The current ranking criteria that is up is wrong and outdated and buggy and idk why they haven't fixed it yet X_X_X_X_X_X_X. The maximum allowed was changed a couple of months ago as you can see here https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/516427

you only used: star.png - StrongColor.jpg - highlight.png - C-down.png - white.jpg - dot.png - pa.png - party.png - time.png - black.png - some element in font folder. make sure you delete or use that.

This diff looks pretty fine. Excpet for the sudden jacks at 00:34:079 and 01:32:745. They... really just doesn't fit at all with the rest of the diff. It's hard for nothing, It would just frustrate a player who can fc the rest of the beatmap, but breaks his combo because of those jacks. For the first jack part, do something like this and for the second jack part. do something like this.

sure, I had to figure it out myself too.

An anchor is similar to a jack but the difference is an anchor is more spread out.

Weber says it well: "lots of notes in one column compared to the rest of the columns"

Here's an example:

all the columns have an even amount of notes except for col 4 which has a note consistently on every beat. This creates an focus on one of the fingers which generally people say is bad. Personally I don't really care unless it's REALLY long but my rule of thumb is that if it's over 4 notes long, you should probably fix it.

This is just an example of a 1/1 anchor but they can be closer or further depending on the difficulty of the song. For example if you had an easy with a note in col 3 every second beat, I'd call that an anchor.

real example:

here I've circled all the anchors in this section of my diff (the blue note is the one you asked me to move to col 0). It depends on how hard the map is but here I've gone with the rule of "if the notes have a gap one beat or longer, the anchor is broken".

You can see that by moving the blue note to col 1, I've created an anchor of length 5 which is bad BUT what I didn't realize when I was mapping or responding to your mod is that by moving it to col 1, I had created an even longer anchor. So good observation! Fixed it now.

Okay P*Light's vocal samples still make me want to knife my ears, but let's give this a go.

- 00:02:079 (2079|3,2329|0) - Could have these in the same column to emphasize the repetition of the sound/pitch. The note after it can perhaps go in column 1 to make room.
- The way you've mapped this difficulty seems like the column placement is decided randomly. You could probably work in some more interesting motifs regarding pitch or repetition.
- 00:05:745 (5745|2,5912|0,6079|3) - Here's an example. The way the pitch slowly decreases suggests these notes go in the same direction. Doesn't matter if they go left or right.
- 00:11:079 (11079|2,11245|0,11412|1) - Same here.
- 00:12:745 (12745|3,12995|2,13245|0) - This could be made more interesting if they were all on the same column. Something to consider. Makes it feel more like playing with the song, and not just hitting some notes on top of it every now and then. Little things like this ultimately don't matter when it comes to playability, but it just adds something extra/creative.

- 00:39:412 (39412|0,40079|1,40745|3,41079|2,41245|0) - This is great!
- 00:43:079 (43079|3,43245|1,43412|2,43745|0,43912|3) - But then you ditch the pitch relevancy right away.
- 00:45:245 (45245|0,45412|2,45662|1,45912|0,46079|3,46412|1,46579|2) - This works a bit better, but 00:45:662 (45662|1,45912|0,46079|3,46412|1) - These are the same two pitches repeated. You can show that by going |2| |1| |2| |1| or something similar. Also 00:46:079 (46079|3) - is lower in pitch to 00:46:579 (46579|2) -
- 00:49:079 (49079|1) - Move to column |4|, 00:49:245 (49245|3) - to |3| and 00:49:579 (49579|2) - to |2| or |1|
This whole LN section is begging to be mapped to pitch. The fact that you did it in some places and not in others is inconsistent. There are very few notes in this section and so making it feel more engaging with PR usage is simple.

- Okay so you mapped these notes 01:02:912 (62912|2,64245|0,65579|2,68245|3,69579|2,70912|2) - in the first half of the kiai, which is fine, it's making it a bit more interesting. But then you completely stop after 01:12:745 - ? In terms of difficulty curve, you've made it get easier, despite the chorus getting even more intense. The addition of those notes were kind of arbitrary to begin with, so it's not like they can't be added to the second half. I suggest swapping it so that you map them in the second half but not the first, or you map them in both, or you map them in neither. Many options here.

- 01:23:579 (83579|2,83912|2,84245|2,84579|2) - I'm really glad you did this in this section. This kind of interesting mapping would be really great elsewhere in the map as well, is basically what I'm getting at with most of this mod. Just feels more purposeful.

- Maybe consider mapping the "uh" vocal sample in this section, like at 01:45:745 - and 01:46:412 - and etc

Didn't think I'd have so much to say about an easy diff. I guess I just want to see people do more interesting things with easier difficulties, because the excuse "But it's just an easy diff" is terrible and lazy (not saying this is you! Just that I've heard it said often ^^). I hope you take my suggestions under consideration, because I think it'll make it even better.

- 00:43:079 (43079|2,43245|1,43412|3,43745|0,43912|2,45662|1,45912|2) - Perhaps see my section in Feerum's diff where I talk about why you should use pitch relevancy here. I don't see any reason why it's avoided half the time, and used the other half (did you perhaps use the column placement from Feerum's diff? It seems similar). If for whatever reason you're unsure how to map this section to pitch, just message me and I'll sort it out for you ^^
- Feels a little inconsistent to do 1/4 here 00:47:245 (47245|3,47329|2,47412|1) - but not here 00:48:412 (48412|0,48579|3) - .
- Also, your LN substitution here 00:49:745 (49745|1,49912|0) - is off, because there's actually no note at 00:49:745 - You'll have to map it to the tick 1/4 afterwards, or 1/4 before it. Or simply just replace both LN with a single Ln that goes from 00:49:829 - to 00:50:079 -
- Again, you do 1/4 here 00:51:245 (51245|2,51329|1,51412|0) - but not here 00:52:579 (52579|2) -. I suggest going through this whole section and making sure that you're either consistent doing 1/4, or LN, and not randomly switching between both.
- To stay consistent with your 1/4 usage, you should add notes at 01:02:162 - and 01:07:495 -
- 01:17:912 (77912|2) - I think this should be a double. Though you'll have to mess around with the column placement a bit.
- 01:30:079 (90079|2) - Perhaps make a double?
- 01:31:745 (91745|0,91745|1,92079|0,92079|1) - Could be nice to make these have slightly different columns.
- 01:43:579 (103579|0,103829|3) - These could use emphasis, maybe with a double.
- 01:48:079 (108079|0,108079|3) - Turn this into a single note. You've avoided mapping this beat to a double everywhere else in this section.
- 01:49:412 (109412|0,109412|3) - ^
- From 01:50:079 - to 01:52:745 - you could probably make this a tiiiiny bit denser. The lack of double notes anywhere is a little anticlimactic for what is essentially the finishing pattern.

- 00:07:412 (7412|0,7745|3) - You did it here too, but it makes a bit more sense given that the pitch is higher, you can technically justify it that way.
- 00:08:912 (8912|3,9245|2) - This is the same as the first suggestion. You map that pitch twice here, but then ignore it everywhere else. I'd remove these two for consistency.
- From 00:32:745 - to 00:34:079 - despite this part being higher in intensity than the previous part, it has a lower density? Probably add some doubles in this section so that you maintain the difficulty curve, and thus the buildup.
- From 00:39:412 - to 00:46:079 - PLEASE make the LN in this section pitch relevant. I cannot stress this enough. If you want more explanation on this, check the mod I did for the lower two difficulties. TL;DR mapping this section to pitch does not affect the playability as it is mapped to a single layer, therefore you have nothing to lose by mapping the LN to pitch, and instead it allows your map to be more in sync with the music, as well as showing that you've put effort into the details. I will be disappointed if you do not take this suggestion.
- 00:56:412 (56412|1,56579|3) - Could make these doubles. This pattern just seems oddly easier compared to the ones before it.
- 01:00:079 (60079|0,60162|1,60245|3,60329|2,60412|1,60495|0,60579|2,60662|3) - I feel like you could fit some doubles in here, but it's not a big deal if you don't.
- 01:55:079 (115079|3) - Remove this, as this has less emphasis on it than the three doubles before it.

Overall a nice difficulty. It flows very nicely, and I like the little creative touches you put in for parts that could have been very boring otherwise (like the minijacks).

- From 00:39:412 - to 00:50:079 - to avoid sounding like a broken record, I recommend you read my point about pitch relevancy for breaks like this in my mod for the previous three difficulties. Even though you have an extra layer here, it's far too minimal to justify ignoring pitch. Especially when you've already made some kind of effort to map to pitch in a few spots, but ignores it elsewhere.
- 00:49:245 (49245|3) - This LN doesn't hide the fact that you cut off the rest of the melody. Have an LN here, 00:49:079 -, cut 00:49:245 (49245|3) - short to 00:49:579 - and resume a new LN from that point. There's plenty of room.
00:51:079 (51079|1) - This a double, and
00:51:162 (51162|2) - Add a note here.
01:06:329 (66329|1,66329|0,66579|2,66579|1) - How come these are doubles? It seems you're mapping the kick to doubles and not the melody everywhere else in this section. This would have you put a double here 01:06:412 - instead, to maintain that layering.
01:15:079 - Missing LN from melody. Plays and looks a little strange when you're allowing certain notes and then cutting out the other ones. This section isn't dense enough to use the "simplification" justification.

01:17:079 (77079|3) - Could probably delete this note and then just shuffle the ones around it a little. See how that plays.
01:44:079 (104079|0,104245|3,104412|1) - I think this should be swapped around. The first two should be one LN, and the long LN should be split into two.

In your LN break section (from 00:39:412 -) I really loved the fact that you paid attention to pitch for the most part. Probably the only difficulty in this set that remembered that. However there's just a few things, like swapping the columns of:
00:41:079 (41079|0,41245|1) - and
00:43:745 (43745|1,43912|2) - (though this one will result in a bit of reshuffling to fit)
Just so that it stays accurate.

Overall, nicely made. Everyone who worked on this set has talent in creating nice flow in their patterning. There were mainly just consistency issues, plus my quadruple rant about pitch relevancy in break sections.

- From 00:39:412 - to 00:46:079 - PLEASE make the LN in this section pitch relevant. I cannot stress this enough. If you want more explanation on this, check the mod I did for the lower two difficulties. TL;DR mapping this section to pitch does not affect the playability as it is mapped to a single layer, therefore you have nothing to lose by mapping the LN to pitch, and instead it allows your map to be more in sync with the music, as well as showing that you've put effort into the details. I will be disappointed if you do not take this suggestion. umm... i'll try to see the lower two diffs and yes i did manage to make it same but i re-arrange it a bit.
- 00:56:412 (56412|1,56579|3) - Could make these doubles. This pattern just seems oddly easier compared to the ones before it. for some reason and i dunno why, yes its easier. ummm... i'll try to consider this again owo

The storyboard is very intensive, maybe suggest turning it off to the player in the map thread if it lags?

00:32:745 (32745|3,34079|1) - You could turn this into a 1/1 LN stream so it captures the frantic nature in this section.

00:59:412 (59412|1) - Turn this into a 1/1 stream. That way the patterns feel like they build up just like the music.
01:18:079 (78079|2,79412|1) - Same suggestion as above.

01:20:745 (80745|0,81079|3,81245|1,81579|2) - I don't get what you're trying to do here. To me, it looks like you're following the synth, but it's not really doing a good enough job of doing so.
I'd suggest following the vocal sounds more clearly so it's clear for the beginner players what you're trying to follow. Something like this pattern should suffice.

01:32:079 (92079|2) - Make this a 1/2 stream. It feels very underwhelming to use a LN in place of two beats that have a lot of kicks in them, especially while it's building up.

01:50:079 (110079|0,111412|2,112745|1) - It feels pretty weak to use long LNs in place of a lot of sounds here. You could still follow the synth here just like you did before, or shake it up by using 1/1 or 1/2 streams for kicks, just so this portion of the map builds up to a strong finish.

00:02:245 (2245|2,2495|3) - These notes feel like they drown out the impact of the chords in the intro, so I suggest removing them to amplify the impact with the chords.

00:34:079 - to 00:35:412 - I would REALLY recommend avoiding a mini-jack section in this part and turning it into a stream instead. At a BPM such as 180, it takes a lot of control to be able to play this pattern correctly, and players that are around this level of difficulty will not be ready for a mini-jack stream.
If you still want to keep things interesting, you can turn this pattern into trills so it at least captures the stuttering effect in the song.

00:40:745 - Add a note on column 2 for impact.

00:53:245 (53245|0,53287|1,53329|2,53370|3) - Turn these notes into 1/6th notes so they accurately follow the kicks.
00:55:079 (55079|0,55120|1,55162|3,55204|2) - Same suggestion as above to be correct with the snaps.

00:59:245 (59245|2) - Move this to 4 so the 4th column has a stack for this section (also for some sort of symmetry).

01:17:995 (77995|2) - Move this note down to 01:17:495 - to follow the synth more accurately.

01:32:745 - to 01:33:745 - Same suggestion about the mini-jacks with 00:34:079 - . Turning them into trills would be much more suitable and appropriate for this level of difficulty.

01:40:745 (100745|1) - Move to 3 and 01:40:912 (100912|2,101079|0,101079|3,101245|1,101412|2,101412|3,101579|0) - Ctrl + H for pitch relevance.

01:52:745 - to 01:54:412 - The ending is a really big spike in difficulty due to the density with 1/8th and 1/6th notes, and the amount of control it takes for this portion to be pulled off correctly.
I would highly recommend turning this into a light jumpstream section instead to lessen the difficulty spike in the end. As an example, you can use this pattern so this section is a lot more comfortable to play through and to reduce the difficulty spike in the ending.

[EXHAUST]
00:12:412 (12412|2,12495|3) - You could probably turn these into jumps so it's a short jumptrill. You'd need to rearrange the patterns a bit if you apply this suggestion, though.

00:22:079 - to 00:23:412 - This part has some left-hand bias going on with streams on the left and jumps on the right. Rearrange the patterns (to something like this to reduce the bias.

00:29:995 (29995|3,30079|1,30162|3,30245|2,30329|1,30412|2) - Rearrange to 3,4,2,3,4,2 so the transition to the next pattern flows much better.

00:46:079 - Could add another note here for crash impact.

00:49:245 (49245|1) - Split this LN into two so they follow the synth's pitch. You'd have to rearrange the patterns, though.

I would highly recommend turning this into a light jumpstream section instead to lessen the difficulty spike in the end. As an example, you can use this pattern so this section is a lot more comfortable to play through and to reduce the difficulty spike in the ending. yeah, i agree with your opinion and i decided to rearrange abit by removing all of the 1/8. thanks a lot xD

- 00:12:745 (12745|3,12995|2,13245|0) - This could be made more interesting if they were all on the same column. Something to consider. Makes it feel more like playing with the song, and not just hitting some notes on top of it every now and then. Little things like this ultimately don't matter when it comes to playability, but it just adds something extra/creative. See above!

- 00:39:412 (39412|0,40079|1,40745|3,41079|2,41245|0) - This is great!
- 00:43:079 (43079|3,43245|1,43412|2,43745|0,43912|3) - But then you ditch the pitch relevancy right away.
- 00:45:245 (45245|0,45412|2,45662|1,45912|0,46079|3,46412|1,46579|2) - This works a bit better, but 00:45:662 (45662|1,45912|0,46079|3,46412|1) - These are the same two pitches repeated. You can show that by going |2| |1| |2| |1| or something similar. Also 00:46:079 (46079|3) - is lower in pitch to 00:46:579 (46579|2) -
- 00:49:079 (49079|1) - Move to column |4|, 00:49:245 (49245|3) - to |3| and 00:49:579 (49579|2) - to |2| or |1|
This whole LN section is begging to be mapped to pitch. The fact that you did it in some places and not in others is inconsistent. There are very few notes in this section and so making it feel more engaging with PR usage is simple. Arranged here a little bit

- Okay so you mapped these notes 01:02:912 (62912|2,64245|0,65579|2,68245|3,69579|2,70912|2) - in the first half of the kiai, which is fine, it's making it a bit more interesting. But then you completely stop after 01:12:745 - ? In terms of difficulty curve, you've made it get easier, despite the chorus getting even more intense. The addition of those notes were kind of arbitrary to begin with, so it's not like they can't be added to the second half. I suggest swapping it so that you map them in the second half but not the first, or you map them in both, or you map them in neither. Many options here. I did it for the variety. Playing over 20sec the same pattern over and over again is just simply boring

- 01:23:579 (83579|2,83912|2,84245|2,84579|2) - I'm really glad you did this in this section. This kind of interesting mapping would be really great elsewhere in the map as well, is basically what I'm getting at with most of this mod. Just feels more purposeful. // Because these notes ARE 1/1

- Maybe consider mapping the "uh" vocal sample in this section, like at 01:45:745 - and 01:46:412 - and etc idk feels kinda random qwq

Didn't think I'd have so much to say about an easy diff. I guess I just want to see people do more interesting things with easier difficulties, because the excuse "But it's just an easy diff" is terrible and lazy (not saying this is you! Just that I've heard it said often ^^). I hope you take my suggestions under consideration, because I think it'll make it even better.

Overall, nicely made. Everyone who worked on this set has talent in creating nice flow in their patterning. There were mainly just consistency issues, plus my quadruple rant about pitch relevancy in break sections.

01:20:745 (80745|0,81079|3,81245|1,81579|2) - I don't get what you're trying to do here. To me, it looks like you're following the synth, but it's not really doing a good enough job of doing so.
I'd suggest following the vocal sounds more clearly so it's clear for the beginner players what you're trying to follow. Something like this pattern should suffice. The ending of this part i wanted to make a bit more exciting.
To emphasize that the part is going to an end. So i mapped the melody!

01:32:079 (92079|2) - Make this a 1/2 stream. It feels very underwhelming to use a LN in place of two beats that have a lot of kicks in them, especially while it's building up. Okay i tried it and it's overall not bad.. but here comes my personal dislike into it. I just don't like to have such a long 1/2 stream here. The suggestion itself was good but.. i just dont like it

01:50:079 (110079|0,111412|2,112745|1) - It feels pretty weak to use long LNs in place of a lot of sounds here. You could still follow the synth here just like you did before, or shake it up by using 1/1 or 1/2 streams for kicks, just so this portion of the map builds up to a strong finish. You was right!

Suggestion 1
00:02:079 (2079|2) - There's many note like this where the multiple hitsound is put on 1 note when there are other note available.
I don't think it is against ranking rules, but it would be better to spread out the hitsounds.
Here you have 3 notes, and 2 hitsound (Whistle and Finish) , so one note should have Whistle, another note should have Finish, and last note has nothing.
If you want to fix this, you can use the latest version of my Magic Copy program.
