I don't know if its my headphones or the mp3 itself but just by listening to the preview, there is so much crackling and it just destroys my ears, and I almost don't want to mod this because of it but, i'm a man of my word so ill give it a shot.

In my complete and honest opinion as a player, this difficulty is not fun. there are way to many overlaps and random circles everywhere, it feels like this is trying to be a hollow wings map but just, a bad interpretation of it. After trying to play this atleast 15 times, i realize that this just isn't fun. Sorry, but onto mods.

Ar is low for these kind of jumps, And CS is practically unplayable because of all the strange and out of nowehere patterns.
My suggestion - AR9.5, OD8.5 CS4
00:32:236 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - the second set of spaced streams just come out of nowhere, atleast nerf the spacing on these or do something
00:35:062 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - this is just not a good pattern, incredibly hard to sightread on ar9
00:35:932 (1,2,1,2,3,4) - ^^^
00:37:019 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - You really need to make this a higher CS. with patterns like these the map just look clumped together and there is absolutely no spacing.
00:42:019 (1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Spacing between 4 and 1 is fucked, please change this or do something with it. Patterns like these may look aesthetically good, but they are not fun to play.
00:47:019 (3,4,5,1) - Transition from 4,5 to 1 is odd.
This is about all i really want to mod with this difficulty. If i were to mod the rest it would practically take up my whole day. This isn't meant to be just me sounding like a dick. But this difficulty in my complete and honest opinion, is not good.

AR8? I know this is a low bpm but if you're gonna do this size CS, then atleast make it ar9... I know im not the only one who thinks this looking at other mods.

After playing this. It's borderline unplayable with AR8, if you're going for trying to make this an alternating map then this is beyond too slow for it...

I can't mod this difficulty for the reason being that there is just so many things i personally do not like about it, and for the fact that its pretty much unplayable with ar8, i played it with ar9 and it just feels a lot better.

My suggestion - AR9.5, OD8.5 CS4 :arrow: sure i can understand AR/OD i'll think about it, but changing CS makes this map significantly harder, and is basically an entire remap. some patterns only work because of circle size leniency.

After playing this. It's borderline unplayable with AR8, if you're going for trying to make this an alternating map then this is beyond too slow for it... :arrow: if you can't read ar8 theres not much i can say. i dont think any particular section makes it 'unplayable' and its not mapped so clumped together that notelocking is possible,neither is the note density consistently high.

6th mapped the part before this, so it's up to him whether there should be jumps in his part or not.
I'll keep the jumps because I think they fit well. There are also similar jumps near the end, so it's not completely inconsistent.

There's actually a sound on the blue tick which I'm trying to follow.
Previous and following parts with this sound on the blue tick such as 00:44:301 - , 00:51:258 - and 00:54:736 - all have objects on them, in this case, slider ends.
It wouldn't really make sense to map the red tick in this part of the measure, since none of the parallel beats to this one of the hypermeasure are mapped.

Definitely a fair point. I'll probably fix it later; one negligible change like this isn't really enough to update the whole GD with lol

hm, after playing this it felt a lot more like a light insane. you should add another diff to bridge the gap between normal and hyper as your current spread doesn't feel suitable. hyper utilities blue tick rhythm and streams way too much in comparison to none being used in the normal and doesn't feel right for players that are trying to advanced to the next level.

I definitely agree with this.
The map was never made to fill the gap between Normal and Insane. During the creation of Hyper, the Hard difficulty, created by kwk, was still present.
Hard had an SR of ~2.8
Insane had an SR of ~4.3
So we were basically aiming for ~3.55 SR
When hard was removed I was a bit worried that our map wouldn't fit the spread properly and I still am. At one point the idea that we should rename our map to "Hard" came up, which I instantly rejected, because our map was definitely closer to an insane than a hard.

This does not fit in a Hard lol


If a Hard difficulty is being planned, I would suggest aiming for 2.87 SR.
Hyper 3.51 SR, Normal 2.23 SR.
(3.51 + 2.23) / 2 = 2.87

It's a bit strange, I agree. I tried to copy 6th's previous way of streaming, but now that it's gone I guess it'll only cause inconsistency.

hm, after playing this it felt a lot more like a light insane. you should add another diff to bridge the gap between normal and hyper as your current spread doesn't feel suitable. hyper utilities blue tick rhythm and streams way too much in comparison to none being used in the normal and doesn't feel right for players that are trying to advanced to the next level. :arrow: i'll get some opinions on spread, im not too sure myself

This diff is already really well done imo, I'll give you some suggestions of mine
00:26:149 (3) - how about making a curve before the red anchor so it flows better. Like this http://puu.sh/pYZuG/29fd987d07.jpg (adjust the blanket a little bit at the curve after the red anchor)
00:30:822 (4,1) - this has higher spacing (x1.45) than 00:30:605 (2,3) - (x1.00) which is awkward to follow with your cursor. i recommend to make same or at least lower DS there
00:38:540 (4) - personal thing: make this shape look a bit cleaner and maybe not too bent
00:39:518 (4,1) - (x1.88) hmmm for consistency (which is important in an alternate tapping map imo): make this the same DS like at 00:32:561 (4,1) - (x1.40)
since its the same music (i recommend to apply this all over the map)
00:42:236 (1,1) - it sounds better if you make 1/1 sliders instead of a simple circle because it emphasizes the special sound in the music
00:56:366 (2,1) - DS way too high imo (well that also may count for 00:56:910 (4,1) - )
01:20:171 - do you really want to get that sound covered by the slider? just a note here~
01:31:366 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - I just loveeeee that!! :D

Overall a really nice map but maybe you can take an advantage of using more consistent DS, e.g. 00:15:280 (1,2,3) - this feels way more pleasant with same DS. Also make sure your sliders and slidercurves look clean and try to make a bit more flow related things (especially in alternate tapping maps its really important to have very much of it in it)

Well.. thats it for me I guess, since it is a free mod I leave it now. Really like the song and map so keep it up! :D
