I used to have moments where it would shoot to 477 for a few seconds then back down to about 420 but after I changed to a different setup I can't spin as fast now.

A friend of mine once had 471 but I wasn't fast enough to capture screenshot >_>
My personal best, hm... old mouse around 420, new mouse around 380 (I can't spin realy well at all)

I once got 476RPM, but then a piece of my mouse flew away (seriously, lol).

Usually I spin 440RPM, but if the spinner is long and I want some more points I go up to 465+.

350 not trying hard/long spinners. 420 medium spinners/trying. I can keep 460 for like 1 second.

It's only gay if the sliders touch.

It's most likely due to framerate. On your old setup, if it wasn't pushing out at least 60 fps calculated spinner speed is a lot higher than it really is.

For me, I can easily spin 477 just by turning shader effects on. It's lovely.

That wouldn't be it. osu works the same once its over 60fps.

The biggest thing (besides practicing a lot obviously) that I've found helps spinning is reducing mouse friction. My spinning got a lot faster once I got a decent mouse and mousepad because I could move my hand faster and easier.

I get between 3000-6000fps.
proc : i7 980x and my gpu is a geforce 480gtx
I delete background/video/skin and play in 1280x800, all effects off (only snake sliders)

Why do you delete your background and video? To make it faster? I don't think video is gonna matter much with your specs

so 475 to 440 to 300 (very tired my hand -__-)

I average at 300-360. How do you get that fast? is it a matter of good mouse/mousepad and a high dpi or is it something that comes with practice?
