If you have difficulty to read the mod, PM me.

Easy
00:32:006 (2) - Maybe, Put this one 1/2 before ( 00:31:849 - ) Like you did at 00:57:112 -

00:37:059 (2) - Same ^

I see this part 01:05:954 - more like this

  • Position :
  1. 6 red at : 01:05:954 -
  2. 7 red at : 01:07:059 (7) -
  3. 1 yellow at : 01:07:059 (7) -
  4. 2 yellow at : 01:08:006 (2) -
  5. 3 yellow at : 01:08:954 -
  6. 4 yellow at : 01:09:585 (4) -
01:18:585 - Move the start of the slider of 1/2

And why not continue the end of the song by moving the end of your spiner at 01:22:533 - or simply change it by a slider like this

To do it (use 1x space) : Change your spinner by this ( same start, but end earlier )

Continue at 01:23:796 - ( Note #1 red of my picture )
Note #1 red at 01:23:796 (1) -
Note #3 red at 01:26:006 -

Normal
00:33:112 - Maybe remove the small jump

00:39:743 - Add a note; example (the note #4 red is the new note )

Hard
00:18:901 - Add a slider here, Example of placement :

Insane

Easy

On easy its more consistent for this quiet part to be mapped on the white tick for beginners. It can be done but I feel theres not really any emphasis to do it even if the vocal starts on the red tick. Like at 00:35:638 (1) It works since its an NC and the rhythm dictates me to use a red tick.
00:37:059 (2) - Same ^

I see this part 01:05:954 - more like this

  • Position :
  1. 6 red at : 01:05:954 -
  2. 7 red at : 01:07:059 (7) -
  3. 1 yellow at : 01:07:059 (7) -
  4. 2 yellow at : 01:08:006 (2) -
  5. 3 yellow at : 01:08:954 -
  6. 4 yellow at : 01:09:585 (4) -
Added but I'm not sure about the red and yellow section. I hope this is good.

I do like the suggestion of continuing map. But I considered ending the map here since its an Easy map and having end on a spinner here is quite a fitting end for the player. However if multiple suggestion pop up that I really should map the end, I will do it
Normal
00:33:112 - Maybe remove the small jump
WOOPS LOL
00:39:743 - Add a note; example (the note #4 red is the new note )
Did something similar
Hard
00:18:901 - Add a slider here, Example of placement :
Added something :D

hi

general

-bg should be cropped to 1366x768, might not be a big deal but its an easy fix
-disable letterbox
-personally i'd tone down the internsity of combo 1, its really bright, also not sure about this but combo 4 is the same colour as'background' maybe you can change 'background' to black http://puu.sh/hioOv/ae9cae2e87.jpg

insane

-00:00:743 (3) - feels out of place, like its just a filler note which doesnt play well. it doesnt even follow the main instruments like 00:00:428 (1,2) - & 00:00:901 (4) -
-00:01:691 (1,2,3,4,5) - what do you think about this flow? i just ctrl g a few notes. its much more natural and circular this way http://puu.sh/hioXe/3618d00a09.jpg
-00:03:270 (3) - same as 00:00:743 (3) -
-00:03:901 (6,7,1) - this rhythm is barely readable because of its spacing, i'd suggest just to remove 00:04:138 (7) - since its overmapped.
-00:04:217 (1) - unsnapped
-00:04:849 (3) - ^
-00:04:217 (1,2) - normal whistles work really well here, add for all diffs if you change
-00:04:849 (3,4,5) - again, hard to read. its a 1/4 note but spaced like 1/2. something like this would be a lot easier to play http://puu.sh/hip8B/3e50bfbd08.jpg
-00:08:796 (7,8) - these sound overmapped to me, just mapping out the sounds on the white and red tick is enough
-00:15:506 - ^
-00:20:164 (2,3) - ^
-00:25:375 (5) - add finish because you can hear cymbals in the music
-00:36:112 (2,3,4,5,6) - this zig zag flow is uncomfortable to play here, you can easily smoothen the flow by moving 00:36:585 (5,6) - somewhere around here http://puu.sh/hipr4/5bd7b93e98.jpg
-00:47:006 (1) - try ctrl +g it will make the flow a lot better imo :3
-00:50:638 (6,7) - sound overmapped, instead add notes on 00:50:559 - & 00:50:638 - because the drums are there
-00:51:349 (2) - just remove this, its overmapped and the distance makes it hard to read
-00:56:638 (4,5,6,7) - overapped, remove them. the only sound here are drums on the red tick
-01:01:533 (3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - again overmapped, and its not a good way to map this stream since its plays badly, ill put a visual here for you to show where the actual drum beats are, try to not map streams everywhere just because its cool or whatnot http://puu.sh/hipI2/ca12401c7b.jpg i think the drummer is drunk here cause some parts are a bit offbeat lol
-01:20:796 (6,7,8) - overmapped
-01:27:743 (2,3) - ^ same with 01:28:375 (2,3,4) -
this is actually a nice insane, considering you dont have any ranked maps yet, the only thing i reallyyyyy dislike are the overmapped streams

hard

-00:00:743 (3) - same as insane. id try a rhythm like this instead http://puu.sh/hipUE/74a8b9d4dc.jpg you can stack (3) onto 00:01:059 (4) -
-00:08:480 (2,3,4) - triplets like these are often hard to play in hard, i suggest a 1/4 repeat slider instead
-00:15:428 (5,6) - sounds overmapped to me, remove 00:15:506 (6) - its best to not overmap in hards if possible
-00:25:612 (6) - ^
-00:50:638 (5,6) - ^ same concept as insane
-00:50:796 (1) - id just end this on the white tick , this current rhythm is strange..
-01:11:796 (4,5) - overmapped, and you should not put 1/4 jumps in hards, try a rhythm like this instead http://puu.sh/hiqlH/4bafd3efde.jpg
-01:16:770 (4) - remove, because its overmapped
-01:19:928 - ^
again nice hard but try not to overmap parts

normal

-00:02:006 (4,5) - i dont find that this rhythm follows the music very good, id suggest this instead http://puu.sh/hiquG/778641fc17.jpg
-00:18:743 (6) - how about a 3/2 slider here? to cover the beat at 00:19:217 - as well, since the current rhythm make this part feel undermapped http://puu.sh/hiqzP/4ea365415d.jpg
-00:52:217 (2) - add nc for kiai
-01:02:006 (5,1) - watch your spacing

easy

-00:08:006 (4) - you can end this a beat earlier to prevent the 1/2 rhythm
-00:12:112 (3,4) - a rhythm suggestion to omit the 1/2 rhythm http://puu.sh/hiqRr/c13693fd0e.jpg
-00:18:743 (2) - this 1/2 rhythm would be too hard, since a newbie would have to actually hit the circle on time. just place a 3/2 slider here instead
-00:34:849 (5) - remove repeat to avoid 1/2 rhythm
-00:40:217 (5) - put a circle here instead to remove the 1/2 rhythm
-00:48:270 (1) - this spinner just doesn't feel right, like its placed at a part where its not appropriate, unlike your normal/hard. id suggest to just map this part
-00:54:112 (4) - make this a 3/2 slider to remove the 1/2 rhythm
-01:04:217 (4,5,6) - this entire part has a really awkward rhythm, why the sudden long sliders? also try to find a way to omit the 1/2 rhythm..
-01:16:849 (6) - turn this into 1/1 slider to avoid 1/2 rhythm
-01:21:270 (1) - this spinner doesnt fit imo
why not map the end?
i think out of all the diffs easy's rhythm choice is very poor, not saying that 1/2 isnt ok in easy but the way you use it isnt appropriate. because unlike a 1/2 slider where a player doesnt have to click within half a beat, they just hold it for a bit.

overall the maps pretty cool, surprisingly the lowest diff needs most work. i'll shoot a star though, good luck

Wow how did I mess that up
-disable letterbox
-personally i'd tone down the internsity of combo 1, its really bright, also not sure about this but combo 4 is the same colour as'background' maybe you can change 'background' to black http://puu.sh/hioOv/ae9cae2e87.jpg
You gloomy guy. LOL I wanted the colours to be vibrant but I understand. Just toned down the yellow to have a thicker orange colour
insane

-00:00:743 (3) - feels out of place, like its just a filler note which doesnt play well. it doesnt even follow the main instruments like 00:00:428 (1,2) - & 00:00:901 (4) -
If you turn down the hitsound volume, you can hear the slight white tick drumming. I think the reason it feels out of place might be because of the distance gap so instead I lowered that.
Someone else has said this so it backs up your suggestion
-00:04:217 (1) - unsnapped
-00:04:849 (3) - ^
-00:04:217 (1,2) - normal whistles work really well here, add for all diffs if you change
To me it just sounds like the whistles overlap each other with the main whistle and it doesn't sound the nicest. So for me, I'll have to keep consistency one the soft whistles with this one.
-00:04:849 (3,4,5) - again, hard to read. its a 1/4 note but spaced like 1/2. something like this would be a lot easier to play http://puu.sh/hip8B/3e50bfbd08.jpg
I have unstacked the 1/4 note but I do want to keep this pattern shape as it emphasises the change in pace for the music
-00:08:796 (7,8) - these sound overmapped to me, just mapping out the sounds on the white and red tick is enough
-00:15:506 - ^
Not this one, for me the triple emphasises LiSA holding her voice.
-00:20:164 (2,3) - ^
I love my kicksliders :c
-00:25:375 (5) - add finish because you can hear cymbals in the music
This is weird because I don't see any reason the MUSIC should even have the cymbals there when its the first verse.
-00:36:112 (2,3,4,5,6) - this zig zag flow is uncomfortable to play here, you can easily smoothen the flow by moving 00:36:585 (5,6) - somewhere around here http://puu.sh/hipr4/5bd7b93e98.jpg
Thank you for the suggestion but instead I have the zig zag flow less pressured during the end of it instead.
-00:47:006 (1) - try ctrl +g it will make the flow a lot better imo :3
:o
-00:50:638 (6,7) - sound overmapped, instead add notes on 00:50:559 - & 00:50:638 - because the drums are there
-00:51:349 (2) - just remove this, its overmapped and the distance makes it hard to read
-00:56:638 (4,5,6,7) - overapped, remove them. the only sound here are drums on the red tick
I think the distance is justified but thats for pointing that out, now that I look at it, the stream looks out of place. Fixed
This one is fine for me
-01:27:743 (2,3) - ^ same with 01:28:375 (2,3,4) -

this is actually a nice insane, considering you dont have any ranked maps yet, the only thing i reallyyyyy dislike are the overmapped streams

hard

-00:00:743 (3) - same as insane. id try a rhythm like this instead http://puu.sh/hipUE/74a8b9d4dc.jpg you can stack (3) onto 00:01:059 (4) -
Same reasoning as insane but I still would like a note there because of the soft white tick drum you can hear. Plus it keeps momentum at the start
-00:08:480 (2,3,4) - triplets like these are often hard to play in hard, i suggest a 1/4 repeat slider instead
I'll keep the suggestion but I will still keep this as a triple for now since i want it to pair with the triple at 00:05:954 (3,4,5)
-00:15:428 (5,6) - sounds overmapped to me, remove 00:15:506 (6) - its best to not overmap in hards if possible
Thanks for the rhythm suggestion
-01:16:770 (4) - remove, because its overmapped
-01:19:928 - ^
again nice hard but try not to overmap parts

normal

-00:02:006 (4,5) - i dont find that this rhythm follows the music very good, id suggest this instead http://puu.sh/hiquG/778641fc17.jpg
Thanks for pointing it out, I did however do something different, I hope this is good as well
-00:18:743 (6) - how about a 3/2 slider here? to cover the beat at 00:19:217 - as well, since the current rhythm make this part feel undermapped http://puu.sh/hiqzP/4ea365415d.jpg
Used a 1/1 slider and a HC instead
-00:52:217 (2) - add nc for kiai
-01:02:006 (5,1) - watch your spacing

easy

-00:08:006 (4) - you can end this a beat earlier to prevent the 1/2 rhythm
Will beginners really have a hard time doing this? There is plenty of reaction time
-00:12:112 (3,4) - a rhythm suggestion to omit the 1/2 rhythm http://puu.sh/hiqRr/c13693fd0e.jpg
-00:18:743 (2) - this 1/2 rhythm would be too hard, since a newbie would have to actually hit the circle on time. just place a 3/2 slider here instead
-00:34:849 (5) - remove repeat to avoid 1/2 rhythm
Same reasoning as first suggestion

I can understand that some of the 1/2 might not be done in the best situation, but I have faith that putting those 1/2 will add at least some difficulty for our easy players. There is plenty of comfort for them to do it :D

overall the maps pretty cool, surprisingly the lowest diff needs most work. i'll shoot a star though, good luck
No comment = fixed
Hey man thank you for the M4M but most importantly thank you so much for the star! I think that's my first star shot by someone :D
I didn't have time to completely finish the mod since there is quite a lot which I am glad you took the time to do. So if you read this message, just know I will finish it off. The reason the easier difficulties need to be worked on more is because of my inexperience with them :p
_handholding
I've come from #modreqs for the m4m request

Insane
00:20:164 (2,3) - Isnt this overmapping? I can only hear 2 drum beats
00:30:428 (1,2) - Increase in SV makes these look like 1/2 sliders and its very tricky to read as its in the middle of a measure.
01:02:006 (8,9) - The sliders here work well as they dont have any sudden SV changes, face the direction of the next slider and fit the music
01:17:322 (8) - I would remove this slider as there's nothing playing here
01:18:743 (1,2) - these notes are very weak. Maybe remove them for emphasis on the vocals? Up to you though
01:28:375 (2) - Does this really have to be a 1/4 slider? It would be better as a single note imo
01:27:901 (3) - ^
01:28:533 (3,4) - the DS between these notes are misleading

Just another note. I get that this is suppose to be an Insane but theres alot of single tap circles at 190 bpm no less. Maybe you can turn some into sliders? Though if its part of the difficulty, then fair enough dont change it.

Hard

00:00:743 (3) - Delete this and replace with a circle at 00:00:901
00:03:270 (3) - ^ Same pattern as above

Normal

00:15:270 (5) - Turn this into a single circle?
01:07:217 (1) - Delete NC at start it at 01:08:006 (2) instead
01:09:743 (1) - Start NC at 01:10:217 (2)

Thats all from me. I hope this mod was helpful and GL getting ranked :)

I usually use kicksliders to emphasise the intensity of the note or when there should be a stream. I don't think its bad to overmap like this sometimes but if people really don't enjoy it, I'll have to remove it
00:30:428 (1,2) - Increase in SV makes these look like 1/2 sliders and its very tricky to read as its in the middle of a measure.
Removed the timing point and adjusted
01:02:006 (8,9) - The sliders here work well as they dont have any sudden SV changes, face the direction of the next slider and fit the music
01:17:322 (8) - I would remove this slider as there's nothing playing here
But the vocals :o
01:18:743 (1,2) - these notes are very weak. Maybe remove them for emphasis on the vocals? Up to you though
It should be fine
01:28:375 (2) - Does this really have to be a 1/4 slider? It would be better as a single note imo
01:27:901 (3) - ^
01:28:533 (3,4) - the DS between these notes are misleading

This isn't really an issue since the map is targeted towards players who can play around and below my skill level

Hard

00:00:743 (3) - Delete this and replace with a circle at 00:00:901
00:03:270 (3) - ^ Same pattern as above
Since last mod had this suggestion too, I will change it accordingly

Normal

00:15:270 (5) - Turn this into a single circle?
Did something else
01:07:217 (1) - Delete NC at start it at 01:08:006 (2) instead
I find the emphasis for the NC here is correct
01:09:743 (1) - Start NC at 01:10:217 (2)
This should be fine as well

Thats all from me. I hope this mod was helpful and GL getting ranked :)

m4m

[Easy]
  1. 00:02:954 (4) - imo you should nc this
  2. 00:08:006 (4) - ^
  3. 00:14:006 (2,4) - maybe you could move (4) to the left a bit? these two are kinda overlapping
  4. 00:15:585 (4) - nc
  5. 00:34:217 (4,1) - the overlap here could be avoided. find a way to fix this? there really shouldnt be overlaps like this in an easy
  6. 00:41:954 (2) - move to x:371 y:209 for a perfect stack
  7. 01:04:691 (5) - nc
  8. 01:09:901 (5) - ^
  9. 01:14:954 (4) - move the anchor at the tail to the right twice to be even with the previous slider
  10. 01:26:322 (4) - this could be moved to the left a bit to avoid overlapping
  11. 01:26:322 (4) - nc
  12. 01:26:322 (4,1,2) - separate these some to also avoid the overlap they create
  13. 01:27:585 (1) - remove nc
neat

[Normal]
  1. 00:05:480 (1) - you should point the slider tail down some. the flow its producing with the next note is kinda meh with the way you have it
  2. 00:20:480 (2,3) - maybe blanket these? it would look better
  3. 00:29:480 (4,5) - if youre going to have a small curve in (4) at the tail, id at least blanket the next slider with that small curve. im a nazi when it comes to blanketing. try moving 00:30:112 (5) - to x:392 y:100
  4. 00:33:112 (5) - id move this to x:292 y:116 because what you have atm is kinda ugly. moving this note will open up the flow more imo
  5. 00:38:164 (1,2) - fix blanket
  6. 00:45:743 (1,2) - you should blanket the tail of (1) with the tail of (2). it would look a lot better
some placement could be improved

[Hard]
  1. 00:02:164 (4,5) - blanket these
  2. 00:05:164 (4) - move this to the left some
  3. 00:07:059 (2) - i would ctrl - g this for a better flow
  4. 00:09:112 (1,2) - blanket
  5. 00:22:849 (5) - you should move this note to x:336 y:212. imo it makes the flow feel nicer
  6. 00:30:743 (1,2) - fix blanket
  7. 00:37:691 (3) - ctrl - g
  8. 01:04:533 (5) - move to x:157 y:151 to perfectly stack under (2)'s tail
  9. 01:05:322 (3) - nc to keep consistency with the previous section like this
  10. 01:10:533 (3) - id ctrl - g this
  11. 01:19:375 (3) - ^
  12. 01:23:796 (3) - nc
if i were you id go back and re check all your blankets

[Insane]
  1. 00:04:849 (3) - object here isnt snapped
  2. 00:01:849 (2,4) - blanket is slightly off
  3. 00:25:691 (1) - ctrl - g this. the flow it produces is so much better than the current one
  4. 00:30:428 (2) - ^
  5. 00:49:533 (1) - ^. this one will also create a smallish jump that would feel perfect
  6. 00:54:585 (1) - ctrl - g this
  7. 00:55:059 (2) - ^, this one and the one above play a lot better when ctrl - g'd
  8. 01:04:217 (4,1) - fix blanket
  9. 01:12:112 (1) - remove nc
  10. 01:16:849 (4,5) - why are these so close together? space them away. if you were trying to create an anti-jump, then move them away just a bit more. but where theyre at atm isnt nice
so, blankets, stacks, and placement needs some work

this is all i could find
i wish you luck with the set, and cant wait to see your mod for my map ;)

[Easy]
  1. 00:02:954 (4) - imo you should nc this
  2. 00:08:006 (4) - ^
I didn't want to go too crazy with the NC's as the one's currently used work to their respective phrases for the singer. If I don't change any NC's, it just mean I don't think its too big of a deal
  3. 00:14:006 (2,4) - maybe you could move (4) to the left a bit? these two are kinda overlapping
  4. 00:15:585 (4) - nc
  5. 00:34:217 (4,1) - the overlap here could be avoided. find a way to fix this? there really shouldnt be overlaps like this in an easy
  6. 00:41:954 (2) - move to x:371 y:209 for a perfect stack
  7. 01:04:691 (5) - nc
  8. 01:09:901 (5) - ^
  9. 01:14:954 (4) - move the anchor at the tail to the right twice to be even with the previous slider
Its a stylistic choice. LOL, no I think this is absolutely fine and doesn't need to pair up :)
  10. 01:26:322 (4) - this could be moved to the left a bit to avoid overlapping
  11. 01:26:322 (4) - nc
  12. 01:26:322 (4,1,2) - separate these some to also avoid the overlap they create
  13. 01:27:585 (1) - remove nc
    Only NC I will change
neat

[Normal]
  1. 00:05:480 (1) - you should point the slider tail down some. the flow its producing with the next note is kinda meh with the way you have it
  2. 00:20:480 (2,3) - maybe blanket these? it would look better
I don't think I will blanket, but I will try to make it look better
  3. 00:29:480 (4,5) - if youre going to have a small curve in (4) at the tail, id at least blanket the next slider with that small curve. im a nazi when it comes to blanketing. try moving 00:30:112 (5) - to x:392 y:100
Straightened the slider :) That straight bend doesn't sit well with me either
  4. 00:33:112 (5) - id move this to x:292 y:116 because what you have atm is kinda ugly. moving this note will open up the flow more imo
    Changed some notes
  5. 00:38:164 (1,2) - fix blanket
  6. 00:45:743 (1,2) - you should blanket the tail of (1) with the tail of (2). it would look a lot better

  2. 00:05:164 (4) - move this to the left some
  3. 00:07:059 (2) - i would ctrl - g this for a better flow
This is intentional as I am using dropoff flow here
  4. 00:09:112 (1,2) - blanket
Instead, I don't like this DS here so I'm going to just give it basic flow
  5. 00:22:849 (5) - you should move this note to x:336 y:212. imo it makes the flow feel nicer
    Made a blanket instead
  6. 00:30:743 (1,2) - fix blanket
  7. 00:37:691 (3) - ctrl - g
    Intentional dropoff flow
  8. 01:04:533 (5) - move to x:157 y:151 to perfectly stack under (2)'s tail
  9. 01:05:322 (3) - nc to keep consistency with the previous section like this
    Nice NC suggestion
  10. 01:10:533 (3) - id ctrl - g this
Intentional, but it does look weird so I hope this fix I did makes it better
  11. 01:19:375 (3) - ^

  • 00:13:375 (1,2,3) - I prefer to do it like this http://puu.sh/hn6SP/2cd3df95c0.jpg . It'll make the pattern more solid, you know.
01:09:901 (5) - It'll be better if you make it like this http://puu.sh/hn74P/7c504a251d.jpg
01:17:480 (1) - (Caution) Becareful of using sliders like this, especially on Easy
01:25:059 (2,3) - It'll be better if those two sliders not touching the slider 4
Normal

  • 00:12:428 (4,1) - Do it like this http://puu.sh/hn7Il/bcc8d08633.jpg
    00:18:270 (2,3,4) - Make the slider 2 and head-to-head each other
00:36:428 (2,3,4) - Can't tell you a lot with words, but I have an idea to make it better. http://puu.sh/hn7Pm/dabc969741.jpg
    01:07:217 (1,2) - (Attention) Avoid 2 touching the 1
    01:23:796 (2,3) - Same as 01:07:217 (1,2)
    01:28:059 (3) - Add anchor point at x:184 and y:112
Hard

  • 00:20:164 (6,7,1) - You better make a triangle there to make it more great
00:47:480 (2,3) - It won't look harsh if you use slider here
00:50:006 (2) - Put the 2 at x:352 and y:72. Looks more awesome to me
Insane

  • Nothing to say. :D

Comments/Overview
It's a nice map :D
But, the problem that I really don't like is you are using too much sliderstart at the upbeat rather than upbeat. Try to avoid that.
It is not a bad map. You don't need to re-map them all. But what I don't like is you are using too much unnecessary pattern such as using too much wiggle in some of your slider. If this your 5th map, you'll have a better chance to be a great mapper.

Nothing more to say, Good Luck :3

Modding done:

[Insane]

00:00:743 - Suggested for the 3 and 4 to be removed, not necessarily though.
00:05:085 - Suggested for the 4 to be removed because it makes the pattern awkward.
00:06:428 - Suggested for the 2 to be moved and provided example (http://i.imgur.com/ePBQ0ix.jpg).
00:07:770 - Suggested for the 8 to be moved and provided example (http://i.imgur.com/iAX7j7e.jpg).
00:15:428 - Suggested for the volume to be increased to at least 80%.
00:19:217 - Suggested to move the 1 of the new combo under the 5 slider and a bit up.
00:25:375 - Suggested to make the gap between end-4, 5 and 6 more spacious.
00:41:480 - Suggested for the 4 to have the big jump instead of 5 because the tension focused on the 4.
00:45:428 - Suggested to remove the 4 in order to create a mini-minibreak. (Too mini).
00:55:533 - Same as the above.
00:56:638 - The use of a slider was suggested.
01:09:112 - Because of the high tension, it was suggested for the slider to be moved away.
- Talked about tension, pressure, adrenaline and fluids.

Chat log:
SPOILER
22:17 Exahilosys: Would you like me to take a look at your map for modding?
22:17 Mikii: that would be nice, are you a BN? if not we can arrange a M4M
22:18 Exahilosys: I am not a nominator >.<
22:21 Exahilosys: I will be modding the insane difficulty
22:22 Exahilosys: I will be going though the song and talking to you from here so if there is anything questions, you can ask. Is that alright?
22:23 Mikii: hmmm that'll be fine
22:23 Mikii: but i am modding atm, are we doing this in chat or are you posting on the forums?
22:24 Exahilosys: I always mod with chat-talk
22:24 Mikii: so go ahead then
22:24 Exahilosys: but I could also post, even though I feel like it is kinda cold :/
22:25 Mikii: nah as long as you're friendly on the forums, i don't think there is a difference
22:25 Mikii: but go ahead
22:25 Exahilosys: Ok, first I will mod your with you on the chat and then you do whatever you want with mine >.<
22:25 Exahilosys: Give me 1min though
22:32 Mikii: you there?
22:32 Exahilosys: Yup, just got back
22:33 Exahilosys: Alright, you are with me, right?
22:33 Mikii: yeah go ahead
22:33 Exahilosys: (btw, is the background from an anime, just curious(
22:33 Exahilosys: )*
22:34 Mikii: yeah, the song is the opening for this anime
22:35 Exahilosys: oh, boop k
22:35 Exahilosys: Alright, first I would suggest removing the 3 and 4 here 00:00:743 - and moving the 1 and 2 further
22:35 Exahilosys: but now I see that you lowered the volume so they do not stand out that much
22:35 Exahilosys: so I guess it would be ok to leave them be
22:36 Exahilosys: Same would go for 00:03:270 -
22:36 Mikii: diamond pattern :3
22:37 Exahilosys: I noticed :3
22:37 Exahilosys: The 4 here 00:05:085 - will be making the gameplay a bit akward because you break the slider pattern at the last moment >.<
22:37 Exahilosys: Remove it if you like
22:38 Mikii: well i wanted to map it with this pattern
22:38 Exahilosys: awkward*
22:38 Exahilosys: and its also too big of a jump for such a lot time
22:38 Mikii: http://puu.sh/hnc5U/96c8311a8a.jpg
22:38 Exahilosys: if it was next to the end of 3 and the start of 4 it would be nice
22:39 Exahilosys: I can see it here >.<
22:39 Exahilosys: Oh, that is the pattern you wanted to make?
22:39 Exahilosys: still its too much of a jump for such a low time cap
22:40 Mikii: it really isnt
22:40 Mikii: if you play it :)
22:40 Mikii: the slider has an area in which you can hold the slider
22:40 Mikii: and this causes dropoff flow
22:41 Mikii: i already had people suggesting this to me so i will adjust it like this
22:41 Exahilosys: ok then :)
22:41 Exahilosys: It was just a detail but I felt I should point that out
22:41 Exahilosys: truth is I personaly like it >.<
22:42 Exahilosys: Also 00:06:428 - here why not make it like this? http://i.imgur.com/ePBQ0ix.jpg
22:42 Mikii: its cool, always mod in the appreciation that you can enjoy and play the part
22:42 Mikii: if it is awkward do say it
22:42 Exahilosys: :)
22:42 Exahilosys: now for the 2
22:42 Mikii: fixed
22:42 Exahilosys: cool
22:44 Exahilosys: Same goes for the 8 00:07:770 - here, like this http://i.imgur.com/iAX7j7e.jpg
22:45 Mikii: done
22:45 Exahilosys: I suggest to increase the volume here to at least 80% (if not 100%) so the player feels the stream done
22:45 Exahilosys: 00:15:428 -
22:46 Mikii: i feel like the volume here is fine
22:46 Exahilosys: kk :)
22:47 Exahilosys: Why not bring the 1 here 00:19:217 under the small slider (not overlaping the end though) so it makes the end beat more "brutal"
22:47 Exahilosys: 00:19:217 -
22:47 Mikii: yeah like 50% is fine for the first verse
22:48 Mikii: what make it blanket at the 4 slider?
22:48 Exahilosys: yup
22:48 Exahilosys: no, not the 4
22:48 Exahilosys: the 5
22:49 Exahilosys: put the 1 under the end of 5
22:49 Exahilosys: but not right under it, just a bit up
22:49 Exahilosys: so 1/4 of the circle is visible
22:49 Mikii: 00:19:217- this circle is placed there to partly stack with the next two kicksliders
22:50 Mikii: 00:19:217 (1)-
22:50 Exahilosys: There is a fairly big pause so I think it does not really matter
22:50 Exahilosys: try moving it there and play it, you will see that you feel the beat more
22:51 Exahilosys: I also suggest here - 00:25:375 that you move the 5 further from the end of 4 and the 6 further from the 5, like... make it more spacious
22:51 Exahilosys: 00:25:375 -
22:52 Mikii: i don't think its a big issue
22:53 Exahilosys: Its not, I am just pointing it out
22:53 Mikii: wait
22:53 Exahilosys: it does not really affect gameplay
22:53 Mikii: hmmm this ds is small
22:53 Exahilosys: ds? for distance?
22:53 Mikii: but it follows up with a triangle pattern which is always harder to play
22:53 Mikii: yeah distance snap
22:53 Exahilosys: oh, k
22:53 Mikii: i simply did this for stacking reasons
22:54 Exahilosys: I think it would be better to seperate them
22:54 Exahilosys: even just a bit
22:54 Mikii: nah i like this anti jump onto the slider
22:54 Exahilosys: ok then :D
22:55 Exahilosys: And here, 00:41:480 - I think the tention goes more into the 4 and the 5, so you should make the big jump for the 4 and not the 5
22:55 Mikii: yeah
22:56 Exahilosys: Not sure if you agree, but I think its better to remove the 4 here 00:45:428 -
22:57 Exahilosys: Just a small break to lower the tension of the player
22:57 Exahilosys: it also matches the song
22:57 Exahilosys: mini breaks like that are always enjoyable
22:58 Mikii: nah that would ruin the momentum
22:58 Mikii: also did this http://puu.sh/hndvp/e458c6e7c5.jpg
22:59 Exahilosys: good one
22:59 Exahilosys: same tension differance goes for the 4 here, I think this has more tention than the 5 after it
22:59 Exahilosys: so it should be the part of the big jump
23:00 Mikii: the bigger emphasis is from the 5 to the 1
23:00 Exahilosys: boop wait I did not give you a time
23:00 Exahilosys: >.<
23:00 Exahilosys: 00:55:533 -
23:01 Mikii: this part is fine though
23:02 Exahilosys: hm, the instruments there make it fine along with the singer, yeah.
23:02 Exahilosys: Also here 00:56:638 - I suggest you use a slider because it matched the vocalist's singing.
23:02 Exahilosys: from 4 to 5
23:02 Mikii: but the double here also works well
23:03 Exahilosys: if both would work well, then its your choise to make :D
23:03 Exahilosys: 01:09:112 - too much tention, please move away >.<
23:03 Exahilosys: tension*
23:04 Mikii: this is fine as well
23:04 Mikii: if you're referring to the 3 slider
23:04 Exahilosys: yup, I fingertip upwards would be nicer :P
23:04 Exahilosys: it will make a nice jump to the 4 too
23:05 Exahilosys: So is it a change or no change?
23:05 Mikii: ?
23:06 Exahilosys: the 3 slider, read up >.<
23:06 Mikii: 'i fingertip upwards would be nicer'
23:06 Exahilosys: yup XD
23:06 Mikii: WHAT DOES THAT MEAN
23:06 Exahilosys: like 2,5cm :P
23:06 Exahilosys: or 2
23:07 Exahilosys: idk how big your fingertip is
23:07 Mikii: so you want me to move it up by a bit
23:07 Exahilosys: yup
23:07 Mikii: the 3 slider, but that would make even more tension
23:07 Exahilosys: tiny bit
23:07 Mikii: theres already enough tension in 4 and 5
23:07 Exahilosys: so it indicates good the emphasis
23:08 Exahilosys: the emphasis starts when the vocalist goes "ti-KA!"
23:08 Exahilosys: "ki-KA"
23:08 Exahilosys: >.<
23:09 Mikii: :D
23:10 Mikii: you should probably finish up, because i won't have time to look at your map
23:10 Exahilosys: I am done XD
23:10 Mikii: oh okay
23:10 Exahilosys: All other jumps seem to fit in nicesly :3
23:10 Mikii: thanks for the mod :D
23:10 Exahilosys: Do you want to ask my anything?
23:10 Exahilosys: me*
23:10 Mikii: i think im good
23:10 Mikii: oh
23:10 Mikii: what do you think of the map overall?
23:11 Exahilosys: kk and as for my opinion this is a very catchy map, glad we could take care of these tention-parts >.<
23:11 Exahilosys: that is what I was typing >.<
23:11 Mikii: lol tension
23:11 Exahilosys: tension
23:11 Exahilosys: ***
23:11 Exahilosys: Damn
23:11 Mikii: i think pressure would be a better word
23:11 Mikii: anyway lets just look at your map
23:11 Exahilosys: pressure is something that you aply on an object
23:11 Exahilosys: or human
23:12 Mikii: i do physics, i know what im talking about
23:12 Mikii: :)))
23:12 Exahilosys: XD
23:12 Exahilosys: I do physics too :3
23:12 Exahilosys: btw, I will be making a post on the map's thread soon, check it out!
23:12 Mikii: tension is usually the force applied when something is pulled
23:13 Exahilosys: tention is also the feeling of adrenaline flowing through your body :3
23:13 Exahilosys: Damn how did we end up talking about body fluids >.<

Easy

  • 00:13:375 (1,2,3) - I prefer to do it like this http://puu.sh/hn6SP/2cd3df95c0.jpg . It'll make the pattern more solid, you know.
01:09:901 (5) - It'll be better if you make it like this http://puu.sh/hn74P/7c504a251d.jpg
But I like this straight slider
01:17:480 (1) - (Caution) Becareful of using sliders like this, especially on Easy
    Why
01:25:059 (2,3) - It'll be better if those two sliders not touching the slider 4
Normal

  • 00:12:428 (4,1) - Do it like this http://puu.sh/hn7Il/bcc8d08633.jpg
This is a nice suggestion but I think it would cause the flow to be too sharp
    00:18:270 (2,3,4) - Make the slider 2 and head-to-head each other
This is fine. Using asymmetry here
00:36:428 (2,3,4) - Can't tell you a lot with words, but I have an idea to make it better. http://puu.sh/hn7Pm/dabc969741.jpg
Curve the slider? But straight sliders are fine too :(
    01:07:217 (1,2) - (Attention) Avoid 2 touching the 1
They weren't touching but they are definitely too close to eachother
    01:23:796 (2,3) - Same as 01:07:217 (1,2)
    ^
    01:28:059 (3) - Add anchor point at x:184 and y:112
    Again straight sliders are fine
Hard

  • 00:20:164 (6,7,1) - You better make a triangle there to make it more great
00:47:480 (2,3) - It won't look harsh if you use slider here
    Changed the double
00:50:006 (2) - Put the 2 at x:352 and y:72. Looks more awesome to me
The circle placements here feel comfortable for me doing doing this would squash it with the hitcircle to the bottom left of it

Sorry that I couldn't agree with a lot of the things you were saying. My mapping style isnt always blanketing everything so sometimes the imperfect blankets I do are intentional. If you could give a bit more reasoning as to why I should change this part rather than for the sake of changing it, I will gladly take it with more suggestion. Putting 'blanket' does not give me enough information, do you want me to create a blanket? fix it?

Let the BNs handle this lol

Insane

  1. 00:00:585 (2,3) - Honestly, it doesn't really make much sense to have a circle at the place of 3 when the sound there is so weak compared 1,2,4. Consider replacing 2,3 into single 1/2 slider. This also allows you to get more jumpy overall in this section.
  2. 00:03:112 (2,3) - ^^
  3. 00:04:849 (3) - try bending this a little bit so that the slider ball circle slightly touches the next note, it completely removes the chance of annoying slider breaks while keeping the small 1/4 jump you wanted.
  4. 00:30:743 (1) - imo would have been more comfortable if this was bent the other way around.
  5. 00:36:270 (3,4) - missed triplet
  6. 00:40:691 - The music here is kinda equal in intensity level as other 0.8x sections, well it is kinda painful to change it now to 0.8x I guess
  7. 00:50:796 (1) - HMMM I can't think of better alternative atm but yeah you could probably do better lol
  8. 00:51:822 (3,4,5,6,7) - this stream is a bit TOO squashed together, and especially since the end of the stream is not really aligned with 00:52:217 (1) - ...

Ok now I get why I felt little awkward playing the kiai lol, you are missing some 3/4 vocal sounds and purely relying on drums o3o normally this isn't bad but LiSA's vocal stands out too much owo
  9. 00:54:112 (3,4) - Like you missed the 3/4 here, could probably make slider - circle - circle

I feel like this map is rankable as it is, just imho could have been harder lol

Hard

  1. 00:02:954 (1) - Hmm, I have no idea why you make 00:01:691 (1,2) - into circles yet you dont make these into two circles.
  2. 00:04:217 (1) - Maybe for consistency you either change these to two stacked circles or 00:01:691 (1,2) - into slider.
  3. 00:10:849 (1,2,3) - turn this into 1/1 slider, right now 2 doesn't really make that much of a sense
  4. 00:11:796 (1,2) - I would have done something like this
  5. 00:13:375 (2,3,4,5) - emphasis here is weird, should be just 1/2 slider to 1/1 slider, its not like you are basing your emphasis on vocals anyways
  6. 00:32:322 (2,3,4,5) - should really space these out a little more by like 0.1x
  7. 01:23:638 (2) - remove this, 1/1 pause stack does the song more justice.

I guess rest is ok owo

Normal

err, the way you placed the notes are quite harsh angular flow wise for a newbie. says the stack/overlaplord
I'll agree with kakifly here, surprisingly the upper diffs are good and it's the lower diffs that needs work lol

I'll just give rough alternatives since it is entirely up to you whether you want to do something about the rhythm or not.
  1. You should utilize more stacks, they allow you to have more "difficult" rhythm without really adding on any actual difficulty but do more justice for the song.
    Like:
00:00:901 (2) - easily replaceable with circle -> 1/1 slider with stack, you capture the white tick guitar transition sound with this.
    00:02:164 (4) - this one could be 1/1 slider -> circle instead.
    and vice versa.
  2. Things like 00:11:480 (2,3,4) - are nice to look at, but imo they play quite bad since you are messing with the flow from 4 to 00:12:901 (1) -
don't get me wrong, I do all kinds of aesthetics weird shiet in my things too, but probably a good idea to change it if it doesn't actually play well (the rhythm here could be better too imo)
  3. 00:14:954 (4,5) - things like this are quite tricky because the drums are on the slider end ;w; you can replace this with circle -> 1/2 reverse slider.
  4. 00:35:006 - even though its normal, you shouldn't be missing unique and mappable rhythms in a difficulty like this.
  5. 00:39:428 - missing this beat threw me off really hard.
  6. 01:14:954 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this is too dense, you should remove 01:16:691 (6) - and have a circle on 01:16:849 - instead. I mean, doesnt make much sense when this pattern is the most dense and is found in the end not the kiai :S
You should get more mods that focuses on rhythm for Normal owo/

About Easy: looks fine in general, and about 1/2s in Easy, its perfectly fine and allowed. Just that this song is 190 BPM is what makes it kinda ehhhhhhhhh.
Since you used 1/2 gap on slider to slider pattern IT SHOULD BE FINE TECHNICALLY.

Yo.

Insane

  1. 00:02:006 (3) - this could be a bit nazi modding but please make the triangle perfect with moving the circle to: x:342 and y:281. This looks better and also plays better because the player has the same distances between the three circles.
  2. 00:02:164 (4) - you should consider adding a drum clap or a drum finish here. There's a little drum-break at this point and maybe emphasize that.
  3. 00:02:638 (5) - - if you added a drum clap before add a hit finish here for a little build up.
  4. 00:06:743 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - make a diamond shape: make the distance between 00:06:743 (1,2) - and 00:07:059 (3,4) - the same. Because the music is nearly the same and that makes for better flow and it also looks much neater.
  5. 00:07:375 (6) - think about using ctrl + h for this slider to make a z-shaped back-and forth motion. The guitar in the background is like an echo of the one before so the pattern could also echo that a bit. This way you also add some jumps and stuff... maybe like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3059621 (this could also be personal preference but this makes the map a bit more... juicy)
  6. 00:11:796 (1,2,3,4) - this plays weird because the singer sings the same two times. Instead i would use some circulating sliders.
  7. 00:12:901 (1) - here's a clear emphasize with the snair in the background and the screaming vocals. so add a soft-finish
  8. 00:15:506 (7) - delete this circle. there's no sound and don't overmapp pls.
  9. 00:15:901 (2) - make this slider into two circles because the vocal is strong on that sliderend and it shouldn't be played like off-beat, imo. then stack the circle with 00:16:217 (3) - (like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3059637)
  10. 00:24:270 (5) - instead of stacking with 00:24:112 (4) - stack it with 00:24:428 (1) - I think you should move the cursor before that because else it doesn't feel really played... and stuff..
  11. 00:41:322 (3,4) - ctrl + g those two for a nice circle flow. else there's a flow break.
  12. 00:42:743 (3,4,5) - fix the triangle
  13. 00:44:480 (1) - you can also ctrl + g this slider to get a clockwise flow. this plays better, imo
  14. 00:49:217 (5,6) - ctrl + g because there's a flowbreak again. this will be a bit off with the slider next, but that's okay because there's a little stop and you can break flow a bit better there. This is a lot better than before.
  15. rest seems fine.
Hard

  1. 00:17:954 (1,3) - fix that blanket
  2. 00:12:901 (1) - add a hitsound finish (soft finish) here
  3. 00:42:428 (2,3,4) - fix that triangle
  4. 00:45:743 (1) - not sure if that slider is rankable because you don't really know how fast this goes and it's not that easy to read. consider using another slider. (also this ones ugly af)
  5. 00:48:270 (1) - ctrl g for a better flow.
  6. 01:06:743 (3,4,5) - again a bad triangle.
  7. 01:26:954 (3,4) - not sure if that jump's okay for a hard.
  8. This hard difficulty plays more like a light insane. consider making some patterns easier and tune down some of your jumps.

  2. 00:09:743 (4) - ^
  3. 00:18:270 (2,3) - normals are a lot about looks. consider making this one line. this looks not tidy.
  4. 00:23:480 (2) - move this down a bit for looks
  5. 00:30:112 (5) - this could be a bit confusing for newer players. consider making two sliders out of this one.
  6. 00:42:112 (4) - move this one to 00:41:954 - and add a circle at 00:42:428 (5) - the drums are really strong here and shouldn't be ignored for that light thing i dont even consider important.
  7. 00:49:059 (2,3) - make a line with those two?
  8. 01:00:428 (3) - this slider touches the hp-bar. please put it down.
Easy

  1. 00:09:112 (5) - add a hitfinish here. like in all the other diffs. HITFINISHES are best wooooo
  2. 00:20:480 (1,2) - try to blanket these two?
  3. 00:45:743 (1,2) - not sure but this is very much on top of the map and maybe you should put this a bit down.
  4. 01:17:480 (1) - i'm not sure about this slider. about readability and stuff. consider changing it into something easier to read.
That's all. Good luck with your map ~

  1. 00:02:006 (3) - this could be a bit nazi modding but please make the triangle perfect with moving the circle to: x:342 and y:281. This looks better and also plays better because the player has the same distances between the three circles.
  2. 00:02:164 (4) - you should consider adding a drum clap or a drum finish here. There's a little drum-break at this point and maybe emphasize that.
I do like the soft finish so I will keep that for now
  3. 00:02:638 (5) - - if you added a drum clap before add a hit finish here for a little build up.
    Made a drum hitsound
  4. 00:06:743 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - make a diamond shape: make the distance between 00:06:743 (1,2) - and 00:07:059 (3,4) - the same. Because the music is nearly the same and that makes for better flow and it also looks much neater.
Ahh I wasnt going for neatness with this song xD. This is just simple zig zag flow and I wasnt planning on making any shapes here
  5. 00:07:375 (6) - think about using ctrl + h for this slider to make a z-shaped back-and forth motion. The guitar in the background is like an echo of the one before so the pattern could also echo that a bit. This way you also add some jumps and stuff... maybe like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3059621 (this could also be personal preference but this makes the map a bit more... juicy)
D: I think the straightforward flow here is fine
  6. 00:11:796 (1,2,3,4) - this plays weird because the singer sings the same two times. Instead i would use some circulating sliders.
Ahh I was going with some stacked circles to emphasise the repetition but I will take this as suggestion
  7. 00:12:901 (1) - here's a clear emphasize with the snair in the background and the screaming vocals. so add a soft-finish
Oh i just want to keep this quiet section... quiet, so i didn't want finishes on this part
  8. 00:15:506 (7) - delete this circle. there's no sound and don't overmapp pls.
I was trying to use the triple as a way to emphasise her voice. People are saying im undermapping and overmapping so I can't win lol. I will just leave this here until more people point this out
  9. 00:15:901 (2) - make this slider into two circles because the vocal is strong on that sliderend and it shouldn't be played like off-beat, imo. then stack the circle with 00:16:217 (3) - (like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3059637)
White tick slider isnt too bad to play when mapped to the rhythm so I will keep this for now
  10. 00:24:270 (5) - instead of stacking with 00:24:112 (4) - stack it with 00:24:428 (1) - I think you should move the cursor before that because else it doesn't feel really played... and stuff..
    Done
  11. 00:41:322 (3,4) - ctrl + g those two for a nice circle flow. else there's a flow break.
    Done
  12. 00:42:743 (3,4,5) - fix the triangle
    Sorta done?
  13. 00:44:480 (1) - you can also ctrl + g this slider to get a clockwise flow. this plays better, imo
But there is already clockwise flow D:
  14. 00:49:217 (5,6) - ctrl + g because there's a flowbreak again. this will be a bit off with the slider next, but that's okay because there's a little stop and you can break flow a bit better there. This is a lot better than before.
    Intentional flowbreak :)
  15. rest seems fine.
Hard

  1. 00:17:954 (1,3) - fix that blanket
  2. 00:12:901 (1) - add a hitsound finish (soft finish) here
    Same reasoning as before
  3. 00:42:428 (2,3,4) - fix that triangle
  4. 00:45:743 (1) - not sure if that slider is rankable because you don't really know how fast this goes and it's not that easy to read. consider using another slider. (also this ones ugly af)

good choice on the clap hitsound, not going to be going super in-depth because cannot be assed

easy
fine

normal
also fine

hard
00:27:743 (4,5) - swap the places of these two? leads to a more flowing combo (you make a counter-clockwise oval rather than a zig-zag with a line down at the end)
00:34:849 (2) - Angle this so the end doesn't overlap with (1)? If you angle it towards (3), you'll even have a sort of loop-de-loop movement pattern with 3,4,5,1.

insane

Hello hello~

[Insane]

00:04:217 (1,2,3,4) - I like the idea of the speedup, however I find it really contradicting that the spacing decreases .. how about increasing it instead? It fits a speedup-progressing-pattern (wtf) better.
00:07:375 (6,7,8) - Since the tune of sliderendof6, 7 and 8 is the same, I suggest using the same spacing between those; just to assure that it fits the song perfectly.
00:09:743 (3) - Not a big deal, but it's quite close to 1. Doesn't affect the gameplay, makes it look more polished tho.
00:11:796 (1,2,3,4) - The vocals are really fun here (imo, since it's a repeating one, guru guru? xD), so in my opinion something with more movement wouldn't hurt. How about a left right left right pattern? CTRL + G 00:11:954 (2,3) - those would fix it. Obviously, up to you.
00:14:480 (2,3,4) - Any reason why the spacing on those is so small? Could benefit from a slightly bigger spacing, to let the player fully enjoy the movement (without slowing down for no reason?)
00:23:006 (1) - When there was a heavy vocal, you emphasized it. But not here, why? Increase the spacing is what I suggest; maybe like http://puu.sh/hB1bs/30e2e1ee3f.jpg ?
00:45:743 (1) - Not saying everything has to be consistent, but it appeared weird to me that you decided on a specialslider shape,00:47:006 (1) - while htis is just a curve again - while having the same circumstances. How about making these at least consistent?
00:48:270 (1) - ^
01:01:059 (1) - This small part could benefit from some additional hitsound. How about a finish on top of that? 01:01:375 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Maybe add some whistles (somewhere) or drumhitsounds somewhere in that part, to spice it up.
01:09:743 (1) - Should definitely be a jump to fully emphasize the finish.
01:23:796 (1) - How about a speedup on that slider? The song sounds like.. it's releasing energy (uh what), so I think letting the player feel that would be cool. (Only this slider tho)
01:28:691 (4) - What do you think about covering the guitar sound with a cool slider? Slider end of it should be silenced.

I like your mapping style a lot, it flows well to me! However, I wish sometimes you would take care more of where to put jumps and where not (for example, when there's a downbeat you could put one.. etc)

Good luck!

Hi, I owe you a mod.

[General]

|Definitely not a major problem, but I think the combo colours could be more fitting to the background. Maybe use the red that appears in the bottom right-hand corner instead of pink and combo 4 could be white or something.

[Easy]

|Those soft whistles in the beginning don't really fit imo. I think it is more effective to pronounce the background sounds that are the most intense, meaning the head of 00:00:428 (1) and of 00:02:954 (4) - , as well as 00:04:217 (5) - and 00:04:849 (6) - . What about adding drum-hitwhistles on 5? Oh, and this actually applies to all other diffs.
|00:45:743 (1,2) - You might as well use the same slider and use ctrl+h+g. Probably helps visualizing this a bit more properly.
|00:55:691 (6,7) - Unclean distance snapping.

The rest seems to be just fine.

[Normal]

Can't really say anything to this one, it looks good and I suck at modding Normals.

[Hard]

|00:27:585 (3,4,5) - Move this triangle a little bit to the right to make a better-looking pattern with the upcoming slider.
|00:42:743 (4,5) - Same here, I also don't see any reason for this not-so-significant spacing change.
|00:45:585 (4,1) - Players enter this slider (1) with a weird angle. If you move it to the left, it will make the transition from pattern to pattern a lot more fluent. Also, I suggest adjusting the curve a bit. After rearranging everything to keep up the previous distance snap, the suggested pattern would look like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3095829 (It's not exactly the tidiest, but you will be better off rearraging the other objects as you prefer.
If you applied this change, make 00:46:691 (4) - parallel to 00:47:006 (1) - .
|01:28:533 (4) - Turn this into 2 circles to pronounce the ending a bit better.

[Insane]

|00:04:217 (1,2,3,4) - I think increasing the spacing already does the job, especially because the following sliders don't have the same speed as (4). So I recommend not to increase the SV for those 4 marked sliders.

The flow in the middle of the map is really well kept up, nice work.

I don't know why, but I expected a lot less from this set. It's actually really well made. Good luck!

Although there is already a ranked version of the song's map, I'll give the proof of the title anyway, taken directly from LiSA's official website.

Let's check this map!

*Bolded = Unrankable or very, very strongly suggested; red = Highly suggested or questionable (still weaker than the bolded ones); black = Minor suggestions/rants; blue = Notes/advices to avoid/fix repeated problems. Also note that hitsound suggestions on a diff may apply on similar parts of the song and the other diffs of the mapset.

>Easy
  1. 00:01:691 (2) - Move the node on the tail to (404,153) so the slider's curve will follow 00:00:428 (1)'s tail much better?
  2. 00:09:743 - Why not add a finish too? There's a cymbal sound to follow here.
  3. 00:44:480 - ^ (And 00:45:743 and 00:47:006. And maybe a few others. Care to explain why do you cover these with whistles most of the time? Also applies to the entire mapset.)
  4. 01:12:428 (1,2) - Try this rhythm? Goes way better with the music, and is more easily followed.
  5. 01:14:954 (4,5) - ^
  6. 01:17:480 (1,2) - End (1) at 01:18:270 and start (2) at 01:18:585? Same reason as 01:12:428 (1,2).
>Normal
  1. 00:24:428 (5,6,1) - Spacing error.
  2. 00:32:164 (3,4) - ^
  3. 00:47:006 (2,1) - ^
  4. 01:16:533 (5,6) - ^
  5. 01:17:954 (2,3) - ^
  6. 01:23:796 (2,3) - ^ (You may want to check the entire diff for spacing inconsistencies.)

  1. 00:49:533 (1,2) - Try to make them not touch each other for the sake of neatness?
>Insane
  1. 01:02:006 (8,9,1) - Might as well make the spacing consistent so they'll look tidier.
  2. 01:12:270 (2,1) - Uh again, you may want to make these sliders not touch each other. Either that, or make 01:12:112 (1,2,1) touch equally.
Pretty much just that.

  1. 00:01:691 (2) - Move the node on the tail to (404,153) so the slider's curve will follow 00:00:428 (1)'s tail much better?
So you mean a blanket :p Fixed
  2. 00:09:743 - Why not add a finish too? There's a cymbal sound to follow here.
  3. 00:44:480 - ^ (And 00:45:743 and 00:47:006. And maybe a few others. Care to explain why do you cover these with whistles most of the time? Also applies to the entire mapset.)
I mean I've checked through the entire mapset for hitsounding and I only use the finish when i really want to emphasise the music so sometimes parts that may need more emphasis, I don't do it and I simply use a whistle instead.
  4. 01:12:428 (1,2) - Try this rhythm? Goes way better with the music, and is more easily followed.
Unfortunately I think the rhythm here at the moment is very consistent and is fine to me. They're all on white ticks so I don't think rhythm is an issue here
  5. 01:14:954 (4,5) - ^
  6. 01:17:480 (1,2) - End (1) at 01:18:270 and start (2) at 01:18:585? Same reason as 01:12:428 (1,2).
Did something else to keep consistency with the previous section
>Normal
  1. 00:24:428 (5,6,1) - Spacing error.

  4. 01:16:533 (5,6) - ^
  5. 01:17:954 (2,3) - ^
  6. 01:23:796 (2,3) - ^ (You may want to check the entire diff for spacing inconsistencies.)
You just made me realise that the numbers at the top right tell me about the spacing lol. Adjusted and checked all distance snaps

  1. 00:49:533 (1,2) - Try to make them not touch each other for the sake of neatness?
Adjusted. Didn't know they were touching

■ Remove unused greenlines: 00:00:428 - 00:10:059 - 01:28:059 - (I assume you use the same greenlines for every diff (I took them from Easy)) Apparently this does not count for Insane.

[Easy]
■ I'd suggest that you double the amount of NCs in this diff, as that would support the 4/4 logic. This means, stuff like 00:02:954 (4) -, 00:08:006 (4) - and 00:15:585 (4) - (etc) should ne NC'd.

00:17:954 (1) - There are two problems with this: a) It is placed on a redtick, which makes it usually harder to play, as the player might only be comfortable with basic 1/1 rhythms - and b) The spacing is too much. You can imagine the spacing being related to the timeline - the more space inbetween two objects, the longer the break is.

The easiest way to fix that would probably to move (1) closer to (6).
If you want to kee a basic rhythm (which also kinda fixed problem a)), then you could consider using something like this http://puu.sh/hZO9F/464822e14e.jpg
(Note: If you worry about skipping that beat where the current object is on, take a look at 00:02:322 (3) - You also skipped that one beat here in order to hold a basic rhythm - Same thing :3)
■ You could add notes on 00:27:901 - and 00:29:164 - . It might look like it'll be hectic to play, but it'll actually help the player hold the rhythm (since (4) is kinda alone over there)
■ Same goes for 00:31:691 - and 00:36:743 -
■ 00:56:006 (7) - I'd suggest that you do something like this to this section. The player knows the Slider-to-Slider 1/2 transition by now, so that one should fit more into this as opposed to a weirdish break
■ 01:08:638 (3) - Curve the last bit more to properly blanket 01:09:585 (4) - . You already have a tick there, use it :3

[Normal]
■ 00:05:954 (2) - I'd suggest that you keep these "triplets" (idk, 3 object transition thingies) straight without any fancy curve like this one. It'd be easier to play, which wouldnt harm that diff at all
■ 00:31:691 (2) - For some reason this one feels really out of place. Maybe try one of these? This section is rather weird to map in a Normal, so I dont blame you

■ 00:49:059 (2) - Change to a repeat maybe?
■ 01:16:849 (6,7) - For some reason I dont like this one. Uh. Maybe have this one be like 01:11:796 (4,5) - ?

Kinda lacks in visuals, but that's okay

[Hard]
■ 00:09:585 (2) - Blanket this one maybe? Would improve the flow imo (loop flow > zigzag)
■ 00:42:743 (4) - Like this? (Slider instead of Circle, Circle instead of Slider)

■ 00:59:085 (4) - Remove. Dont think a triplet is neccessary here
■ 01:16:059 (1) - Move this one a bit so that its trail doesnt touch the previous object
■ 01:20:322 (2) - 504/200?

Something buggs me in this diff, but I cant quite point it out

■ Amazing

I always see this as not a problem since I'm lazy and nobody will notice the greenlines during gameplay anyways :p. If there is some effect that actually affects the gameplay, I will delete the greenlines.

Difficulty should be fine here. Straightened it

Red tick slider should be fine

Ive been away for the Weekend, catch me ingame for a recheck and stuff.

(Also, just remove the Greenlines. I cant find the post, but I think ppy once said something about then and since then everyone's removing unused ones. Ive also seen something about DQs in the BNSG, but I think that was off context)

08:44 byfar: dude
08:44 byfar: i do xd
08:45 toybot: k i'll nc the big slider
08:45 byfar: 00:19:217 (1) - r u mapping the uh low sound in the bg or the vocals
08:45 byfar: 00:20:006 (2) - i think u should remove this
08:46 toybot: low sound
08:46 byfar: and extend the slider
08:46 byfar: the vocals land on blue tick
08:46 byfar: and theres an empty beat on the red tick
08:46 toybot: eh
08:46 byfar: o
08:46 toybot: theres a vocal 00:20:006 - that i wanted to accent
08:47 byfar: ok
08:47 byfar: 00:22:375 (4,5,6) - move lower a bit to increase spacing?
08:47 toybot: okey
08:50 byfar: 00:51:349 - add a 1/4? or intentional
08:50 toybot: intentional
08:50 byfar: ok
08:51 byfar: 00:57:112 (1,2,3) - so for this uhm bring 2 closer the slider and get a spacing emphasis on 3? http://puu.sh/ieGis/e5efa06b1c.jpg
08:51 byfar: also i dont think 00:57:743 (3,4,5,6) - this particularly flows really well
08:52 byfar: actually jk
08:52 byfar: that one s fime
08:53 byfar: 01:00:743 (7,1) - i thought this spacing was slightly weird
08:53 byfar: compared to the rest esp on emphasis
08:53 byfar: complete stack or space out more?
08:54 toybot: gonna space out more
08:55 byfar: 01:17:480 (1,2,3) - yo these are some weak jumps
08:55 byfar: for like a change
08:55 toybot: btw i put 2 closer to slider for the last sugg
08:55 byfar: o nic
08:55 byfar: like the pitch suddenly becomes flat
08:55 byfar: and
08:55 byfar: i thought it was pretty distressing
08:55 byfar: so immo jump feels better
08:56 byfar: 01:15:428 (2) - imo stack on 3
08:57 byfar: 01:16:059 (1,2) - stack felt weird
08:57 byfar: 01:16:533 (2) - change in pitch on guitar
08:57 byfar: 01:15:428 (2,3) - same sound in guitar so stack (thats how i do it)
08:57 byfar: so it feels like a hold
08:57 byfar: or smth
08:57 toybot: idk man
08:57 toybot: 01:16:691 (3,4,1,2,3) - made a blanket
08:58 toybot: so i just put the circle in the blanket
08:58 byfar: alright
08:58 byfar: nice
08:58 byfar: that works too
08:58 byfar: i mean the stack i feel
08:58 byfar: emphasizes 01:16:059 (1) -
08:58 byfar: a lot better
08:58 byfar: theres a finish
08:58 byfar: which i felt was like kmeh
08:58 toybot: meh idk
08:58 byfar: ok
08:59 byfar: 01:17:480 (1,2,3) - space out more?
09:00 toybot: i changed 3 into two circles
09:00 toybot: it increased diff by .01
09:00 toybot: worth
09:01 byfar: 01:22:375 (7,8,1) -
09:01 byfar: use same spacing as prev triple
09:01 byfar: or bigger?
09:01 byfar: or decrease previous triple
09:03 toybot: increased spacing
09:04 byfar: oh and i thought that the spacing from 1/4 slider to this slider 01:17:480 (1) -
09:04 byfar: is a bit too small immo
09:04 byfar: plays slightly awkward
09:04 byfar: not sure if its the flow into it
09:04 byfar: or the spacing
09:04 toybot: im just gonna remap that stream
09:08 byfar: yea i got nothin else
09:08 byfar: its really good alrdy

toybot asked for some quick check on his diff:

[toytoy]
  1. 00:02:164 (2) - This looks awful lol, why not make an actual snakeslider.
    Fix dem all: 01:05:954 (1) -
  2. 00:02:006 (1,2) - NC switch.
  3. 00:09:743 (1) - Why extended slider here, put it in comparison to 00:09:112 (1) -. Either make both extended or regularly snapped for consistency.
  4. 00:10:375 (1) - Slider here, fits better to the e-guitar nad makes for a good transition to the next section.
  5. 00:12:901 (1) - Yo, where's the finish. Also, best slidershape (see above)
  6. 00:20:164 (1) - Two circles because two strong beats, and do some nice stuff with it:
  7. 00:49:928 (2,4) - Man, this sounds clearly overmapped, delete and do something, jumps or such.
  8. 00:51:980 (4,5,6) - Thanks for caring for the players (mentioned beats are overmapped, and you sure you want to keep that spacing lol)
  9. 00:52:533 (2) - If you want to keep that extended slider already, at least keep it consistent and do same at 00:53:796 (2,3) -
  10. 00:55:849 (4) - That finish on the tail hurts, delete.
  11. 01:01:928 (4,1) - Streamjumps should only happen when there is a significant change/beat in the music to reason it. It's okay for 01:02:243 (4,1) - , but the one I mention has no reason for it to be there. Just because the vocals jump back in is no valid reason. Equalize the spacing here.
  12. 01:12:428 (1) - 415|82 for alignment with the previous stream please.
  13. 01:15:428 (2) - This combined with 01:14:638 (5) - chops the flow pretty hard imo, why isn't this a slider.
  14. 01:18:585 (1) - ^
  15. 01:19:375 (1,2) - Bad slider leniency man, how about:
  16. 01:23:480 (1) - Delete NC, don't need more emphasis.
Overall it's fine, just take care of how to use streamjumps properly.

Heya, one quick thing for toybot (talked with Hinsvar about that)

We'd both suggest to somehow work around having 00:20:006 (2) - as a clickable object. The Slider before that seems to be mapping that pitch-decreasing sound (idk what that is D:) while the Circle in question is mapping the vocals with no real beat behind it. Removing/changing it would also emphasize 00:20:164 (1,2) - more, which isnt all that bad.

feel free to pm me ingame.
