Finally I can mod this ♥

First, it annoys me that i cant see the SB ;w; and i don't know why. Neither gameplay nor testmode or editor.

Easy

00:15:161 (2,1) - You could align them two, so they are paralell
00:32:990 - At this part, i don't like how you have so many 1/2 here. It's a little weird and harder to play for beginners. Already said this to you x:
00:41:218 - Same here
01:19:618 (1,2,3) - I don't like how they go. The flow isn't so good here. Since the first ( 01:19:618 (1) - ) slider is curved and the direction goes up not to the side. I would suggest moving the circle more up and the 2nd slider a little up as well.

01:29:904 (3,1) - Transition is a little wrong. Same as before actually. If you have a curved slider you should go more to this direction. This would flow better and give a better transition. Try this:

01:41:218 (1) - Not so keen with these snake sliders, they are so short and so squeezed. Make them a little smoother.
01:49:790 (1,2) - Blanket could be a little better. Also i'd find it better if you reverse the 2nd slider, because of the flow, but its fine.
01:53:561 (2,1,2) - Make a better triangle pattern.
02:00:761 (1,2) - Blanket could be better here too.
02:03:504 (1,3) - They are so close together. If you go up to the circle the pattern is fine, but then you need to go down which is a little blocky. Its a little contradictional to me. Just move them a little away from each other.
02:13:104 (2) - Thats a huge spacing huh :<
- Same for ongoing slider jumps.
02:34:704 (3,4) - Beginners might missclick this pattern and click the 4 instead of the 3 first. Actually it's right but it could happen since of the circle appearing so fast.
02:38:476 (6) - Move this a little right to give it a better transition and flow.
02:49:790 (4,1) - Blanket could be better again
02:50:133 (1,2,3) - Transition is really bad again on this pattern. Going down and then up is weird to play.Since you expect the circle 02:50:133 (1,2) - to go into the direction of the slider.

Insane

You could lower the HP or OD a little, i would say. You always complain about high HP and then you do it yourself :'D Well, i just would find it better and smoother to play, but your choice.

00:05:390 (9,1) - Blanket Blanket
00:07:447 (6,7) - I think the transition isn't so good here as well, again.
00:12:761 (5,6) - They have more spacing from each other and play fine, but 00:11:047 (1,2) - these have not so much and look a little odd. Can you make them more spaced? Its not spacing wise fully correct either, but if you change it it to more spacing its fine. Also looks better.
00:17:561 (4,5,6,7,8) - Mhhhh, i have no idea what's wrong here xD ♥
00:19:276 (1,2,3,4,5) - Blanket Blanket owo

01:13:104 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - They are not fully square, dont know if you did this on purpose but i would make it square.
01:16:361 (4,5) - Tbh, this is a little blocking to play. You had only doubles so far. Now having this slider and 1/4 circle is odd and confusing.
01:24:247 (1,2,3,4) - These are wonderful and support the vocal "Get Out" so perfect ♥
01:38:133 (6,7,1) - This kind of tripple thing is also weird to play. I find it confusing.
01:56:647 (5,6) - What happened to the spacing here? o.o Little issue to fix
02:05:561 (3) - Tbh, a third slider the same way doesnt fit anymore. I know its done on purpose due to the symmetry but it just doesnt fit the song anymore perfectly.
02:30:933 - Add a spinner here, ending here 02:32:304 - to give a little transition and marker for the incomming part.
02:38:304 (6,7) - I, again, don't like the transition. Its just so blocky to play imo
02:52:190 (7,1) - Same here, you should move this slider 02:52:533 (1) - a little up, to give better transition and flow.
02:53:047 (2) - I'd find it better when this circle would be played below them slider. Above it feels wrong.

- Same 00:26:133 (5,6) - this is a homage to my older maps tbh, its a mapper pattern i made famous a long time ago which involved reverse slider patterns, its a love/hate pattern but i have to say personally i like it, it breaks the flow between the slider to then restart the flow in a different angle afterwards
00:36:933 - I dont really think this circle fits here. Here is not really a beat you play to. Its more of a space filler. Placing it here 00:37:104 - would be better imo, goes better with the vocal too.
- Same with 00:37:618 (7) - i agree but removed them both instead, i dont really like them going with the vocals either, better without them

I know its done on purpose due to the symmetry but it just doesnt fit the song anymore perfectly.tbh its not done at all for symmetry, its done to follow the lyrics, the whole vocal line is sang on the same musical level in sets of 3, each 1st word has a little more power than the two after, with the two after being identical to each other in the different sets. thus i needed to make pattern what replicated this same effect and so i chose to use a repeating slider with ofc the hit at the start representing the stronger 1st vocal note and the 2 after the repeat and end.
02:30:933 - Add a spinner here, ending here 02:32:304 - to give a little transition and marker for the incomming part. i dont wanna add anything at this point due to the fact i want the player to break for this whole musical section then begin playing only once the next section begins, to start before this would kinda break the entire reason behind my break here :p
02:38:304 (6,7) - I, again, don't like the transition. Its just so blocky to play imo yea this one is on purpose, i wanted it blocky here so that i could counter back on my flow pattern in the reverse direction
02:52:190 (7,1) - Same here, you should move this slider 02:52:533 (1) - a little up, to give better transition and flow. agreed and fixed
02:53:047 (2) - I'd find it better when this circle would be played below them slider. Above it feels wrong. sure

I'm not sure what it really worth but well, i thought it would be best to point it out.

  1. 01:56:647 - add a note here? There is this "kick sound" (don't know if i use the right word) in the music that you did follow at 01:55:276 (1) and then at
  2. 01:58:018 (1) and 01:59:390 (3) so follow it here too for consistency.
  3. 02:41:904 (1) - I have several objection about this slider with two arrows. First it's the only one of the diff with two arrows. For a song with many repetitive pattern (in the song) it looks out of place imo. Besides, it's not really interesting to play. I would highly suggest you to split it into 2 sliders. It would me more interesting to play imo and would help with the polarity thingy..... well, it would help the transition between the 1/1 and 3/2 here for beginners. Why i insisted so much? Because i really think it's important and the last person i said this (*cough*bouncebabe*cough*) reply like this:

    So i try insisting more this time..... Yes, i'm that obsessional!

(If you'll do the nazi stuff use a BSD of 1/2 or less or it won't work because otherwise the slider will change it's length by 1/4.)
  1. 00:12:418 (2) - (nazi) 2nd slider point one grid down for a better blanket.
  2. 00:37:104 (3,4) - why this change of spacing? (x1.4 instead of x1.2) It serves no purpose here because it doesn't follow anything peculiar in the song nor did it improve the pattern (like 02:11:733 (1,2,1,2)) so you should fix it imo.
  3. 00:39:847 (2) - (nazi) 2nd slider point one grid right for a better blanket.
  4. 00:41:218 (1) - (nazi) same but 1 grid up this time.
  5. 01:45:676 (4,1) - This overlap isn't really good looking. I think you can move 01:46:704 (5,1) more to the right to avoid this. Since your symmetries aren't always at the center (like 01:43:961 (1,2,3,4)) it's not a problem.

  3. 02:40:876 (5,6,7,8,9,10,1) - Why all these note? I don't mind the pattern but i don't see what they follow in the song. Not the vocals and not the instrumental either. I don't know, i think i would have see something more like but not 6 notes in a row.
Placement/Aesthetic
  1. 00:42:247 (5,6,7,8) - Switch their position? The jump 00:41:904 (4,5) is way smaller than 00:41:390 (2,3) and 00:42:418 (6,7) and 00:42:933 (8,1). It feels awkward. By doing this it will be much better imo.

  3. 02:41:904 (1) - I have several objection about this slider with two arrows. First it's the only one of the diff with two arrows. For a song with many repetitive pattern (in the song) it looks out of place imo. Besides, it's not really interesting to play. I would highly suggest you to split it into 2 sliders. It would me more interesting to play imo and would help with the polarity thingy..... well, it would help the transition between the 1/1 and 3/2 here for beginners. Why i insisted so much? Because i really think it's important and the last person i said this (*cough*bouncebabe*cough*) reply like this:

  3. 00:39:847 (2) - (nazi) 2nd slider point one grid right for a better blanket.
  4. 00:41:218 (1) - (nazi) same but 1 grid up this time. neither of these are blankets and aint meant to blanket perfect
  5. 01:45:676 (4,1) - This overlap isn't really good looking. I think you can move 01:46:704 (5,1) more to the right to avoid this. Since your symmetries aren't always at the center (like 01:43:961 (1,2,3,4)) it's not a problem.everyone picks on my overlaps :p hehe remapped the sections placements

  1. 02:11:733 (1) - Finish? I hear a finish sound in the music. (Same for the Advanced)the hitsounds effect the SB and also i dont want to use a powerful hitsound here musically

  1. 00:45:333 (5) - Why you didn't use a 1/2 beat long slider like at 00:48:076 (4)? This void of 3/2 is a little bit weird. because in this section each combo gets a little bit more intense after the other, the first being weaker then going into a stronger and stronger, to represent the build up to hitting the chorus
  2. 01:56:133 - Add a note? I can ear the same note than 01:58:876 (3) or 01:59:561 (6) etc... its to break into the flow of the next pattern rather than suddenly hitting the player with it. in the next pattern after every snare so player has to move a distance and play from a different point, this is a smaller version to help the player notice the timing coming
  3. 02:40:876 (5,6,7,8,9,10,1) - Why all these note? I don't mind the pattern but i don't see what they follow in the song. Not the vocals and not the instrumental either. I don't know, i think i would have see something more like but not 6 notes in a row.changing a note from a note to a slider doesnt make it flow better when the problem is you cant hear what its mapped to, its the same, but this was done for flow, it doesnt directly follow he rhythm like the chorus below, it instead follow the identical rhythm set withing this chorus at 02:35:390 (7,8,9,10,1) - again being the lighter easier version to get you prepared for the increase at 02:37:790 (4,5,6,7,8) - which then increases a third time at the point you said, think of it like stairs and each one you climb gets higher a small bit

Placement/Aesthetic
  1. 00:42:247 (5,6,7,8) - Switch their position? The jump 00:41:904 (4,5) is way smaller than 00:41:390 (2,3) and 00:42:418 (6,7) and 00:42:933 (8,1). It feels awkward. By doing this it will be much better imo. thats true, fixed
  2. 01:35:390 (4,5) - (nazi) they aren't exactly symmetrical so it makes 01:36:076 (1) overlap with 01:35:390 (4). yupyup
  3. 01:41:390 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - The pattern is cool. But the fact that you used a constant spacing makes things like 01:42:076 (3,4,6) looks weird imo. I think you can add a little jump to avoid this like: nono adding a jump for the sake of being pretty makes it play bad and is never advised ^^ the pattern is all about flow

  1. 00:02:133 (7) - Leaving this slider as it is isn't the best idea, I think adding more curve to it would make it look better, don't you think?
  2. 00:04:190 (5) - I dislike this shape, I was thinking something like this maybe? It would imo fit better to your style or something.

  3. 00:10:361 (7,8) - These two are almost overlapping and I don't like it that much, moving (8) a bit up would be kinda cool
  4. 00:13:447 (7,8,1) - When playing this diff, this caught my eye a bit. It was kinda awkward to play because I was expecting a ''triangle'' you know?

  3. 00:31:618 (3) - I think moving this slider a bit up would be better because it would add a nice curvy effect to it, it would flow better and play better? Remember to fix the spacing after this if you're applying this!

General stuff:

The SB suddenly appears about half a beat before the map, and looks a bit weird; not sure if it's a glitch or intended. Maybe change when the elements show up from 0:00 to a negative time to compensate?

01:27:847 - I'm a bit surprised you chose to kiai here. It's not particularly intense. It does stand out though, so it's not bad.

Beginner:

00:32:990 (1) - This is a fun, easy rhythm. I like this.
00:54:933 (1) - The same short-slider + long-slider bit repeats 3 times here, as the music builds up. Maybe replace the 3rd iteration with something a bit more interesting/challenging.
01:27:847 (1) - I like kiai sections to stand out from the rest of the map, but this section doesn't really. It starts out a bit busier than usual and quickly falls into a somewhat boring rhythm for the latter half from 01:38:818 (1) to the end. Maybe play around with the beat a bit there?
02:03:504 (1,2,3) - These could be a bit more symmetrical; take 1 and flip + reverse it for 3? The slider after this one is also a bit weird.
02:17:218 (1,2) - Looks a bit weird, these sliders. Meh, not a big deal.

An interesting map. Even for Beginner, I might have mapped this with some modest changes in slider speed to denote different musical sections (0.8x - 1.2x?), but this works well too. I like how the map switches between following the vocals and the drum line, it brings out a lot more variety in the patterns and beats for a 3-minute Easy.

Maybe one idea for improvement in general is to look at where the note density is high and where it's low, because that should match well with when the song is busy and when it's laid back. For example, the simple 2/1 offbeat pattern shows up in a lot of places (such as 00:27:161 (1,2,3,4), where it's not really reflected in the music.

BB's Intermediate:

Big jump in slider speed from Beginner. Hmm. I guess it's okay.

00:11:047 (1) - The slider chain that starts here lasts a really long time. Maybe give them a break or two in the middle by changing a slider to a circle somewhere? It's a bit exhausting and doesn't really fit the flow of the rest of your map.
00:38:476 (1) - How about moving the red spot in this slider onto the central tick? Gives it a really cool feeling during gameplay since there's a beat in the music there both ways.
01:56:647 (3,1) - I think this might work better as slider-slider instead of slider-repeat-circle. The circle falls on a bit of an awkward spot right now, since it's the second half of the phrase.
02:11:733 (1) - This part where the intensity of the map drops off fits really well and is pretty neat.
02:33:333 (1) - This is the climax of the song! I wouldn't mind a few more notes and pattern variety in this kiai section, since there's only 1 pattern before the spinner right now, and the part after the spinner is...a bit bland since it's all 1/1s, considering the creativity in the rest of the map.

A very fun and tricky map, lots of notes in interesting places that don't sound weird.

Advanced:

00:15:161 (4) - I think this feels a bit better moved 1/2 earlier.
00:43:961 (1) - Woot, you do slow these sliders down a bit here, like I suggested on the Beginner comments. Awesome.
00:45:333 (5,6,7) - The 5-6 gap here is a bit awkward, maybe adjust this pattern a bit? Minor thing.
01:03:161 (2) - I think accelerating sliders from 0.75x to 1x would look really cool here, and would prepare the player a bit for the return to normal speed.
01:13:104 (1) - The transition from following background to following vocals is a bit sudden, I would consider replacing 1,2 and 3,4 with sliders to give players a bit more leeway here.
01:24:247 (1) - Interesting.
01:30:590 - 01:36:076 - I feel like your combos here follow a different scheme than the rest of the map; intentional?
01:41:390 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - The circle placements here feel a bit messy and don't look/play that well; maybe experiment with a different placement?

Some of the sliders could be touched-up a little, they're slightly off-symmetrical.

Final comments:

A solid mapset. I'm not too sure about some of the slider designs, but I just don't like red-dot sliders very much, so you can probably ignore me. I think one of the best things the entire mapset shows is how sometimes you can have more fun by having gaps in certain places instead of just a constant beat. Had a blast play testing this, thanks guys. :D

01:27:847 (1) - I like kiai sections to stand out from the rest of the map, but this section doesn't really. It starts out a bit busier than usual and quickly falls into a somewhat boring rhythm for the latter half from 01:38:818 (1) to the end. Maybe play around with the beat a bit there? yea you are right, ive added a few notes at points what increase the flow but keep the same difficulty level
02:03:504 (1,2,3) - These could be a bit more symmetrical; take 1 and flip + reverse it for 3? The slider after this one is also a bit weird. fixed this slider but i think the one after is fine
02:17:218 (1,2) - Looks a bit weird, these sliders. Meh, not a big deal. its a jerislider.....you know that so much ;)

An interesting map. Even for Beginner, I might have mapped this with some modest changes in slider speed to denote different musical sections (0.8x - 1.2x?), but this works well too. I like how the map switches between following the vocals and the drum line, it brings out a lot more variety in the patterns and beats for a 3-minute Easy. yea me and speed changes in a easy wont happen as you know xD and thanks overall o/

Maybe one idea for improvement in general is to look at where the note density is high and where it's low, because that should match well with when the song is busy and when it's laid back. For example, the simple 2/1 offbeat pattern shows up in a lot of places (such as 00:27:161 (1,2,3,4), where it's not really reflected in the music. the song has a offbeat snare and i chose to follow that sometimes, now if i was to have more note density AND follow the offbeat snare it would become more difficult than i wanted, so i had to choose to either go for a more varied beat and keep the difficulty lower, or go for following the same beat with a higher density, i chose the first :p


Advanced:

00:15:161 (4) - I think this feels a bit better moved 1/2 earlier. i see what you mean, but at this point im following the rhythm and to follow the vocal for just this one note kinda breaks the flow of the section and feels abit out of place
00:43:961 (1) - Woot, you do slow these sliders down a bit here, like I suggested on the Beginner comments. Awesome. ofc i do xD
00:45:333 (5,6,7) - The 5-6 gap here is a bit awkward, maybe adjust this pattern a bit? Minor thing. im not really sure what you mean by awkward here
01:03:161 (2) - I think accelerating sliders from 0.75x to 1x would look really cool here, and would prepare the player a bit for the return to normal speed. thats a really good idea, done it
01:13:104 (1) - The transition from following background to following vocals is a bit sudden, I would consider replacing 1,2 and 3,4 with sliders to give players a bit more leeway here. yea i understand your point aaaaand fixed
01:24:247 (1) - Interesting. totally is
01:30:590 - 01:36:076 - I feel like your combos here follow a different scheme than the rest of the map; intentional? nope....thats me making a mistake....xDD thanks
01:41:390 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - The circle placements here feel a bit messy and don't look/play that well; maybe experiment with a different placement? ooook seems nobody gets the flow or reason behind this pattern (every mod complained xD). it has a logical one but the point of a map is so the player "gets" it without having to think ages on it....sooo my attempt here failed, remapped to a better pattern what hopefully flows better to players

Some of the sliders could be touched-up a little, they're slightly off-symmetrical. being honest they aint meant to be 100% .....kinda the point :p

Final comments:

A solid mapset. I'm not too sure about some of the slider designs, but I just don't like red-dot sliders very much, so you can probably ignore me. I think one of the best things the entire mapset shows is how sometimes you can have more fun by having gaps in certain places instead of just a constant beat. Had a blast play testing this, thanks guys. :D

  1. This SB is amazing, but there's one thing that really bugs me. Letterboxes. Man, I'm begging you, disable them! Don't hurt this amazing Sb with those letterboxes.
    Note: probably, you'll have to edit your .osu file to do it. I'm sure that you know how to do it!
    Well, if you don't know how to do it, click here!
    1)Open your .osu file in notepad
    2)Set LetterboxInBreaks to 0 and save changes!
    3)Do the same for all diffs!
  2. Help people to find your map faster, add more tags! You can add techno to tags!
  3. Some players have old and weak PCs, warn them about high SB load. Since SB load is over x5.0 it sounds like a reasonable idea.
[Beginner]
  1. 00:00:076 (1,2) - such pattern will confuse beginners. New players don't know what the flow is, so they just hit the nearest object they can see. So, players will mistakenly hit (2)'s tail. Try to use something more readable here? example
    Note: 00:23:390 (3,1) - the same happens here. Well, it happens a few more times and I'm sure that you can fix it yourself if you agree with me.
  2. 00:32:990 (1,2) - some beginners may have trouble with such patterns, it's something different from regular 1/1 or 2/1 beats. You can make this pattern much more enjoyable if you remove (2) and add one repeat to (1). It'll also fit with vocals better, I think.example
    Note: 00:34:361 (3,4,1,2,3,4) - guess what? That's right, the same.
  3. 00:43:961 (3) - nazi - well, maybe it's just me, but I think that (3) kinda breaks your flow. Personally, I've expected to see it somewhere here o3o/. It seems to be more readable, imo
  4. Well, you could have some fun with slider ticks. You can use custom slidertick volume to poin out some beats in music. For example, you could use custom slidertick sound on some beats like 01:16:876 (1). It's okay as it is, but you can improve your hitsounding a lot!
  5. 02:11:733 (1,2) - [bthere's no point in such jumps, this is the easiest diff! They'd fit better during kiai parts, but here such jumps make no sesnse, imo. Please, consider removing them![/b]

    Great rhythm, cute patterns. The flow could be a bit more understandable )this is the easiest diff, be gentle with beginners!), but I really like it, anyway!

  2. This diff seems to be a bit harder than [Normal], so it's okay to use OD/HP 5 here. They'll fit with your patterns much better and players will like something a bit more challenging here! Try it! Also, it'll make diff settings a bit more balanced
  3. 00:34:361 (3,4,5,6) - well, it's a Normal+ diff, so I think that it's ok to have such patterns. But I still recommend you to consult some BATs about this patern. Probably they may cosider it as something "unreadable".
  4. 00:41:218 (1,2) - nazi - well, you didn't use such overlaps a lot. So, this overlap looks a little bit strange. Probably it's a good idea to replace it with something neater.

  1. You really should try AR9 here, it'll fit better + it makes your mapset more balanced. (AR: 3/6/9)
  2. 01:05:561 - for the hardest diff it feels kinda boring to have so much empty space. You can map this part, so players won't get bored.
  3. 01:41:904 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - not a fan of such patterns, but I really, really like this one! Somehow it makes me happy and I love it! ♥

  1. This SB is amazing, but there's one thing that really bugs me. Letterboxes. Man, I'm begging you, disable them! Don't hurt this amazing Sb with those letterboxes.

  2. Help people to find your map faster, add more tags! You can add techno to tags! its not techno :p
  3. Some players have old and weak PCs, warn them about high SB load. Since SB load is over x5.0 it sounds like a reasonable idea. yea sure
[Beginner]
  1. 00:00:076 (1,2) - such pattern will confuse beginners. New players don't know what the flow is, so they just hit the nearest object they can see. So, players will mistakenly hit (2)'s tail. Try to use something more readable here? example i dont really agree with this, a new player auto goes to the next place what the player is left at. because of the slider shape it auto moves the player away from the next tail and to the start of the slider, keeping it instantly playable for the player, hope you understand what i mean
    Note: 00:23:390 (3,1) - the same happens here. Well, it happens a few more times and I'm sure that you can fix it yourself if you agree with me. by the time the second slider appears the first slider is completely gone and the player has already noticed the note before, getting go in play mode ;)
  2. 00:32:990 (1,2) - some beginners may have trouble with such patterns, it's something different from regular 1/1 or 2/1 beats. You can make this pattern much more enjoyable if you remove (2) and add one repeat to (1). It'll also fit with vocals better, I think.example if i get complained it for it being "too easy" its your fault now muahaha :p
    Note: 00:34:361 (3,4,1,2,3,4) - guess what? That's right, the same. same xD

For example, you could use custom slidertick sound on some beats like 01:16:876 (1). It's okay as it is, but you can improve your hitsounding a lot! slidertick hitsounds will not happen for me sorry
  5. 02:11:733 (1,2) - [bthere's no point in such jumps, this is the easiest diff! They'd fit better during kiai parts, but here such jumps make no sesnse, imo. Please, consider removing them![/b] its 00.15x bigger.......so small! xD fixed you nazi thing (which was only 2 grids difference)

    Great rhythm, cute patterns. The flow could be a bit more understandable )this is the easiest diff, be gentle with beginners!), but I really like it, anyway!

  1. You really should try AR9 here, it'll fit better + it makes your mapset more balanced. (AR: 3/6/9) sorry but you know well im never gonna change that ar to 9, imo it just doesnt fit ^^
  2. 01:05:561 - for the hardest diff it feels kinda boring to have so much empty space. You can map this part, so players won't get bored. aint no music at this point and its actually a tiny break but osu dont allow it to be added, i tried to map something to this point but in my opinion it just doesnt flow good with notes here
  3. 01:41:904 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - not a fan of such patterns, but I really, really like this one! Somehow it makes me happy and I love it! ♥ thanks :p
