long games are easy turned. By that time most of the champs have good gold, if any team is able to ace the other team, that's gg. Rumble probably got caught once or smth

even fed, rumble won't make the difference with only 3 ap items :c (no raba), better catch vayne é_è and yeah lategame so everyone had enough stuff so one bad team fight and...

Oh hey duo jungle is actually a thing with premades
Pick a jungler who can make good use of blue buff, one who needs red buff and a midlaner without ressources
Split the jungle equally and make sure to invade as much as possible to make the enemy jungler have a bad time = even more farm
Add much ganks and very dragon/baron control
= Win 4v5 easily okay and that might also be because Riven is broken

Well in SoloQ people tend to push their lane when they have an advantage instead of freezing so it wasn't that much of a problem for Sivir to stay alive and farm under turret
she still went afk but it was ok, all the other lanes had an advantage at that point

With the changes to ambient gold and early objectives it is a lot easier for the losing team to rubber band effect and win a game now. I doubt it will stay this way though because this encourages passive play/turtling and people don't want to watch that crap in high level tournaments. :(


Speaking of feeding bot lane. No one knows what to do against a Warwick support. Still winning games.
MF lagged out for about 5 mins, but it didn't matter since every time my ult was up we (me mostly) deleted sona and sivir couldn't do shit about that. Oh and their jungler camped the hell out of bottom hence why our top lane kat was 9/0.

They probably got shitstomped in early and midgame but didn't lose too many objectives, then farmed+pressured the map, maybe got some picks and free objectives and got a lategame ace to end

They had nidalee support. You never win with nidalee support. Don't know how you guys even expected to win.

Nidalee support -> not buy sightstone -> have no vision -> can't pressure since you have no vision -> can't push advantages -> game stalls -> still can't pressure -> people try to pressure -> people get caught -> lose game

This game is so easy to understand. Also the main reason why I have huge winrate as support, without even playing that well. Vision carries games. Still in plat most supports play the vision game terrible.

Nidalee support actually works in high elo, Bischu played it many times. But yeah I agree, you need to buy a sightstone and pink wards

That has a 0.1% chance to happen. Low chance for either, but sightstone + pinks, won't happen.

In solo queue anything can work if you are good enough with that champion. Heck I would even say this could apply in premades.

It's already been done lol. Can't remember who that streamer was though.

There was even a guy who was doing a zero item jungle vlad, but he ended up getting banned after awhile. :(

The riven one was done by a popular streamer I think it was either Voyboy or chu8. He also did some AD kass and some other weird stuff.

The jungle vlad one wasn't done by anyone special he was just trying to prove a point with how easy it was to get to gold in season 3 so I can't give any hard evidence. I can't find the original thread, but he did make another thread after the first one was locked way after he was banned for the first attempt.

Tbh doing something like that is a dick move and he deserved that ban. Going itemless on any champion is taking it too far even if you are trying to prove something. Playing something like AP riven or Caitlyn is still troll, but funny to see lol. Remember the issue with the guy who started the proxy singed BS? Same boat but more extreme.

Honestly I think you are just trying to poke holes into the statement I made. lol

Why is it a dick move and deserves a ban? Why aren't people allowed to try alternative builds, especially if they are working? More build options = more diversity = more fun.

Did you not see where I said itemless?

I guarantee you if someone on your team said "I'm going to play jungle vlad and not build items" you will dodge or report him at the end of the game. Building unconventionally is fine, but doing something like that is not. That's why I said he deserved that ban because win or lose he made the game frustrating for at least 4 people by doing that.

I highly doubt you would if someone in your ranked game did something like that. How would you feel if you lost? Would you still feel the same way?

As I said winning does not make that ok. His case was reviewed by Riot and they pretty much said "Playing itemless is not a build" and stated something along the lines of this "If you all agreed to it then it's fine, but in the end this is a form of griefing" following with them throwing around the work "jerk" a few times lol. Take that as you will.

So in other words and I've went over this in this thread a long time ago you can actually get banned for building stupid shit if you get reported enough.

Edit: Going to see if i can find this thread or at least Riots official statement on playing against the meta, item builds etc..

Playing without items isn't playing to win.

You're going to lose in a fight to anyone with even one doran's. Which isn't playing to win.

Even if you play with some derp build like AP Caitlyn, you are building items which means you are playing to win.

TL;DR: Riot doesn't specifically say they enforce the meta, but playing against the meta when four other people on your team say no will get you banned. It's called refusing to communicate with your team.

I've already gotten a temp ban for this btw so they aren't messing around lol.

I find it funny that one of the things he/she lists is Support Fiddlesticks without support items. I see people go 'support' all the time without support items... (Tryndamere, Lux, Annie in the last two to three months).

I don't care if you go AD LeBlanc jungle, especially if it is working (and obviously itemless Vlad seems to be working). For me reporting someone for this is just being bitter about your loss and trying to shift the blame. Reporting is for people with bad manners and not for people who play "bad" or "against the meta", at least in my opinion.

That's what the mute button is for. I don't care what kind of assholes I'm playing with, as long as they do their job correctly I'm fine with that. But if they feel the need to troll (i.e. not buying items) that's a reason for me to report someone because that means they're not even trying to win.

So you out of about 100 or even 10,000 people may feel that way. It's just a game? Personally I would see it as trolling if I saw someone go itemless purposely with no context, and you bet your ass I would report him just to spare others from having to deal with that. Point = Winning games does not make you immune to punishment for acting like a dick or doing stupid shit like going itemless.

Roam Annie was a few games yes, but it was multiple games probably about 10 or so which is why i got banned. Doing something like this in one game won't get you banned.

That screen was taken may of 2012 before fiddle support was a common pick. This just proves that riot does indeed enforce the meta. They just don't want to say they do officially.

Edit: Just to clarify I'm against riot ever trying to enforce the meta It's stupid. My last 10-15 games on Summoners Rift have been support Warwick which is definitely not a standard support pick. Thing is I do it mostly in premades and in solo queue I ask my team if it's okay if I play it. If not I'll play taric instead no big deal at all.
