Hitsounds sets
I get what I mean with those descriptions don't pay attention -w-
slideslide - I wasn't entirely sure about that one but after adding it, it does "help" especially in calmer sections to make the sound clearer (I honestly wondered what you meant by help LOL but I kinda get it) -> added
slidertick - I prefer to keep them as it helps keep track of time passing inside sliders and even rhythmically it doesn't sound as forced as sliderslide -> not added
Thanks for the proposition as I didn't pay much attention to those this time around.
I'm not an expert in hitsound sets so I'ma follow that.
Little twist I thought those finishes didn't really have power so I actually changed the beginning of each 8 measures to be a soft-hitfinish from the set with the strong cymbal giving much more power to the start of those measures imo. Here are the timestamps
01:14:266 (1) -
01:17:958 (1) -
01:21:650 (1) -
01:25:343 (4) -
I also did the same for the section at 02:42:881 -
Since for 00:15:189 (1) - I typically have the last guitar sound not on a repeat slider I don't feel obliged to extend 00:16:112 (3) - to the time point. My line of thought was :
And it follows that rn. If I were to do as you say I would have 00:16:112 (3) -without any sound on the sliderend while the first reverse had.
I kinda don't really want to change it for two reasons :
the first stream was meant to separate the 2 vocal sentences between the one starting at 01:25:573 (1) - and the one starting at 01:26:266 (1) - . Only real problem with that is that 02:54:188 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - doesn't follow that exact pattern but you can still feel one sentence starting on 02:54:188 (1) - and another starting on 02:54:881 (1) - . You could say I'm not following that with hitsounds which is a good argument.
it just doesn't have the vibe of the map. The whole map is using streams that change spacing instantly and it would break that. I like the old linear vibe that is has rn.
I think the idea could work yes, but I'm more against it than for it.
