Me parece que el mapa tiene ciertos fallos en cuestión de ritmo en el minuto 00:22:002 (7) - , me parece que puede haber un circulo más.
Este comentario es para el mapa en hard, igual en términos generales el mapa está muy bien.
Por otro lado, ese mapa en insane es una bazofia.

Try Offset -843. It should feel exactly the same as 80. It is more correct and more useful to use -843, because you have pick-up notes to the first bar, and takes into consideration the accented beat 1.

General

:idea: Tienes que mappear al menos el 80% de la canción para que sea rankeable
:idea: Coloca un preview point en algún lugar como el coro para escuchar la 'pre' de la canción. timing>set current position as preview point.
:idea: Hay algunas notas e inherits points no snappeadas
:idea: Hay algunas inconsistencias de source en Normal diff
:idea: Trata de mantener una misma duración para todos los kiai de todas las diffs, no es obligación pero sería mejor.

Sólo daré sugerencias de spacing, estética, hitsounds y New combos.


EruJazz's Insane
  1. Cambia el nombre de la diff a EruJazz' Insane, cuando una palabra en inglés termina con Z o S no se debe agregar apostrofe S ya que sonaría rebundante, simplemente agrega el ' al final de nombre.
  2. Otra sugerencia, trata de usar una distancia constante para todas las notas, pero eso no significa que no puedas hacer una variación de ella pero obviamente tiene que ser lógica y legible.

  1. El AR promedio y muy acertado es AR5 para una normal, AR7 es muy rápido para un iniciante. OD3 y HP3
    :!: Utiliza siempre una distance snap constante, los cambios bruscos de distance suelen ser complejos de leer para un iniciante, a demás que son recomendados para diffs como hard e insanes.
Creo que con esto es suficiente por ahora, voy a seguir moddeando luego pero esta vez será un IR C mod para que podamos conversar y mejorar el mapset completo. esto va para todos los integrantes de este proyecto. And also I just see this but 01:13:694 (4) and 01:14:156 (6) aren't stack properly.

Randomly stumbled around this map.

The spacing between all objects in a Normal (and easier) diff must be the same; else the diff's gonna be unrankable. And yes, even if the 00:04:233 (2,3,4) pattern in Normal does fit the song, it's not allowed here. It's okay in a Hard (or harder) diff, but not in a Normal (or easier) diff, and even then, it will be really confusing to players. I recommend to use 1.0x distance spacing here.

Also, it seems like pife tends to place New Combos randomly. Place them consistently every one or two stanzas at the beginning of one.

Please avoid overlaps like 00:56:849 (5,6,7), as it looks really messy and can be confusing to players.

Ah, and the correct (or probably better, anyway) kiai times are 00:47:157 - 00:54:080, 00:54:541 - 01:00:080, 01:09:310 - 01:12:541, 01:13:003 - 01:16:695, and 01:33:310 - 01:47:618. You're supposed to start and end them exactly at spots where the music begins to go stronger compared to the rest of the song.

Oh, in Hard, 00:28:695 (6) is supposed to be snapped at 1/3, from 00:28:695 - 00:30:387 (look at EruJazz's diff). Same case with 00:13:926 (3). And again, avoid overlaps like 00:33:080 (6,2) and 00:57:771 (5,6,7); they look really bad.

Plus, why 01:23:617 (4,1) in Hard looks really weird... Just end 01:23:617 (4) exactly at 01:24:080 and 01:24:541 (1) at 01:25:003. You should map 00:32:849 too, since the instrument here really "demands" to be mapped.

Nah, and the overall design here in Hard feels really messed up too. It feels like all the circles and sliders are randomly placed...

More stuff to say: You seem to overuse claps at times. For example, you used lots of claps at 01:08:848 (1,2,3,4,5) (in Hard again). Remove all the claps and add whistles to (2), (4), and (5)?

In EruJazz's diff, you (Eru) badly overmapped at 00:10:464 (1) and 00:10:810, so avoid mapping these spots... And just saying, 00:34:233 | 00:34:695 and 00:35:157 are supposed to be mapped because the instruments are loud enough that they can make the players feel awkward while playing the diff if the sounds are unmapped. Oh, and 00:35:618 should be mapped by placing a circle or the repeat of a slider there; a slider tick just won't cut it...

One minor thing (still in Eru's diff until I say otherwise): Add a clap at 00:40:926 (2) to follow the instrument.

01:07:003 (2,3,4) - This kind of pattern should be avoided even in an Insane diff, as this just serves as a badly-done trap that is generally disliked by players.

At 01:45:541 (4,5,6), nothing can be heard from the song on the blue ticks, so you should only add circles or sliders at 01:45:541, 01:45:772, and 01:46:003...

Sometimes overmapping is okay, but only when it doesn't make the player feel awkward while going through it. Just saying.

And for 01:37:695 (2)... it's not recommended for a slider to be made this curved, as it looks weird. Make it less curved ofc.

Looking at Muse's Insane... Why this diff doesn't show any background? It should have one, you know.

Okay, I'll assume that all of you are newcomers to the world of mapping, so I'll tolerate all these things; you guys actually seem to have some talent in this, you just need to learn more about what should and should not be done while making a map.

I really recommend to remap the entire map from scratch, and keep in mind of what have I said. Try to look at other well-made maps too (those that look good in terms of design, rhythm, and hitsound placement); they'll really help you in deciding what are you supposed to do.

Also, for the Insane mappers, 1.4-1.5 SV at this BPM is really slow... I recommend 1.8-2.0 SV. Anything might work for an Insane diff, but try to use any value in the range of 1.8-2.0 for the slider velocity.

Sometimes overmapping is okay, but only when it doesn't make the player feel awkward while going through it. Just saying. yep ^_^

And for 01:37:695 (2)... it's not recommended for a slider to be made this curved, as it looks weird. Make it less curved ofc.hehe, Okay.

Oh, in Hard, 00:28:695 (6) is supposed to be snapped at 1/3, from 00:28:695 - 00:30:387 (look at EruJazz's diff). Same case with 00:13:926 (3). And again, avoid overlaps like 00:33:080 (6,2) and 00:57:771 (5,6,7); they look really bad.

Plus, why 01:23:617 (4,1) in Hard looks really weird... Just end 01:23:617 (4) exactly at 01:24:080 and 01:24:541 (1) at 01:25:003. You should map 00:32:849 too, since the instrument here really "demands" to be mapped.

Nah, and the overall design here in Hard feels really messed up too. It feels like all the circles and sliders are randomly placed...

More stuff to say: You seem to overuse claps at times. For example, you used lots of claps at 01:08:848 (1,2,3,4,5) (in Hard again). Remove all the claps and add whistles to (2), (4), and (5)?

General: Oh boy. OGPlanet. I played Rumble Fighter. That community was awful.

Okay. This map is great. Easily identifiable beat, no weird notes, no stacking and such. Nothing for me to say here. (:

00:00:310 (1,2) - Something is weird here. I feel like circle 2 was unexpected, perhaps not stacking it would make no-so-unexpected, I have no idea.

Other than that, this chart is great.

00:00:310 (1,2,3,4) - Perhaps make these like a square?
00:28:695 (8) - Jeez, I hate notes like this. I never know when they end. I guess this is okay, but I would just map something else here.

01:25:695 (4) - Distance snapping is weird.
01:45:541 (4,5,6) - Maybe make these circles? The sliders are kinda unnecessary here.

  2. 00:42:310 (2,3,4) - Hmm, not sure if the 0.6x SV is really necessary here. Leave it if you believe it fits this part of the song, but I don't think there's an evident change in tempo or anything.
  3. 00:55:926 (4) - Ctrl+G. Flows better imo.
  4. 01:04:464 (1) - You need to extend this slider so the tail is on the red tick. The red tick is where you can here the beat. Here for reference 01:05:387.
  5. 01:07:695 (1) - It would be better if you could replace this spinner with a couple of notes. It's a short spinner that doesn't really fit - there is a defined drum beat in this section.
  6. 01:16:695 (1) - Please neaten this slider up. Make the bottom of the 'W' even.
  7. 01:43:464 (2,3,4,5,1) - Overlap the ends of the sliders better (including (1) of the next combo). Use grid level 4.

  1. 00:17:157 - Add a note here to form a triplet with 00:16:695 (5,6).
  2. 00:18:080 - ^ It plays better as a triple because there is a blatant drum beat you're missing.
  3. 00:26:157 & 00:26:387 - Umm, map these claps that you can hear in the song?
  4. 01:00:195 - 01:01:003 - ??? Why the blank space? Well I understand if your mapping solely to the instrumental..

Hard
  1. 00:13:926 (7) - Hit sounds here would suit nicely. For the bass, maybe find a custom hit sound to fit, or use the drum sample set.
  2. 00:28:695 (8) - These notes are actually 1/6 notes, see EruJazz's Insane. But I guess you leave it to avoid complexity. Just pointing out that it's not the right timing.

Normal
  1. Nice.

Easy
  1. 00:45:310 (5) - I like this slider! :)

Overall, pretty nice map set. I must say that Hard, Normal & Easy are more enjoyable - not because they're easier than the Insane GDs, but because of hit sounds and intuitiveness regarding the beat, rather than solely to the instrumental. This is personal opinion of course. Each difficulty does have it's own merits. I would also like to see a hit sound for the bass drum, it would make this map even better :)

Overall, pretty nice map set. I would also like to see a hit sound for the bass drum, it would make this map even better :) Indeed they're a lot of better, I noticed it when I finished my difficulty and compared it with those diffs. This is my first time mapping and I think I picked the wrong diff to start with. Thanks a lot for your modding!.

Hey~ m4m from my queue

Add 1 second of Audio Lead-in (Song Setup>Audio) so that the first note comes in two seconds after the time starts, which is what's required for rank

[Easy]
Keep slider velocity all the same! It helps immensely with patterning, and the difference at this low of an SV will not be noticed at all. Not to mention it's unrankable
I would recommend using tiny grid snap, so that you can perfect your patterning.


00:21:310 (1,3) - These two notes aren't perfectly symmetrical around (2). The best way to fix this is to copy (1), rotate it 180 (ctrl + . twice) and then ctrl + g. This way, the two sliders will be exactly the same.
00:25:003 (5,6,1) - The increased spacing here is a big no-no. Keep it all at 1.0
00:26:849 (1,3) - Overlapping is very highly discouraged in Easy difficulties. I would fix the spacing pointed out here^ and then remake this long slider so that it fits within the boundaries and spacing without overlap
00:31:003 (2,3,4) - These should be arranged like something similar to this so that they are much more symmetrical and keep good spacing
00:37:003 (3,1) - minor spacing issue
00:44:849 (4) - x:208 y:260 for spacing
00:49:464 (4,1) - minor spacing issue
01:07:926 (7,1,2) - The placement here could definitely improve, with a messy overlap and poor spacing.

From this point on, the varying slider speeds are a pretty large issue in my opinion. Please change these all to 1.0 and adjust the sliders and spacing accordingly, and then continue to find mods to improve patterning. (although, you can do a lot of what I suggested on your own with simply a critical look at your own map)

Again, changing slider speeds are stunting this map's improvement. Please keep them consistent

00:02:849 (5) - Rotate this clockwise 21 degrees (select and hit shift+ctrl+r) and then move to x:436 y:52, for clean spacing
00:04:233 (2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - Ok, I moved a lot of things around in this section. Here's the code for it, I think this is much cleaner.

From 00:47:157 - to 00:54:541 - it would be easiest on you to find one slider that looks really good ( I would recommend 00:52:695 (2) - ), copy it, and use that same slider for all of these, since they're the same general shape. Some are going in different directions, which is easily fixed with ctrl + . and ctrl + g
01:02:387 (3,4,5) - Tidy this up a bit, I would use the (5) slider for (4) (removing the repeat, of course), plus the spacing gets odd.
01:09:310 (2,1) - Nazi overlap :P easy fix with grid snap
01:35:157 (4,5) - minor spacing issue
01:36:541 (1,2) - same as^

The flow feels fine for the most part. Some spacings could use some work though.

00:02:157 (2,3,4,5) - It wouldn't be a stretch to turn these into a perfect square.
00:04:926 (5,6,7) - spacing
00:04:003 (3,4,1) - Move all three of these to x:256, y:88 so that they stack
00:07:926 (6) - x:484 y:180 for good, clear spacing
00:08:387 (1,5) - stack these
00:13:926 (7) - This repeating slider should be in 1/3 time, not 1/4
00:28:695 (8) - same as ^
00:36:080 (4,1,2) - The blanket pattern here could use some touching up. I would use the (2) slider for both, since it looks nicer
00:44:964 (1) - VERY much against this spinner, it comes in far too fast and doesn't last long enough. I would just use a longer slider to get the same effect
00:47:387 (4,5,2,3) - While these jumps do make sense with the music, the idea is continued on for the rest of the musical phrase. Keep the idea consistent, either lower these jumps or add jumps at places like 00:49:233 (1,2) - and 00:54:771 (2,3) -
01:02:848 (5,1,2,3) - I would recommend this rhythm, so that the notes on blue ticks are at the ends of sliders
01:06:540 (3) - x:204 y:152 for a perfect triangle
01:09:310 (3,4,5) - I like the pattern here, however move (3) to x:256 y:140, (4) to x:324 y:72, and (5) to x:372 y:148 for perfect symmetry
01:10:463 (7,1,2,3) - Not a fan of the clap spam here, remove a couple
01:41:387 (3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - With the way that this circles back in on itself, it looks very confusing and doesn't play well. I can't think of a good solution other than redoing these with that in mind.

There's a lot of awkward breaks in the mapping that I feel disrupt the flow quite a bit. Some hard to distinguish spacing and odd beats make it unintuitive to read at points

00:05:156 (1,2) - I don't think this jump is placed well, it might be best to not have one here at all
00:11:156 (4) - This note is very hidden by (1,2) before it, I would suggest moving it farther away
00:13:695 - I would put one more 1/2 slider here and start the spinner at 00:14:041 - instead
00:19:349 (4) - (nazi) grid space left
00:26:157 - I hear two claps here that I think should be mapped
00:27:195 (4) - End this on the red tick and then add another note where it ended before, to fit the rhythm better
00:28:695 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - Woah! This 1/3 stream comes out of nowhere, especially since the spacing isn't drastic enough to warn the player. Increase this much more, I'd say 1.2 perhaps?
00:39:541 (5) - I'm not a fan of repeats with a higher number, since they usually feel very odd unless they're in a 1/4 stream. I think you should reduce this by one and then add a note in place of that last repeat
00:49:464 (5,6,7,8) - Bit of a messy overlap, I think moving (7,8) down and to the left would work well
01:00:080 (1,2,3,4,5) - This stream is 1/3, and yet you mapped over it with 1/4 D:
01:02:849 (4,1) - I would turn this into one slider, so (1) isn't on a blue tick
01:07:464 - Map this part as well! it feels very empty with those notes ignored
01:15:541 (5) - Again, repeating sliders with a rhythm this slow just feel odd to me. I think you could even just do 5 circles here, to go with the intensifying bass notes
01:38:272 (1,2) - I know this goes with the guitar, but man does it feel strange. Perhaps this could work?
01:50:849 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - again, the 1/3 here just isn't apparent enough, so some higher spacing is in order

Actually pretty nice, the symmetrical patterning works for this kind of song, and most of the spacing is pretty apparent. I'm not a fan of the huge sv slowdown near the beginnning, but other than that good job

I could sit here and nazi your patterns all day, but it wouldn't provide you with anything constructive. That's something you can easily do on your own with grid snap and using the coordinates in the top right corner to help figure out (calculator!) where each note should be to keep it symmetrical. If you would like some help on how I approach symmetry like this feel free to ask me in game, and I'll point out a few things if I'm not busy. Remember, the slightly bolded white lines in the grid are the center axes. Those are what you work off of

00:12:080 (1,2,3,4,5) - I don't recommend these notes being hidden underneath the slider before them, I would try and find another pattern here to avoid that
00:14:157 (1) - This spinner is unrankable. It's too short. Please remove it
00:30:541 - As I stated earlier, I don't like how slow this part gets, especially since you keep using higher spacing. I understand that it would be a lot of work at this point to increase it, however I think that would be for the best. It can still be slow, say 0.8, it's just too low to be comfortable right now.
00:54:541 (1,2,3,4) - Make sure that the slider you copy paste from is level before you do!
01:07:580 (6) - These notes here are 1/3, not 1/4. Adjust your repeating slider accordingly, you can get to 1/3 with the Beat Snap Divisor bar in the upper right.
