Under HP5 it's quite impossible to fail unless the player processes like 100 misses which is almost 1/3 of the song. Therefore imo you can lower OD instead of HP if the overall difficulty is to be lowered. I'll use HP5 OD5 then. Density of notes is enough to differentiate difficulty.
