im putting this in general all because I'm sure this will be, or is already, pointed out a lot by people so
the sudden minimalistic charting style reminds me of BMS overjoy(^^) ★★4 'angel dust' or '猫蟹丸 - 日溜りの街-あ!'(atm the only two BMS chart I can remember at the top of my head that has quirky stuff like this)
to begin with I think 00:50:908 - is fine and you explained yourself pretty clear #4738574/12583464 and I agree with it (oh two more examples too)
but imo, i think those charts in particular had the option of doing it because overjoy(^^) is ridiculously hard to begin with, so the sudden contrast to be impactful does work in their favour.
and I think it also just so happens to be a 'break' section in disguise but that's just my opinion
now does it work with your chart? maybe. but personally I could play the whole chart with ease because like this is technically an 'insane' 4K diff and not like, idk, what would 4K of BMS (^^) be equivalent of?
therefore the 'contrast' that was meant to be impactful felt more like a sudden big inconsistency which I think a lot of people is trying to say. Maybe it would work with the less experienced players, but definitely not as well with the better players
but I like quirky things and had a bit of experience with BMS so I understood where the intention was coming from and don't really have an issue with the patterning.
now with this in mind, while I think 00:50:908 - is fine.
I think 00:14:452 - is not fine. Or barely ok
like I would say 00:15:971 (15971|1,16066|1,16161|1,16351|2,16446|2,16541|2,16636|2) - on top diff is probably the hardest pattern to hit among the rest of the chart while still being a build up section. (the music isn't like the 'peak' unlike 00:50:908 - )
I'm not really that confident with my suggestion as well, but I'd suggest charting in the piano as well to compromise for the pattern consistency for reason I've explained above.
for the top diff
You could keep the 00:15:971 (15971|1,16066|1,16161|1,16351|2,16446|2,16541|2,16636|2) - mini jack patterns but maybe try to nerf them a bit I would say 3 notes jackhammer could be the max imo.
And keep them consistent at areas afterwards at places like 00:17:680 - & 00:22:047 - etc
for the lower diffs, I think it's fine since the easy patterning doesn't stick out too weirdly as much. Jut that I would chart in 00:17:775 - a note, following what you did at 00:14:737 -
00:50:908 - quote ^ "it also just so happens to be a 'break' section"
Actually right, one of the most huge reason on bms or etc. I forgot to write on #4738574/12583369 just adding one more.
On rhythm game, enjoying music is one of the important points too imo. Mainly we can simulating playing music by hitting(charting or else) notes on rhythm games but not only simulating, in this case also giving experience about enjoying new music for players few moments.
About 00:15:971 (15971|1,16066|1,16161|1,16351|2,16446|2,16541|2,16636|2)
Gekkou diff
Right one is old one.
00:16:351 - Separated by minijack

00:17:680 - Added notes
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/19456843/d6e7
00:22:047 - I'm not confident changing this part(or adding notes) like 00:15:971 since this part is repeating same as 00:08:376 music and pattern both. It'll be better keeping original style(repeating) imo. -> can be re-mapped since #4738570/12603930
-> remapped 00:23:566 ~ 00:25:845 instead
#4738570/12614224
It'll be all go same on 00:17:680 by adding notes using same rhythm(or nerfed on normal diff I guess) with Gekkou diff.
