Finisher mod:
i think you could emphasize these sounds by finisher:
00:00:258 - 00:07:369 - 00:10:924 - 00:12:702 - 00:28:702 - 00:42:924 - 00:50:035 - 00:57:146 - 01:00:702 - 01:04:257 - 01:07:813 - 01:09:591 - 01:27:369 - 01:32:702 - 01:36:257 - 01:40:702 - 01:46:924 - 01:50:480 - 01:52:257 - 01:57:591 -
00:42:924 (189) - 00:50:035 (225) - 01:57:591 (17) - added only these. since most of the mapping is done to the vocals instead of drums, and i prefer to reserve the finishers for parts that either highlight the vocals like 00:53:591 (244) - or have a distinctly different drum sound like 00:03:146 (15,16) - . i think not putting finishers on every cymbal it keeps the chorus parts a bit more readable too
I rarely pitch mod but consider making 00:42:924, 01:25:591 k
s instead. The stream right before these notes have a bunch of d
s, but the sounds at 00:42:924, 01:25:591 is clearly distinct from the notes before which are usually drums. So changing colors here could contrast these notes better compared to the rest of the stream.
added k on 00:42:924 (192) - initially wanted to keep 01:25:591 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - all dons since they all sound similar drum/vocal wise and builds up to the cymbal at 01:26:924 (7) - better. Although 01:25:591 (1) - is different from the drums in the stream (vocal wise), i feel like don fits better in context with the part after and give a better sense of song progression
When you resnapped, a few sections came out to have two notes mapped on the same tick.
00:43:913 (202) -
00:45:691 (212) -
00:47:472 (221) -
00:49:250 (232) -
00:51:028 (240) -
