00:24:233 (1) - Torn in between saying make the spacing smaller or making this 1/2 slider (same for the repeats) try making the combos after these notes the NC's instead

Also, these patterns as 00:04:524 (1,2,3,4) - / 00:15:687 (1,2,3,4) - sorta mean that each of four sliders have similar sound under it. Technically, this patterns seems rhythmically off but I personally agree with them as they kinda show how mapper sees and expresses music into mapping. You may want to get more opinions about this.
  2. 01:01:733 - it has pretty audible vocals there, also this looks kinda inconsistent as you weren't stacking stuff like that in kiai.
  3. 02:12:199 (4) - pretty the same issue here. They're 02:12:024 (3,4) - have almost the same density, so what the point of stacking.
  4. 03:01:210 (1,2,3,4) - pretty weird pattern tbh. Comparing to the whole structure and style of the diff this back n forth jumps look too way unfittable.
  5. 03:32:606 - new measure with truly stong beat should be emphasized much more. Try to increase spacing.
  6. 03:52:140 (3) - sudden reverse tbh. Also, there's beat 03:53:187 - which have to be clickable.
  7. You've done strange thing in the very end. For instance, 03:54:931 - this skipped upbeat. Just why...

  4. 00:58:071 (1,2) - huge spacing unlike 00:54:931 (1,2,1,2) - you may want to reduce spacings there. Or increase it for the first one.
  5. By the way, you might want to reconsider spacing on strong upbeats as now they kinda lack of emphasis, 01:32:606 - for example this one for sure.
  6. 02:20:047 - well, it definitely lacks emphasis.
    Will not duplicate the same issue for 100 times, I think you can sort this out.

  2. Is HP=8 really necessary on expert?
  3. Change name of collab standard to collab normal since there is no such difficulty as standard

Isn't HP 8 a bit high? Probably 7 fits more for a diff like this.

  1. 00:24:233 (1,2) - This spacing for 1/4 gaps and 00:29:815 (1,2) - this one are very different. 00:24:233 (1,2) - seems to be the outlier here so consider reducing this spacing?
  2. 01:43:071 (3,4,5,6) - These sounds don't really feel so intense to warrant a square this high spacing. The flow is really harsh too, so imo maybe reduce spacing?
  3. 02:13:594 (2,3,4,5,6) - I would probably reduce this spacing since it's only a hi-hat. Maybe to 1.0x per note? http://i.imgur.com/Mu4zqOM.png
  4. 02:20:047 (1) - Feels like it's lacking emphasis. It isn't really an antijump like you've been using, and it's preceded by a fairly comfortable set of notes. Maybe stack it on 02:19:175 (3) - head of this?
  5. 02:36:443 (7) - Doesn't really fit the pattern imo, since it's the only sound without a guitar on it but it blends in with the diamond. You can stack it on 02:36:268 (6) - ? Idk, up to you.
  6. 02:44:292 (2,3,4,1) - Might be mistaken for a triple like 02:37:140 (1,2,3) - was since it's very far from 02:44:117 (1).
  7. 02:44:989 (6,7) - Spacing is a bit too high no? At least for 1/4.

  12. 02:52:838 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - Also really harsh flow for sounds that aren't very strong imo.
  13. 02:55:978 (1,2) - Probably could use a slider here instead since the vocals were all circles and some differentiation would be nice.
  14. 03:03:478 (2,1) - Is emphasized one way but 03:03:827 (2,1) - is emphasized completely differently and at much higher spacing. I think you should stick with one form because the vocals are pretty much the same as everywhere else you did this.
  15. 03:11:501 (1,3) - These two really need more emphasis imo especially considering 03:03:827 (2,1) - because they're stronger than vocals.
  16. 03:14:466 (1,2,3) - Vocals on this but not on 03:15:164 (1,2,3) - so the same pattern is kind of unfitting imo.
  17. 03:25:629 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - I'm kind of sad you killed your anti-jump + wide angle emphasis and went for back-and-forths here. It would be a lot cooler if you had kept it consistent with the previous iterations of these vocals.
  18. 03:29:292 (4) - Could be two circles to avoid missing the snare on the slider end?
  19. 03:52:140 (3) - I'm confused as to why you threw this double reverse at the end. It seems very out of place especially since this is the first time it's used like 5 seconds before the map ends. I would remove this just to keep the whole map's feel.

  1. 00:05:222 (3) - Definitely sounds like you can do two circles here since they're pretty distinct sound and not differentiated due to the surrounding notes also being sliders. You could make a lot more interesting rhythm choices actually, like 00:10:803 (3) - could be two circles or something too.

    Rhythms like 00:13:594 (3,4,5) fit a lot better imo. Or just all circles but that's up to you.

    I really feel like 00:16:385 (3) - should be two circles though if anything else, there's like no differentiation and it makes me sad. ;-;
  2. 00:38:187 (1) - Two circles possibly since 00:38:536 (2) - is also a slider but only has one vocal on it.
  3. 00:44:466 (3,4,5,6,7) - Is it just me or does this stream look a bit weird? o.O Maybe redraw it with slider-to-stream it kinda looks like the DS is so slightly uneven xD

  7. 02:20:047 (1) - More emphasis maybe? Pretty strong finish I'd say.
  8. 02:29:815 (3,4) - Skips a lot of pretty clickable stuff, like 02:29:989 - and 02:30:164 - on sliderends.
  9. 02:32:082 (3) - Maybe a reverse? There's a guitar on the blue that I can hear. xD

Rhythm choice in general is kind of questionable and the anti-jump usage in the kiai seems somewhat inconsistent (or maybe I just don't get it). Otherwise topdiffs look pretty cute.

i fixed and nerfed all, so now it should be acceptable as the easiest difficulty... as you can see the rhythm in the song is kinda complex, so there are lots of sounds on the red ticks that should be mapped, thats why i dont see how can i map an easy with a less dense rhythm, since it will be like a beginner which is kinda senseless lol

ok let me explain. i used this low spacing on downbeats on purpose (not on all, obviously, but sometimes), because i think that these patterns are way more fun to play rather than just usual high spacing on the downbeats. since i did that a lot of times through the map, i think my idea should be okay, because a lot of good mappers did that already a lot of times (evilelvis in his maps, for example). if i will make the spacing everywhere obvious, that will just ruin the spirit of the map, so please let me keep those patterns as they are ;w;
I love this song a lot, but i dont think i will nominate this unless there is a proper easy difficulty added and the issue for top diff can be addressed. Good luck!

others were fixed, except first suggestion in the insane since its daily's part and since the fixes arent small like others,ill call him to check this out

the last spinner ends at different times for pretty much every diff lol, would be better to make these consistent

also suggestion from kalibe in top diff would be to have 03:25:629 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - start with bigger spacing then decrease since vocals are lowering in pitch https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8561958 then u can stack 03:26:850 (2,3,4) - https://puu.sh/wGHSQ/b95f41dc44.jpg. makes a bit more sense with stuff like 03:03:303 (1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4) - that go from larger to smaller spacing

Hi, I saw this in qualified, i think it's a pretty cool map but it can definitely be improved before pushing it towards ranked.

My main issue is the patterning and huge spacing inconsistencies in the kiai.

  1. 00:50:396 (2,3,1) - The emphasis is wrong here. What justifies this random antijump just when the new measure starts? 00:50:571 (3,1) - If anything, 00:50:745 (1) - should be the most emphasized here, but instead it's a very weird tiny movement. Same goes for 00:51:966 (4,1) - , 00:56:152 (4,1) - and subsequent similar spots (it happens all over the map)
  2. 00:54:582 (3,4,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4) - What's with all these patterns being so completely different from each other even if the vocal (which is what you're mapping to) is always roughly the same in the music? I understand that you want to create variety and that's good, but I think you can refine a lot of your patterns quite a bit. For example, the spacing difference here 00:57:722 (1,2,1,2) - makes very little sense, as you go from antijumps to very big jump to antijumps for no reason. This is very counter-intuitive to play as the music signifies no such change in emphasis.
  3. The kiai ends after these and all seems well, until we end up in the next kiai...
  4. 01:50:919 (2,3) - Why is the start of a new vocal now an antijump instead of the reverse as you did before? 00:57:722 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - in this pattern, you emphasized the STARTS of every vocal, whereas here you're emphasizing the second syllable of every vocal, which gives off a completely different effect.
  5. Not to mention, later on in this pattern you switch around the emphasis AGAIN, emphasizing the start of 01:51:443 (1) - again. Could you pick one type of emphasis and perhaps stick with it for these vocals? Your map will be a lot more cohesive this way.
  6. 01:57:024 (1,2,3,4) - What's this sudden huge spacing for just instrumental, and then this 01:57:547 (4,1) - antijump here again where the finish would indicate more emphasis instead. Besides, you've never really used this kind of spacing for the background music either way, as your map has been very vocal based up to this point. The same goes for 02:52:838 (1,2,3) -
  7. 02:29:989 (1,2) - This one is kinda unnecessary since the sounds you mapped these to stop after 02:29:292 (1,2) - already, so this should just be 3 1/2 notes instead.
  8. 02:52:838 (1,2,3) - Here the patterning gets even more random. Where exactly are you placing these jumps and for what reason? I don't really know why 02:54:233 (3,4) - and 02:54:582 (5,6) - are such big jumps and 02:54:408 (4,5) - is so small
  9. 03:00:513 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - It pretty much repeats itself, here these patterns are antijumps with every new vocal emphasized again, the pattern itself is fine but why is the rest so incredibly different?
  10. 03:14:466 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - vs 01:42:373 (1,2) - and 03:20:047 (1,2,3) - hmm... that's quite a huge difference isn't it? These linear patterns are really harsh to play, especially if you don't use the direction change on this vocal 03:14:815 (3) - , and 03:15:164 (1,2,3) - are equally spaced as the notes where the vocals land on (you'd think this would be a lot less intense)
  11. 03:23:885 (3) - a direction change would benefit this pattern aswell, since this vocal is a lot lower pitched and feels way too harsh to play in such a large spaced linear pattern.
Well, the things I pointed out pretty much repeat themselves throughout the map, so I encourage you to take a look at it, and see what you think.

Your map will be a lot more cohesive this way. same as above, tho slightly changed from a linestyle to a back-forth style
  6. 01:57:024 (1,2,3,4) - What's this sudden huge spacing for just instrumental, and then this 01:57:547 (4,1) - antijump here again where the finish would indicate more emphasis instead. Besides, you've never really used this kind of spacing for the background music either way, as your map has been very vocal based up to this point. The same goes for 02:52:838 (1,2,3) - somewhat agree the spacing here is a bit large, tho again it's being paired with the antijump for nice contrast to emphasize the downbeat. not enough for dq on its own
  7. 02:29:989 (1,2) - This one is kinda unnecessary since the sounds you mapped these to stop after 02:29:292 (1,2) - already, so this should just be 3 1/2 notes instead. there's clearly still guitar on that blue tick
  8. 02:52:838 (1,2,3) - Here the patterning gets even more random. Where exactly are you placing these jumps and for what reason? I don't really know why 02:54:233 (3,4) - and 02:54:582 (5,6) - are such big jumps and 02:54:408 (4,5) - is so small more or less same as before regarding contrast, tho the overall spacing has likely increased due to this being the final kiai for a bigger finish, a common technique

Well, the things I pointed out pretty much repeat themselves throughout the map, so I encourage you to take a look at it, and see what you think.
Go look at the maps of old commonly considered masterpieces. They certainly don't hold the heavy consistency and uniform emphasis you're seeking. I personally can't think of many masterpieces ranked this year, so there's clearly something wrong with the general modding atmosphere.

"variety is cool but please make your patterns look the same" different ways of emphasis at the same places make this map more interesting to play and personally i dont see any problems with that. if the concept is repeated consistently, why is this a problem at all? and a question for you, have you ever played this map before telling me that those patterns are "counter-intuitive to play"? i got, like, a tonn of testplays and nobody was complaining about them.

well, sorry, if some of my replies were senseless or something, i just dont understand how am i supposed to write the same things again and again..

tldr low spacing is also an emphasis, and since it wasnt used like once in the middle of the map, i think it should work quite well. completely different patterns are there to create diversity and make the gameplay far more interesting than just playing the triangles over and over again. your complaints about bad playability are senseless and i doubt that you played the map even once.

wow.. calm down with the lashing out? I just posted my opinion so we could discuss about it (which is what qualified is for), not to force my opinion onto you. I'm glad you responded but comments like ''your opinion is basically senseless'' aren't really needed imo. I also think you kinda missed what i was going for. I'm not saying you should create just ''triangle'' jumps, I only suggested a more cohesive emphasis usage (similar emphasis doesnt meant the patterns have to be the same at all) Anyways, good luck with the map, then!
