* You seem to be missing the Slider Border code. You must have it to compliment your hitcircle skin set. Please add this under the [Colour] section:

* I also noticed something else while fiddling around. The video offset is a tad late. Change it to -200ms please.

[Easy]

• 00:08:016 (1) - Add in a finish on this note to match with the music.
• 01:06:141 (1) - Remove the new combo on this note to match your combo pattern.
• 01:16:453 (2) - Manually add in a new combo on this slider. It's just a little combo bug.
• 01:08:953 (2,4,1) - These slider isn't really appealing visually. I recommend going with a normal arched slider:
• 01:19:266 (1,2,3,4) - I don't like how boxy this pattern is. I would change it to something more natural feeling, like this:
Technically, nothing. It's just that at some points in the map it feels too linear and boxed. Re-arrange some of the notes and give it a more natural feel.

[Normal]

• 00:41:766 (1,3) - Remove the awkward clap from the ends of these sliders. They don't really go with anything.
• 01:40:828 (3,4,6,7) - These stacks stop the flow in a weird/unnatural way. I also this it would fit the music better if you add in a note on 01:41:062 and 01:42:937 like this:

• 00:08:016 (1) - Add in a finish on this note to match the music.
• 00:32:391 (1,2,3) - Streaming after a 1/4 slider doesn't play very well and the way you have it here does not really fit the music very well. Substitute the slider for a single note on 00:32:391 -.
• 00:45:516 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Ugh, this stream is too linear. I really doesn't do the map justice. Spice it up and make it less boxy.
• 01:35:203 (8,9) - Starting the stream here give the pattern a really awkward flow. Change the stream like this:
• 01:42:703 (7) - Don't put in a kick slider in the middle of a slider stream like this. It's unexpected and messes the player up.
• 02:01:453 (7) - Remove one repeat to match the music. It also plays better this way.

[Taiko]
* HP Drain, OD, and AR should be lowered to 5 (-2)

• 01:21:141 (1) - This spinner seems better when it ends on 01:23:016 -.
• 01:54:422 (1) - This spinner is way to short in my opinion. Get rid of it is what I say.

[Overall]

Pretty solid map set. Well balanced and plays well. Though I'm pretty disappointed because of the linear and boxy patterns. Try to smooth everything out and give it a natural feel.
Star for now, though no forums star.

HP OD AR : HP,OD:No, since I feel better to set it at 7, 5 is too loose for Taiko. According Taiko Ranking Criteria, any map setting between 4-7 is OK. It seems that AR doesn't make sense in Taiko, I will set it back to 5.

01:21:141 (1) : Fixed.
01:54:422 (1): Is that mean it's too short in your opinion? I'm not good at English, sorry :( If so, since it's the last note, I would like not to fix it.

  1. A lo que agregaste un fail background, los botones de pausa y eso, deberias agregar tambien una imagen para pause-overlay.
[Gabe's Easy]

  • I don't like very much sliders with 1 repeat such as 00:12:234 (2) and 00:14:109 (5) because this is a easy diff. I think that long sliders intead of short ones with repeat are more suitable.
  1. 00:35:203 (2) - For some diversity with hitsounds, add a whistle here. Fits good with the vocals to me. All the diff sound very repetitive and boring only with claps and some finishes.
  2. 00:37:078 (4) - ^
  3. 00:57:703 (2) - ^
  4. 00:59:578 (4) - ^
  5. 01:05:203 (3) - ^
  6. 01:07:078 (6) - ^
  7. 01:27:703 (4) - ^ at the end and start of the slider.

  1. 00:07:547 (9) - Que tal si agregas un whistle aqui al comienzo del slider, pero al final no? También queda bien si le dejas whistle en el cuerpo del slider para que suene bien con el sonidito ese de fondo que se oye.
  2. 01:23:016 - De nuevo el mismo problema con el volumen de samples.
  3. 01:41:297 (1) - Este newcombo aqui no está bien en cuanto a tu pattern de combos. Como tus combos siguen la voz, deberías quitar este new combo y despues agregarselo a 01:41:531 (2).
  4. 01:43:406 (5) - Lo mismo que arriba. Como cambia la voz, el new combo debería estar aqui así que agrega nc aqui y quita nc de 01:43:875 (1) para seguir siguiendo la voz.
  5. 01:48:094 (1) - Este new combo es muy innecesario. Es además inconsistente con tus otros new combo. Te recomiendo que lo quites.
  6. 01:50:906 (6) - Y, para seguir aun la voz, un nc aqui queda perfecto en mi opinión. Si haces esto, luego debes arreglar que en 01:51:844 (4) haya nc por consistencia y cambio de voz, y luego remover nc de 01:52:078 (1).

    No tengo ganas de escribir las sugerencias de whistle que le dije a Gabe en su Easy, pero checkea las que son desde el minuto 01:24:891 en adelante. Te sugiero todos esos whistles que le dije. En general la dificultad está muy bien. Solo tiene unos pequeños problemitas con new combos pero solo son detalles simples que se arreglan facil.

    Muy buena diff en general~ No quiero escribir todas las sugerencias de whistle. De nuevo, fijate en lo que le puse a Gabe sobre whistles. Es exactamente lo mismo.
El mapa ya podria ser rankeado así como está. Espero que consigas un MAT pronto y lo rankees. Buena suerte!

But I think that it is okay to keep the yellow bar, as it does not trouble much.

Although they're played as triple notes, but in my opinion they have different feeling to Players. It's more like letting players feel cute and fuwafuwa.

And may I have a reason that you recommend me to remove those slider? I'm looking forward to your opinion. Thanks :)

Gabe's offset is +10 from the other maps

Anyways, your video is out of time. Go into the .osu files of your maps and look for this line:

Change the -200 into -140, and it should be virtually perfect (±10 ms). The insane diff seems to be missing this offset altogether.
The skinned hitcircle is a few pixels off from the center (as seen with the misalignment with the approach circle)... And I think you should fix this. If you're too lazy to do it, you can just ask me to it for you. o3o
On another note, the lighting.png actually looks so sexy <3. Good job on it! Usually people who do these kinds of star-lightings make super cluttered messes.

And now, off to the actual modding!~

At 2.81 stars, it's not really an easy, but okay...
The problem here is that you put in a bunch of 1/2 sliders, and while those may be pretty easy, they make the overall pace of the map too quick. However, seeing that the map already has so many mods and it's been so long, I'll let that go. A tip for next time though, just keep it simple with Easys; make a bunch of super long sliders.
00:23:016 (1,2,3,4) - Rather nazi, but you don't have these arranged in a perfect diamond shape. Either shift (2) up and (4) down, or move (1) to the right and (3) to the left.
00:38:953 (3,4,5) - Looks ugly and crooked. Either make them more slanted or keep them straight.
00:46:453 (2,3,4) - Similar situation here. I'd advise to keep the same angle from (1).
01:33:328 (3) - Slider tail's missing clap hitsound.
Other than these little aesthetic issues, the diff looks good and ready to go!

00:38:016 (1,2) - Very slight imperfection here - they're not aligned in the square pattern properly. Just move them 1 grid to the left.
00:39:891 (4,5) - These two aren't aligned perfectly horizontally either :( (5) is too high from (4) (by one grid).

I really like the rhythm and hitsounding of this diff, very nice~

    01:58:992 (4) - there is no reason for that one in the music

My general impression of this diff is: Too many straight lines and unused flow of sliders - when you got a bowy slidershape, continue the flow with the objects before to lead into the slider properly and make the objects continue the flow the slider gave.
Sliders are mostly flow-oriantated/-based/-giving objects and thus you should either base them on your flow or base your flow on which shapes you use but don't use an arcish slider and continue with straight lines.
You used way too many 90° angles, straight lines or awkward connections in between the single objects, it feels more like you placed object by object instead of mapping a whole map which has a fitting general impression.

I recommend rearranging this, keeping the general idea but adjust mostly the sliders and angles to be more fluent and less edgy and standing-alone since it currently feels as if you clustered one part to another without making them fit.



Hard:

Again, straight lines, though not as bad but try to change them though...
Also, many 90° angles (especcially in sliders), resulting in awkward curves, giving examples in the mod (same for redtick-sliders) - please watch out for more of these and fix them yourself, I'm sure you will come up with ideas.
The distance snap feels a bit monotoneous, use a higher one for the "tehteh"-sounds on which you put your whistles? It'd feel reasoned (as mentioned in Insane).
I find Drain 6 a bit high, reduce to 5?

  • 00:04:969 (3) - this should be 1/4
    00:19:031 (6,1) - these are too close to each other, 6's hitburst will overlap 1's slidertrack in an ugly way; also, I highly dislike 90°-angles (especcially in sliderpoints), adjust the curve aswell, please
    00:23:250 (2,3,4) - as an example for how to "fix" the straight lines, it feels like the 3 here could be moved 1 grid (size 4) down to fit the vocals better since these aren't "consistent on the same level" (since that'd only be possible if they were all monotoneous) - as you can hear, the vocal on 4 goes up again, so 3 would logically be placed lower than that to harmonize better
    00:36:141 (1,3) - ewwww... adjust these so they are symmetric to the Y-axis, the current state looks... ugly, tbh

Impression: Too many straight lines, 90° angles and awkwardly bowed sliders, also too many sliders starting on red ticks and thus resulting in a bad feel while playing - as in the Insane, base your flow and sliders more on each other and let them flow into and out of each other to create and overall impression, not single objects following on each other and give the map more of a general idea, feel and thought of "belonging together".

If you sit down for a while and give yourself more thoughts about flow and overall impression, this should not be a greater problem to fix and might result into a (much?) better overall-feeling on the map; also, little stuff like "wiggling" according to how high the vocals go, can let stuff feel way more fitting at parts as in the example of 00:23:250 (2,3,4).


@Normal which I didn't really take a look at: 00:11:766 (1,3) - adjust stuff like this properly so it's symmetric, please.
Check all your difficulties for similar stuff as I mentioned it in Hard and Insane!

Ok... so first thing is that you make everything linear (I think notes) and it's bad, you may use inteligent patterns.
It's not problem to use them I think.

Next thing is making sliders.
00:08:016 (1) - This is terrible one. But when the 2nd point is on x:264 y:120 and ending point on x:200 y:100 it looks pretty nice.
Please, use this ^ version of slider instead of bad shaped.
00:25:242 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - CTRL+J looks better.
00:53:016 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - This is not so good. Try to make them all shaped.
01:25:242 (2) - Move on x:304 y:164
01:25:359 (3) - Move on x:332 y:208
01:26:766 (1,2) - Swap NC for consistency.

Only problem of this map is that it's very linear and I recommend to use multiple snaps (but don't do it, if you'd do it nonproperly)

  1. I think PreviewTime: 38016 is better
[Easy]

  1. 01:27:703 (4) - Personally I don't like how this whistle sounds. What about to remove it from the slider's body?
  2. 01:53:016 (3) - New combo?
[Normal]

  1. Why are you using the same SV of the easy diff? I highly suggest you to increase it till 1.30/1.40
  2. 02:09:891 (6) - New combo like you did for the easy diff
[Hard]

  1. 01:08:016 (7) - New combo to keep consistency with the previous diffs
  2. 02:06:141 (1) - Don't overlap this slider with 02:04:266 (1). It's readable yes but the reverse arrow is covered by 02:04:266 (1)'s hitburst. It's better to avoid this unrankable issue.
  3. 02:09:891 (5) - New combo
[Insane]

  1. Old map's style xD it's enough fine to me

It was a suggestion from Leorda to add some whistle in that part. Also, I'm supposed to have a whistle sound at 01:28:172, but since it's a tick, we're trying to don't add sliderticks' hitsounds too much. If you can see, during this Kiai time, I'm always adding two whistle after some vocal. So I won't delete it :p
