Catch the Beat Modder Association


Round 4 is currently open.

A huge thanks to OnosakiHito for the incredible amount of help and support. This team is built on the basis of his Taiko Nominator's Association.

Announcement Languages: ENGLISH | DEUTSCH | ESPAÑOL

Basic Information
  1. This is not an average modding queue, so please read this announcement before requesting any mod.
  2. This queue will open at random times in order to achieve maximum fairness to all mappers. It will be open once a week.
  3. The queue will reopen when all maps are declined or successfully modded.
  4. The queue will be reopened by a member of the CMA in a post on this thread, rather than edited into the main post.
  5. The queue can open at additional times in which we will take some extra mapsets, depending on how much work we can handle.
  6. The amount of requests we take per week will vary depending on the activity of the members, as well as the size of the mapset to ensure maximum quality.
  7. If the CMA queue has assisted in your map being ranked within 1 week of you submitting your map here, you are locked out of the queue for the next round.
  8. If a map that the CMA queue has assisted in qualifying gets disqualified, we will assist in pushing your map back to qualified/ranked upon resubmission of your mapset.

Requirements for acceptance

To make your map be accepted by the CMA, you have to fulfill one of the two requirements down below:

  1. Provide two recent mods (max. 3 weeks old) of yours on any CTB map you want.
  2. Provide one mod on one of the maps which were not accepted by the CMA. We will list every declined map into a special list that can be used for this. (see below)
Please ensure the quality of your mapset to be of the highest, so that way you have a higher chance of your mapset being accepted by us! The higher the quality, the more likely your mapset will be to recieve mods, or even icons from our team! If your mapset does not meet the minimum quality we require to be accepted or to be on the special list, we will reject your mapset with a brief explaination (not a mod) on what we believe you should fix before resubmitting. We're here to help you, not to do all of the work for you.

Reasons for declining
  1. Platter shows some promise but lacks creativity
  2. Some patterns feel forced for difficulty, especially in Rain
  3. Spacing issues in Rain that should be fixed
  4. Flow is poor in certain sections of the map

    Please consider getting a few more modders to improve this before resubmitting it here, don't give up!

- If you submitted to here last week, you MUST mod one of the maps in the Special Queue
- CMA Members can now submit their mapsets to the queue, but non-members have priority if we get too many.

sorry. we've had some members leave or go inactive, please forgive us. I'll open the queue, but reminder that it will take some more time now that we are so short on staff. I'm still even modding the previous maps ww
