Taiko 2v2 Converted Maps Tourney
The Taiko 2v2 Converted Maps Tourney (TCT) was a double-elimination 2v2 osu!taiko tournament hosted by Aisha. The tournament featured a variety of maps converted from the osu! game mode in its mappools. It was the first instalment of the Taiko Convert Tournament.

Ruleset
General rules
- There can't be two players having more than 10,500 pp each in the same team.
- The maximum team size is 2 players, meaning there will be no backup or replacement.
- The scoring system used will be Score V2.
- Teams will be seeded by performance points (pp) first and after that will be put into 8 groups of 4, and then top 16 teams will then proceed to the Group Stage with the top 2 teams per each group proceeding to the Knockout Stage.
- The Taiko 2v2 Converted Maps Tourney will use double-elimination bracket, which means that there will be a losers' bracket and winners' bracket.
- Reschedules will only be considered if both teams agree to a time. This needs to be done and communicated to the tournament staff before Friday at 23:00 UTC in the particular week when the match takes place.
- Even in a tournament setting, osu! is still a game. Please respect each other, be friendly, and play fair.
In-game procedure
- Every player will be invited to a multiplayer room at match time.
- The referee can wait a maximum of 10 minutes for each player to attend.
- If a player does not arrive, the referee will ask the other team for a 1v2 start. It will depend on the other team if they want to play or not.
- Keep in mind that abstaining from a 1v1 is equivalent to forfeiting the match.
- Captains will decide if they want to pick a warmup map (maximum limit is 3:30) and the order does not matter.
- Captains will use the
!rollcommand. Each team will ban 1 map starting from the one who rolled the lowest. - After the bans, the team that got the higher roll picks their first map, then the other team picks theirs. This is continued until the match is done.
- If a player gets disconnected for some reason in the first 10 seconds of the song, the referee will abort the game and restart it.
- If it happens after 10 seconds, the score before the disconnect will be counted.
- The referee can penalise teams if any player presents bad behaviour in the game room.
- Once the match has finished, the room will be closed.
- If a player fails in a song and does not revive, then their score is not counted, but if they do revive it will count. If every player in a team fails, then the sum of their scores will count.
- If there is a tie, then no points are added to any team, but the map will be considered as played. If there is a tie on the tiebreaker, then then a rematch will happen using FreeMod conditions.
- The FreeMod pool is played with FreeMod activated. Every player may pick a combination of Hidden, HardRock, Easy, or Flashlight but at least one player from each team must have at least one mod activated.
- The ForceMod pool is played with ForceMod activated. Every player has to pick Hidden, HardRock, Easy, or Flashlight.
- The Tiebreaker is played under FreeMod conditions, but it is not necessary to have a mod activated.
Win conditions
- Group Stage: Best-of-5 (first to 3 points)
- Round of 16 and Quarterfinals: Best-of-7 (first to 4 points)
- Semifinals and Finals: Best-of-9 (first to 5 points)
- Grand Finals: Best-of-11 (first to 6 points)
