in this pattern during gameplay.
