The original (not Solo Remix) song appears in THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA MASTER Passion jewelries! 002
The original song is sang by ゼッケンズ (Zekkenzu) unit consisting of:
Doesn't matter how many times I listen to the 1st one, it just makes more sense for me to keep it as it is. The 2nd one is exactly the same rhythmically, but I cooould maybe lean towards changing it. I think it's just the difference between how you and I value the sounds.
01:21:194 - for this one I had to check the lyrics to know that there is a vocal here, so for me it makes sense to make it passive.
02:54:912 - well, there is a sound too. ctrl+g'ing this one feels like I'm late to follow it which takes away the dynamics of vocals and sounds flat IMO.
If you really really really want me to change both it's whatever for me, this cover is shit anyway and I mapped it on Kano version, I just don't agree with the suggestions.
I think it's loud enough to be active, also guitar makes 5 distinct sounds here. More than that - this cover has a triple starting at 02:07:348 so I'd say now it's undermapped :)
Other than that I think patterning makes it obvious that 02:07:220 (1,2,3) is weaker than 02:07:476 (3,4,5) and it creates a nice entry to the part
00:13:630 (2,1) - I'm following the main instrument here and you want me to follow the background guitar (I suppose)? I prefer current one.
00:36:066 (3,4) - OK
01:20:938 (2,3) - sorry, but I don't understand how ctrl+g would make more sense for following vocals, for me it's quite the opposite.
02:54:784 (4,1) - I'm clearly following vocals throughout the whole section, maybe it's not so obvious on this cover cause the map was initially mapped on Kano version, but current one fits better IMO
