Hey there ~ anyways.. really sorry for late
Here comes mod as requested on IMT
Pls keep in mind that i started this mod a few days ago.. my apologize if some issue
was doubled
[General]
- It would be nice if you can add silent sliderslide, since some sound on the
slowpart of this music seems too noisy for me. - Consider adding "Okayu" into your tags, since it make people easier
to search for the GD's name. I doubt if someone want to typing o_k_a_y_u into the
search bar, they will probably typing it okayu instead. - Ai Bat said there're Incosistent in Kiai times on your diffs. It's
probably fine if GD'ers have different Kiai times. But according to the ranking
criteria, All diffs that you owned on the mapset should have consistent kiai times.
Take a look at this :
[Insane]
- 00:02:006 (3,4) - This 3/4 rhytm spacing quite uncommon and it
may cause a confuse to some players if you use it right om the first part of the song.
For this stuff, i'd really recommend you to use circle instead at 00:02:006 - and use
a 3/4 repeat slider or 3/4 slider + 1/2 slider from 00:02:196 - . I also got some
ideas of pattern that you can use, see if you like it - 00:03:905 (2,3) - I'd suggest you to not skipping the instrument
here, this can be arranged better to follow the pitch at 00:04:000 - . Try to changing
00:03:905 (2) - into a note then start a 1/2 slider from 00:04:000 - should be a nicer
way to emphasizing it. - 00:04:285 (4) - Quite ugly shape for my taste, you can bend this slider's middle
point slightly a bit down to create better transition to the next note. Since this form
seems too curve that didn't make a steady flow - 00:11:500 (3) - This slider seems odd for me, the jump pattern suddenly comes to
awkward because the transition from (2) to (4) was broken of this weird's slider shape.
Shouldn't it be arranged on the opposite way ? Try bend the slider downwards that
pointing to the next slider like this to create neater pattern : - 00:12:449 (2,1) - Any reason for this anti-jump ? this can be weird to play since
the spacing between them isn't the same with 00:13:019 (2,1) - which clearly have same
pitch between them. Try to Ctrl + G 00:12:829 (1,2) - so the stop wouldn't be odd to
play. The pattern would be more comfortable imo - 00:15:677 (5) - Another harsh pattern here, this slider's end was shaped downward
when the next note was on the upside of them. This kind of pattern would ruins the flow
and quite uncomfortable to play. I'd suggest you to bend this slider like (4) but on
the mirrored way to create steadier transition. Like this - 00:19:664 (1,3) - Eh.. isn't the NC should be switched here ? the (3) were stanza
and this pattern wasn't triplet. Any other reason behind this ? - 00:19:854 (3) - Sounds boring for a clear 1/1 slider in a fun complex song like
this, how about replace this with a 1/2 slider with a triplet on the end to create it
more challanging ? with this rhytm you can also emphasize the vocal at 00:20:044 - and
00:20:139 - which might make more sense - 00:22:892 (3) - The guitar pitch seems started here, It would really fit if you can
add finish on the head of this slider. This can accompany the increase of the rhytm
imo. Try to add and listen it - 00:25:076 - Seems there're a vocal here, you can try to add circle here that stacked
with 00:25:171 (1) - 's sliders start to give more impact to the next slider stream
jump. As it's look boring if a stream jump doesn't started with a triplet or duplet.
Try it, the pattern would be more fun to play imo - 00:29:253 (4,5) - I'm not a fan on this kind of bear anti jump on Insane diff to be
honest. This spacing near the same with the 1/3 rhytm before when this was spaced 1/2.
It would be nice if you can do a proper anti jump or use a correct DS instead of this
pattern, the smooth movement would be ruin here and i don't think that's comfortable to
play - 00:35:424 (1,1) - The drum 1/4 rhytm on the music were still continued here, you can
add a whistle too to emphasize it. Since there'nt just clap that can be heared on the
music atm - 00:50:899 - There're high beat vocal here, so Consider adding circle here to keep
consistency with the vocal emphasize that you had done until now. Also you can make
slider note slider pattern like you used before, see what's my suggestion about pattern
:
- 00:51:563 (8) - Hm.. why there's a clap here ? i can't hear any double drum attached
on the music. Is this unecessary clap placed as for intentional reason ? if you just
missclicked it then pls remove it - 00:51:753 (9,1) - It would be more tidy if you can blanket them.. since current
pattern seems a bit messy for me due to the awkward jump from (8) - 00:52:987 (4,5,6) - Nah.. you missed a clap on them didn't you ? the music were
providing such a clearly similiar sound with the drum that you emphasized with clap
before. Consider adding it instead - 01:01:627 (3) - This would follow the vocal better if you shorten this into 3/4 and
add note at 01:02:006 - . Since this part wasn't exactly same at 01:00:867 (3) - when
the vocal was only landed on the high beat. So make it on the same rhytm either
symmetry would be a bit weird imo since the music was different - 01:02:956 (3) - Just some natural thing here, but you can put this a bit far from
the next object since the next beat is high vocal, it sounds weird to play if you give
a jump at (2) but you didn't do that here - 01:11:880 (3) - Again.. this kind of shape would suddenly ruins the flow because it
didn't good any transition that connected from the slight shape slider before and (4).
I'd really recommend you to bend the slider symmetry with (1) here to create neater
pattern. Current seems really odd to play. - 01:17:386 (1,3) - Same as 00:19:664 (1,3) -
- 01:23:652 (1) - Hm.. the first shape on this slider seems too edgy at the left side
that make bad form of this slider. Try arranging this slider a bit by moving the 2nd
anchor 1 - 2 grid to right, this can make it looks even prettier, look what i've do :3
[Hard]
- 00:01:627 (1,2,3) - Same as insane before, you should know that
this rhytm will be so hard to read especially for novice players. But if you want to
keep it, it's clearly fine though i won't mention this anymore :3 - 00:05:519 (2,3) - Pls consider again why do you want to stack this, 3/4 spacing with
the note stacked seems a bit hard to read imo - 00:07:038 - You should add circle here to keep consistency with the rhytm that you
use, since you always emphasizing the instrument on blue tick, it would ruin the
pattern if you skip this. - 00:10:740 (1) - Try CTRL G this slider, the transition would be a lot better imo.
Since i can see that the slider's shape was well designed for CTRL G, the current
pattern has weird flow to follow during gameplay. - 00:19:664 (1,2,1,3) - I didn't understand with your NC pattern here, why did you use
NC every one beat before downbeat ? is this intentional for a reset behind the downbeat
? this will keep confusing me since you can give more impact to the instrument if you
give the NC instead on the downbeat. i advise you to fix the combos intro into the
downbeat. - 00:25:551 (9,1) - The way yo arranged this pattern seems ugly for my taste. It'd
would be better if you can blanket it instead or using a normal DS. - 01:02:196 - Try adding a circle here ? it would keep the smooth play and keeping the
steady flow that you have during gameplay - 01:04:095 (6) - Changing this into 2 circle instead of kick would give smoother
transition and following the music better instead. Because the blue tick on the repeat
slider was landed on nothing that maybe can be weird to follow during gameplay. - 01:08:462 (6) - Consider not to stack with (4). It would be difficult for players to
read a stack between kickslider imo. I suggest you to moving somewhere else, create
triangle with (4) and (5) by moving it to similiar place with 196 220 would work nice
imo - 01:26:690 (3,4) - This rhytm can be arranged better to following the vocal, i
suggest you to moving (4) 1/4 beat early and shorten it into 3/4 slider. then you can
add note at 01:27:449 - to keep following the drum. Then it would look like this :
[Normal]
- 00:01:627 (1,1) - It would be neater if you can copy one of them and make
these sliders on the same shape with horizontal flip. - 00:05:804 (2,1) - Intentional things.. but it would be a lot neater if you can
blanketing this instead.. current seems bear pattern to follow imo - 00:08:842 (2) - This pattern can be a lot improved imo, if you change this into a
note and then start a 1/1 slider to follow that hold instrument from 00:09:221 - would
look more sense. Since using repeat point for downbeat seems a bit weird to play imo - 00:16:437 - This part looks empty with the drum skipped, you can add circle here to
keep the steady flow and smooth transition between them - 00:37:323 (2) - A stack on end would be greatly frustating and hard to read
especially on normal diff. This note has been appeared when you still following the
path on slider (1). I suggest you to use normal spacing instead - 01:22:892 (4,1) - A 1/1 slider would be better instead to replace these note, since
you can keep emphasizing the vocal that make consistency with the previous 1/1 slider
that you used - 01:26:690 (1,2,3) - This whole part plays awkwardly especially the end of slider's
(2) that you used to start a vocal hold that must be better to be the start of slider,
try replacing this with 2 1/1 slider instead to follow the vocal properly.
[Easy]
- 00:06:183 (4) - The slider's body is out of screen, and yeah
it's unrankable. you could move the middle point a bit up to avoid this. - 00:13:778 (1,3) - I would not recommend you to using this kind of slider on easier diff, since the red point may affect the slider's ball movement a bit that can cause newbies to confused. Better use a normal shaped slider instead
- 01:08:462 (1,1) - This flowing really weird during gameplay.. how about changing the 2nd (1) to a simple straight slider instead to create smoother transition to follow ?
- 01:11:120 (2,1) - I'd be better if you unstack them, sometimes stack with different combo colour could be unreadable for newbies.
Well, mainly i just tell you the major issues on Hard Normal and Easy, yep i didn't say anything minor except in Insane. i think you can clearly understand what did i mean to create nice rhytm and flow by looking at my mod on Insane. I'd hope you can do better work on your next maps, but it's not too bad for the beginning map.
Good Luck on the way ~
