What was the first song you ever downloaded for osu?

Mine was ztrot's Ass Up from Nightcore III, a youtube video of it inspired me to start playing.

The Hard difficulty was so difficult to play when I first began. It's one of those maps that punish you for not getting 300s, but now I play it easily =P

You are not alone, because it was the easiest beatmap I could find that had a song I knew. I figured that, coupled with my skill at the Ouendan/EBA games, it would be a good place to start.

I failed utterly, over and over again.

Even though I've long since retired from osu!, I'll always think of my time here fondly. If by chance you happen to notice this signature on some old forum thread, thanks for stopping by and I hope you're having a great day!

the first song i've downloaded when the begining.. then I always watch replay by ShaggoN, he amazing player

At the first time I think that song is a crazy hard but it's not, after 1 month I'd practicing everyday I can FC'ed that song with hidden mode

Yeah, back when I was *less* weeaboo, I liked songs like this. It was a pretty easy map too, so I gave it quite a few tries.

Pretty sure it was Lucky Star - Motteke! Sailor Fuku (REDALiCE Remix). It was on the first page of ranked beatmaps when I joined, and I liked Lucky Star so I picked it.

I'm not sure if that was the first one I played, but I saw a video of that map being played on YouTube, which is how I discovered the game. I can't remember if I played that one first, or if I tried out one of the beginner's packs first...or I might've played Sayonara Solitaire first, it was listed as one of the easiest maps on beginner and I love Chrono Crusade.

I started out with these Masato Nakamura - Sonic 1 Staff Credits and Haru - Flowering Night (Instrumental).

I played Sonic hardcore back then, but it drifted away since. The latter exposed me to Touhou after playing it an X amount of times.
