MiddleIsland is a japanese artist that produces music in neoclassical style, oftentimes dominated by piano and strings. Despite providing vocals in a lot of pieces, MiddleIsland is mainly known within the osu!community for dynamic instrumental themes and had appearances as part of the mappool of almost every osu! world cup up to this date.
Beyond common belief, most songs by MiddleIsland don't require variable bpm as suggested by Roze as a prominent example. I will try to add colorcodes to all songs to rate the difficulty in timing. My current idea is Most basic/Available from me, requires a little effort and requires a lot of effort. Due to the sole appearance of instrumental songs in osu! at this point of time I will also provide a colorcode to differ between instrumental and vocal tracks.
The albums are ordered by release.
You can hear previews of all albums by selecting the album on official website. I might add pretimed .osz-files for download at a later point. You can ask me for mp3s but there's no guarantee I will have them at this point as MiddleIsland albums usually don't ship oversea. If I added a timing to a title I do have the mp3 for sure but not necessarily all mp3s for that album. I also offer to assist you figuring out the perfect timing for variable bpm parts once you finished mapping the constant bpm part of a song.
Drop a post here if you work on a set for a certain song so I can keep the discography up to date. I will only add links/icons for sets that actually look like sets, not single-diff submissions unless fulfilling the marathon-criteria.
Suggestions for formatting and about anything are welcome.
For now it would be nice if someone could provide the missing romanisations for titles/album titles or fix the ones I screwed up as I had no choice but using online-romanisers for the Kanji.
