Mouse is bad for osu? cant fc 4.8*

I feel like it just keeps me from fc-ing stuff, its always a break because i either cant reach a note cause well...mouse and either i just slider break cause it goes too fast.
sometimes it slides really fast on my mousepad and its smooth, other times it feels like moving a bag of rocks , i swear.
i thought of getting a tablet but first i wanted to ask this:
I cant fc 4.8*, and im widely playing 5.5-6* and i'm able to get the jumps really really really really well, same goes for streams (some).
as in tv size or anything that is pretty much for me to fc my aim is just crap, i start choking really early on, for example when i get like 150 combo on tv size or 400 on long ones. I find them kinda easy but i still cant fc any of them :)
for example i almost fc-ed a 5.2 stars map a few days ago so yeah...thats a thing..

i dont think you undersood what i meant.
my aim is pretty goot (imo) on 5.5-6* songs, while on 4.7-4.8* songs its just rubbish, i get so many dumb breaks and misses plus i choke really early.
thats the problem, not me being completly trash at aiming.

You sure the problem is aim? Because assuming both are aim maps, there's no way you can't aim 4.8 star while able to aim 5.6 star. The problem might be something else, like tapping or reading, for example.

It's still your choice though whether you want to buy a tablet or stick to your mouse

Mouse isn't bad? Did you even ask what mouse he has? Because some mice are heavy. And you can't control it well. Mouse is bad, for me at least. It's uncomfortable and builds muscles that you won't even need if you get a tablet. Sometimes i can't even grab the mouse right, it's just too weird and uncomfortable. And get that "Play more" Bullsh*t out of here. I go home, eat and play osu! all the damn day, nothing else but school.

I also play mouse (800 DPI 0.7 in game sens) and I can asure you that you can FC with mouse. You just need more practice.

Try to download some jump training maps since they usually have more long jumps than ranked maps, stop playing maps just to FC but instead try to play at the limit of your reading skill and stop playing TV size maps. Try some longer 4 min+ maps or try to push in the 5* rating to see what's the highest you can pass. The skill will come to you.

Even if you blame the mouse and get a tablet, you will still hit a wall eventually because you are not pushing your skill boundaries at all by only playing to get FCs. At least that's my two cents.

P.S. Your mouse does matter. If you have a cheap 10 bucks mouse it could very well be bad. I'm assuming that you have a decent gaming mouse, if not it could be holding you back indeed.

From my experience I think mouse is more enjoyable sort of, but i still play tablet because im too lazy to switch back. Mouse doesnt really affect ur gameplay badly unless ur going pro, its just prefference, and ive also heard that many good osu players use pen simply because it hurts less in longer sessions of osu gameplay.

Touchscreen is easy for jump maps. Stream maps and your dead if touchscreen.
