Late reply but... Make sure you are online when you're playing. I noticed, at least for me, that if Osu! can't submit your play you have to play the map again being online to get the achievement, or not close Osu! until it's submitted. I could still see my old play, but it didn't show up on the beatmap website.

If that doesn't work, it's weird...
