00:05:760 (4) - Replacing all these sliders with circles gives much more enjoyable gameplay imo
00:08:248 (4,5,1) - I know the gap between (4,5) and (5,1) is similar, but you should definitely do something different with 00:09:025 (1) - because the sound is so different. For instance, you could stack 00:08:714 (5,1) -
I really like that you break the flow for the guitar sound with this 00:09:025 (1), so I think you should do the same here 00:13:999 (1) by rotating it 75 degrees like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/16514176/ccea
placed 00:13:999 (1) to the right of 5, ctrl+j'd 00:14:931 (2,3,4,5) in favor of that change
ctrl+g'ing 00:43:931 (1) makes the spacing from the previous object too large compared to the other instances of that same slider, though
00:43:931 (1) - If it makes spacing too large, I would move the slider closer then, in my opinion it should really be reversed
00:19:284 (1) - spacing is rather large and an awkward angle to aim at. I'd slightly unstack it on 00:18:662 (1) - (or fully stack it as you did here 00:39:263 (1) - ) or at least put it at a less downward position.
00:19:284 (1) - would put a soft finish here, this definitely needs something to emphasize the beginning of a new section
a soft finish seemed too much at first in 00:19:284 (1) but lowering the hs volume to 30% made it fit better
as for 00:39:263 (1), drum finish ended up providing this emphasis better considering the next section is quieter
00:20:376 (6,7) - I don't like how there's spacing buildup here: 00:19:440 (2,3,4,5) but it's thrown out in favor of having a 'triangle' pattern of circles. I would rearrange this in a different way where 3rd slider and circle can benefit from more spacing.
https://prnt.sc/11dx8o6 Also, the way the 00:20:688 (7) is just unpleasing and should be straight to keep up with the rest imo. Consider rearranging!
i could just do what the rest of the map is doing in 00:24:903 (1,2,3,4), 00:29:897 (1,2,3,4), 00:34:892 (1,2,3,4) (and reversing the 3rd slider like in 00:59:336 (2,3,4,5,6)) so it ends up being more consistent so i did that
00:20:688 (7) - Maybe move this to around x:328 y:85 in order to keep with the pattern of 00:19:284 (1,2,3,4,5) - then stack 00:20:844 (1) - to the (7).
wanted 00:19:752 (3,5,7) 's pattern to be a triangle + these 00:20:844 (1,2,3) throughout the map are always a little spaced for emphasis ( 00:25:685 (4,1) , 00:35:674 (4,1) )
i reserved stacks for quiet sounds and small pauses in the music, and that certain pattern being stacked kinda breaks consistency on the rest of the kiai
00:20:844 (1,2,3,1) - I feel like this is a bit too hard for the newer players that this maps' difficulty is gearing towards.
could it be due to readability? this difficulty acts up more like a light insane due to the song not supporting more complex rhythms, but the star rating doesn't represent that well enough
about the pattern, if i were to change it i'd scale it out a bit so not all sliderends fall into the same spot or i'd make the sliders less curved but idk really if its enough for changing it entirely
00:20:844 (1,2,3) - this pattern here is ok in terms of hitsounds (normal slider slide works fine for the held note), but i do feel like it could use some normal whistles on the head to give it a bit more oomf yknow
00:22:874 (4) - 00:27:868 (4) - imo these dont deserve to be slowed down, they are the same instrument as the faster sliders, and you use the slow slider velocity for a different sound, so its mkaing a connection that isnt ther ein the music
the note the instrument i'm following here is 1/4th beat longer than the other instances where it was mapped, so i made that contrast more apparent by slowing it down (and by using a red anchor slider)
don't see that choice being too much of an issue, especially since scaling that slider to fit in 0,75x sv looks kinda ugly https://puu.sh/HRrnl/4f0a9f8ee1.png
00:23:342 (5) - whistle here? this note here sounds similar to 00:22:405 (2,4) - and you both covered those with whistles
00:23:810 (1) - Maybe ctrl+g this slider to distinguish the rhythm more from 00:23:342 (5) -
yea
i assume that the guitar sound in 00:22:249 (1,2,3,4,5) is more noticeable than the synth piano so i made some overall changes there to maintain circular flow while still making those two instruments distinct
00:23:810 (1,2,3) - I sort of disagree with this suggestion - I'd ctrl-g these. reason being I just really don't like the super low spacing while the pitch stays the same so the movement feels sort of unintuitive. I know this is canon throughout the kiai of the map but I think it would be a nice touch having a counterclockwise flow following clockwise flow at 00:22:405 (2,3,4,5) -
now this one 00:33:800 (1,2,3) - is okay as it is because the gimmick is slightly different. just would increase the distance away from 00:33:331 (5) - a bit more
00:24:434 (3) - This sound is the same as 00:24:903 (1,2,3,4) and 00:19:440 (2,3,4,5,6,7) so it should be kept consistent. Unless you wanted to do something different in that part and if that's the case, you should adjust 00:24:903 (1,2,3,4) accordingly.
it feels unnatural to replace 00:24:434 (3) since that combo already has emphasis on the clickable parts
00:24:903 (1,2,3,4) was meant to mimic 00:19:440 (2,3,4,5) -- the added spacing and new combo signals that it's going to be the same
00:25:839 (1,2,3) - these are visually closer compared to things before it like 00:23:810 (1,2,3) try spacing it out a bit more.
00:25:839 (1,2,3) - i think you should arrange this in some sort of triangular shape like the others. the 3 is pretty unbalanced in the pattern
00:33:800 (1,2,3) - 00:34:424 (3) is currently unreadable. Maybe space out the patterns more?
00:33:800 (1,2,3) - don't really get why you suddenly changed the pattern here? should probably keep it consistent with your previous one if you that was your intention 00:23:810 (1,2,3) -
yea, i got a little carried away with these patterns
modified 00:34:892 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1) to account for it
00:42:841 (3,5) - visual spacing between these are much different from 00:40:352 (3,5) even though the music sounds the same in both parts. i would just move 00:43:619 (5) closer to 00:42:841 (3)
00:49:843 (2,4) - this is a tiny bit closer than the other patterns like this. it makes it slightly overlap. just move it away from 00:49:843 (2) by like a few pixels
doing that would break the momentum 00:58:868 (3,4) - has to the next combo, and to reapply that movement would imply modifying the whole ending's positions
will consider since the ending might end up looking different
00:59:648 (3) - I'd consider moving this down a bit and making 00:59:180 (1,3,5) - a smaller triangle that way it doesn't look too overlapped with the other sliders
01:02:613 (3,4,5) - i recommend spacing these all out a little bit from each other since they are slightly overlapping
01:03:706 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - I really like the lower sv in this part to reflect the music becoming more silent, good job!
01:03:706 (1) - i recommend spacing this out more from 01:03:238 (5) because it looks very similar to a 1/4 rhythm
01:04:799 (5,6,1,2,3) - i think spacing should be getting smaller over time instead of bigger since the music fades out more and more.
01:04:799 (5) - if you want to keep your nc patterning similar to how it was in the kiai you could nc this? it's similar to this pattern 01:04:799 (5) -
01:05:735 (1,2,3) - Audio get's too quiet here compared to the objects being played. Consider amplifying the audio file in order to keep up. You can use software such as Audacity to easily amplify the part that you'd want.
01:05:735 (1,2,3) - if you wanna do some cool emphasis stuff you could make this into 3 circles instead, less objects when music is less dense
i don't think the music gets quiet enough for these to be 3 circles, even on low volume that same 01:05:735 (1,2) sound is audible
the spacing and sv changes are enough to represent that imo
01:05:737 (1,2,3) - This part sounds loud imo, why you don't use a spinner like the others diffs?
i don't think this little space is worth of a spinner, especially since it's the top diff
that + i positioned 01:06:672 (3) exactly where it's implied there's gonna be the third note in that same chain that happened in all the other instances of the same sound, so i thought that would be cool
hearing this again though, it is indeed pretty loud so i lowered the volume of default hs and added them as custom samples
