Thanks for the look. It's much appreciated!Byakugan249 wrote:
Alright let's see what I can find. Found this through #modreqs
General:
since the offset is at 3 and i mean literally 3, how about setting the lead in to 2500. IMO setting it to 2000 is a bit too sudden. 2 seconds seems like plenty to me. You don't even see the approach circles in Easy at the start.
Easy:
00:02:078 - how about adding a slider here and ending it till 00:03:341 to follow the long pause. remember to remove (1) if you do so, or add a repeat on (4). same reason. I'd rather not have a slider trailing into the next phrase. That'd break the combo flow.
00:08:575 (4) - add a repeat to follow vocals? I wanted this first section to be a little less dense since it's a fairly soft introduction part. I add these rhythms in once the drums and strings kick in.
00:18:861 (4) - move this down because it's touching the score. since this is an easy diff, beginners might mess up because of that. Ah, sure. Forgot my skin has smaller score numbers, hehe.
00:56:574 (3,4) - since (4) is at the red line, beginners will most likely hit a 100 or a 50 if they're not careful. so to make it easier for them, replace (3,4) for a slider. I've been doing the same rhythm over and over again. I'd hope that they've got the rhythm down after a minute of it.
01:00:002 (4,5) - ^ same as above but (5). ^
01:07:717 (4) - unstack this because beginners might not notice that this note is here due to the hitburst covering it. most likely they might hit it too early or late. The hitburst is completely gone before you have to hit the circle again. I find it fair enough for this level of difficulty.
01:18:860 (1,2,3,4) - are you sure that beginners can reach this jump? With that much time between each hit? Yeah, I'm thinking so. Besides, it's the chorus. Needs to be spiced up a little bit.
01:24:431 - add a circle to follow vocals? Nah. That'd lead to a really boring 1/1 string.
01:25:717 (1) - make this a 1/1 slider to follow vocals. ^
01:33:003 - add a circle to follow the drums? ^
01:33:860 - ^ ^
01:50:788 (2,3) - replace this for a slider to make it easier for beginners? The rhythm is given to them with the end of the slider. Should be intuitive enough.
01:54:217 (2,3) - ^ ^
01:57:217 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - the pattern is fine, but where it's at is the problem. since it's at the red line, beginners will have a tough time hitting these notes. I suggest that you replace (2,3,4) for 1 slider and (5,6,7) for another to make it easier, or you can replace some of these notes for sliders. How is an offbeat difficult to hit when I set those rhythms up with the two combos prior? It's following the same instruments as well. and doesn't vary the rhythm itself. It's all 1/1 - just on an off beat that happens to also be the melody line.
01:58:502 (5) - try to move this down a bit. same reason as 00:18:861. Oop, done.
02:03:431 (1) - remove the NC here because the instrumental's still going. Same reasoning as before.
02:04:288 (2) - make this a NC if you follow the suggestion above. this follows vocals.
02:10:717 - same as 01:33:003 Same reasoning as before.
02:14:145 - ^
02:22:288 (3) - to make this easier, how about making this a repeat slider. beginners might hit the next note too early or late. remember to remove the circle if you do this. Just varying things up a bit The rhythm is the same - just the presentation is a little different. It's fine, me thinks.
02:27:860 - same as 01:33:003
02:28:717 - ^
02:30:217 (4,5) - same as 01:50:788 ^
02:54:860 (3,4) - replace this for a slider to follow vocals? I don't want that fast of a rhythm in this map.
03:16:717 - same as 01:33:003
03:20:145 - ^
03:21:431 (2) - remove the repeat and add a 1/1 slider starting at 03:22:288, or extend the slider to where the circle is. remove the circle if you do this. Nah.
03:31:717 (1) - how about making this a curved slider so that it'd form a blanket sort of around (2) I did that initially. I didn't like the way it flowed.
03:55:931 (2,3) - same as 01:50:788
03:59:360 (2,3) - ^
04:02:360 (2,3,4) - ^
04:05:788 (2,3,4,5,6) - same as 01:57:217
04:07:074 - add a circle to follow the guitar? but that's if you ignore the suggestion above Mm, it'd break the feeling of following the strings if I did that.
04:09:645 (2,3,4,5,6) - same as 01:57:217
04:13:074 (2,3,4,5,6) - ^
Phew, that was a doozy. Thanks for the suggestions and good spots on the score overlaps.
AgneSushi:
00:02:788 (6) - if you want to keep the consistency in whistles, add a whistle at the end and remove it at the beginning. i find it odd that it's there. They felt fairly consistent to me, if a bit too often for my taste..
00:05:788 (3) - remove the whistles at the beginning and at the end. that ruins the consistency you're following.
00:09:645 (4) - same as 00:02:788
00:17:145 (1) - ooh uhh can you make this wave slider smoother? i don't like the look of this wave slider. Argh, I suck at these. Let's hope this change is for the better, heh.
02:12:645 - add a circle to follow vocals? Nah. Kind of kills the strong 1/1 vibe coming from this part.
02:47:788 (4) - this doesn't follow vocals accurately. instead move the slider 1 tick up and end it till 02:48:860. also add a circle at 02:47:788. this should follow vocals accurately. It's all for the sake of the slider art!
02:56:145 - add a circle to follow the drums? Maybe if there was a note at 02:52:717 -
03:14:574 (2) - same as 00:18:861 but this is touching the accuracy. this might get in the way for other players. Actually, no it isn't.
03:38:574 (1,2) - switch hitsounds for these 2 sliders. the whistle should be at the end and the clap at the beginning to keep the consistency from (3) at the previous combo. Um, but it is consistent with that previous slider. It even ends with the soft finish.
03:48:860 (1) - same as 01:18:860 Um, there's plenty of time there. I'm sure it'll be fine.
03:54:860 (1) - ooh make this wave slider smoother. i don't like the look of this slider. Attempt #2
I lol'd at the last green line
This is the best I can do. GL
