UK Community Cup 3

The UK Community Cup 3 (UKCC3) was a British 1v1 double-elimination osu! tournament hosted by Bubbleman, Jerome and Yazzehh. It was the third instalment of the UK Community Cup series and the series' second 1v1 competition.

Ruleset

General

• This tournament is a 1v1 double-elimination British osu! tournament.
• This tournament will consist of up to 128 players.
• Matches will be Head To Head, with score v2 as the scoring system used.
• To be able to participate, players must have a United Kingdom or Ireland flag, otherwise the player must be able to provide proof of residency to the hosts.
• UK Staff are able to participate, mappool selectors are not allowed to participate.
• The top 128 ranked players will be selected to play.

Mappools

• During the Round of 128 to Round of 64, each mappool will consist of 4 NoMod, 2 HD, 2 HR, 2 DT, 2 Freemod and 1 Tiebreaker map.
• From the Group stage, each mappool will consist of 6 NoMod, 3 HD, 3 HR, 3 DT, 3 Freemod and 1 Tiebreaker map.
• In a Freemod pick, both players are able to choose between a combination of HD/HR. Players are required to pick a mod.
• The Tiebreaker follows Freemod rules but players are not required to pick a mod.

Rescheduling

• The tournament matches will be drawn on weekends, the exact schedule to be released every Monday. Matches can however be rescheduled for any day in the week as long as there is a referee available to supervise.
• If a reschedule is required, please agree a time with your opponents before coming to either Jerome, Yazzehh or Bubbleman with it.
• A time to reschedule your match to must be agreed and staff informed before Friday, 12:00 BST, at which point the schedules will be locked. Any reschedule notices after this will be invalid.
• If it is impossible to find a time to reschedule to that suits both players, both players should talk to the same staff member and we will attempt to sort something out.
• Matches that are uncertain to happen (for example, losers’ bracket matches) will still appear on the schedule. They are to be rescheduled if needed in the same way as confirmed matches.
• If a match needs rescheduling to a time after a related losers’ bracket match, the matches relying on the outcome of the rescheduled match will be rescheduled by staff and 24 hours will be given for rescheduling them, if needed.

Match procedure

• The match running order will be: Rolls, Bans, Warmups, Picks.
• Players will roll once. The player with the highest number will be allowed the first warm-up, ban and map pick.
• Warm-ups must have a drain time of 4 minutes or less.
• For the Round of 128 to Round of 64, there will be one ban per player.
• From the group stage onwards, there will be two bans per player.
• There will be no warm-ups during the Round of 128 to Round of 64.
• From the group stage onwards, there will be one warm-up per player.
• The referee is not to participate in the match.
• The Round of 128 and Round of 64 will be BO5 (first to 3).
• The Group stage will be BO7 (first to 4).
• The Round of 16 and Quarterfinals will be BO9 (first to 5).
• Semifinals will be BO11 (first to 6).
• Finals and Grand Final will be BO13 (first to 7).

Pre-match

• If a player is unable to make their allocated time, a reschedule will be allowed as long as both players can agree on a time.
• Any player that fails to show up 10 minutes after a match is due to start will forfeit the match and a win by default will be awarded to the other player.
• Rematches are allowed in the event of software/hardware failure, or when a player disconnects unintentionally during a map when they could have potentially won. The final say on a rematch is at the discretion of the referee for the match.

  • As a rule of thumb, if a player has a full combo at the time of disconnection and the opponent misses or has missed, the map will likely be rematched.
• Any other unexpected happenings are handled at the referee and hosts discretion.
