17:44 Voli: LOL
17:44 Voli: 02:01:779 (1,2,3) -
17:44 Plaudible: yupyup
17:44 Voli: and these combos
17:44 Plaudible: |8)
17:45 Voli: probably like
17:45 Voli: differentiate the 1/3 spacing from thr 1/4
17:45 Voli: and its a lot better to read
17:45 Voli: but yeah wtf is this song
17:45 Voli: lol
17:45 Voli: the sliderpart after that looks really cool
17:45 Voli: 02:10:818 -
17:45 Plaudible: \o/
17:46 Plaudible: i tried to use the colors/NC to emphasize 1/3 and weird section
17:46 Plaudible: then transform back at end
17:46 Voli: 02:19:404 (1,1,1) -
17:46 Voli: imo you should use this kind of 1/3 spacing
17:46 Voli: at the earlier part aswell
17:46 Plaudible: i do o-o
17:46 Plaudible: 02:01:279 (1) -
17:46 Voli: 02:08:654 (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1) - instead of dis
17:46 Plaudible: oh
17:46 Plaudible: those lead in with that spacing
17:47 Plaudible: i just like the pattern but i'll probably change XD
17:47 Voli: ah yea i see
17:47 Voli: loool
17:47 Voli: or mnaybe
17:47 Voli: use some sliders instead
17:47 Voli: for the 1/3s
17:47 Voli: too many notes gets ewird
17:47 Voli: with so many beatsnap changes
17:47 Voli: timesig*

17:48 Voli: anyways my map is kinda weird aswell
17:48 *Voli is listening to [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1252869 TAEMIN - Danger]
17:49 Plaudible: oo
17:49 Plaudible: m'kpop
17:51 Plaudible: those sliders were cool af
17:51 Voli: yee lol
17:51 Plaudible: 00:32:596 (1) - this comes outta nowhere though XD
17:51 Voli: theyre kinda the core gimmick of the map
17:51 Voli: yeah haha
17:52 Plaudible: 00:39:965 (1,2,3) - these were fun af though
17:52 Voli: how else to introduce it tho
17:52 Plaudible: 01:20:228 (1) - ctrl+g maybe?
17:52 Plaudible: yea, fair
17:52 Plaudible: maybe
17:53 Voli: mm maybe
17:53 Voli: idk ppl should just git good
17:53 Voli: or play it twice
17:53 Voli: LOL
17:53 Voli: ok ctrl+g
17:53 Voli: d
17:53 Plaudible: make the flow a lil better
17:53 Plaudible: at 00:32:070 (1,1) -
17:53 Plaudible: so that it kicks off? idk
17:53 Plaudible: just awkward flow + sudden sv change = awkward
17:53 Voli: 00:32:070 (1,1) - but
17:53 Plaudible: if it's nice flow at least you can catch up
17:53 Voli: its kinda
17:53 Voli: a heart yknow
17:53 Voli: lol
17:53 Voli: the entire shape
17:53 Plaudible: ctrl+h ctrl+g?
17:54 Plaudible: at least for the first one
17:54 Plaudible: if it's stacked like that
17:54 Voli: how do you mean
17:54 Voli: pic?
17:55 Plaudible: https://puu.sh/v3UuS/addaac929b.jpg
17:55 Plaudible: it helps since your other ones like 00:36:281 (1,1) - are super close
17:56 Voli: ah like that
17:56 Voli: yeah alright
17:56 Plaudible: 00:23:123 (1) - id nerf the SV here just a bit since it's not so tied to your gimmick and it feels a bit extra
17:56 Plaudible: and it scared the crap outta me
17:56 Plaudible: the rest plays like butter though, 10/10
17:56 Plaudible: given how weird this rhythm is especially XD
17:56 Voli: 1,70?
17:57 Plaudible: yea better
17:57 Voli: haha yeah
17:57 Voli: man i love mapping to vocal intensity
17:57 Voli: its way more fun than regular background drums mapping
17:58 Voli: you can post if you want on thread

00:12:333 (3) - I suggest you delete this beat. too long 1/2 beats, and this diff is the lowest diff in this set. you should reduce some 1/2 beats.
00:32:596 (1) - NC is not so necessary imo
00:36:807 (1) - ^
00:43:648 (7) - I suggest you end at 00:44:174 -

00:17:333 (1,2) - I think this part can be hard to read, DS is weird, so Players could be read 1/4 or 1/2, make sure this antijump.
00:33:123 (4) - 00:37:333 (4) - 00:58:386 (4) - 01:02:596 (4) - 1/6 is correct rhythm imo.
00:42:070 (4,1,3) - for me, this overlap looks little bit messy, My suggestion
00:45:491 - I suggest you adding this beat, this part has drum beat, too/. 00:53:912 - is, too

00:32:596 (1) - NC is not so necessary imo it kinda has to do with the colorhaxing, ''danger'' vocals are in pink/purple and the calmers part after is in grey
00:36:807 (1) - ^

00:10:491 (5) - How about make 1/4 reverse slider for make consistency with 00:14:702 (5) - ? Alright
00:17:333 (1,2) - I think this part can be hard to read, DS is weird, so Players could be read 1/4 or 1/2, make sure this antijump. It's a clear anti-jump as it reckons the approach rate. But speaking about the distance spacing in between, it's on purpose for being a little low as the music density itself is low as well.
00:33:123 (4) - 00:37:333 (4) - 00:58:386 (4) - 01:02:596 (4) - 1/6 is correct rhythm imo. I probably didn't want to create more rhythm composition in complexity of those 1/6 snaps. So to keep it less confusing and rightfully arranged, I've used the 1/4 ticks for a little simplified layout.
00:42:070 (4,1,3) - for me, this overlap looks little bit messy, My suggestion It's. Absolutely. Intentional. I would move it somewhere else IF the overlap is kept, but splitting that up might extend a bit overtaking the emphasis is way too much. So for the sake of a compound in patterns including the overlaps (and maybe the spacing ehh), the current structure wouldn't affect that greatly.
00:45:491 - I suggest you adding this beat, this part has drum beat, too/. 00:53:912 - is, too Not likely a drum, but a hi-hat. Barely audible as well. Maybe I'd do it so...
00:59:438 (1,2,3,4) - 01:03:649 (1,2,3,4) - How about add beats at 00:59:833 - 01:00:360 - ...? for make consistency with 00:34:175 (1,2,3,4) - , this song's part is same. Not exactly the same, I should say. The vocals on 00:34:175 (1,2,3,4) - are probably a continuous medley repeating the same line of lyrics each beat of the metronome, which are the white ticks. For a shorter preference, like a stream perhaps. So for this part on both 00:59:438 (1,2,3,4) - and 01:03:649 (1,2,3,4) - aren't a kind of duplicated tracks as you could possibly hear. So hopefully that should explain.
01:05:754 (5) - NC here for downbeat Okaaay
Thanks Neosky for looking over my diff~

00:03:649 (2,3) - would move both of these lower because lines + length = not that aesthetic ( (1) slider suggests more downward movement)

00:23:649 (1,2) - i'd do instead for cleanliness and representation

00:33:649 (6,1) - spacing suggests 1/4 but it's a 1/2

DANGER
00:02:596 (1,7,8) - tiny overlap
00:22:333 (1,2) - spacing makes it look like the two notes come 1/4 beat after another
00:23:517 (1) - Sliderend has significant sound
00:25:667 (4,1,2,3) - has different spacing than 00:29:877 (4,1) -
00:52:070 (1,2) - sudden small spacing with the sharp angle turn is uncomfortable
00:59:438 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - pattern goes from broken flow to good flow back to broken flow, is there a reason for that when the audio is just repeated? (this is repeated a couple times)
01:16:017 (4,1) - maybe keep flow during the calmer parts of the song

Vreyon's Hard
00:07:991 (5,6) - bad flow especially in this part of the song
00:08:912 (1,2) - just nit picky, but same sound, broken flow, different slider shape... ?
00:11:938 (5,6) - better circular flow would be nice
00:29:438 (6,7) - why the flow change? the new upbeat could be emphasized through DS instead
01:09:965 (1) - Spinner feels out of place. You could easily replace it with something else
01:09:965 (1,4) - why the change

I'm pretty bad at modding low diff, so my b xd
I didn't mention this because it happened so many times. but there were a lot of notes placed where there was no sound at all . . . doubles and triples were created in places inappropriate for it . . .

Normal
00:11:018 (1,2) - flow
I can't find anything, feels like a ranked diff :p

00:11:807 (4,5,6) - would do something like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7716570 this instead because clean stuffs I'd rather use a little twist of curvy sliders and a few discrete distance spacing for some small emphasis in rhythm composition than "clean stuffs".
00:13:649 (2) - make the two sides of the slider more equal With that applied, it wouldn't even affect anything but aesthetics or the patterning. Also wouldn't budge a tweak of course, so I may keep the current until further notice... or into reconsideration.
00:15:228 (1) - would do something like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7716589 this instead because flows better and aesthetics better Not really the best choice of a slider position, or it's own shape pretty much. Flow may still look the same if changed as well, since it's nothing more but just flowing towards the next notes. Might keep it curved for a smoother cursor movement too.
00:15:754 (2,3,4,5,6) - voice goes down, spacing goes up? Yes, along with density mainly. So as it gets a little dense overtime, it's worth increasing a bit of the distance spacing.
00:17:860 (2,3,4,5,6) - ^ -
00:25:228 (6,1) - im pretty sure 1/12 rhythms are illegal Because singer is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
00:28:781 (4) - maybe move it a little top right for readability A stack should be enough for the intensity here than moving it out of it. It would either increase the distance spacing in-between 00:28:781 (4,5) - nonsensical, or might make the manual stacking more weirder in gameplay.
00:29:438 (6,7,1) - hard rhythm owo As intended to be "hard" in a hard difficulty owo
00:33:649 (6,1) - spacing suggests 1/4 but it's a 1/2  It's the start of the anti-jumping. Like, the "onebnaemeassdf" vocals are pretty much in distress, so...
00:39:965 (5,1) - spacing too high, reduce (5) by one reverse or something Reduced, and overlapped more!!!
00:46:807 (1,2) - make the two sides a little more equal (cleaner) Nearly the same thing as on 00:13:649 (2) -
00:51:017 (1) - would do something like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7716610 to half-blanket with 00:50:491 (4) - and look clean I'm not a fan of some solid patternings and blankets or whatso. Was trying out some better ways like manually overlap slider-on-slider to produce something newer than 2k14ish. Looks clean, yeah... but not much of the aesthetics.
00:54:175 (4) - /me vomits into a trash can || eww /me pats Pika's back
01:05:754 (1) - this break/spinner thing isnt really providing that much zzz Of course, it shouldn't. I tried mapping this section before showing to Voli, but the song track's (and maybe density) over this one just kinda makes it feel very vague to be mapped after a minute of passing through the complexity elements and so on. So this deserves at least one break of a time.
01:18:386 (1) - end one beat earlier so you can provide some context to 01:21:281 (1,2) - That's a huge space of emptiness to be honest. There's literally no context at all when a section goes to another one that's differently played on.
01:35:754 (2) - move to 174|129 looks cleaner and better flows Well for that kind of placement of this slider... I don't think it will happen anytime soon. The distance spacing is pretty high and also not correctly balanced in-between the notes of 01:35:228 (1,3,4) -. So there's that.
idk how to mod cs5 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_

00:07:991 (5,6) - bad flow especially in this part of the songThen, what makes it a bad flow? Is the jump too sudden? Distance spacing too big? Pattern seems confusing? This "bad flow" you call purposes a small 1/4 jump after the sliderkick in order to represent how Hard will it be for the next few notes to further gameplay of this.
00:08:912 (1,2) - just nit picky, but same sound, broken flow, different slider shape... ? Starting from a new track, it mainly focuses on structure in objectivity of patterning. It does have the same sound, but as long as the rhythm composition doesn't affect too much, that wouldn't really be bad in use of different slider shapes.
00:11:938 (5,6) - better circular flow would be nice It's more likely a follow-up of that rather than being a precise one of a circular flow. At least the cursor movement over this is still intact as that kind of flowing, so the similarity is also distinctive.
00:29:438 (6,7) - why the flow change? the new upbeat could be emphasized through DS instead Because of the downbeat that is going to land sooner than ever as imminent, many things should be changed as well as the flow and a few bit of structure. Distance spacing shouldn't always be an imperative way of how every one of the emphasis works throughout the difficulty. It's a hard difficulty, no? Since the circle (7) shows the visual concept of the this "new upbeat", you call, an indicative way of showing a better emphasis than using distance spacing all over and absurdly extend them on most downbeats. So there's the answer of "why the flow change".
01:09:965 (1) - Spinner feels out of place. You could easily replace it with something else I'm not used to mapping a sudden notes appearing just after a break due the approach rate is 7, which is the maximum adjustment for any hard difficulties to set in. So, adding a spinner makes it a lot more easier to notice the players to keep going on every gameplay.
01:09:965 (1,4) - why the change Same reason

I'm pretty bad at modding low diff, so my b xd At least, you've tried your best.
I didn't mention this because it happened so many times. but there were a lot of notes placed where there was no sound at all . . . doubles and triples were created in places inappropriate for it . . .
Thanks, both of you.

In General
  1. Aimod: Fix The unsnapped objects, Unsnapped kiai's in Normal Diffs And conflicts in Audio preview time with other Diffs
  2. I Think that the 2nd one beat kiai would fit/represent better that part if it just continues until 01:37:332 - as that it is strong as the first Kiai'ed one

Normal
  1. 00:02:596 (1) - a curved slider to play That Sound at the start better than a straight Slider
  2. 00:07:860 (2,3,4) - What about to Change this Pattern by replacing this 00:08:386 (3,4) - with one 1/1 slider thus fitting instru and vocals
  3. 00:13:649 (6) - imo a circle at 00:13:648 - then that zigzag slider which represents better that sound than a reverse slider
  4. 00:19:965 (1) - a circle + 1/2 slider plays better same way as you did in 00:20:754 (2,3) -
  5. 00:42:596 (5) - what about the same shape of 00:43:649 (7) - ctrl+h+g it
  6. 00:52:070 (7) - curve the tail of this slider by moving that 3rd tick a bit below
  7. 01:02:070 (1) - need some polishing try something more like 01:27:333 (1) -
  8. 01:23:123 (1) - even worse ^
  9. 01:38:913 (4) - try to switch to 0.5x SV to make this slider represent the whole sound while keeping the same length, Im not sure if its okay to use SV change in Normals

Hard
  1. Everything played well until i reached this 00:25:228 (6) - 1/16 reverse and misread it and i dont think its fitting instru or vocals like there is a gap in rhythm i think just put a normal 1/2 slider which is parallel to the previous slider or make a half stacked slider plays better imo like this
  2. 00:28:386 (3,4,5) - same here the stack on (3) not fitting frozen rhythm but instead when (4) stacked on 00:29:044 (5) - it gives better representation
  3. 00:29:438 (6) - reverse it plays more efficiently
  4. 00:34:175 (1,2,3,4) - these don't look good, try better repositioning
  5. 01:38:912 (4,1) - what about to replace this last pattern with a 1/4 slider then a 1/2 thus covering that ending sound

Danger
  1. 00:03:123 (3,5,6,7,8,5,6,7,8) - hmm i think those 1/6 double sounds are a bit Quieter than the 35% volume so i think they would sound better if you add some unherited sections exclusively for each set and reduce the volume around 15-10%
  2. 00:12:991 (1) - What about circle then a slider instead that important beat seems its ignored but its stronger than the vocals there
  3. 00:29:351 (2,3) - the increased space between this is more suitable in here 00:29:877 (4,1) - instead
  4. 00:39:965 (1,2,3) - i suggest a stream here
  5. 00:42:465 (1,2) - not rhythmic imo try to expand the long slider for the vocals until 00:43:123 - or a circle at 00:42:465 - then 2 x 1/2 sliders
  6. 01:39:175 (2) - same thing i suggested in normal diff ...

00:22:333 (1,2) - spacing makes it look like the two notes come 1/4 beat after another this is clearly a way calmer section though so imo its pretty evident
00:23:517 (1) - Sliderend has significant sound prefer following the vocals, p much main ''point'' of this diff
00:25:667 (4,1,2,3) - has different spacing than 00:29:877 (4,1) - adjusted the first one
00:52:070 (1,2) - sudden small spacing with the sharp angle turn is uncomfortable changed it
00:59:438 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - pattern goes from broken flow to good flow back to broken flow, is there a reason for that when the audio is just repeated? (this is repeated a couple times) hm? the flow isnt really broken though, 00:59:965 (1) - points upwards and you pretty much make a circular movement with your cursor hitting them, like this
01:16:017 (4,1) - maybe keep flow during the calmer parts of the song flow is pretty much kept, imo, though the vocals here get pretty intense compared to 01:15:623 (3,4) -

I wouldn't really make a here just to pressure the rhythm quite too specific because I couldn't really get the snapping out of it. But since it was mentioned before, I'd do the least option to change this into a 1/8 repeated slider in order to make the rhythm a little more simpler than the last one.
  2. 00:28:386 (3,4,5) - same here the stack on (3) not fitting frozen rhythm but instead when (4) stacked on 00:29:044 (5) - it gives better representation Ehh that would excessively create a jump if I stack circle (4) on slider (5) though. But it's not bad trying to mainstream a vocal layer here.
As long as the stack seems visible by approach rate, readability wouldn't hurt a lot. It's a Hard difficulty, no?
  3. 00:29:438 (6) - reverse it plays more efficiently Musically, there's no beat landing on 00:29:702 - as the red tick doesn't really have one instrument to hit. Or it is barely audible or anything like that. So just as above, I'm mainly following the vocals over this section to avoid a tiny bit of overmap. So a reverse arrow here isn't really that necessary to add.
  4. 00:34:175 (1,2,3,4) - these don't look good, try better repositioning Uhmm, what "repositioning" could fit though? If you mean by redoing the slider shapes or positions of those four, I say that they clearly have a sufficient arrangement in aesthetics and structure while following the continuous streaming in the whole track. There's literally nothing bad or went wrong in flowing too, as far as I know. So that should be it.
  5. 01:38:912 (4,1) - what about to replace this last pattern with a 1/4 slider then a 1/2 thus covering that ending sound Hmm, I kinda tried it. It sounds definitely weird starting a slider on the red tick following out the ride sound at the end while the last two ticks in 1/4 snap division sounds more audible and imminent than this kind of rhythm. So maybe, I'd like to keep the current until further notice.
thx

  1. Are you sure about this NC here 00:32:596 (1) - /00:36:807 (1) -
  2. This is a personal suggestion, but I feel like you could make the curve of this sliders 01:33:123 (1,2,3,4) – less accentuated. Consider that the normal diff here is the easiest diff, therefore, it’s the one new players will try first. Following sliders can be hard for them and this type of shape can be really misleading.
  3. Don’t you think that all this sections 00:32:070 (1) -/00:36:281 (1) -/00:57:333 (1) -/01:01:544 (1) – should have the same hitsounding? As it is now, before kiai you have regular normal-hitwhistle and after it you have drum-hitwhistle with addition of normal on it. The same idea goes for this 01:26:807 (1) -/01:31:018 (1) - /01:35:228 (1) - .This one however I can really see why it is so different 01:22:596 (1) – and it’s totally fine.

[ Veyron's Hard ]
  1. Your rhythm starts on blue tick actively mapped while letting some main beats on white ticks on slider ends. Here; 00:07:596 (3,4,5,6,7) – you start mapping this low tone beat 00:07:596 (3) – with a circle, then maps a 1/4 slider afterwards starting on the blue tick 00:07:728 - . If you listen very carefully you will see that the main beat that you’re following is actually off by a few ms, since the sound actually starts around here 00:07:761 - . And then the slider ends on a really strong sound here 00:07:860 - . If I may suggest an alternative way of mapping this part without changing much of how you made it, I’d delete this circle 00:07:596 (3) – move the slider 00:07:728 (4) – to this point 00:07:596 – and then make it reverse arrow. It’s not going to change how you made the emphasis of your pattern since you made this choice of landing sliderend on the strong beat (a point that some modders will mention) but you fix the problem of clicking on this point of the song 00:07:728 – where there’s not precise sound to be mapped since the beat is off for some reason.
About the placement, in case you want to follow this suggestion, make sure to ctrol+g the slider 00:07:728 (4) – and adjust the spacing.
    Applies to; 00:11:807 (4,5,6,7,8) -/
  2. I’d recommend keep the flow here constantly linear 00:34:175 (1,2,3,4) – instead of changing it on the last repeat slider 00:35:754 (4) - . It’s easy to fix this, just need to ctrol+g this slider 00:35:754 (4) - .
  3. The distance here 00:39:965 (5,1) – could be smaller imo. My point here is; the general spacing of 1/4 00:38:912 (2,3) -/00:37:333 (4,5) -/00:36:807 (2,3) – consists of a close spacing that doesn’t overlap. If the gap there you want to keep as 1/6 you could make it overlap to indicate to players that the rhythm there is different since none of the previous objects overlapped with others.

[DANGER]
  1. I think that you could improve the spacing of the 1/6 sections on the start of the map. Generally there’re 2 different rhythms with this gap; doubles 00:03:561 (5,6) – with two circles, doubles 00:07:772 (4,1) – with a circle and a slider. Looking at this start I can really see that the doubles with two circles 00:03:561 (5,6,7,8) – are generally spaced differently compared to the circle slider ones 00:07:772 (4,1) -/00:09:877 (4,1) – which is good imo in terms of making the map have even more variety in gameplay, something that should be expected from the top diff. My advice is that you keep this spacing idea for longer instead of breaking it here 00:10:403 (2,3) - .
  2. Also, if you’re using this spacing for the doubles 00:05:930 (7,8) – I think you could use a different one for the longer gaps like this 00:21:544 (1,2) - . In this spot I feel like you really wanted to make it stand out differently from the other objects. You could either try to increase the spacing in a odd way or fully stack the objects.
  3. I feel like you could add more emphasis to this final slider 01:39:175 (2) – if you change the flow of it and NC with a stronger color. This is a personal suggestion but I’d ctrol+g 01:39:175 (2) – and make it NC, that would add more emphasis without breaking the patterning you made for this end 01:37:333 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - .
As discussed, m4m with this mapset; https://osu.ppy.sh/s/594230 .
I really liked the top diff as a vocal mapping that remains all the time respecting the main beats of the song. Really great job on this set, hope to see it moving foward into ranking :)

Consider that the normal diff here is the easiest diff, therefore, it’s the one new players will try first. Following sliders can be hard for them and this type of shape can be really misleading. My advice is that you keep this spacing idea for longer instead of breaking it here 00:10:403 (2,3) - . Good that you noticed, I indeed did something with the 1/6 spacing but it donest have so much to do with doubles or double/sliders, more with the intensity of the object the double is mapped to. So heavy drums have more spacing than for example a synth of a vocal. You're right that the vocal combo wasn't consistent so i fixed that 1
  2. Also, if you’re using this spacing for the doubles 00:05:930 (7,8) – I think you could use a different one for the longer gaps like this 00:21:544 (1,2) - . Stacked them manually
Applied the pink nc but not the ctrl+g as i just wanna keep the movement the same as the rest of the pattern

Technically, I've heard it at a slower playrate that the beat you mentioned sure is off. It's one of the reasons why I started the slider's head on 00:07:728 - blue tick instead and so on. Well, I'd rather not make a reverse arrow though, but would actually redo the circle and swap the rhythm composition out of it. Yet, this still counts~
About the placement, in case you want to follow this suggestion, make sure to ctrol+g the slider 00:07:728 (4) – and adjust the spacing.
    Applies to; 00:11:807 (4,5,6,7,8) -/
I've kinda done something else than this Ctrl+G way or somehow. But will do.
  2. I’d recommend keep the flow here constantly linear 00:34:175 (1,2,3,4) – instead of changing it on the last repeat slider 00:35:754 (4) - . It’s easy to fix this, just need to ctrol+g this slider 00:35:754 (4) - .
Linear flows aren't really the best structures to use in patterning in my personal overview, while making it look too solid and a bit repetitive in aesthetics (and maybe gameplay... ehh). So differing each sliders' sliding position by using a few bit of variation may give a better look in perspective. I wouldn't mind changing this, but thanks for mentioning though.
For the 1/6, I really do am trying to display a little bit of notice by overlapping the slider to show the next track's distinct rhythms. And so that a bypass over this part could be attainable. But since the others, the like 1/4s, aren't very much worth of overlapping, because the vocal itself is not pretty cumulative or decisive in patterning. And lately just made them spaced out as usual. At least the common appearance over this isn't that confusing to players to be honest.
Thank you for looking over my difficulty!

Yo, as requested!

[General]
  1. Since Normal is Approach Rate 6 and has a good deal of spaced 1/2 beats, I believe we could have an Easy or something of that kind.
[Normal]
  1. 00:11:544 (2) - the sliderbody does not seem to fit well as there is practically nothing between these two sliders. Besides, there are two practically equal beats, so replacing 00:11:544 (2) - with two circles will improve the rhythm quite a lot, I belive.
Note: 00:16:807 (4) - 00:18:912 (7) - same thing for the same reason, I feel like these downbeats feel a lot better when mapped with something clickable
  2. 00:39:965 (4) - in case you decide to keep it as the easiest difficulty of the set, you might want to change the shape to something a bit more linear for readability purposes.
    Note: 00:56:807 (3) - same
  3. 01:20:228 (5) - probably it would be a good idea to new combo this one as it differs from the previous part and it has a different sound.

It's pretty nice, though Approach Rate 6 on the easiest difficulty is definitely something I would not recommend to anyone.
[Veyron's Hard]
  1. 00:17:333 (1,2) - I am not sure of the spacing here as it appears to be prtty confusing. Maybe space it further or stack?
  2. 00:20:491 (4,5) - compare the spacing emphassi these two sliders get. (5) has a stronger bass yet lower spacing, probably place it further to stress it more?
  3. 00:57:860 (2,3) - minor - due to the way the game stacks things, there is a very slight overlap that might seem unwanted. Just stack manually or space it a bit more.
    Note: 01:02:070 (2,3) - same

Most of my concerns are just minor visuals/slight spacing changes. I like the difficulty.
[DANGER]
  1. 00:15:754 (1,2) - I feel like two 1/3 sliders with a 1/6 gap would do slightly better here.like this basically, repetitive rhythm for repetitive part.
  2. 00:23:561 - I might be wrong but I hear the slider starting here, and not on 00:23:517. It seems to match vocals better.
  3. 00:35:754 (3,4,1) - actually, (1) has less spacing emphasis, as it is placed closer. I suppose that the idea was to make the contrast of higher and slower velocities. What do you think of this?
  4. 00:57:860 (1) - this is the kind of danger I need in my life. Please do more ♥

    Interesting stuff.
That was pretty good!

  1. Since Normal is Approach Rate 6 and has a good deal of spaced 1/2 beats, I believe we could have an Easy or something of that kind. ah the approach rate was an accident, it should've been lower. I really don't want to map an easy though as I already simplified the rhythm the most I could in the normal while keeping it somewhat correlated to the song, I don't think an easy would add much to the mapset. D:
[Normal]
  1. 00:11:544 (2) - the sliderbody does not seem to fit well as there is practically nothing between these two sliders. Besides, there are two practically equal beats, so replacing 00:11:544 (2) - with two circles will improve the rhythm quite a lot, I belive. agree, fixed as you proposed
Note: 00:16:807 (4) - 00:18:912 (7) - same thing for the same reason, I feel like these downbeats feel a lot better when mapped with something clickable i don't really agree with these two though as they have a hold vocal and a long background noise (i dont know what instrument that is lol)
so i prefer keeping extended sliders here
  2. 00:39:965 (4) - in case you decide to keep it as the easiest difficulty of the set, you might want to change the shape to something a bit more linear for readability purposes. changed it to something easier to read
    Note: 00:56:807 (3) - same same
  3. 01:20:228 (5) - probably it would be a good idea to new combo this one as it differs from the previous part and it has a different sound. sure, why not

It's pretty nice, though Approach Rate 6 on the easiest difficulty is definitely something I would not recommend to anyone. whooops idk why it's so high, it was supposed to be 5 xD
[DANGER]
  1. 00:15:754 (1,2) - I feel like two 1/3 sliders with a 1/6 gap would do slightly better here.like this basically, repetitive rhythm for repetitive part. sure, i did smth pretty cool imo also changed the following pattern up a bit to match the emphasis on 00:16:807 (3) -
  2. 00:23:561 - I might be wrong but I hear the slider starting here, and not on 00:23:517. It seems to match vocals better. that sounds okay
  3. 00:35:754 (3,4,1) - actually, (1) has less spacing emphasis, as it is placed closer. I suppose that the idea was to make the contrast of higher and slower velocities. What do you think of this? hmm i prefer not doing that, as 00:36:807 (1,2,1) - are all connected pattern wise, and i dont like the slider 00:36:807 (1) - being upside down, it plays weird imo. i think the spacing difference is fine as it's a new pattern and all, and it makes it easier to read the sv change as you said
  4. 00:57:860 (1) - this is the kind of danger I need in my life. Please do more ♥ <3 yeah i loved this too even tho i had no idea what im doing LOL

  1. This wallpaper has nothing to do with the song at all what the hell xD
  2. Having white as a combo colour is fine, but during kiai a flashing white colour hurts. A lot. Please check to make sure white doesn't occur in the chorus. You can just color hack to fix this.
  3. Difficulties end time is not consistent:

  1. 00:17:333 (1,2) - Insta choke lmao. This is not a good idea, especially when you map with the exact same spacing for a completely different gap in time at 00:28:386 (3,4) - ? Please fix one of these, as right now, it's harming the legibility of your map.
  2. 00:59:438 (1) - 01:03:649 (1) - Why don't these repeat once more? There's clearly a vocal on the blue tick, and you did it at 00:34:175 (1,1) - 00:38:386 (1) - .
    1. 01:33:123 (1) - 01:37:333 (1) - ^
  3. 01:31:017 (1) - This overlap gives the map an unpolished look, maybe try something like this?

Well, both of the sections in each parts sounds totally different in terms of following vocals... TOTALLY. In fact, I didn't really want to create more reversed sliders way too much as it might increase a few bits of density, or "too much" w/e. It feels pretty repetitive even to follow the major three notes on either 00:59:438 - 01:33:123 - and so on. Let's say, the first two track can have two repeats, the last two has one. And literally done it consistently.

  3. 01:31:017 (1) - This overlap gives the map an unpolished look, maybe try something like this? To be honest, that linear slider kinda looked a bit lacking of aesthetics even with the blanket implemented. And besides, I don't support casual blankets anymore. So I'd rather use overlaps for altering distinctive aesthetics.
at least i applied one mod, dun be sad k thnx

Hello there!

  1. Generally speaking I wonder how you create the doubles like 00:07:246 (2,3) - 00:07:772 (4,1) - 00:09:877 (4,1) - 00:10:403 (2,3) - 00:11:456 (3,4) - etc. because I am not sure what is the logic behind the way you're spacing them. Don't you mind making them all a bit more same looking so they are easier to read and predict or don't you mind explaining how you create them? D':
  2. 00:39:965 (1,2,3) - OMIGU tbh I would like it to be a 1/6-circle-stream or 1/12-slider-stream so the clicking theory is more appreciated because it always bothers me how to click such moments, simply they are not intuitive for me, Krfawy the noobie. ;3; OFC this thing happens multiple times but I am sure you know that I know that.
  3. 00:24:438 (4,1) - I know that you're following the vocals here but I have a feeling that the drums/trumpet/sax/put the proper instrument here is a little bit more audible for me and the doubles would work better instead of the long slider, just my opinion. I find myself unable to explain myself in an understandable way so I'm showing you how I imagine the circles and sliders to work together for this particular moment so everyone's sure I am understandable enough: *CLICKIE*
  4. 01:35:754 (1) - The slider is okay but I am sure it can be polished. How about you make something more like this:
    290,177,95754,2,0,B|292:204|306:257|310:280|360:302|379:291|398:281|413:261|431:243|429:212|411:189|388:173|365:167|344:169|325:181|302:210|300:230|306:257|310:279|256:296|256:296|201:279|205:257|211:230|209:210|186:181|167:169|146:167|123:173|100:189|82:212|80:243|98:261|113:281|132:291|151:302|201:280|205:257|219:204|222:177,1,880

  1. Generally speaking the whole diff seems more tricky from the reading side when compared with the highest diff as the highest diff doesn't have these overlapping patterns nor does it have as many stacking and hidden notes and it causes a diff-spike if you ask me. :v
  2. 00:08:254 (1) - I really wish you put a normal-finish addition on the very head of the slider so it has a nicer feedback for the players, now the moment sounds incredibly emtpy without any significant hitsound that stresses the instrument changes. ;w;
  3. 00:59:965 (1,1,1) - Could you please keep these on the very XY position of 00:59:438 (1) - this note so the whole pattern remains more readable and intuitive for the players? Surely the spacing is more technically wise in your option but the pattern is less readable if you ask me.
  4. 01:38:386 (1,2,3,4) - Move this higher so the stacking doesn't confuse players, it is a bit hard to feel the moment rn, I can't explain why, it just feels quite wrong.
Veyron
  1. 01:39:438 (1) - The only thing that concerns me... I would suggest you remove the note or at least use a whistle so the feedback is more clear because now it is a bit too ambiguous without any significant hitsound but then it should be okay, I believe.

  1. TBH I would really appreciate if the difficulty settings were AR5.5-6.0 because of the general structure of the diff. It works
  2. 00:02:597 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The whole opening section is not hitsounded. I am sure a few drum-hitnormal and soft-hitwhistle sounds would be appreciated.
  3. 00:32:070 (1) - *BLANKET PLEASE*
  4. 00:43:649 (7) - How about a little happy wave instead so the pattern goes a bit more smoothly? *CLICK*
OMG what a nice mapset, Krfawy would nominate it!.

@PolkaMocha, yeah youre right, i changed the combo colors and the overall theme of the map to fit the song more. The thing about the diffs ending on slightly different spots isn't really a problem imo, it's justified because of denser rhythm usage in the harder diffs leading to a slightly different rhythm structure in the song's outro.

hi i'm really late

tbh i put it off cause i was scared of modding this. probably won't have much to say

[General]
  1. The CS settings are all over - 3.5 to 5 to 3.8 to 4.5, it's a mess lol. Biggest issue here is obviously Hard and it makes it real awkward
  2. HP settings are 5 for every diff except N - maybe raise at least topdiff?
  3. Hard and Hyper are both OD6, DANGER is OD8 so raise Hyper to OD7 to fit spread better?
[DANGER]
  1. 00:12:333 (2,3) - Blanket fix
  2. 00:38:254 (1,2,3) - Is this triple actually mapped to...a triple? Like please tell me you're not mapping this triple to the dude's breathing LOL
  3. 00:44:614 (1) - Can you make this slider tail rounder so it's not ugly thx xd
  4. 00:48:561 (2,1) - This would be read as 1/3 gap rather than 1/6 so probably space it closer or something to make it more intuitive
  5. 00:52:070 (1,2,3,4,1) - Tbh this pattern made me jizz myself when I played it but the slider is also ugly like the other one so pls fix
  6. 00:57:860 (1) - dude nice
  7. 01:05:754 (1) - Right angle is kinda awk
  8. 01:11:807 (1,2,3) - I think this would both look and play better, with each other and into 4, if you did something like this http://puu.sh/wJW2V/e4d70dcec5.jpg also I think the 1/2 sliders need to be slightly adjusted to blanket correctly
  9. 01:31:544 (1) - Maybe make the tail of this slider self-blanket more closely?
  10. 01:35:754 (1) - jus wanted 2 say i hate this slider and it made me break >:(

this is a really good map
[Irreversible's Hyper]
  1. lmao what are these slider shapes irre
  2. 00:32:596 (1,1) - Underspaced? Might get misplayed
  3. 00:42:070 (5) - Shorten by 1/6 so it gets that sweet vocal?
  4. 00:42:596 (1) - This slider seems to be capturing the prolonged sound of the vocals but the vocals starts earlier so maybe start the slider earlier, or maybe even just a circle?
  5. 00:43:649 (3) - Pattern is cool but it just sounds really weird to the music, maybe add a circle 1/6 before, and shorten the slider by 1/6, etc.
  6. 00:52:465 (5) - Similar issue here, like, this slider isn't really set to...anything in the music. Like what's the rationale for mapping this pattern in 1/4
  7. 00:59:438 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - This is insanely hard to read and to play for a hyper and it is not appropriate lol
  8. 01:03:649 (1) - Might also get misplayed because of underspacing
[Veyron's Hard]
  1. 00:32:070 (1,2,3,4) - These are some ugly overlaps here tbh
  2. 00:33:649 (6,1) - Hoooo boy that's some misleading anti-jump spacing
  3. 00:34:702 (2,3) - http://puu.sh/wJWSf/dad5c1840e.jpg cv WHY
  4. 00:36:281 (1,2,3,4) - Also ugly overlap combo
  5. 00:39:965 (5,1) - If you were going for a slidertrack overlap here, the sliderend of 5 is a few pixels off
  6. 00:45:491 (2,3,4) - There's not really anything here to map to 1/4? I only hear a 1/6 double so is this just filler rhythm 1/4? pls no cv
  7. 00:47:728 (3,4) - Same here, this is 1/6, not 1/4, it's the wrong snap
  8. 00:53:912 (2,3,4) - same
  9. 01:37:334 (1,2,3,4) - Why not end with a nice internally symmetric pattern like this? http://puu.sh/wJX6U/9f3b66e637.jpg
[Normal]
  1. 00:08:386 (3,4) - http://puu.sh/wJXXw/052d155b84.jpg it's barely not straight REEEEE
  2. 00:26:807 (6,1) - Blanket fix http://puu.sh/wJXZm/962628c9bf.jpg
  3. 00:32:070 (1,1) - Is NC'ing both of these objects appropriate? Same for all other instances
  4. 00:38:386 (1,2) - Looks kinda noobish, maybe instead do something like this? http://puu.sh/wJY1j/06017d920e.jpg
  5. 00:42:596 (5,6,7) - http://puu.sh/wJY2f/9086ee50eb.jpg again it's barely not straight RRRRREEEEEEEEE

[General]
  1. The CS settings are all over - 3.5 to 5 to 3.8 to 4.5, it's a mess lol. Biggest issue here is obviously Hard and it makes it real awkward gonna have to discuss with my gd homies, but im pretty sure cv is persistent on keeping cs5 xd
  2. HP settings are 5 for every diff except N - maybe raise at least topdiff? done
  3. Hard and Hyper are both OD6, DANGER is OD8 so raise Hyper to OD7 to fit spread better? =irr

[DANGER]
  1. 00:12:333 (2,3) - Blanket fix fixed
  2. 00:38:254 (1,2,3) - Is this triple actually mapped to...a triple? Like please tell me you're not mapping this triple to the dude's breathing LOL lol idk i hear it in the vocals kinda cool imo
  3. 00:44:614 (1) - Can you make this slider tail rounder so it's not ugly thx xd i tried idk im bad
  4. 00:48:561 (2,1) - This would be read as 1/3 gap rather than 1/6 so probably space it closer or something to make it more intuitive i dont wanna space it closer cuz then it looks like it's a part of that other pattern, and this is a new vocal sequence+finish
  5. 00:52:070 (1,2,3,4,1) - Tbh this pattern made me jizz myself when I played it but the slider is also ugly like the other one so pls fix like if i touch it it just gets uglier LOL
  6. 00:57:860 (1) - dude nice nice dude
  7. 01:05:754 (1) - Right angle is kinda awk i think its fine since start of the wave kinda points downwards too
  8. 01:11:807 (1,2,3) - I think this would both look and play better, with each other and into 4, if you did something like this http://puu.sh/wJW2V/e4d70dcec5.jpg also I think the 1/2 sliders need to be slightly adjusted to blanket correctly i like the idea but it would make the jump to the pattern afterwards way too jarring. i fixed the visual distance and blanketted it better tho
  9. 01:31:544 (1) - Maybe make the tail of this slider self-blanket more closely? done
  10. 01:35:754 (1) - jus wanted 2 say i hate this slider and it made me break >:( xd

this is a really good map thanks man, give me motivation to try to rank

  1. 00:32:070 (1,2,3,4) - These are some ugly overlaps here tbh sir, that is offensive. overlaps have feelings too.
  2. 00:33:649 (6,1) - Hoooo boy that's some misleading anti-jump spacing bah
  3. 00:34:702 (2,3) - http://puu.sh/wJWSf/dad5c1840e.jpg cv WHY Because overlaps should be needed to take action or to something that looks appealing, rather than complaining about it. What would you expect more here? Blanket? That's a big "NO".
  4. 00:36:281 (1,2,3,4) - Also ugly overlap combo same tbh
  5. 00:39:965 (5,1) - If you were going for a slidertrack overlap here, the sliderend of 5 is a few pixels off Fine, at least the overlap stays nice.
  6. 00:45:491 (2,3,4) - There's not really anything here to map to 1/4? I only hear a 1/6 double so is this just filler rhythm 1/4? pls no cv I'm so sure it's 1/4, legit heard it in a very low playback rate more than two times, those hi-hats just merely landed at 1/4 just before the 1/6 tick on 00:45:667 -. It's not that difficult to hear it out again. This might be reconsidered if convinced, dunno.
  7. 00:47:728 (3,4) - Same here, this is 1/6, not 1/4, it's the wrong snap
  8. 00:53:912 (2,3,4) - same
  9. 01:37:334 (1,2,3,4) - Why not end with a nice internally symmetric pattern like this? http://puu.sh/wJX6U/9f3b66e637.jpg Because symmetry patterning are not really that great at representing sufficient structures, they're too solid for short. Thanks for reminding me to do something different here.

Pentori
hey
[Normal]
  1. 00:40:491 - kinda concerned with how density is handled here, you have really long chains 00:40:491 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - while also having consecutive 1/1 gaps 00:44:702 (1) - in the same section making those parts feel less intense. could probably just stick to only single 1/1 gaps / using them more often to balance it out
  2. 01:06:281 (1) - dont think the combo works that well here, previous patterns were ok cause the slider leads into the next making it intuitive 00:57:333 (1,1) - but in this instance i think u should have the follow point
[Veyron's Hard]
  1. 00:06:807 (1,2,3,4,5) - etc. i definitely cant agree with the 1/4 snapping here - the song is built around the swing beat bass so i dont see a reason to being simplifying it? the 1/6 snaps can be made to be less challenging through slider end usage, regardless you don't need to be mapping every 1/6
  2. 00:11:807 (4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - on top of that these rhythms end up making spread really harsh. compared to other diffs this is the most dense and definitely doesnt seem appropriate in a slow section, since the normal only uses the 1/2 here :/
  3. 00:23:649 (1,2,3,4) - 00:25:754 (1,2,3,4,5) - and ye etc. this stuff is like insane rhythm
  4. 00:35:754 (4) - should be ctrl g'ed? you didnt often have jumps here
  5. 01:14:175 (1,2) - minor spacing discrepancies like these can be avoided if you have stacking enabled in editor http://puu.sh/wOgg9/6b734b2344.jpg
[Irreversible's Hyper]
  1. 00:13:649 (1,1) - spacing seems pretty unexpected, should probably make it more reasonable for this difficulty
  2. 00:39:965 - wouldve expected a 1/6 repeat here similar to 00:56:807 (1)
  3. 01:16:017 (1) - bit ambiguous as to whats being followed, since u prioritise 01:16:412 - over the downbeat which has the vocal too
  4. 01:29:438 (4,6,8) - could have the ncs here too to keep consistent nc patterning
[DANGER]
  1. 00:07:333 (3) - could be nicer to use filler rhythm here so this doesnt feel so empty, kinda like 00:11:544 (4)
  2. 00:16:017 (2) - in certain instances slider ends are supported by drums 00:16:193 - and having these clickable helps distinguish that. you went for a similar approach with 00:18:298 (5) - and itd work well here too
  3. 00:46:982 (2) - extend this to the 1/6 too? keeps similar rhythm gaps between 00:47:246 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1)
pretty neat

the concerns with cv's diff kinda make me disinterested in nominating this :( so unless you have major changes for that, best of luck!

  1. 00:40:491 - kinda concerned with how density is handled here, you have really long chains 00:40:491 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - while also having consecutive 1/1 gaps 00:44:702 (1) - in the same section making those parts feel less intense. could probably just stick to only single 1/1 gaps / using them more often to balance it out i kinda changed some rhythms up so that there are breaks after these vocal sequences now 00:43:254 - instead of them chaining to each other. Though, this is also the kiai and extended sliders are kinda different from constant active clicking, so i believe it's good now
  2. 01:06:281 (1) - dont think the combo works that well here, previous patterns were ok cause the slider leads into the next making it intuitive 00:57:333 (1,1) - but in this instance i think u should have the follow pointyea
[DANGER]
  1. 00:07:333 (3) - could be nicer to use filler rhythm here so this doesnt feel so empty, kinda like 00:11:544 (4) yea
  2. 00:16:017 (2) - in certain instances slider ends are supported by drums 00:16:193 - and having these clickable helps distinguish that. you went for a similar approach with 00:18:298 (5) - and itd work well here too prefer keeping this rhythm like it is, 00:17:202 (1,2,3,4) - has less filler rhythm for a reason, because there's no background music here unlike the other one. I think it's cool to distinguish them that way
  3. 00:46:982 (2) - extend this to the 1/6 too? keeps similar rhythm gaps between 00:47:246 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1) yea, i like that

okay! we'll see what cv does then, thanks for the mod \o/

  1. 00:06:807 (1,2,3,4,5) - etc. i definitely cant agree with the 1/4 snapping here - the song is built around the swing beat bass so i dont see a reason to being simplifying it? the 1/6 snaps can be made to be less challenging through slider end usage, regardless you don't need to be mapping every 1/6 I'd probably take that opinion as "remap the rhythms" for short. I do agree with you according to this but as far as I can hear, only some of them are actually 1/6. But snapping them all into that kind of snapping, it will literally be quite a challenge for anyone to hardly recognize the rhythm composition's snaps as it were to be between 1/4 and 1/6. I find that really doubtful to turn everything to 1/6 just to follow those "swing beat bass" you're talking about and skip any other tracks left, that's kind of a reason why they were suppose to be 1/4 or whatnot. I'm still not sure yet, but I'll get to it pretty much soon to not disappoint Voli again.
  2. 00:11:807 (4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - on top of that these rhythms end up making spread really harsh. compared to other diffs this is the most dense and definitely doesn't seem appropriate in a slow section, since the normal only uses the 1/2 here :/ If it's the thing you want, then fine.
  3. 00:23:649 (1,2,3,4) - 00:25:754 (1,2,3,4,5) - and ye etc. this stuff is like insane rhythm Do they? The rhythms around this whole section is not definitely some indication that familiarize itself as an "Insane" rhythm. I've actually done a lot of 1/4 notes and other kinds of complex rhythm compositions in almost half of the difficulty in spite of 1/6 snapping. And aside from consistencies and variations, what can be bad about it when it's not used in an excessive way? ;p
  4. 00:35:754 (4) - should be ctrl g'ed? you didnt often have jumps here Alright
  5. 01:14:175 (1,2) - minor spacing discrepancies like these can be avoided if you have stacking enabled in editor http://puu.sh/wOgg9/6b734b2344.jpg I do not have the stacking option enabled in editor for your information, as it'd look pretty sloppy here of course. Not sure if that issue has to do with most of the objectives when it comes to stacking circles. But if it's for distance spacing-related, I might redo it for that.
What's wrong? My difficulty gives you goosebumps? xddd Don't even try to enforce an icon, alright? Just do what you possibly can and it's up to you, either you mind nominating the mapset or not. But eehhmm, it's Voli's map anyways lmao /runs

Didn't do a lot of changes, and applied a few mods so https://puu.sh/wQXk7/997d6028d9.rar

  1. lmao what are these slider shapes irre beautyyy
  2. 00:32:596 (1,1) - Underspaced? Might get misplayed I believe not, cuz of the slider SV
  3. 00:42:070 (5) - Shorten by 1/6 so it gets that sweet vocal? I can see where you are coming from but it's somehow getting to complex there since everything is so weirdly snapped there. I decided against it because of this unfortunately
  4. 00:42:596 (1) - This slider seems to be capturing the prolonged sound of the vocals but the vocals starts earlier so maybe start the slider earlier, or maybe even just a circle? Additionally to above, I tried that but somehow it just doesn't snap anywhere, does it?
  5. 00:43:649 (3) - Pattern is cool but it just sounds really weird to the music, maybe add a circle 1/6 before, and shorten the slider by 1/6, etc. I actually think it follows the vocals!
  6. 00:52:465 (5) - Similar issue here, like, this slider isn't really set to...anything in the music. Like what's the rationale for mapping this pattern in 1/4
  7. 00:59:438 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - This is insanely hard to read and to play for a hyper and it is not appropriate lol yeaa
  8. 01:03:649 (1) - Might also get misplayed because of underspacing
Hmm, I didn't fix a lot I'm aware of that but somehow the snapping is just weird, do you have concrete spots maybe?

Pentori: Fixed all except the rhythm suggestion, I think that it follows the background synth well and fits the mood too

re

normal
00:57:333 (1,1) - this stuff should be yellow/red right? similar to stuff like 00:32:070 (1,1) . well at least thats how it was before

veyron
00:08:298 (5) - the circle here is kinda unnecessary since theres only one vocal that supports it as opposed to the many vocals at 00:10:403 (5,6)
00:11:017 (1) - might as well just be a circle, it doesnt really make much sense to be filling in 1/6 beats that dont exist in a hard 00:11:193 . also 00:11:017 - is missing a finish
00:56:807 (4) - 1/6 repeat could work well here too similar to how 00:39:965 (5) - is done

00:37 Bakari: please come alive
00:37 Voli: o
00:37 Bakari: sweet
00:37 Bakari: still need a recheck for the danger thing?
00:37 Voli: ya :D
00:37 Bakari: I know I am like the slowest bn ever
00:37 Bakari: I am sorry
00:37 Bakari: let me re-dl, so we can quickly IRC :p
00:38 Voli: nothing can top cv's mod response speeds
00:38 Voli: im used to it xdddd
00:39 Voli: yea sure
00:39 Bakari: mkay, let me quickly check metadata and all that general stuff
00:39 Bakari: should be alright, but I'll have to do it anyway
00:39 Voli: yea
00:39 Voli: lemme see, it was confirmed somewhere in the thread
00:39 Bakari: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF8m2JIDjKU
00:39 Bakari: whoosh
00:40 Bakari: that'll do, since SMTOWN is the official label
00:41 Voli: 태민_괴도 i think thats TAEMIN - Danger
00:41 Voli: translated
00:41 Voli: yea
00:41 Bakari: yeah, it is correct
00:42 Bakari: why is the bg file like 4mb in size, btw?
00:43 Bakari: https://bakarisu.s-ul.eu/dbSAgh87.jpg give this one a try, should be approx the same quality, maybe a bit compressed
00:43 Bakari: though 8x smaller in filesize
00:43 Voli: lmao
00:43 Voli: oki sure
00:44 Bakari: it's literally heavier than the mp3 file
00:44 Voli: LOL
00:44 Voli: yea that works
00:44 Voli: thanks \o/
00:44 Bakari: kds pls
00:44 Bakari: oh wait, there are still like 4 diffs to check
00:45 Voli: haha
00:45 Voli: i already gave you kds like
00:45 Voli: half a year ago i think
00:45 Voli: but we can pretesnd that neve happened
00:45 Bakari: of course we will! how else am i supposed to farm kudosu? :D
00:46 *Bakari is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1255200 TAEMIN - Danger [Normal]]
00:46 Bakari: anyways
00:46 Bakari: 5,5 should be okay, though last time I modded it I recommended 5
00:46 Bakari: the approach rate i mean
00:46 Voli: yea i think it was 6 before
00:46 Voli: before you recommended
00:47 Voli: lemme see with 5
00:47 Bakari: either way the difference between 5 and 5,5 is minor, I'd prefer 5
00:47 Bakari: but it's up to you
00:47 Voli: 5 shoudl be good
00:47 Voli: i'll change it
00:49 Voli: should i change irre's AR slightly too
00:50 Voli: since the diff has a lot of overlappingpatterns etc
00:50 Bakari: 00:16:807 (4,7) - it's kind of a weird thing, but these feel better as 3/4 sliders to me
00:50 Bakari: somewhere around the blue tick there's a cut-off in the vocals
00:51 Voli: hmm
00:51 Voli: i always like to keep a straight forward rhythm in the easiest diff though, and its more consistent with 00:18:912 (7) - that way too
00:51 Voli: i dont use blueticks anywhere here i think
00:51 Bakari: yeah, that's why i suggested changing both 4 and 7
00:52 Bakari: besides, it doesnn't really matter where you drop the slider, since the next object is a slider as well
00:52 Voli: 00:18:912 (7) - but this one would make more sense with the vocal tho
00:52 Voli: as it is now
00:53 Bakari: 00:19:438 - isn't this a new line of the lyrics, though?
00:53 Bakari: if so, connecting two lines with a slider may not work too well anyway :p
00:53 Voli: ya it is
00:53 Voli: but theres nothing on the blue tick D:
00:53 Voli: 00:16:807 (4) - here there is though
00:54 Bakari: i clearly hear the vocals fade there, that's weird
00:54 Voli: idunno lol it feels way more sensible to me to have it end on white there
00:54 Voli: both drum and a vocal
00:54 Voli: whereas the blue tick has nothing rly tangible
00:55 Bakari: then let's keep it that way
00:55 Voli: (for the second one that is)
00:55 Voli: alrighto
00:55 Bakari: whatever works for you is the best
00:57 Voli: yea tbh i'd just use a 3/4 and a note on white if it wasnt the easiest diff
00:57 Bakari: 00:26:018 (4) - it's really weird to have this as a clickable beat, when a much stronger thing just before 00:25:754 - is unclickable
00:58 Voli: yea, i agree
00:58 Voli: do you think its better to make 00:25:754 - clickable or remove 00:26:018 (4) - altogether
00:58 Bakari: well, you can't really just remove (4) due to the way your rhythm works
00:59 Bakari: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8804619
00:59 Bakari: maybe try this?
00:59 Voli: seems good
01:00 Voli: lemme just rearrange some things then
01:01 Bakari: 00:40:491 (1) - i actually feel like this should be a 2/1 slider, just like 00:36:807 (1) -
01:03 Voli: all of them?
01:03 Voli: 00:48:912 (1) -
01:04 Voli: i was following a combination of vocal and drums
01:04 Voli: like 00:41:017 - has the low drum sound
01:05 Voli: and vocals are clickable
01:06 Bakari: i am kind of in doubt about this myself
01:06 Voli: xD
01:07 Bakari: i see that you want to follow the drums, but at the same time, I sort of want consistency with the "danger" part of the vocals
01:07 Voli: for what it matters
01:07 Voli: i followed the same patterns in the top diff
01:08 Voli: 00:40:491 (1) -
01:08 Bakari: mhm, i see
01:09 Bakari: one more thing then 00:41:281 (2) - 00:45:491 - aren't they basically identical?
01:09 Bakari: 00:49:702 (2) - ^
01:09 Voli: yea i guess that one should have a note in between too
01:10 Voli: thought doesnt it become
01:10 Voli: like
01:10 Voli: too long of a chain then?
01:10 Voli: that mightve been why i didnt do it there
01:10 Voli: iirc something in the rc said ''avoid too long object chains blabla''
01:11 Bakari: then i guess it's better if we take out each of these circles
01:12 Bakari: it's like we simplify the thing, and at the same time highligh stuff before/after the 1/2 beat
01:12 Bakari: so it's a win-win
01:12 Voli: hmm
01:12 Voli: that might actually be a good idea xD
01:12 Voli: alright
01:12 Voli: ill do that
01:12 Bakari: just a second
01:13 Bakari: check the hard to be sure that the spread allows us to do that
01:13 Voli: hard is
01:13 Voli: pretty hard
01:13 Voli: in terms of rhythm
01:14 Voli: since it introduces the 1/6 the song uses
01:14 Bakari: this makes things harder :D
01:14 Voli: haha
01:14 Voli: #blamecv
01:14 Bakari: 00:45:491 - then let's just drop the circle here, it's the kiai part after all
01:15 Voli: yea thats good
01:15 Voli: 00:51:807 - here too?
01:16 Bakari: yep
01:17 Voli: added a bunch of circles
01:17 Voli: the sr didnt increase somehow o.o
01:18 Bakari: 01:15:491 (2) - we don't really need this one, do we?
01:18 Bakari: i'm trying to balance stuff out
01:19 Voli: i could remove that yea
01:19 Bakari: 01:22:596 (1,1) - try some softer angle to match the rest of the patterns? https://bakarisu.s-ul.eu/SInLZWcx.jpg
01:20 Voli: yep
01:20 Voli: changed it in a similar manner
01:20 Voli: oh wtf
01:20 Voli: my colorhaxing fucked up
01:20 Voli: D:
01:20 Voli: brb fixing it
01:21 Bakari: oh God, we didn't think about it
01:21 Bakari: meanwhile, I'll take alook at the Danger diff
01:21 Voli: yeah ;-;
01:21 Voli: whoooops
01:21 Bakari: which is for some reason written in all caps
01:21 Voli: LOL
01:22 Voli: oh god
01:22 Voli: can they please come up with a better way to colorhax
01:22 Voli: in lazer
01:22 Voli: okay i fixed it i think xD
01:22 Bakari: isn't lazer basically the new osz 2?
01:23 Bakari: they've been telling stuff about osz2 and how it'd be a way better and years ahead of osz
01:23 Bakari: and then it never came to live :D
01:23 Voli: wtf is osz2
01:24 Voli: well apparently peppy has been working on it for the past year and it'll come out soon tm
01:24 Bakari: the whole osz2 thing was started like 7 years ago
01:24 Bakari: and was "under heavy development"
01:25 Voli: aha LOOL
01:25 Voli: just like the tier system
01:25 Voli: :^)
01:25 Voli: seriously how do i get to t2
01:25 Voli: ???
01:26 Bakari: no idea
01:26 Bakari: p/6181865/
01:26 Voli: ohhh :o
01:26 Voli: updates
01:26 Voli: ill read that after we're done
01:27 Bakari: my main issue is the readability of the SV changes for stuff like 00:48:298 (1,2) -
01:28 Bakari: JESUS CHRIST THIS IS WONDERFUL 00:57:860 (1) -
01:28 Voli: <3
01:28 Voli: until you click the slider
01:28 Voli: LOOL
01:29 Voli: https://voli.s-ul.eu/8xM6jile.png boom a wild shiirn appeared
01:29 Voli: loljk
01:29 Voli: also with the sv changes
01:30 Voli: isnt ncing them enough there?
01:30 Bakari: 01:23:123 (1,2) - 01:27:333 (1,2) - blah blah blah inconsistent spacing
01:30 Bakari: 1-2 use different SVs, yet (2) isn't NC'd
01:30 Bakari: so yeah
01:31 Voli: oh wtf it isnt
01:31 Voli: and wtf they use different svs
01:31 Voli: i will just make them the same
01:32 Bakari: btw, 00:18:298 (5) - try removing the thing, so the whole combo goes with the vocals only
01:32 Voli: fixed
01:33 Voli: i think the sound is too strong to omit tho
01:34 Voli: maybe its just an editor thing
01:34 Voli: lemme try to play it
01:35 Voli: nah i do prefer the drum being included tbh
01:35 Bakari: and one last thing
01:35 Bakari: https://bakarisu.s-ul.eu/uXjH1Eye.jpg is this normal for sliders?
01:35 Voli: mainly cuz i mapped it in almost every other instance too
01:35 Voli: hm?
01:36 Voli: you mean the sliderpoint going outside of the slider?
01:36 Bakari: the last nod is way outside of the sliderbody
01:36 Bakari: yeah
01:36 Voli: ohh
01:36 Voli: wtf o.o
01:36 Bakari: yeah it works, but if lazer does come to life, no one knows what kind of stuff may happen to slider
01:36 Voli: where's that?
01:36 Bakari: 00:36:807 (1) -
01:36 Voli: well i don't think thats necessary either way
01:36 Voli: so ill fix it
01:37 Bakari: the rest looks okay, so I guess that's about it for the irc part

Veyron's Hard
  1. 00:18:912 (6,7) - looks lik the overlap here isn't intended and is actually caused by the slight shift occuring because of the stack. Moving it just a bit further would fix that.
  2. 00:59:438 (1,2,3,4) - shouldn't (4) be flowing the same direction as the other three sliders? As they represent the same thing repeated 4 times it feels like a logical decision. example
  3. 01:33:123 (1,2,3,4) - don't these need an additional repeat? There are vocals there and the concept is very similar to 01:28:912 (1,2,3,4) -

Just a few visual changes here and there.
Irreversible's Hyper
  1. Try to use higher Approach Rate to make things like 00:59:438 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - more readable? actually suggested by Voli
  2. 00:46:017 (4) - is the circle here really needed? I'd remove it to highlight the 1/1 rhythm. Basically 00:53:123 (1,2,3,4) - this.

    Looks cool.

Hey, most of these kinds of overlaps are obviously intentional though (Can't tell by the looks or something?). As for this point,
the overlap here is mostly likely visible just not only for the stack, even moving this out further would still do the same thing. Would rather keep a few overlaps a bit simple than just moving it over.
  2. 00:59:438 (1,2,3,4) - shouldn't (4) be flowing the same direction as the other three sliders? As they represent the same thing repeated 4 times it feels like a logical decision. example Might do

There are vocals there and the concept is very similar to 01:28:912 (1,2,3,4) - Most likely not very similar by the sound of the vocals. if it weren't to start its landing on the blue ticks than the regular ones, I wouldn't start the slider heads on the white tick for it though. So to keep rhythms a little more simple and less dense, I'd better not overuse a ton of 1/4 repeated sliders.

Just a few visual changes here and there.

Voli, can you increase the AR?

Also, add a circle at 00:54:438 - at 344 64

Bakari: I've added a circle at the second spot because I feel like it should be highlighted. Leaving it bland would be weird, but I made it consistent at least.

Thanks!
