03:15:284 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - This pattern just didn't seem fitting for me. Use more 'jumpy' pattern like before and after this.

04:27:990 (6,7) - omg dat hole is good

Sorry for this very short and probably bad mod. This is all I could find because all the basic mistakes has been pointed out by others :^)

nice map! i couldn't find much to say about it :P it's already quite nice

01:04:166 (3,4,5) - maybe put switch 4 and 5 for a back-and-forth pattern? and then move the following note and slider closer
01:10:343 (5,6) - maybe put the slider at 01:10:343 first and then a note at 01:10:872? seems to flow better this way imo :P
01:29:049 (1) - seems a little close to the previous note
02:16:872 - possibly add a note here?
02:17:754 (10) - suggestion for another pattern: remove rebounding in this slider, and insert a long slider which starts at 02:18:107 and ends at 02:18:460
02:23:401 (5) - i like this :3
02:32:401 (4) - move this closer to the following slider so that it's more symmetrical

ok first of all you need to hitsound your map. you can see the basic hitsounding here though by no means you have to follow everything consistently all the time, you should do whatever fits the song.

some parts of the map were pretty bald, such as 01:07:872 - to 01:19:166 - you just placed notes randomly just for sake of protecting ds without any different slider shapes else than straight ones. try to increase spacing on strong sounds such as 01:13:872 - and 01:14:578 - and 01:15:990 - etc and try to reduce distance on notes that are not strong such as 01:14:049 (3) - 01:14:754 (6) - 01:15:460 (3) - 01:16:872 (2) - .
and please try to make strong sounds clickable (you don't have to do it always, but *usually* you want them clickable, such as 01:12:460 - and 01:12:990 - and 01:13:166 - . this should help you
please try to use curve sliders or one-red-point sliders a little more on that section, its so bald and boring.

Just wanna say for starters Au5 and Fractl songs are some of my fav so, thanks for letting my know this exists :P
Second off looking at what diraimur said, you NEEEEEEEEED to hitsound this, if anything just hitsound the kick and snare

If you want to hitsound individual slider ends / parts of a slider just double click on it, it should highlight red
And you can choose from soft hitsounds, drums or normal. It really helps the player to follow where they are and just sounds a lot better.

On a related note, I recommend moving these notes 00:23:401 (2) - together at x:256 y:310 so the spacing is more even overall. Just a screenshot to give you an idea of what I mean.

00:25:343 (7,1,2,3) - Highly suggest the following change: Move 00:25:343 (7) - to x:154 y:152. This is for better movement from the previous sliders. Then move 00:26:401 (1) - to x:288 y:50, move 00:26:578 (2) - to x:382 y:74 and 00:26:754 (3) - to x:432 y:156. Why do I suggest this? because currently the jump to (7) is pretty unconfortable considering the shape of that slider and the angle you use to jump to it. Then afterward (1,2,3) are all kinda closer and don't have such good movement as well so by moving these notes to these positions you have better overall movement.

00:41:401 (4) - ctrl+g on this would play pretty nice.

00:55:519 (4,1) - Move this combo up a little bit more so the jump to 00:56:225 (2) - doesn't feel too awkward.

01:24:813 (7) - This would be better as a 1/2 slider.

02:25:519 (3) - definitely wanna ctrl+g this to better suit the drums.

02:26:578 (6) - Move this to x:144 y:88. It kind of mirrors 02:24:813 (1,2,3) - and that's what makes this neat. Plus considering the difficulty of the map this is not at all as hard to play as it looks. Something like this. It could maybe look a bit neater but just to show you what I mean.

02:26:931 (1,2,3,4) - Youl'll probably get a lot of complaints about this pattern because they overlap and look a bit messy. I don't know how willing you are to change this to another pattern but I think you can get your point across trying something different for these 4 sliders. Here's a few screenshots of a possible change but there can be many possibilities. SS1 SS2 SS3

02:52:872 - 02:53:049 - 02:53:225 - Feels a bit empty not having anything here even if you are following the vocals. The synthy instrument is pretty loud and ignoring it is a bit weird. Maybe a slider and reverse arrow would work but you might have to move the other notes closer so it's more playable.

02:57:107 - Highly recommend another note here. The small pause doesn't fit the music even if tries to follow the vocals it's a bit too sudden. If you wanna follow the vocals and keep the momentum going then change 02:56:931 (4) - to a 1/2 slider

03:55:166 (2) - NC

03:55:872 (1) - Also NC. I'd also say 03:56:049 (2) - would be better stacked over this note because of the short 1/1 movement between the sliders prior and it'd be a good transition that way however I wouldn't suggest this because it would mean changing this pattern 03:56:049 (2,1) - which is kinda nice.

04:21:813 (5) - Small suggestion but ctrl + h on this slider looks a bit nicer like this

04:22:343 (6) - If you applied the suggestion from before I'd also rotate it something like this

04:22:696 (1) - This would be much better to play as a single note and if you applied the previous suggestions it might be somehting like this

04:40:696 (7) - I highly suggest this change: move this slider in the timeline to 04:40:519 - (the red tick before) and then add a reverse arrow. That way it fills the missing rhythm which better follows the music and also has a nice snap from the previous note and into the next slider. Like this

05:13:343 (1) - I'd end the spinner at 05:16:343 -


I like where you're going with this. It has the potential to be a very nice map with more polished patterns and fixing the movement/flow between some of the sliders.

Didn't point those out because I didn't have a lot of time unfortunately xd so hopefully other mods can help with that.

I like where you're going with this. It has the potential to be a very nice map with more polished patterns and fixing the movement/flow between some of the sliders.

01:27:638 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - this stream is probably too difficult for some with 4.86 stars. i recommend using a lower distance snap because this is quite largely spaced and probably belongs to one of those 6 star stream maps lul

- tooooo many different sv in your map, makes it sometimes confusing. I recommend use no more than 5 sv in a part. Of course, the slider - you really want to emphasize can have the sv you want, but can't too often.
- make a SB to show who made which part :3
- just personal opinion, you can focus more on flow. Some slider can be adjusted to a better direction.
- check and fix green line like 01:25:078
- ctrl+a the whole map and you will see you haven't made the full use of the area (not a big problem tho)

you already have "dnb" in your tags but not "Drum and Bass" so you could add that.
you could also use tags like "electronic" "EDM" and such which people use when they want to search for edm songs (and non-anime songs).
also please nerf the jump section its too difficult compared to the rest of the map and gives inconsistent difficulty

Very playable currently, got halfway through despite the highest star song ive done is 4.5*
Most of the problems i saw were with the whole map itself, not specific parts.

First things first, for the really dubsteppy parts, i find the slider speed changes to be un noticeable, they could be made more drastic.
You should also make the dubstep parts look more ornate and harder to read, from my experience a dubstep map should keep you on edge and have you constantly ready for a sudden speed change, it could look like this part 03:45:990 (1) - 03:56:578 (1) -
Also i noticed that the second drop is a copy and paste of the first one, imo the second chorus or drop of a map should be a bit harder than the first.
Hitsounding as well, i saw some people complaining. Check out Ice Angel if you dont have it already, ktgster made great use of hitsounds on the map. https://osu.ppy.sh/s/297933
If the problem is that the finish sounds like something unimportant in your skin, i suggest getting more distinct hit sounds, you will realize how awful this 03:45:460 (5) - sounds if the finish is an actual cymbal hit, ive done it before when i had barely noticeable finish.
00:13:166 (1) - and 00:20:313 (1) - Those spinners feel weird at the start, you could map notes and sliders to the synth in the background instead of a spinner to a barely noticeable noise
02:23:401 (6) - try making the middle of that more round, it stood out a lot during gameplay.
03:55:519 (1,1) - these two are landing after the main drum hits by a fraction of a second, listen to them on 25% speed, try adjusting the timing of them so they land earlier

00:32:225 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - It feels weird here to have the same spacing and emphasis when there are no vocals, since it is being mapped to the back ground instruments which are way quieter and calmer, I think this and similar parts should be far calmer too to reflect the tone when there are no vocals around however you wish to do so.
00:50:931 (1,2) - No need for such a snappy, jagged and high spaced part here! No strong sounds or anything to call for it o/
00:55:872 - Kinda weird to have a strong sound on a slider reverse imo, if anything having a this slider be notes that are either normal or jump spacing would make more sense with the instruments here
01:21:107 (3,4) - *ahem* fix blanket move slider like 2 pixels right blahblah blanket
01:24:813 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Would be cool if these had increasing velocities to work with the buildup happening in the background here tbh, or increasing spacing per slider

00:50:931 (1,2) - No need for such a snappy, jagged and high spaced part here! No strong sounds or anything to call for it o/ Fixed o/

  1. 00:35:754 (4) - this slider looks pretty awkward due you skip vocal in 00:35:931 - change to 1 circle 1 slider like http://puu.sh/qcTs6/44ea7d4f92.jpg or something else
  2. 00:41:401 (4,5) - flow direction a bit awkward, it is can be okay but i'd suggest you put pattern like this http://puu.sh/qcTC1/fe676da49d.jpg to keep your flow direction flows good
  3. 00:45:284 (1) - move to 508|124 or somewhere else to make cymbal effect more powerful
  4. 00:49:166 (5,1) - this distance is too high and i think it doesn't deserve distance like this, reducing distance to 1.6x can make this emphasize more better (if you disagree "insert Essay contains good reason here")
  5. 00:55:696 (3) - it is okay you map this with a circles if the music needs it, maybe some jump on that pattern can make that part more interesting
  6. 01:10:696 (1) - i think this drum finish is really overatted to song, feels random, needs to be removed

Don't have much, this is a great map, and I hope it get's ranked.

The only thing I noticed was during the buildup. I think you could emphasize the snare a bit better at times, example: 01:10:696 (1) -
I think it would be better, if the snare was emphasized with a single note or a slider, it doesn't really work with a slider end in my opinion.
An alternative could be something like this (but not exactly this, this could be greatly improved):
This will also emphasize the kick drum at the same time


Same goes for similar parts, like
01:12:107 (1,2,3) -
01:16:343 (1,2,3) -
etc...

Also, I think the offset should be -5 or -10, but that's probably a bit nit-picky (though I feel like it's noticeable, especially in the stream).

Dropping my opinion here for the reason you cna see above.

Jumps lack connection with the music, for example01:09:813 (3,4,5,6,7) - here, sometimes it's the other way round and strong beats lack jumps or proper emphasis, so players have nothing to click on. Example: 00:52:343 - here. Apart from that, velocity changes are causing confusion and don't feel very natural, for example 01:53:049 (1,2,3) - here. If only we could think of organizing them in a more readable way. Maybe some combo color-coding (red - fast / blue - slow).

Also, 04:59:401 - a strong beat is unclickable here. Pointing that out for the sake of pointing it out. Read more here

Now to some more personal stuff, I dislike sliders like 02:29:401 (1,2) - as the curves appear untidy and messy to me. However, this is just my opinion and you are free to disagree.

To conclude, I can not say that I liked the map. It's not bad, and you're definitely doing a lot of cool things here, yet, it is far from something that I would consider a high quality map. Overa I have a feeling that jumps are missing or used inappropriately every now and then. Keep improving, good luck!

This is a NM unless you decide to m4m from Ora's queue. This is also my first mod so I will try to be as humble and as objective as possible. I really like this song and I think this map has a lot of potential. :)
1. The note at 01:41:049 (2) which is located on a snare drum hit was a bit awkward for me to play. I would consider extending the slider at 01:40:343 (1) all the way to the snare drum. It just took me a bit off guard. There are places where you create a similar effect throughout the song (ex. 01:46:696 (4,5)) using sliders, but you've mapped the sliders in a way that is a much more clear indication to me that they are very close in rhythm. Here are all the other places where this occurs: 03:48:637 (4,2,2). 04:24:637 (2). 01:43:872 (5). 04:07:872 (2). 04:16:166 (2). 04:17:578 (6).
2. The note at 00:59:225 (4) acts as a mediator between patterns 00:58:696 (1,2,3) and 00:59:401 (5,6,...). I would certainly consider working on the spacing so that 00:59:225 (4) feels connected to both patterns. In general this pattern felt a bit too artificial, sorry if that is too vague.
3. The stream starting from 01:27:637 (1) might be a little too spaced? I would think about tightening it up as it is pretty difficult when compared to the rest of the song. Or some other work around; maybe I just suck :D
4. 03:45:284 (4) - I like the way this note is placed, it puts a lot of emphasis on the snare drum in a part of the song that I think could use some emphasis, but it seems a little alone. This section of the song starting with 03:40:343 (2) feels a bit sharper and starts to jump around in volume as the song climaxes so maybe consider adding more sharp notes to personify that, or maybe just move the note on 03:45:284 (4) to not jump out of place. Or do nothing :D
5. I have trouble finishing the slider on 04:22:343 (4), because of the note on 04:22:696 (1). I tend to get a 100.
6. 04:39:284 (4,5) - Again a similar case to #1 but this is the only case where it is two sliders and felt a bit forced.
7. I might make 04:06:990 (4) the beginning of a combo with 04:07:166 (1,2,3), it seems to be a bit visually awkward as is. Here are all the other places where this occurs: 00:24:460 (4). 02:50:049 (3). 02:56:049 (8). 03:09:107 (5).
I'd like to make a couple of general observations that may prove to be useful. Firstly, this song has a lot of flow and I like that you've mapped clearly with flow heavily in mind (perhaps more so than usual.) Each part of the map that lacks flow is of course emphasized and I think adding "sharper" parts might give the map a more dynamic feel, only in places where the song sharpens up of course. An example of this would be at my favorite part of the map: 01:13:872 (2) all the way to 01:18:990 (6). The song sort of loops in circles and the ovular shapes you make with your hand seem to follow it well. Then at 01:19:166 (1) all the way to 01:27:284 (4) the song gets "sharper,' characterized mainly by the drums slowing down, but you've mapped it in a way where it continues to flow really smoothly. In parts like this I think adding a few unnatural jumps that follow accents of the song might add a lot.
The second thing is even more opinionated: this song is like a low 4 star song difficulty-wise throughout most of it (maybe even easier than that), because of the amount of sliders. Then there are a couple sections that get way harder, causing the total difficulty to go up of course. This phenomena occurs pretty often in a lot of maps so it's not a huge deal, but I would start brainstorming ways you can more evenly distribute that difficulty.
I doubt most of what I've said is very useful but I hope I helped, even if just a bit.

Hi, from queue. Reminder a lot of these are just my suggestions, not all of them are crucial

General stuff seems fine.

00:18:460 (1,2,3) - not that important but this could use same spacing between objects for blanketing

00:26:401 (1,2) - is fine, bust stack would be consistent with how you map these vocals in this section

00:28:343 (6) - end it on white tick, unlike in osu!mania in standard you don't have to be precise with fading out long sounds, landing slider end on some sort of beat will usually be better (unless it's very strong), this creates unnecessary 5/4 distance into next object and skips the downbeat 00:29:049 (7) - where a feint soundscape sound exists.

00:30:813 (1,2) - nice slider but blanket is visibly off, maybe you use gridsnap? turn it if you do and use ctrl+arrows on (1) for cleaner look 408:253 should work


00:48:107 (1) - ctrl+G for more impactful flow

00:56:225 (1) - could use distance similar to 00:55:872 (4,5) - for more impact it's sort of close now

01:09:637 (2,3,4) - approach angle from 2-3 into 4 is awkward, accents feel messed up to, try starting slider on 01:09:813 (3) - timing

Also, yes that was an excuse :p I tend to skip players that aren't 5 digits-1 digit because they often pick some bs map that destroy the whole lobby/is just generally annoying. Sorry. xd
Small mod though, I can't really think well at 2am. I'm tired! xd (These are all suggestions, you don't need to change anything if you don't want, nor kd this if this doesn't help you)

I think ar8.6 is good for this map. Not too fast, not too slow either. Seems to fit with the map, somewhat calm but not too much.

00:11:402 (1,2) - I don't get the need of having 2 sliders here. Having a single one that finishes at 00:12:460 - seems to suffice.
00:37:519 (8) - Possibly blanket this with the last slider?
01:29:225 (2) - I guess you could move this a bit closer to the last note of the stream. Not too close though.
01:32:578 (5) - You could turn this upside down and still blanket with the note right before.

Overall the map is great, I like the way you structured most of it. Good luck with ranking it!
