Since this beatmap is over 3 minutes long... I will just mod hard mode.

00:02:422 I recommend you space (6) and (7) out.

00:03:089 I think you should use the same slider and just reverse it like this. It looks neater.



00:04:422 I think you should change the curve of the slider so it fits (1) and the angle (1) to fit the curve of (3). It looks a bit more appealing than when (1) is flat.



If you go through with that ^ Here's how you ould possibly change the rest to fit. But of course, it's my opinion, and you can find a different pattern. I slowed the AR so you could see it.



00:08:922 I think I can tell what you're aiming for. Was it more of the lines of this shape? Also, maybe switch around the middle one for some fun loopdy loop? Completely optional.

The spacing thing I found a lot can gradually become expected. But for the first chorus or so, it's hard to grasp. If you go about changing it towards the beginning, you would have to change it throughout the whole thing. But that's not hard. Just move it. :P

Wow, very solid map as far as I can tell halfway through this mod. xD Pretty skin, clean BG, thorough hitsounding and SVing. Blankets tidy all around, along with consistent spacing and rhythm throughout the maps. Pretty close to rankable, I'd say.

[General]

  1. I feel that the kiai time exceeding 1/3 of the map could be less identifiable if perhaps the 03:48:422-outro were normal. That or removing the kiai before to let this be a kiai on it's own. In a 4 minute song where the chorus repeats 3 times, then bridges like this it could be a bit daunting. Even though it doesn't affect "that" much, such a consideration could improve the overall balanced feel of your mapset. Think about it again is all I can offer.
  2. Really great job on being so thorough and intricate with the SV's and hitsounding. I can feel passion emanating from the song.

    1. Couldn't find anything unrankable or worth tending to in this difficulty to be improved, nice job!

    3. 02:24:089 (5,1) - I feel like reversing the order or the single and slider would carry the lyric better. While showing a nice alternation after 02:22:422 (2,3,4)
    4. 03:48:422 (1,2) - I'll assume this is preference due to it being a copy, but I still think this one could be improved by placing directly under or approximating the blanket you're going for.

    1. 00:31:756 (3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Nice job making that red tick an okay starting point.
    2. 01:20:756 (1,2,3,4) - Suuuper creative and I love it. I'm not sure if this is rankable because there's no noticable change in the actual speed or rhythm of the song. Despite it being a repeated beat in the track, it builds up into a fancy slider with a seemingly random velocity.
      ~Compare this to the insane of Saiya - Remote Control 01:19:591 (1,2,3,4); a change in pitch and length of the note both change to merit the SV changes.
    3. 01:52:422 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I think this combo could use some more..."unf". Have you experimented with spacing these out a tiny bit to make small directional jumps? (4) and (5) both have that snare bang feeling to it, but I feel like I just hit a button and a snare went off. Y'know. p:
    4. 02:27:422 (1,2,3,4) - These feel better <3
    5. 03:20:422 (2) - This shape feels over-emphasized, or too fast for the outstanding lyric. Especially in comparison to the shape of the previous one. Reconsider? o:
    6. 03:32:422 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2) - I highly recommend letting (1,2) be (7,8) because it helps shape the following pattern colours.
    7. 03:35:089 (3) - ^After the above, making this a new combo - making symmetrical shapes within the same combo
    8. 03:36:422 (1,2,3) - ^^Make it your (7,8,9)
    9. 03:37:756 (4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - ^^^Finally, making this a succession of 1,2,3 - 1,2,3 - 1,2,3 will match the lyrics perfectly while fitting your repeaters at 03:37:256 in their combo so it's not improperly combo'd with your lyrics that start at 03:37:756 (4).
  3. 04:08:422 (6) - Love these kinda notes, so glad this happened. p: Works as a (6) or a (1); preference. Flip a coin on it or something.
Very enjoyable map, and the background change for the [Hard] was a plus. I approve. I expect to see this bubbled soon, great job once again. Good luck on doing so, and feel free to ask any questions about anything I've critiqued~

  15. - This diff is okay, but some distance spacing is off the track and at for sometime, it breaks a few flow of pattern. But it's not a serious major issue for your need.

You're actually good at making easier diffs, but when it goes to harder difficulty, the mapping gets more issues. But hoping you can improve it.

00:15:089 (3) - I REALLY hate modding nazis, but I could notice this blanket is a bit wrong testplaying it, I'd strongly recommend to fix it.

00:19:756 (2) - You can improve the flow by rotating this slider a bit, press Ctrl + Shift + R, check Selection Centre and turn it 15º, see if you like it, also if you accept this, don't forget to adjust the 00:21:089 (3) - DS.

Hi there. Came to mod as requested.
Since Insane isn't complete yet, I'll focus on modding the other diffs.

[Overview]

  1. Standard Ranking Criteria wrote:

  2. I think you use many timing sections to change volume and hitsounds. So many that makes me thing some of them may not be needed, but I don't know since you might use them to do something I can't notice.
  3. You should read this post and check your spinners all across the difficulties, since there seem to be cases of disqualification due to spinner issues. I'm glad my map is safe u.u
  4. The Ranking Criteria has a guideline saying the volumes of slider tick hitsounds should be a little more quieter than hitsounds made from other elements (i. e. circles, sliders' starts and ends, and spinners), so, uh... You should check it.
  5. And yeah, you need some Audio Lead-In. Based on Offset, I suggest 1577 ms of Audio Lead-In (this gives players like 2000 ms of preparation to start playing, since it seems AiBat suggests that value).
  6. You should map using Grid Size 4 (or the "Tiny" one) to be able to do a wider variety of patterns and prettier blankets. Just press G until "Grid Size: Tiny" appears.
  7. Eh... you should end your diffs in the same spot, and Hard ends after Easy and Normal. And yeah, since 1/4 is too hard to read on Easy and Normal, you should -at least- place a circle at 04:08:422 - to end "at the same spot" as closely as possible.

[Easy]

  1. Nice diff in terms of rhythm, but I can't help but feel that flow is kinda weird here.
  2. Before beginning, some reminder you'll have to keep in mind:
    1. If I suggest to move a note and you follow the suggestion, you should move the other notes to avoid spacing issues.
  3. 00:19:756 (2,3) - I think the flow here is incredibly ankward, since slider (2) aims at a different direction than where slider (3) is, making flow weird and creating some imaginary "distance" (what I mean is that you feel like the object is far away than what it should be). My suggestion here is to move slider (3) to the direction slider (2) is aiming for. If not possible, at least aim for a curve trajectory (for example, something like this) to get a smoother flow.
  4. 00:28:756 (3,4) - I also think flow here is a little weird, and I think it can be solved if you move circle (4) a bit down (to x:256|y:312 aprox.) so that you have the same kind of flow you got on 00:28:089 (2,3) -
  5. 00:40:422 (1,2) - Yeah... I also think flow is weird here, since both sliders aim at very opposite directions. For the flow to be smoother, I would make both sliders' curve the opposite, so that they create some curve kind of flow. And, who knows, you might be able to make a blanket with them.
    Here's what I mean

  6. 01:19:089 (1,2,3,4,5) - Through rhythm is okay here, the way you map it is kinda ankward to play for beginners. You can add a reverse at sliders (1) and (3) to make it easier to play. It will look like this on the timeline, through last circle is still kinda ankward to play since there's a gap of 3/2 beats between it and previous element.
  7. 01:23:089 ~ 01:26:922 - I think the break here is unneeded, and it can be easily mapped, since there's some nice and playable rhythm here.
  8. 02:25:756 (1,2,3,4) - Clicking 3/2 beat notes is a little ankward for beginners, but I can't think of a better way to map here. Forgive me. :cry:
  9. I think next break (02:29:756 - ) should begin like this instead, since downbeat and tempo change are present there.
  10. 02:51:089 ~ 02:55:756 - I don't think the break here is necessary, and this part should be mapped for consistency between diffs (Normal and Hard have it mapped, and most likely Insane will have it mapped, too).
  11. 03:24:422 ~ 03:27:422 - Make this break start normally to have consistency between your diffs.
  12. 04:04:922 (1,2,3) - You should replace those three circles as a slider with a reverse, to avoid the most 3/2 clicks possible.

I still love your mapping style, Modem.

I'll end this mod later. Have to do some IRL things, but from what I could see from a quick check, this map is going perfectly fine.

[Hard]

  1. First of all, it seems your spacing is just too inconsistent in this diff. I don't even know if you used Distance Snap on this diff, since spacing has a lot of different values. It doesn't play bad, but some modders (including me) suggest to use a constant DS unless you're planning on doing a short jump.
  2. 00:13:089 (5,1) - Check your blanket here (if you wanted to blanket here, that is).
  3. 00:29:256 (5,6,7) - This sudden transition from 1/1 rhythm to 1/2 rhythm is kinda hard to read. Even I lost my combo (and believe me, it's pretty hard for me to lose my combo on a Hard). You should make those three circles a 1/2 slider with reverse (like 00:28:089 (3) - ) and then continue with the 1/2 beat circles 00:29:756 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - as they are.
  4. 01:24:256 ~ 01:26:922 - Same as other diffs (first break).
  5. 01:27:589 (3) - Eh... a wiggle slider. It's okay to use it, I wonder? Honestly, I don't think those wiggles are the best idea (and I don't like how they look like), when you can just go and slow down the slider using a green timing section (and it seems they are kinda restricted nowadays, so it might be mentioned by BATs/QATs).
  6. 01:48:089 (3,4) - Check blanket here.
  7. 01:54:589 (6) - You can make this a triplet instead (just for fun, since it's only a reverse in a 1/4 slider).
  8. 02:40:422 (1,2,3,4) - You should check your blankets on those sliders.
  9. 02:44:089 (3,4,5) - ^^
  10. 03:00:589 (3) - Another wiggle slider...
  11. 03:58:256 (5,6) - I feel like mentioning those two because you can blanket them.
  12. Yeah... Rhythm is good, but the way you place the elements is kinda ankward to play on some places (which are few). Even still, I like the way you use sliders and the shapes you do with them. They're good.

You should end all the difficulties at a similar place. Insane goes way further, and even Normal and Easy do not follow Hard. Place something at 04:08:422 for Normal and Easy and either move the finish at the end of Insane, or do something about the other difficulties as well

  5. And yeah, you need some Audio Lead-In. Based on Offset, I suggest 1577 ms of Audio Lead-In (this gives players like 2000 ms of preparation to start playing, since it seems AiBat suggests that value). Okay, I'll use 2000 ms
  6. You should map using Grid Size 4 (or the "Tiny" one) to be able to do a wider variety of patterns and prettier blankets. Just press G until "Grid Size: Tiny" appears. Ummm.... I feel comfortable mapping with this grid size, so no change, sorry....
  7. Eh... you should end your diffs in the same spot, and Hard ends after Easy and Normal. And yeah, since 1/4 is too hard to read on Easy and Normal, you should -at least- place a circle at 04:08:422 - to end "at the same spot" as closely as possible. Okay, I'll wait for another modders opinion then :oops:

  1. Nice diff in terms of rhythm, but I can't help but feel that flow is kinda weird here.
  2. Before beginning, some reminder you'll have to keep in mind:
    1. If I suggest to move a note and you follow the suggestion, you should move the other notes to avoid spacing issues.
  3. 00:19:756 (2,3) - I think the flow here is incredibly ankward, since slider (2) aims at a different direction than where slider (3) is, making flow weird and creating some imaginary "distance" (what I mean is that you feel like the object is far away than what it should be). My suggestion here is to move slider (3) to the direction slider (2) is aiming for. If not possible, at least aim for a curve trajectory (for example, something like this) to get a smoother flow. Nope, sorry.... Actually I really planning on keep the distance as opposite
  4. 00:28:756 (3,4) - I also think flow here is a little weird, and I think it can be solved if you move circle (4) a bit down (to x:256|y:312 aprox.) so that you have the same kind of flow you got on 00:28:089 (2,3) - Nope, sorry... Since I wanna to keep it so it will form a blanket with 00:29:756 (1) ;)
  5. 00:40:422 (1,2) - Yeah... I also think flow is weird here, since both sliders aim at very opposite directions. For the flow to be smoother, I would make both sliders' curve the opposite, so that they create some curve kind of flow. And, who knows, you might be able to make a blanket with them.

  7. 01:23:089 ~ 01:26:922 - I think the break here is unneeded, and it can be easily mapped, since there's some nice and playable rhythm here. Umm.... I'll wait for another modder's opinion
  8. 02:25:756 (1,2,3,4) - Clicking 3/2 beat notes is a little ankward for beginners, but I can't think of a better way to map here. Forgive me. :cry: It's alright ;) Don't cry (o w o)/ I'll wait for another modders opinion ;) ;)

  2. 00:13:089 (5,1) - Check your blanket here (if you wanted to blanket here, that is). The blanket looks fine for me, so no change sorry.....
  3. 00:29:256 (5,6,7) - This sudden transition from 1/1 rhythm to 1/2 rhythm is kinda hard to read. Even I lost my combo (and believe me, it's pretty hard for me to lose my combo on a Hard). You should make those three circles a 1/2 slider with reverse (like 00:28:089 (3) - ) and then continue with the 1/2 beat circles 00:29:756 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - as they are.   4. Delete .osb files since you have no sb in the set. if you cant find it in your folder, download the set from website and del it and re-upload.

  1. ar1 is too low, and makes patterns like 01:05:422 (2,3,4) - hard to read to new players. I recommend to raise to 2 or 3.

A bit late to change this at this stage, but the red combo colour matches the background too well. For noob players (like me) this could be frustrating.
Stack leniency is a bit weird?
The play through is fast cursor wise, so the difficulty is pretty even throughout, but there aren't that many places where the difficulty increases for a short burst of time. I don't know if you prefer it this way, so I'll just point out suggestions if you want to make it more difficult.

Specific:

Made me annoyed during testplay:
01:10:922 (1,4) - these don't stack properly, so i didn't see (4) at all. (I missed also because i wasn't used to the skin :P)
01:59:616 (1,3) - The 3 is bottom right of the 1 slider, so it's hard to see. Nudge it two grids up and left?
02:20:756 - Triangles like these. There were a few of them and I don't really like how it's pretty impossible (for noob me, anyway) to read them on the first play. Consider offsetting the overlapping notes with a rotation or something so it's easier to read (but not harder to play)

Stack leniency is a bit weird?
The play through is fast cursor wise, so the difficulty is pretty even throughout, but there aren't that many places where the difficulty increases for a short burst of time. I don't know if you prefer it this way, so I'll just point out suggestions if you want to make it more difficult. yea finesse op

01:10:922 (1,4) - these don't stack properly, so i didn't see (4) at all. (I missed also because i wasn't used to the skin :P) theyre perfectly stacked doe
01:59:616 (1,3) - The 3 is bottom right of the 1 slider, so it's hard to see. Nudge it two grids up and left? flows fine cuz of (2)
02:20:756 - Triangles like these. There were a few of them and I don't really like how it's pretty impossible (for noob me, anyway) to read them on the first play. Consider offsetting the overlapping notes with a rotation or something so it's easier to read (but not harder to play) ehhh looks fine to me .-.

Hi there, coming from my queue because you won a mod.


[General]

My respect for the hitsounding system, looks like it was created with a lot of love and effort. I could argue a bit because of the custom sounds you chose, since they don't sound like they would perfectly fit into the song, but that's just me being picky. Also the skin looks nice, even though it doesn't seem to be related to the song. I approve of it and I have taken the cursor to implement it in my skin to test how well it works. There is only one thing that bothers me, being the spinner approach circle. I would rather suggest a bright, white circle, because the current element simply confuses players right away if they haven't seen such a thing yet.
The Spread is a little bit weird, I mean the difficulty jumps between E, H and I are consistent, but the normal really isn't. Guess I will find some things to make the easy a bit easier and the normal a bit harder to seperate those two a little. For making the spread even for all difficulties and not just for 3, you know. Thus I will not only mod hard and insane.


[Easy]

|00:02:089 (2,3,4) - Might be a little harsh for an Easy diff, I mean it's the beginning of the song and you throw those circles at players. You could also try deleting 2 and 4.
|Insert a break at 01:23:089 - , in between the two objects.
|01:20:422 (2,3,1) - This is a weird rhythm to follow and it might confuse greenhorns. What about using the vocals instead of the drumbeats (long slider from 01:20:422 - to 01:22:256 - or 01:22:422 - ) Additionally, you can transform the slider at the end into a singe circle on 01:23:089 - , it will prevent the pattern to become too dense.
|01:35:422 (3) - What about turning this straight slider into a curve and placing it like in the following example? It looks better, flows better from the previous objects' direction and to the next object.


|02:28:089 (4) - There are no guitar sounds to follow anymore, and yet the slider ends here with a finish sound. To support my previous point, I would use a long slider here and reduce the following object to a circle, same way like before.
|04:00:089 - ^

The ending's rhythm also is a bit weird, but I guess it's adequate to end a map like that.

[Normal]
In this diff, you can start using the rhythmical structure that I pointed out in the Easy diff at first. It's a bit more harsh and still not too hard for a normal.
|00:44:422 (4,1) - Just use the same slider here, copy 4, Ctrl+J+H and voila.
|02:13:756 (1) - i would increase the length of the spinner by another white tick. Not sure if that would be perfectly rankable tho, I just think the spinner ends on a very weird position at the moment.
|02:17:089 (3) - In terms of flow, this object would work a lot better if flipped by 180° and with Ctrl +G. You would support the curve of the circles with the direction of the slider (make it a whole curve): http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/2735643
|02:24:089 (5) - This does work as an object, but not rhythmically, since the main beat of the song lies on the slider end, which is not tapped, but released. better use 2 circles instead. The New Combo will lie on the second.
|02:49:422 (4,1,2) - The spacing is a little bit inconsistent here, use distance snap to allign them correctly (The issue is the distance between 4 and 1).

[Hard]

|00:20:089 (2) - Main beat issue again. use two circles or a circle and a slider.
|02:09:756 - Why is the SV increasing here? It just looks weird, so I'd suggest to make those 4 sliders have the same speed. I would understand this if the sliders afterwards were faster as well, but like this, it barely makes any sense.
|02:17:589 (6) - Hold Ctrl and press up to form a clean overlap with the 2 of the next combo.
|02:45:089 (5) - Ctrl+G? Flows better.
|03:03:089 - I'd rather work with sliders that repeat once here, two of those in a row, followed by either a not-repeating slider or 2 circles. Also, you can increase the distance a bit so it doesn't look too crowdy.

[Insane]

|00:13:589 (5) - Also main beat issue. Notes don't overlap cleanly either. In later parts, you used the method a lot better, but it doesn't fit here.
|00:27:089 (1,2) - Why is this jump so big all of a sudden? Previously and after this, you didn't really emphathise the sound in the background either, so there is no reason for this inconsistency. You should follow this example every time or you simplify this specific pattern like you did before and afterwards.
|01:19:089 (1,2) - unclean overlap. Ctrl holding + arrows are a great method to fix this.
|01:23:172 (1) - Other diffs use a bass sound on this objects end, please do it here as well.
|01:54:589 (3,4,5) - Overlap again.
01:58:256 (2) - ^ (I will not mention them any longer, there are quite a lot of unclean overlaps that should be checked.)
|01:59:589 (2,3,4) - Previous objects induce a clockwise cursor movement, however, these circles are to be hit by following them counter-clockwise. It is usable, but it's way better to use ctrl+G on 2 and 4 simultaneously to continue the original cursor movement for more flow. Don't forget to allign 02:00:089 (5,6) - so that there are no problems with the distance.
|03:58:589 (5,6) - This is optically weird, try to make some space between both objects to make it look less crowded.

|You might want to silence the spinner's end (5% vol. at the end of the object).
