Hello~ Fulfilling a promise! (#modreq)
General:• Insane has a later Audio Lead-in, since they all start at the same time, they should all be the same. Except for Normal (look bellow).
Sekai's Easy:• 00:18:324 (2) - This would fit better in an easy and feel less awkward if it was extended to the next white tick (00:18:684)
• 00:19:402 (1) - Kick sliders in an Easy difficulty is not a very good idea. It's hard to tell where it ends, especially for easy players. Also, this part of the song seems very energetic and this slider just doesn't seem like the most fitting way to map it.
• 00:36:653 (4) - The huge space between this note and the next one just seem awkward. I think it would be best if you simply changed this into a slider that expands from 00:36:653 to 00:37:372.
• 01:16:905 (3) - Replace the whistle on this for a finish, please. Just so you can be consistent with 01:14:030 (3).
• 01:21:217 (1,2,3,4,5) - Re-map this part. Mainly because it does not match the music in the slightest bit. Also, not is (5) a kick slider, but it's a dangerously short one so the beginner player won't see the extra repeats in time.
Ignacio's Normal:Since there is no mapping for the first part of the song, there is no need for the long audio lead in. Remove it please.
• 00:33:059 (2) - Stacking under a slider like this isn't really a bright idea, only because it is may be too hard for this difficulty level.
• 00:38:091 (1) - A lot of players would be combo breaking on this slider since it comes so soon after a spinner and it does not give players an opportunity to re-adjust their arm.
• 00:47:794 (3) - This slider is really weird on the timeline, it comes a tad late. Please move it to the previous red tick
like this.• 01:19:600 (2) - This slow down will really screw up some players because of how unexpected it is.
Dax's Hard:• 00:35:216 (1) - A finish here would fit rather well.
• 01:08:279 (1) - Remove the new combo on this note to stay consistent with 00:56:779 (5).
• 01:18:342 (1,2,3) - Yeah, change this to 0.75x. The transition from normal to half speed it super weird.
Insane:• 00:06:943 (5,6,7) - These notes should be a little closer, jumps feel weird when they're slowed down.
• 00:42:583 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -This seems to be one big confusing mess. It will cause the majority of players to break their combos. Please re-arrange this pattern into something less frustrating and readable.
The only major problem I have with this difficulty is the constant use of patterns like
this. Please avoid using patterns like this very often in the future, for they play pretty poorly.
Verdi's Taiko Oni:• The difficulty settings should be nicely lined up like
this in every Taiko difficulty.
[Overall]
Pretty nice map. Even though I think that this map could probably go for a bubble. I won't bubble it at the moment. Mainly because I believe that there is still space for improvement. I will re-check this later on, when I'm satisfied with the amount of mods you have.
