Found 【sakuraburst】through Shiirn's mapset, thought it'd be nice to map something different for a change.
The melody and samples revolve around Kingdom Hearts II just for your info.


Fine details of the SVs represent different elements of the track, every SV serves a sole purpose, this is not a note-oriented map, this is an SV-oriented map.

I've yet to play the chart, but I'll do it tomorrow prob. For now I'm gonna asses what I think could be changed/improved etc based on theoretical knowledge.

I'll be giving more of general suggestions for certain spots and things similar if stated so, so look for other similar things in the rest of the map when mentioned

00:38:746 (38746|0,38746|3) - Are you sure about those being 3/16 instead of 1/4?
01:35:216 (95216|2,95216|0,95216|3,95216|1) - Not sure about those 1/8 LNs, I personally think it's pretty cruel to put those after stutter SV since 1/8 is already really hard to time. I would suggest extending to 1/4 and maybe change the stutter a bit if you want to keep the visual effect of LNs being real short. Same suggestion applies to every other part like this (other example would be 03:05:569 (185569|2,185569|3,185569|0,185569|1) - not gonna list all of them tho)
03:09:452 - This is pretty much the hardest burst to time (it occurs twice unless I missed one) and I think that the stutter on it, while of course justified with the song, could be just toned down a little. So basically just lower the values so it's not a total pain in the ass to read, feels like a decent diff spike reading and timing wise while it doesn't really feel like it should be. Same for 05:30:628 -
04:18:981 - The pretty much same part of the song at 01:57:805 - also started on right hand and since the drops utilize symmetry between sections I think that this section could be mirrored (as in the same thing but starting on left hand instead of on right) to give it symmetry and not have almost the same thing again.

when you mod a nearly 6 min SV heavy map and only suggest 4 things xd

00:38:746 (38746|0,38746|3) - Are you sure about those being 3/16 instead of 1/4? mapped this map with a randomness aspect in mind (the 2nd half is full of SVs that completely rely on random values/SV placements while maintaining the sightreadability for example, so this is one of the first random parts)

Was a bit reluctant to use random LN lengths so i tested them to make sure that they are 300g-able so i kept round 1/8 - 1/4


01:35:216 (95216|2,95216|0,95216|3,95216|1) - Not sure about those 1/8 LNs, I personally think it's pretty cruel to put those after stutter SV since 1/8 is already really hard to time. ok since nobody has modded this for 2 weeks since my first and only mod I assume that everyone is happy with it, so I'll just look at it again in icon context

I do hear (or rather barely hear xd) some pretty inaudible hitsounds in the calm not buildup parts, they are barely hearable and I would want you to raise the volume of those just to be safe. I'll point out some examples:
03:33:981 (213981|0,214158|1,214334|2,214511|0,214687|3) -
00:53:981 (53981|0) -
01:12:805 (72805|0,72981|1,73158|2,73334|0,73511|2) -

01:54:981 - 02:14:746 - Actually imo this jumptrill could be longer, since the buildup jumptrill is 5 measures long this could be at least a measure long and then turn into the single trill so you actually notice the jumptrill instead of there being just 4 jumps and trill, that doesn't feel like a proper gradient there

03:33:805 - not sure why those lag SVs are there actually, imo the song doesn't hint at there being lag worthy parts

98388__the-baron__breath-02 has about 330 ms of blank space at the end

269570__vonora__cuckoo-the-nightingale-duet has about 40 ms of delay
276469__djmangamez__you-don-t-know-what-you-have-done has about 300 ms of blank space at the end and 500 ms delay
LR_HiHat Normal - L has about 200 ms of blank space at the end
LR_HiHat Normal - R has about 200 ms of blank space at the end
LR_Snare Wet Echoing Hollow has about 2,5s of blank space at the end

upped all of them, changed the section @ 03:36:628 (216628|2) - to be 20% volume as i think it's a bit too loud

The shift in the pattern is mapped to "yours and mine" (specifically ignoring "and")

lol fixed everything, cropped some a bit less since there are still a bit of volume left in the .wav, just to make sure that the track doesn't cut too weirdly, forgot which i cut less soz, so i can't list them
