I am trying to customise my own skin and I used osuskinner as a starting place. But when I downloaded the skin (as .osk file) and put it into the osu! folder, the skin didn't do anything to change the osu! skin. Am I doing something wrong? And is that site unreliable for generating custom skins?

That site is terrible. It looks like the creator doesn't support it anymore, its outdated, new files can't beupdated and many other things.
However, it shouldn't give you a skin that can't be opened. Please link the skin you.

I have the skin file if you want to test it. I was also thinking it had to do with the file name tho but I could be wrong
