I gave a look to all 3 diffs, I can say it is obviously better made than any of my mapsets and that you obviously tried to replicate concepts within other Osu! maps.
The only issues is that in many cases you seem to have extremely inconsistent distance snapping even for a high diff (specially on first 2 difficulties, on the 3rd one it is better and clearly more fit to the song), I'd also debate some of the rythym choices, but overall the map does have potential and can be way better with just some fixes in positions (and slider velocity).
A that's fine, yeah the 3 1/4 note patterns are a thing common in the difficulty, and at the end this will be played by players, so any comments are still appretiated regardles of being a mapper or not
Absolutely, actually seeked to copy more or less how other Taiko YTPMV maps are done, although ofc I still have plenty of concepts and restrictions to learn, ty.
Change has been made, all of the finishers have been removed aside from the last one, and the last one no longer has the same color as its preceding note, thanks a lot for the help.
Gonna see if I can try something that sounds good fixing those issues, although another fix would be pretty much just deleting them all together
Thank you, I did try to avoid it in the lower diffs but I understand in higher diffs it is a big problem, although decided to ignore it previously due to the sounds of the song matching the color and ranking criteria not saying much in regards to it, I'll consider it.
Not anyone experienced, but kinda want to give my comments on this, I feel the main problem is that instead of feeling the song I just feel generic rythym with jumps, the rythym of the song is completely lost on the last diff, I also took a look at other aim maps people have critizised, and while in others I can easily see how they try to get the aim farm in the songs by using rythyms, here I only see the BPM being followed and a bunch of empty rythyms, I can absolutely see a great attempt at somehow making this map a farm, but an extreme amount of ambition completely ruined the song and rythym aspect of it.
Also I see a big attempt at trying to simplify the rythyms of the song, I usually love more simple patterns, but I hear a bunch of sounds not being mapped and voids being mapped, like you are just grabbing an aim farm map and fitting it on a BPM.
Finally, I don't feel of all places the instrumental part is one for big jumps, specially considering how calmed it is, I am not an enemy of the patterns, but they were forced so badly in the song that you can't even tell it is supposed to be Ren'ai Circulation.
Maybe creating a remix of the song which properly fits the patterns would be a good step.
