Sorry for the delay ~
[General]
- Tick Rate 1 on all diffs? For me tick rate 3 only fits on the last 2 choruses and since this is only 20% of the song it's not a good reason to use tick rate 3 for the whole map. Also tick rate 1 avoids having disappearing ticks on the easier diffs. If not then please use a less harsh tick sound right now all I'm hearing is TICK, TICK, TICK.
[MystykAMV's Caveat]
- Well the tick rate is clearly too high for your 1/1 sliders because the ticks vanish. Tick rate 1 would fix this.
- AR +1 to get this map looking neater.
- OD +1 wouldn't be a bad idea either to balance the difficulty settings.
00:17:451 (1) - Ugly overlap with 00:15:576 (5) - increasing the AR makes this look better but if you could move it so it's aligned with the top of 00:15:576 (5) - that would be better.
01:16:982 (3) - Why not align this with the end of 01:15:576 (2) - looks and plays better for me.
02:43:701 (4) - New combo? Seems to follow the pattern you were using before and the one you use later.
02:48:388 (2,3) - These are ugly. Why not just copy 02:41:826 (2,3) - it makes a better pattern.
02:51:201 (5) - New combo here?
04:02:451 (1) - This spinner just comes out of nowhere then there's a gap after it... I think it would be better to map this with notes or remove it and have the break end on the last chorus. If you're attached to this spinner I suppose you could map before it like the other guest diffs.
04:17:451 (5) - New combo here.
04:23:076 (1) - Remove new combo for consistency?
04:36:201 - Add a break like revolution. Or start 04:39:951 (1) - earlier.
[Bourdon's Unrest]
- Disappearing ticks here too. Tick rate 1 fixes this.
- 00:15:576 (1) - you like this type of slider huh? =P
01:16:044 - Add a note here for the drum?
01:39:951 (1) - Why not use a straight slider here? A copy of 01:40:888 (2) - works nicely and looks like better symettry.
01:42:763 (4) - ^ copy
01:54:951 - Add break.
02:15:576 (4,5,6,7) - Rhythm here is not good. Use the same rhythm as 01:01:044 (5,1,2) - or 01:15:576 (4,1,2) -
02:15:888 (5) - Remove whistle, sounds awful.
02:31:513 (5) - Use a slider here to catch the vocal, at 02:31:826 - sounds and plays better.
02:57:763 (4) - Just copy 02:56:826 (3) - again here? The way this slightly overlaps with 02:58:701 (1) - looks like a failed blanket.
03:09:482 (3) - Move this and make a pattern
something like this?04:04:326 (2) - Add whistle like 04:02:451 (1) -
04:36:044 (3) - This is the only single 1/3 note you use in the map. I'd prefer if it was a slider like the other choruses, but you'd have to change your pattern to do it.
04:36:201 - Add a break like revolution. Or start 04:39:951 (1) - earlier.
04:58:701 (1,2,3) - This is cool.
[RJ's Riot]
- Would be nice if you mapped to the end.
00:13:544 (1) - Clap.
00:28:544 (1) - ^
01:30:107 (4) - Remove this clap. In this combo there are no claps except here so this one ends up sounding random. If not I'd like to see claps added to other parts of this combo.
01:45:107 (5) - ^ Same thing obviously.
02:45:107 (5) - ^
02:54:482 (7) - Remove whistle? It doesn't sound great, clap sounds better.
02:54:951 (1,2,3,4) - Why no claps at the end of the sliders here? It's almost exactly the same as 02:47:451 (1,2,3,4,5) - which has claps.
02:57:763 (4) - Remove whistle? Sounds bad and out of place with the rest of the chorus.
03:00:107 (5) - Remove clap.
03:31:044 (7) - Move to 03:31:357 - You start following the guitar so you should finish following it.
03:46:357 - Add note. Finishes off the guitar rhythm you followed with 03:44:951 (5) - nicely.
04:01:044 (7) - Move to 04:01:357 - same comment I made earlier.
04:06:669 (2) - Clap the start?
04:07:607 (4) - Missing clap? Feels empty.
04:11:357 (5) - Remove the clap.
04:20:732 (6) - Clap makes more sense here.
04:21:201 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Why aren't there claps at the end of these sliders?
04:24:013 (7) - Remove whistle. It's so lonely.
04:26:357 (5) - Remove clap. Same reasoning as the others.
I enjoyed the map but if the copy paste wasn't so obvious this would be even better.
[Revolution]
00:19:794 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I see the pattern but I don't think the jump at 00:20:732 (4,5) - plays well. I think it would be better if you copied 00:17:919 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - and flipped it horizontally to make a nice symmetrical pattern that plays better imo.
00:38:857 (3,4,5,6) - This jump doesn't fit imo. It'd be great if you could reduce the distance here, maybe with a new pattern / arrangement.
00:52:138 (3,4,5,6,7,8) - Rhythm sounds odd. I think it'd be better if you followed the vocal here like the rest of the verse.
01:29:951 (7,8,9,10,11) - Consider adding claps here like you do in the other choruses like 02:48:701 (7,8,9,10,11) -
01:31:826 (5,6,7,8) - ^
01:39:794 (8) - Missing clap?
01:41:826 (3) - Move down 3 squares, looks better in game.
02:15:888 (6) - Remove whistle from the slider body? Sounds odd compared to the rest of this part and so it's consistent with 02:23:857 (7) -
02:39:482 (5,6,7) - Sounds better without the claps here, they sound too loud.
02:43:232 (5) - Clap all this slider?
03:18:388 (3,4) - I think it sounds better without the whistle. Seems to clash with the song here.
03:20:263 (2,3) - ^
03:22:138 (2,3) - ^
03:24:013 (2,3) - ^
03:32:451 (1) - Shouldn't this be 70% volume like 03:17:451 (1) - or should the other one be 60% =S
03:33:388 (3,4) - Same comment about removing the whistle, not so bad with reduced volume though.
03:35:263 (2,3) - ^ You get the idea.
04:12:763 (7) - Remove the clap from the end.
04:13:232 (8) - Remove the whistle.
Only really have hitsound suggestions; this is a good mapset. My only problem is the tick rate really, if anything it definitely needs reducing on the easier diffs. That's all for now.
