"Show freestyle rooms regardless of ruleset filter" this is a really really terrible idea, especially that taiko and mania converts are just pure garbage to play, sometimes even unplayable.
This really needs to be reverted, or at least add a toggle for it in the multiplayer screen.

"Show Freestyle rooms reguardless of ruleset filter" Is a HORRIBLE idea, I should expect to only see osu mania lobbies when i open up the mania tab, not to essentially gamble on wiether a lobby i see will be a mania lobby or not.

to fix this you need to

  1. check the real status of the maps manually
  2. download all such maps
  3. delete these maps
  4. re-enter the game (since if you add these maps immediately after deleting, the qualified or wip or pending status will remain)
  5. add maps to the game (but they will rise higher if the maps are sorted by date added, which I don't want)
