also i'd set the 'language' on the site to be "instrumental" since it fits within that category more
just some more after researching, might be best to add: 'bonus track' since this was a bonus track in the album it was featured in
ok so personally I think the artist box should be changed to the original artist of the song, MONACA. for one, I think having the artist who did the edit of the song be in the artist box to where the original artist should be accredited for is kinda odd to begin with, since the person who did the edit didn't actually make the original song to begin with. secondly, the RC allows this even though the original soundcloud metadata doesn't actually support this change.
"For Remixes/Covers, the original artist may be used in the artist field, as long as the title field is modified to clearly show that the song is remixed. This marker should all be in parentheses and contain the Remix/Cover artist followed by descriptor."
so if this is allowed then I think it'd be rather good to have the original artist in the artist box.
00:01:784 (1784|2) - Hard through Insane, I think this sounds a bit better 1/16th up more imo. sounds a bit more correct than where it currently is.
01:24:783 (84783|2,85641|2,86498|2,87355|2,88212|2,89069|2,89926|2,90783|2) - Insane to Top Diff
perhaps this is just me but I feel like this would sound better on the 1/16th tick instead 01:24:793 - ? from just listening at 25%, it sounds a lot more crisp and on the tick than where it is currently from just how I hear it anyways.
hate to be like this but i honestly think you need a redo on the hitsounding. main reasoning for this is that there's a lot of things I think could be emphasized that have importance tied to them but you don't emphasize them at all which I think could be a problem going to rank this. not to mention how you don't use the W hitsound at all with the custom hitsounds when it's kinda an unspoken rule to at least utilize all three of your hitsounds to an extent.
i think what bothers me at least is how things like drum hits on 1/1 ticks could be emphasized but aren't for some reason which is honestly confusing considering how prominent they are. or even the very prominent vocal samples such as 01:40:197 - where it feels like there could be something definitely here but it just sticks out pretty garishly since it's not hitsounded.
im not one to be some sort of 'hitsounding police' or whatever but i think for rank you'll have some complications for the reasons stated above. best way to go about this i think is to make the time to hitsound the things needed such as drum hits and whatnot where u can utilize the 'W' hitsound, or you can probably go to hitsound queue and ask there. it'd just be hard going forward with this set with this kind of hitsounding :/
ugh hate to be like this but your mp3 is too high quality LOL. https://puu.sh/GFVuB/6f308e0fac.png
it needs to be under 192KBPS in order for it to be ranked, just use a mp3 decompresser to make it go to 192KBPS and you should be good from there.
however, it might make the map a bit offsync with the song because of the change so just make sure it's in sync when u do it in the future.
also dont do this until you get to all my mods, it might mess up some of the timestamps and that could be problematic so make sure this is done last pls
Hard - Adult Mode is amazing btw, pretty damn flawless diffs. there's hardly anything for me to mod on them and if i did, a lot of it would be pretty arbitrary and nothing really needed. this is great, love it!
since the MJH's normal diff was added, i would suggest trying to format your diffs like this:
Normal - Hard - Insane - Adult Mode
so not only you can get rid of the two 'Normal' diff names that you current have but to create a bit more leniency for your diffs, considering that I think some may perceive your diffs a bit harder than what the current diff name shows. doing this tho imo would grant you a lot of leniency into not changing a lot of the concepts you have now which I think is definitely important in the grand scheme of things.
btw this isn't the only way you should format the diffs either, I just felt like this was a good alternative considering how you have two Normals at the moment, which is a bit odd to have since it's not a big set.
since it's separated by different mapper, could it be a problem if it has duplicated diff?
if it's fine, both normals applying same guideline or just easier one only?
I added a GD to avoid guideline warnings for normal diff. I'll fix the diff names if both normals should have applied same normal guideline cuz it's meaningless.
yes, if you have the diff names labeled as 'Normal' then it'll need to follow Normal guidelines/rules
you also might want to rearrange ODs/HPs with accordance with spread ever since you added the new Normal diff.
