  1. 00:31:176 (4,5,6) - Since you added custom soft-finishes to emphasize the piano chords playing, I think it would add more emphasis to the non-chord piano if you add soft-whistles at those parts. In this case, add the soft-whistle at the end of slider 4, the beginning of slider 6, and at the end of slider 6.
  2. 00:39:176 (5) - I believe you missed the custom soft-finish here since you can still hear the piano chords.
  3. 04:50:843 (5) - Hmm...add a note maybe? It follows the vocals/soft piano and it also makes this section of the map to feel fuller.

  • What about reducing volume a little? Hitsounds are too loud imo, -10% for each section should be fine.
    If I were you I'd keep every SB name at x:500 y:10 in order to make the SB more neat.
    I barely noticed that pulse while playing, use this one.

    00:32:510 (1) - This blanket could be better.

    01:18:510 (4) - Why a linear slider? Curve it a little:

    05:57:176 (1,1) - These spinners are totally unnecessary, but I understand why you added them, meh... anyway, just use 1 spinner here (try to start it at 05:57:843) and every white tick reduce volume a bit in order to make a fade out effect.

you can put "pulse.jpg" into the SB folder for organizational purposes; also since there is only one diff you can transfer the sb code directly into the .osu file under [Events] and delete the osb file.

overall the map lacks volume transitions; you can use 60% volume for kiai sections and 50% for other parts to get some variation there

02:50:843 (5) - NC here and remove NC at 02:52:510 (1); then add one at 02:53:843 (4). This way the NC pattern is consistent
05:09:176 (1) - i think a clap sounds better here considering clap patterns were consistent in all other parts (you can just add it)

04:17:176 - hmm why did you skip over this beat? its tempting to hit 04:17:510 (3) too early and quite flow breaking for me. try adding a note here stacked on top of 04:16:843 (2)
04:17:843 (1) - remove this NC and place at 04:18:343 (3), makes the pattern cleaner and easier to read
04:53:176 (6) - use the default finish here like 04:58:510 (6) and 05:01:176 (5)
04:55:843 (5,1) - blanket this properly
05:57:176 - add a triplet here? leads into the spinner nicely

00:49:010 - felt quite empty not clicking here since the vocals gives a dominant feel; try something like this? 01:04:010 - i'd add a note here to cover the heavy drum beat here; you can form a triplet here with 01:03:843 (6,7)

03:18:843 (2) - ^ on end
03:20:510 (1,2) - use a larger spacing here, seems to be accidental

05:51:176 (2,5) - move this a bit right will get more symmetry on this pattern

tbh i would have done alot of rhythms differently, but i had no problems playing it as-is so i guess it works out. Let me know when you are done with the mod

map looks fine to me now, and in case anyone is concerned about the drain time, the one on the website does not include the last spinner; the actual drain time for this map is around 6:05 minutes.

I hate the fact that it must be called a "Marathon" >___>..
  1. 00:07:843 (2,3) - Reversing both of these circles would be better because, if we look at the previous objects, the spacing is around 1,40 & the spacing between (1,2) is very high compared the previous and, it's somewhat surprising since you have to completely go to the opposite side and then go back in the middle. So, by reversing it, it's going to avoid that kind of confusion and also, would make the spacing more consistent.
  2. 01:03:510 (5,6,7,8) - I don't really like how it is sounding right now, of course, you are following the bass, but it's not what it has to be emphasized and it feels unnatural. If we look at those objects, 01:01:843 (1,2,3) - , the next objects should have the same rhythm. So, I suggest you to do this:

    but if you don't want to follow this suggestion, you can also do a compromise (which sounds a lot better since it's combining both ideas):
  3. 01:20:510 (1,2) - Sorry, I don't want to be rude, but the flow and the slider's shape is terrible.. I don't have any suggestions, to be honest, maybe this?
  4. 02:24:176 (7,1) - a bit surprising, but oh well o.o
  5. 03:04:510 (5) - If we follow big downbeats and the song itself, I guess a new combo would be more suitable here.
  6. 03:31:176 (1) - Shouldn't this circle have a louder finish sound? It seems to have this kind of whistle one, compared to 03:09:843 (1) - . If we look at your timing points, the timing section is "S:C2" instead of "S", like on the previous finish. Proof.. Make this timing point "S" and add another with "S:C2" :3
  7. 03:41:176 (6,7,8,9,1) - Aesthetically, I think those objects should be more curved, don't you think?
