That could end up being tricky to fix later, so I fixed it now (sort of). I also fixed a few other issues such as the hole you can see in the side view render.

Are you using the envelopes? I never got the hang of those things, so i usually just manually set the weights. It's not as hard as it sounds. lol. I've also never used CAT though. Good luck!Loginer wrote:
If anyone's wondering why I'm still doing these little tweaks, it's because skinning Pippi is harder than I thought, if only because CAT is forcing me to use Skin instead of Physique. D:
Anyway, as soon as I wrap my head around this modifier, I'll post a few new pics and attempt to create a neat wallpaper. If you really want to see Pippi fight a refrigerator while kicking a hamster with her heels or something equally retarded, post your request here.
Do it.JarJarJacob wrote:

Isn't there another rule saying you can't request that? I thought rule 35 was that if you can't find it you have to make your ownneo@lex wrote:

I would settle for punching air in time with the notes. Serious punching. Jumping around the screen 'punching a swarm of flies to death' punching.Loginer wrote:
They just waved their arms from side to side, IIRC. Either way, there's not much of a discussion to derail in here. We should definitely focus on the dancing, and try to develop a unique set of dance moves rather than ripping everything straight out of Ouendan/EBA.
That'd be neat. She could be programmed to punch in the direction of the hitcircles as they are hit.JarJarJacob wrote:

Fuck yes, Running in the 90s Easy will be AWESOME.JarJarJacob wrote:
So, sliders should be punching to the ticks?LuigiHann wrote:

I'm up for an exaggerated karate dance style. Mostly punching, but in different styles.Loginer wrote:
While punching the hitcircles would be neat, that alone would get repetitive after a while, and I'm not sure how feasible it would be to code that. Now, could we please try to come up with some sort of "moveset" instead of focusing on how awesome punching things would be? :\
Just 2 dance styles would be enough, 1 for each soundset. In the situation that a map switches soundsets several times, there would be a 'Don't inherit dance style' check box, in case you don't want pippi to switch from 'slow and sad' to 'bouncing up and down like a tween on unprescribed Ritalin' on the spot.awp wrote:
Having different sets of styles would almost be a must, I would think. You don't want her to be bouncing up and down like a tween on unprescribed Ritalin when the song is slow and sad.
How about putting her in osu!, rather than Pokémon Stadium? That would be brilliant!kideddie1501 wrote:
hmm...i get the feeling Pippi might clash with some skins and their color scheme....color customizable Pippi?

It's not hard at all, it's not even on the priority list. It's as simple as editing a few .png files you'll find right next to the .x file, although I should probably write these things down somewhere instead of expecting people to be psychic.LuigiHann wrote:
She only has one color, it shouldn't be too hard to make that adjustable. But I'd call that a pretty low priority relative to, you know, putting her in the game and having it work.
Not very much.kideddie1501 wrote:

You should be thanking Sarumaru (the artist of that picture) - he's the one that bothered me enough to crop and format it correctly.kideddie1501 wrote:

i just realized how wierd the Pippi model's chest looks...either she has cans or not.
Oh yeah. You can also confirm this in Multiplayer: In EBA, I think, the characters will always dance based on the difficulty, so if you choose a Diva to play as and play Medium, she'll do the male version of the dance. In Ouendan 2, the characters will always do their gender's dance.soradg123 wrote:

Assuming he's the dude in your avatar, he looks sly, but the use of pink highlights/eyes also makes him look "fashionable" and "fabulous". Hmm.Loofah wrote:
so does anyone want to make suggestions as to the name/design of th character I'm modeling?
I'm actually starting to collect the best ones I can find, to put into a little gallery. It will happen soon.Gabi wrote:

I say make all the "male mascots" you want. For I am making a male character for fanfic purposes that is totally different from the "male mascots" so far. Basically, he's a guy chasing after peppy. Tall blond with blue eyes, bit of a nerd in denial. Hates Digimon songs without even listening to them just because they're Digimon, thinks Pokemon is for kids, and wonders why Pippi wastes so much time cheering on people in a game where you click circles. He then decides to try it to impress her for his own selfish, perverted reasons. Armed with his pink t-shirt, blue jeans, Tigers cap, and a stylus, he dives in... and gets fascinated. Oh, and he has a backpack full of books because he was going to study.

*ahem* The model's coming along nicely. Also, nice fanart.
I was thinking of doing the same, but my library is tiny (and half of it's my/Sarumaru's stuff anyhow). We'll have to collaborate some time.LuigiHann wrote:

http://up.ppy.sh/files/osu-pippi.rar Here's a selection of fanarts. I tried to keep it to one per artist for the time being, mostly to keep it from being Saru-centric. I'd love to see some of the Saru stuff you have, though, to make sure that the best Saru pic gets into the gallery.awp wrote:
