  2. Audio Lead-in +500 please. Current audio lead-in is too fast, and quite surprising to player.

  1. 00:09:091 (1) - I think it will be more consistant if you remove new combo here.
  2. 00:23:815 (2) - Remove whistle at this slider end. Doesn't follow anything at the back and breaking your whistle consistencies.
  3. 00:25:288 (1,3) - I think it's good to keep whistle consistencies here. Try to add whistle at 1 end and 3 start.
  4. 00:27:496 (4) - I don't think lowering whistle sound here is good. The music volume is not down here. Better to turn back the volume to 70% here.
  5. 00:35:595 (4) - I think whistle at this slider end should be on slider start. 00:34:490 (1,2,3,4) - sounds empty and inconsistant without whistle.
  6. 00:39:460 & 00:39:644- What's the purpose of timing point here? I don't think you need to lower volume of clap here. If you want to lower clap volume the timing position is wrong too, because timing point 00:39:644 should be on 00:39:736-.
  7. 00:42:220- Same, no need to turn down volume here.

  2. Quite good, but Sekai, you use 1/1 too much. Try to adding more variation in the rythim next time you map a song.

  1. 00:10:564 (1) - For combo consistencies, i suggest you to remove new combo here.
  2. 00:23:631 (4) - This whistle break the consistencies of your whistle rythim. Just remove whistle here.
  3. 00:23:815 (5) - No need to turn down volume of whistle at this slider start. If you want to turn down volume, don't turn down it to 40%, it's too low. Turn down by 10% is more good.
  4. 00:35:595 (6) - Clap at this slider start iis very awkward to hear and breaking consistencies of your clap rythim. Remove it please.

Recommendations:

  1. Custom combo colours
    Custom combo colours do not really matter to taiko as they will be overwritten in actual gameplay. The case is the same with combo numbering, but you may wish to use the numbering to mark out red/blue notes visually within edit mode (assuming no custom colours have been set), this would make modding for other people easier and could make mapping easier:

I was asked to mod the taiko...

[Rika's Taiko]

  1. General Recommendation: Use Clap instead of Whistle to make a Katsu so that it is easier to identify in the editor. Also, using combo colours like sp3 suggestion makes taikos 100% easier to mod.
  2. Remember that you don't want your main focus to the the vocals in taiko :<. It's okay to follow it sometimes (during big accents or something) but don't let it be the only thing your map is trying to follow.
  3. 00:00:993 (5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - Use dkkdkkd to emphasize the bass hit on the drums
  4. 00:06:515 (38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56) - This section is very undermapped especially compared to how you started off. Map more in here, and try to follow the drums more than the vocals (in general vocal mapping in taiko is bad unless you know what you are doing).
  5. 00:15:349 (78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90) - This is all mapped to the vocals... Please try to follow the drums instead.
  6. 00:18:662 (96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108) - ^
  7. 00:32:650 (171,172,173,174,175,176) - ^
  8. 01:11:300 (398,399,400,401,402) - ^
  9. 01:10:196 - For Consistency, follow 00:56:208 instead of following vocals.

  1. 00:30:451 (2) - Add a whistle here at slider start to follow up your previous whistle rythim?
  2. 00:31:187 (1) - I fell you don't need to reduce the volume of this finish in here. Just remove the timing section that reduce the volume of the finish sounds.
  3. 00:33:396 (5) - You should add a finish here at this slider end to follow up finish at 00:31:187 (1) -
  4. 00:40:022 (1) - Add a whistle here too at the slider end. Not consistant for your whistle rythim.
  5. 00:48:120 (1,2) - Increase both of this circle volume by 10% please. It's too low imo. So 1 will have 40% volume and 2 will have 50% volume.
Sekai's Normal
  1. I think overal volume in this diff is very low. Please add another 10%-20% to the overal volume.
  2. 00:26:770 (1) - What's the point of new combo here? Doesn't neccesary and ruin your combo consistencies. Just remove the new combo.
  3. 00:35:605 (1) - I don't think finish2 is fit here. Sounds awkward to me since in your previous and next section, you just use defaut finish sounds. So please change this finish sounds into the default one.
  4. 00:38:549 (4) - It would be good too if you add another default soft finish at this circle to make hitsounds more consistant.
  5. 00:41:126 (2) - It would be good if you add default finish sounds at this slider end since it follow up previous finish rythim nicely.
  6. 00:46:647 (3,1) - Still, it's sounds weird for me. And i'm suprised that this slider 00:46:647 (3) - has more repeat than other 1/2 repeat slider. It can surprised most of normal player.
