---------------
So it took about as long as I expected and had to be revived from the grave about six times along the way, but it finally happened. I couldn't recall anyone ranking a set with all modes mapped solely by themselves, so I set myself a challenge to see if it could be done. The journey has been long and a little stressful at times, but ultimately, worth every second spent.

Yes, it's not the most rhythmically demanding song, and yes, the difficulty spread won't offer much for some people, but hopefully you'll be able to enjoy playing these relaxing difficulties, and perhaps even try a mode you never played before! This song was arguably my favourite from the Dark Cloud series and played a defining part of my childhood, so to see it brought to life for quite literally everyone to enjoy means a great deal to me.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. I really cannot thank you all enough <3

2015-10-04 16:00 Ascendance: wub wub here we go
2015-10-04 16:00 Ascendance: ACTION is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/796252 Nishiura Tomohito - Gundorada Workshop [Easy]]
2015-10-04 16:00 JBHyperion: ayyy
2015-10-04 16:01 Ascendance: 00:00:465 (1,2) -
2015-10-04 16:01 Ascendance: can turn this into a cheeky blanket like [https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3769278 bleh] or any other what you'd like
2015-10-04 16:02 Ascendance: you can also line (3) up like [https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3769283 this]
2015-10-04 16:02 JBHyperion: off-blanket is intentional for (1,2), I don't want to curve the sliders enough to account for the low DS
2015-10-04 16:03 JBHyperion: I could curve 00:03:277 (1) - more to blanket the head of the previous slider though I guess
2015-10-04 16:04 Ascendance: I moved the slider to show the blanket a bit better [https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3769297 here]. I did this only moving the middle vertex down 1 and the right vertex up 1
2015-10-04 16:05 Ascendance: 00:06:090 (1) - would suggest making this a curved slider since the pattern is the same as 00:03:277 (1,2) - but that's just nitpicking
2015-10-04 16:07 Ascendance: 00:14:527 (1) - curving like [https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3769313 this] would make it flow a little better into 00:15:933 (2) - I think
2015-10-04 16:08 Ascendance: 00:27:183 (2) - can be turned into a blanket without disrupting distance snap
2015-10-04 16:08 Ascendance: 00:32:340 - strong sound, maybe circle?
2015-10-04 16:09 JBHyperion: 00:06:090 (1) - is angled for the second guitar sound so I prefer to keep that
2015-10-04 16:09 Ascendance: ah
2015-10-04 16:10 JBHyperion: orientation of 00:14:527 (1) - is a compromise between flow in both directions, I might rotate it a bit instead
2015-10-04 16:11 Ascendance: 00:48:277 (1) - flows a bit strangely from 00:46:871 (2) - highly suggest something like [https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3769335 this] so that way 00:49:683 (2) - can follow the same way back down the 00:46:871 (2) - slider
2015-10-04 16:13 JBHyperion: 00:25:777 (1,2) - making a blanket here requires moving (2) too much for my liking
2015-10-04 16:13 JBHyperion: not sure why there's no circle at 00:32:340 - added
2015-10-04 16:16 JBHyperion: 00:46:871 (2,1) - has a reasonably smooth oval flow, I don't find it to be a problem tbh
2015-10-04 16:16 Ascendance: i guess it's just preference
2015-10-04 16:17 JBHyperion: I changed my mind about that blanket at the start btw, changed some others so may as well be consistent
2015-10-04 16:17 JBHyperion: (^:
2015-10-04 16:17 Ascendance: ok!
2015-10-04 16:17 Ascendance: ACTION is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/796253 Nishiura Tomohito - Gundorada Workshop [EZ]]
2015-10-04 16:17 Ascendance: blop
2015-10-04 16:18 JBHyperion: oh dear
2015-10-04 16:18 JBHyperion: this may be awful#
2015-10-04 16:18 JBHyperion: xD
2015-10-04 16:18 Ascendance: big thing I notice is that many of your patterns lean to the left 2 columns
2015-10-04 16:18 JBHyperion: first ever mania map so yeah
2015-10-04 16:18 Ascendance: especially at the beginning of the map, I almost never used column 4, but it got better as the diff went on
2015-10-04 16:19 JBHyperion: column by pitch an d there are a lot of low guitar sounds so yeah
2015-10-04 16:19 JBHyperion: I'll shift some stuff over early on
2015-10-04 16:19 JBHyperion: 00:07:496 (7496|3) - is an easy move
2015-10-04 16:20 JBHyperion: moved 00:29:058 (29058|3) - to 4 also
2015-10-04 16:20 Ascendance: 00:20:152 (20152|3) -
2015-10-04 16:20 Ascendance: feel like this note holds a bit longer than it should
2015-10-04 16:21 Ascendance: you could cut the hold a bit short and add a "circle" at 00:21:090 -
2015-10-04 16:21 JBHyperion: I was just about to say it ends for the second guitar sound
2015-10-04 16:21 JBHyperion: but it's strong enough to be clickable so yeah
2015-10-04 16:21 JBHyperion: nice idea
2015-10-04 16:22 Ascendance: 00:35:621 (35621|3,35621|1,36324|3) - these notes here on the "bloop" (idk how else to describe them) sounds are mapped, but aren't on the pattern following it 00:37:027 (37027|0,37027|2) - here
2015-10-04 16:23 JBHyperion: I figured the 1/2 space between pressing the boop and releasing the slider might be too hard for an EZ
2015-10-04 16:23 JBHyperion: I'll shorten the slider and add a note instead
2015-10-04 16:24 JBHyperion: consistency with 00:35:621 (35621|3,35621|1,36324|3) -
2015-10-04 16:24 Ascendance: yeah
2015-10-04 16:24 Ascendance: I was about to ask actually why that specific one was so long
2015-10-04 16:24 JBHyperion: xD
2015-10-04 16:24 Ascendance: 00:42:652 (42652|0) - same could be said here maybe but not too sure
2015-10-04 16:24 Ascendance: with the bloop noise
2015-10-04 16:24 Ascendance: since 00:44:058 (44058|3,44761|3) - these are mapped
2015-10-04 16:25 JBHyperion: guitar is more prominent here, I think the slider is worth mapping more
2015-10-04 16:26 JBHyperion: also I'm alternating between mapping the boops and not
2015-10-04 16:26 Ascendance: ah
2015-10-04 16:26 JBHyperion: so I guess I'll keep this for now
2015-10-04 16:26 JBHyperion: until I get made to change something else and don't have an excuse anymore xD
2015-10-04 16:26 Ascendance: 01:20:621 (80621|1,80621|0,81090|1,81558|2,82027|3) - probably don't need to change this, but since the notes escalate quite nicely, I did [http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3769403 this]
2015-10-04 16:27 Ascendance: 01:36:090 (96090|3,96090|2) - boop boop consistency
2015-10-04 16:28 Ascendance: won't do taiko since I'm garbage at it
2015-10-04 16:28 JBHyperion: done and done, on the second suggestion the boops are too prominent to ignore so screw "consistency" (:
2015-10-04 16:29 Ascendance: ACTION is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/796259 Nishiura Tomohito - Gundorada Workshop [NM]]
2015-10-04 16:29 Ascendance: interesting diff
2015-10-04 16:30 JBHyperion: this is where it will get bad probably
2015-10-04 16:30 JBHyperion: I don't play LN maps often but the song really didn't suit anything else imo
2015-10-04 16:30 JBHyperion: so I had to experiment a bit
2015-10-04 16:30 JBHyperion: >.<
2015-10-04 16:30 Ascendance: yeah understandable'
2015-10-04 16:30 Ascendance: 00:02:574 (2574|2) -
2015-10-04 16:30 Ascendance: NM is still kind of a beginner difficulty, so these kinds of notes will trip up some players
2015-10-04 16:31 JBHyperion: I'll just make that a circle then
2015-10-04 16:31 JBHyperion: gonna keep calling them circles
2015-10-04 16:31 Ascendance: yeah
2015-10-04 16:31 JBHyperion: even though they're clearly rectangles (^:
2015-10-04 16:31 Ascendance: let me testplay one more time
2015-10-04 16:31 JBHyperion: k
2015-10-04 16:32 Ascendance: 00:12:183 (12183|2,12652|3) -
2015-10-04 16:33 Ascendance: especially coming off of 00:11:715 (11715|0) - this note, it's hard for newbies to be able to know when to let go of this note and prepare for the next one
2015-10-04 16:33 Ascendance: especially since they are in opposite columns
2015-10-04 16:34 JBHyperion: should I just make 00:11:715 (11715|0) - a circle then?
2015-10-04 16:34 JBHyperion: on the downbeat
2015-10-04 16:34 Ascendance: yeah
2015-10-04 16:35 JBHyperion: I guess if I do that I should do the same with 00:12:183 (12183|2) as well? or no
2015-10-04 16:35 JBHyperion: 00:12:183 (12183|2) -
2015-10-04 16:35 JBHyperion: dumb editor links xD
2015-10-04 16:35 Ascendance: yup
2015-10-04 16:35 Ascendance: I feel like you can still make it an LN map without making these patterns too difficult
2015-10-04 16:36 Ascendance: 00:13:121 (13121|3,13121|0) - stuff like this is fine because they both start together but one ends earlier
2015-10-04 16:36 JBHyperion: k
2015-10-04 16:36 JBHyperion: I am fixing stuff that repeats in the second half as well
2015-10-04 16:36 JBHyperion: where I used similar patterns
2015-10-04 16:37 Ascendance: 00:22:965 (22965|0,22965|1,23433|2,23902|3,24371|2,24371|0,25074|3,25308|2,25543|1,25777|1,25777|2,26246|0,26715|3,27183|3,27183|1,28121|2) -
2015-10-04 16:37 Ascendance: oh thats a long link
2015-10-04 16:37 JBHyperion: lol
2015-10-04 16:37 Ascendance: some of these side ln's can be turned into circles as well
2015-10-04 16:38 Ascendance: 00:38:433 (38433|2) - circle
2015-10-04 16:38 Ascendance: 00:41:246 (41246|3) - ^
2015-10-04 16:38 Ascendance: 00:42:183 (42183|1) - ^
2015-10-04 16:39 Ascendance: then the song just goes into a repeat after that and you said you're fixing it so I'll wait
2015-10-04 16:39 JBHyperion: will sort them out, but I wanted to ask you about one pattern in particular
2015-10-04 16:39 JBHyperion: 00:34:215 (34215|1,34215|2,35621|0) -
2015-10-04 16:39 JBHyperion: this is the only pattern I really struggle with
2015-10-04 16:40 JBHyperion: I always let go of coulmn 3
2015-10-04 16:40 JBHyperion: as I move to press 1
2015-10-04 16:40 JBHyperion: any suggestions?
2015-10-04 16:41 Ascendance: I say 00:35:621 (35621|0) - delete this and maybe follow the snare instead of the bloop
2015-10-04 16:42 JBHyperion: added two notes on white ticks at 00:36:090 (36090|0,36558|0) -
2015-10-04 16:42 Ascendance: yup
2015-10-04 16:42 JBHyperion: cool thanks
2015-10-04 16:42 JBHyperion: just fixing stuff in the second half
2015-10-04 16:43 Ascendance: np np
2015-10-04 16:43 Ascendance: 01:14:996 (74996|3,74996|1,75465|2,75933|0,76168|2) - This part could be easier also
2015-10-04 16:46 JBHyperion: shortened 01:13:590 (73590|2,74996|1) - by one beat so there's less instant switching
2015-10-04 16:46 JBHyperion: should I swap the columns of 01:14:996 (74996|1,75465|2) - as well?
2015-10-04 16:46 JBHyperion: dunno if that would be easier to read
2015-10-04 16:47 Ascendance: if you put the ln in column 3 it interferes with 01:13:590 (73590|2) -
2015-10-04 16:48 JBHyperion: yes but I shortened it to accomodate that
2015-10-04 16:48 Ascendance: ah
2015-10-04 16:48 JBHyperion: that note can be made to end on the previous white tick I think
2015-10-04 16:48 JBHyperion: the "end" of some of the sounds is kinda ambiguous
2015-10-04 16:48 Ascendance: I suggest shortening 01:14:996 (74996|1) - by 1 as well
2015-10-04 16:48 JBHyperion: they just "fade"
2015-10-04 16:48 JBHyperion: yup already done ;)
2015-10-04 16:49 Ascendance: rip me
2015-10-04 16:49 JBHyperion: nw xD
2015-10-04 16:50 Ascendance: I think maybe [https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3769497 this] for the next part
2015-10-04 16:50 JBHyperion: nice, I like the effect it gives 01:17:340 (77340|2,77574|3) -
2015-10-04 16:51 Ascendance: 01:19:215 (79215|1,79683|2) - maybe swapping these columns gives it a similar effect as well into the next segment
2015-10-04 16:52 Ascendance: 01:20:855 (80855|2) - ghost note
2015-10-04 16:52 JBHyperion: there's a faint guitar sound there, but it's probably too much for this diff, so yeah removed
2015-10-04 16:53 Ascendance: 01:23:433 (83433|3,84136|3) -
2015-10-04 16:53 JBHyperion: removed the ln here and followed the piano instead 01:29:058 (89058|0) -
2015-10-04 16:54 Ascendance: I would swap 01:23:433 (83433|3,84136|3) - with 01:23:433 (83433|2) - and change the LN
2015-10-04 16:54 JBHyperion: mirror 01:24:136 (84136|3,84371|1,84605|0) - ?
2015-10-04 16:54 Ascendance: yes
2015-10-04 16:55 JBHyperion: like [https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3769517 this]?
2015-10-04 16:55 Ascendance: 01:25:074 (85074|2,85308|3) - If you want to keep these, I suggest removing 01:24:840 (84840|0) -
2015-10-04 16:55 JBHyperion: inb4 I got totally the wrong idea
2015-10-04 16:55 JBHyperion: and sure, done
2015-10-04 16:55 Ascendance: 01:27:183 (87183|1) - remove this and make it a circle for the last note of the guitar?
2015-10-04 16:56 JBHyperion: already done (:
2015-10-04 16:56 Ascendance: I forget you made many changes to this half
2015-10-04 16:56 Ascendance: 01:29:058 (89058|0) - extend?
2015-10-04 16:58 JBHyperion: so it's the samle length as 01:29:058 (89058|2) - ?
2015-10-04 16:58 Ascendance: yeah
2015-10-04 16:59 JBHyperion: done
2015-10-04 16:59 Ascendance: 01:30:465 (90465|1) - would delete this note since there's no discernable noise that ends there (that I can hear)
2015-10-04 17:00 JBHyperion: yup
2015-10-04 17:00 Ascendance: 01:37:496 (97496|1,97730|2,97965|0,98199|2,98433|3) - could match 01:34:683 (94683|0,94918|2,95152|1,95386|2,95621|1) -
2015-10-04 17:01 JBHyperion: sure
2015-10-04 17:01 JBHyperion: I halfed changed this earlier so may as well make it consistent
2015-10-04 17:02 Ascendance: ACTION is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/796256 Nishiura Tomohito - Gundorada Workshop [HD]]
2015-10-04 17:02 Ascendance: testplay first
2015-10-04 17:03 Ascendance: I feel like this has the same LN issues as the last one except a bit less severe since it's HD
2015-10-04 17:04 JBHyperion: well I guess now I know what I'm looking for lol
2015-10-04 17:04 Ascendance: yeah, if you wanna check it and then poke me again I can do that
2015-10-04 17:04 JBHyperion: sure, that's fine
2015-10-04 17:04 Ascendance: ok
2015-10-04 17:05 Ascendance: I'll post logs in the thread for what we've done so far and then we can continue
2015-10-04 17:05 JBHyperion: thank you so much
2015-10-04 17:05 JBHyperion: I wish I could give more than 1 kudosu lol
2015-10-04 17:06 Ascendance: you helped me so much with my last mapset, it's just a small thanks I can give you

back for o!m hd when JBH fixes some patterns we discussed, won't mod taiko cause I'm secretly the next tasuke bad at it. Maybe not CTB either since he probably knows his CTB stuff and I'll let the more proficient modders do that.

Yes sir!
tfw ranking CtB is just as hard so I've been stuck in this trap for months already xD

Surprise! pretty sure this kept you from ranking my set

You should know what does red and bold means in my mod posts :^)
And I lost all my mod progress for STD ;-;

[General]
  1. Pretty sure, soft-finish is having delays more than 5ms. Tell me if this is correct.
  2. It looks fine other than that.
[Easy]
  1. 01:13:590 (1,2,3) - Well I can give credibility to the seagulls' wings looking like pattern, but this kind of flow may kind of confuse beginners at first, as (1) is somewhat pointing at (2) instead of (3), thus potentially making them click (3) first. Well, not really a must to change as it is not really serious, but just throwing it out there.
  2. Well a clean Easy, I liked it a lot :D
[Normal]
  1. Hmm... Now I've notices the CS spread is 3>4>5... I'm not sure if that is viable, as technically ENH spread should be somewhere close to 'beginner-friendly' (like you've mentioned), and CS 5 is definitely not really that close to it ;-; You may want to consider using 3>3.5>4 instead. Or maybe I'm just getting things wrong.
  2. 00:02:574 (5) - This slider doesn't sound that good, as there are almost no sound (other than a really faint one) that does really justifies the tail of the slider... Removing the repeat on this slider will give a nice 1 beat pause towards the next note, and also will remove the weirdness of this slider. Also applies to all other similar sliders.
  3. 00:24:371 (4,1) - Ok this is a bit more of a serious issue then the one mentioned in Easy, (4) is literally pointing towards (1). Since this is a ENH spread you could expect lots of newer players to play Normal judging by the star rating on it. You may want to re-arrange the pattern. There are few more present in the difficulty, look over for them.
  4. I mean, other than those issues up there, looks fine for me.
[Hard]
  1. 00:22:496 (6,7,1) - The overlap with (4) is avoidable if these notes were at the bottom of 00:22:027 (5) - , the overlap may reduce the readability for few players and that will be bad.
  2. 00:23:433 (2,3) - Comparing the distances(not using the DS value) between these 2 notes and 00:23:902 (3,4) - these 2 notes, these notes definitely have way lesser DS than those 2, which is kinda messy. You could bring (3) down bit more to equate the distance between those 2 sets of notes for the sake of aesthetics.
  3. 01:10:308 (3,4,1) - Wo this caught me off-guard while I was testplaying o.o I don't really know how to explain this... But maybe you would want to play it safe and stack these notes, like you did for all others to not catch people off-guard. Just my opinion, not really a must to change it I guess.
  4. 01:31:871 (1) - Don't really get why a NC is placed here, it is not like there is any SV changes on this note, nor it is justifying any confusing patterns out of the blue... it should be removed to keep the consistency.
  5. Well everything flows well IMO, good difficulty :D
[Cup]
  1. 00:20:152 (1) - I don't really get why this downbeat distance is the same as 00:17:340 (1) - when this downbeat isn't that strong compared to 00:17:340 (1) - . You could possibly lower the distances for these kind of downbeats to express the song better, maybe.
  2. 00:41:246 (3,4) - Pretty much a nitpicky point, the distance between these 2 notes could be lower as the instrument that these are emphasizing on aren't on the same strength like 00:35:621 (3,4) - .
  3. 00:55:308 (3) - Don't really get why this note's distance is lower than 00:21:558 (3) - this when both of them are emphasizing on the same instrument and the strength.
  4. Well I've found nothing else, you know me when it comes to CtB modding.
Man I feel tired to be summoned by my professor 5 times when I was modding this ;-; I'm so tired now... I'll be coming back to mod the rest of the spread.

And I lost all my mod progress for STD ;-; D:

[General]
  1. Pretty sure, soft-finish is having delays more than 5ms. Tell me if this is correct. I only see a delay of 1ms (see below) which I'll fix anyway. The buildup into the sound is gradual, but I wouldn't call it a "delay". Will see what others think
No it's a valid suggestion and I agree with you on it's potential to confuse. I Ctrl+J'ed 01:13:590 (1) and moved down so the slider is pointing more towards (2)
  2. Well a clean Easy, I liked it a lot :D <3
[Normal]
  1. I'll change this if I absolutely have to, but I feel the current settings create a unique touch not found in other maps and I don't see why slightly higher CS than normal can't be acceptable here due to the low BPM and reasonably simplistic rhythms
  2. 00:02:574 (5) - This slider doesn't sound that good, as there are almost no sound (other than a really faint one) that does really justifies the tail of the slider... Removing the repeat on this slider will give a nice 1 beat pause towards the next note, and also will remove the weirdness of this slider. Also applies to all other similar sliders. I don't find these to be weird at all, there's a guitar sound that extends to this tick in each case (and often a synth/drum sound too) so I feel they're justified
  3. 00:24:371 (4,1) - Ok this is a bit more of a serious issue then the one mentioned in Easy, (4) is literally pointing towards (1). Since this is a ENH spread you could expect lots of newer players to play Normal judging by the star rating on it. You may want to re-arrange the pattern. There are few more present in the difficulty, look over for them. Will ask for some more opinions on this before changing, as with the current AR there's plenty of time to read the next note in each case and I don't think this should be too problematic
  4. I mean, other than those issues up there, looks fine for me. <3
[Hard]
  1. 00:22:496 (6,7,1) - The overlap with (4) is avoidable if these notes were at the bottom of 00:22:027 (5) - , the overlap may reduce the readability for few players and that will be bad. This would create a really sharp direction change or more awkward overlaps, which I feel are more problematic in this case. Continuing the circular flow feels natural here, so I'll keep this
  2. 00:23:433 (2,3) - Comparing the distances(not using the DS value) between these 2 notes and 00:23:902 (3,4) - these 2 notes, these notes definitely have way lesser DS than those 2, which is kinda messy. You could bring (3) down bit more to equate the distance between those 2 sets of notes for the sake of aesthetics. Fair enough, moved 00:23:902 (3) down and to the left slightly
  3. 01:10:308 (3,4,1) - Wo this caught me off-guard while I was testplaying o.o I don't really know how to explain this... But maybe you would want to play it safe and stack these notes, like you did for all others to not catch people off-guard. Just my opinion, not really a must to change it I guess. Decided to unstack in the kiai (and here, just before) to add a touch of difficulty and variety, to make this section distinct from the rest of the map. I'll see what others think before changing anything
  4. 01:31:871 (1) - Don't really get why a NC is placed here, it is not like there is any SV changes on this note, nor it is justifying any confusing patterns out of the blue... it should be removed to keep the consistency. Just felt like a large distance to cover considering the elevated DS and 1/1 timeline spacing but sure, consider it removed
  5. Well everything flows well IMO, good difficulty :D <3
[Cup]
  1. 00:20:152 (1) - I don't really get why this downbeat distance is the same as 00:17:340 (1) - when this downbeat isn't that strong compared to 00:17:340 (1) - . You could possibly lower the distances for these kind of downbeats to express the song better, maybe. It's still pretty prominent, but I did reduce these types of jumps a little
  2. 00:41:246 (3,4) - Pretty much a nitpicky point, the distance between these 2 notes could be lower as the instrument that these are emphasizing on aren't on the same strength like 00:35:621 (3,4) - . Nice touch, done
  3. 00:55:308 (3) - Don't really get why this note's distance is lower than 00:21:558 (3) - this when both of them are emphasizing on the same instrument and the strength. Fixed with the first point
  4. Well I've found nothing else, you know me when it comes to CtB modding.

Hii! M4M from my queue :3
I will try to do my best
Well, here goes nothing.

Easy:
  1. 00:03:277 (1) - Why don't you do the same like you did here: 00:08:902 (1,2,3) - ? Just shorten this slider: 00:03:277 (1) - until here: 00:03:746 - and add a note here: 00:04:215 (2) - . When I testplayed it, I just liked the flow better~
  2. 00:14:527 (1) - Mm, it's fine but imo this will be better. Just move that slider: 00:14:527 (1) - to X: 136 Y: 32 (More or less) and then just stack 00:15:933 (2) - 's head on 00:13:121 (2) - 's tail. Just feels neater, lol.
  3. 00:29:996 (2,2) - Don't really like that overlap there. Just move 00:32:340 (2) - to X: 268 Y: 188 and just to make a nice triangle, move 00:32:808 (3) - to X: 236 Y: 272. Just a suggestion though, but I just looks neater.
  4. 00:34:215 (1) - If you follow my suggestion above just stack 00:32:340 (2) - on that slider's head. (I'm sure you would have done it anyways)
  5. 00:35:621 (2) - I suggest you lenghten that slider a bit. End it here at: 00:36:558 - . It fits better with the music imo or it just can be me with my dumb old ears.
  6. 00:38:433 (2) - I don't really like where you placed that slider. Maybe just move it to X: 180 Y: 348. I checked and it isn't off the screen. Also, like I suggested above. Maybe end the slider here: 00:39:371 -
  7. 00:46:871 (2,2) - Maybe stack these two notes on each other?
  8. 01:06:090 - Feels kinda empty here. . . maybe add a note here instead?
  9. 01:20:621 (3,3) - These notes aren't stacked properly. Just move 01:20:621 (3) - a bit downwards.
  10. Seems like a nice diff :3 Good job JB!!!~

Normal:
  1. 00:00:465 (1,2,3) - Mm, the flow is fine but I think this flow will work better: Just delete this note: 00:00:465 (1) - and move this slider: 00:00:933 (2) - in his place and then delete this note: 00:01:402 (3) - and add a slider which begins here: 00:00:933 - and ends here: 00:01:402 - . If my english is very bad (lol) It must look like this: http://puu.sh/kzpmX/6a4a66e814.jpg
  2. 00:16:636 (4) - I found a rhythem that will fit better: Add a note here: 00:16:636 (4) - and add a slider here: 00:16:871 - which ends here: 00:17:105 - When I testplayed it, it just felt better.
  3. 00:36:324 - Okay, remove the reverse-slider and add a note here: 00:36:793 (6) - Again, fits better with the music.
  4. 00:53:199 (5) - Same here, like I mentioned above. Remove reverse-slider and add a note here: 00:53:668 (6) -
  5. 01:14:527 - Instead of just a note, maybe use a slider here instead. Just end it here: 01:14:761 -
  6. 01:22:730 (2) - Just for something else maybe Ctrl+H?
  7. 01:41:011 (4) - Move this slider to X: 376 Y: 168.?
  8. Very nice diff >w</ I could barely find anything!~

I will end my mod here~ Hope it was useful though!

Decided to do something slightly different and made a triangle with 00:13:121 (2,1,2)
  3. 00:29:996 (2,2) - Don't really like that overlap there. Just move 00:32:340 (2) - to X: 268 Y: 188 and just to make a nice triangle, move 00:32:808 (3) - to X: 236 Y: 272. Just a suggestion though, but I just looks neater. Not really noticeable during play, but fixed anyway
  4. 00:34:215 (1) - If you follow my suggestion above just stack 00:32:340 (2) - on that slider's head. (I'm sure you would have done it anyways) Actually decided to make another triabnle here with 00:32:340 (2,3,1) since the curve on (1) can blanket the circle (2) which is a nice effect I think
  5. 00:35:621 (2) - I suggest you lenghten that slider a bit. End it here at: 00:36:558 - . It fits better with the music imo or it just can be me with my dumb old ears. There's a synth "boop" sound (best description ever I know xD) on the red tick which is way more prominent than the guitar and drum sounds, which is why I only made it a 3/2 slider
  6. 00:38:433 (2) - I don't really like where you placed that slider. Maybe just move it to X: 180 Y: 348. I checked and it isn't off the screen. Also, like I suggested above. Maybe end the slider here: 00:39:371 - Did extend this slider since the syth was weaker here and made it symmetrical with the previous slider
  7. 00:46:871 (2,2) - Maybe stack these two notes on each other? Made another triangle instead, personal preference (:
  8. 01:06:090 - Feels kinda empty here. . . maybe add a note here instead? I like the pause effect as it gives more emphasis to the prominent note at 01:06:558 (2) but I'll consider changing this with future mods
  9. 01:20:621 (3,3) - These notes aren't stacked properly. Just move 01:20:621 (3) - a bit downwards. Good spot, fixed
  10. Seems like a nice diff :3 Good job JB!!!~ <3

Normal:
  1. 00:00:465 (1,2,3) - Mm, the flow is fine but I think this flow will work better: Just delete this note: 00:00:465 (1) - and move this slider: 00:00:933 (2) - in his place and then delete this note: 00:01:402 (3) - and add a slider which begins here: 00:00:933 - and ends here: 00:01:402 - . If my english is very bad (lol) It must look like this: http://puu.sh/kzpmX/6a4a66e814.jpg I actually think the current rhythm fits the music better since 00:00:933 (2) is a shorter guitar sound and so requires a shorter slider. The long sound is on the first circle (didn't use a slider for variety with the next combo
  2. 00:16:636 (4) - I found a rhythem that will fit better: Add a note here: 00:16:636 (4) - and add a slider here: 00:16:871 - which ends here: 00:17:105 - When I testplayed it, it just felt better. Done at 00:22:261 (4,5) and similar alternating combos, will keep this for the purpose of variety. The repeat sliders fir to the guitar well enough so I feel they're justified
  3. 00:36:324 - Okay, remove the reverse-slider and add a note here: 00:36:793 (6) - Again, fits better with the music. I could do this to map the synth "boop", but the current pattern fits the guitar nicely so I prefer to keep this
  4. 00:53:199 (5) - Same here, like I mentioned above. Remove reverse-slider and add a note here: 00:53:668 (6) - Back to my variety tricks again - as in the first "chorus", I'm alternating this pattern with the one you're describing, such as at 00:56:011 (4,5)
  5. 01:14:527 - Instead of just a note, maybe use a slider here instead. Just end it here: 01:14:761 - This flute sound is really prominent, I feel it really deserves to be clickable since the intensity is the same as the head of 01:14:996 (3)
  6. 01:22:730 (2) - Just for something else maybe Ctrl+H? Sure, also rotated about 30 degrees anticlockwise to maintain a nice flow into and out of the pattern
  7. 01:41:011 (4) - Move this slider to X: 376 Y: 168.? Why not, symmetry does look nicer here
  8. Very nice diff >w</ I could barely find anything!~ <3

Let me just double post with the continuation of my mod. No kds for this post.

[Salad]
  1. 00:13:824 (4,5,6) - You could have give a nice reducing-of-distance effect like in 00:25:074 (3,4,5) - , as the instrument(idk, ocarina?) is reducing in pitch.
  2. 00:21:558 (4) - Well, since the instrument is pretty strong here, and considering it is a 1/2 rhythm, you may want to increase the distance for just a bit like around, 1.5x? (Or 1.7x if it is possible) After all, you did make a big distance between notes on pitches like this.
  3. 01:12:183 (4) - I kinda expected a bigger dash here, as it is a downbeat having a guitar, and the notes before this were having bigger distance than this, it kinda misleads players (?) (maybe, I don't play CtB much)
  4. 01:38:668 - Just my personal taste, there is a nice drum snare to map on this point.
[Platter]
  1. 00:58:121 (1) - Being nitpicky again, the distance here is lower than 00:24:371 (1) - when both of them are emphasizing on the same instrument and strength. God I hate mentioning the same things for all difficulties ;-;
  2. 00:58:824 (2,3,4) - Don't really know why you can't give a reducing-of-distance effect on Platter when Salad could.
Well that is all from me, and have some stars :D

At a low AR such as this, the spacing reduction I'm prepared to follow doesn't really have much of an effect. Coupled with the dash to 00:14:527 (1) this pattern feels stuttered and kinda awkward to play,l so no change
  2. 00:21:558 (4) - Well, since the instrument is pretty strong here, and considering it is a 1/2 rhythm, you may want to increase the distance for just a bit like around, 1.5x? (Or 1.7x if it is possible) After all, you did make a big distance between notes on pitches like this. I used 1.7x on 00:55:074 (3,4) which is a similar sound, so I'll do the same thing here
  3. 01:12:183 (4) - I kinda expected a bigger dash here, as it is a downbeat having a guitar, and the notes before this were having bigger distance than this, it kinda misleads players (?) (maybe, I don't play CtB much) Increased a little
  4. 01:38:668 - Just my personal taste, there is a nice drum snare to map on this point. Oops I missed this, fixed
[Platter]
  1. 00:58:121 (1) - Being nitpicky again, the distance here is lower than 00:24:371 (1) - when both of them are emphasizing on the same instrument and strength. God I hate mentioning the same things for all difficulties ;-; And I hate making the same errors on all difficulties ;-; - fixed
  2. 00:58:824 (2,3,4) - Don't really know why you can't give a reducing-of-distance effect on Platter when Salad could. Done
Well that is all from me, and have some stars :D
GL! I'm still waiting for my heart
Thanks again for the mod!

SPOILER
14:31 Mythax: might need to nerf a little bit of that
14:31 Mythax: not sure, ive never seen a triple in a EZ befor xD
14:31 Mythax: and combining that with a LN not sure if thats too hard for an EZ
14:32 JBHyperion: the note at the end?
14:32 JBHyperion: or did I use it somewhere else as well
14:32 Mythax: i saw a few triples
14:32 Mythax: but i think only 1 or 2 with a LN involved
14:32 JBHyperion: k I'll nerf those
14:33 JBHyperion: might keep the one at the end for "finality"'s sake
14:33 JBHyperion: yeah
14:33 Mythax: one there
14:33 Mythax: i mean it feels perfectly fine
14:33 Mythax: but i dont know if it fits on an EZ
14:33 JBHyperion: sure
14:34 Mythax: that one to, with the 2 ln's and a note
14:34 JBHyperion: it's the finish notes between different sections that I use it
14:34 JBHyperion: so I know where to look
14:35 Mythax: ah, i mean it plays perfectly fine and i understand you using it
14:35 Mythax: just im not sure on how EZ's are mapped

14:41 Mekelemembe: oi oi oi
14:41 Mekelemembe: that plays well
14:41 Mekelemembe: and nice
14:41 JBHyperion: nice
14:41 Mekelemembe: good map for people that would be getting into taiko
14:41 JBHyperion: first muzu
14:41 JBHyperion: so yeah
14:41 Mekelemembe: I recommend
14:41 JBHyperion: I was expecting it to be bad xD
14:41 Mekelemembe: I will try with dt
14:41 Mekelemembe: well
14:41 JBHyperion: (^:
14:41 Mekelemembe: for muzu it's star rating is a bit low
14:41 JBHyperion: well
14:41 JBHyperion: it's a simple rhythm
14:42 Mekelemembe: I would try to make it at least 2.5 for muzu
14:42 JBHyperion: so I feel like I'm overmapping if I do much more
14:42 Mekelemembe: but I am not a mapper
14:42 Mekelemembe: nah nothing was overmapped
14:42 Mekelemembe: to be frank there were few places you could have added more for muzu difficulty
14:42 Mekelemembe: and it wouldn't be overmapped
14:42 JBHyperion: if I add any more notes it will be (^:
14:42 Mekelemembe: would just make it a bit more tricky
14:42 JBHyperion: kk
14:43 Mekelemembe: aye
14:44 Mekelemembe: good for poeple that will want to dt it
14:44 Mekelemembe: as well
14:44 Mekelemembe: let's try other 2
14:46 Mekelemembe: don't mind me tapping when there is nothing there
14:46 Mekelemembe: I often do that
14:46 Mekelemembe: and that one is nice as well
14:46 JBHyperion: (:
14:46 JBHyperion: it helps keep the rhythm
14:48 Mekelemembe: oi oi
14:48 Mekelemembe: that one will be a good challenge
14:48 Mekelemembe: it has tricky parts
14:48 Mekelemembe: for beginners
14:48 JBHyperion: think I might need a pause somewhere at the end
14:48 Mekelemembe: and you got rid of hit sounds
14:48 Mekelemembe: that people will go crazy about
14:48 JBHyperion: just like a 2/1 space
14:48 JBHyperion: oh?
14:48 Mekelemembe: looked fine to me
14:48 Mekelemembe: yeah
14:48 Mekelemembe: hit sounds disappear after like 1/4 into the song
14:49 Mekelemembe: not sure if intended or not
14:49 Mekelemembe: but either way this diff is also good
14:49 JBHyperion: maybe the samplesets messed up
14:49 JBHyperion: I will check that
14:49 JBHyperion: thanks
14:49 Mekelemembe: can't wait for oni/true oni /were oni diffs :^)
14:49 Mekelemembe: no problem
14:49 JBHyperion: haha
14:49 JBHyperion: maybe on the next map ;)
14:49 Mekelemembe: no idea how you could make those diffs on tha song tho xD
14:50 Mekelemembe: and no problem, if there is something you need checking at least on taiko I'm your man
14:50 JBHyperion: you can't on this song I don't think xD
14:50 Mekelemembe: on mania as well I guess
14:50 Mekelemembe: ctb and standard I can't play :(
14:50 JBHyperion: well there are mania diffs too if you want to try those :3
14:50 Mekelemembe: sure
14:50 JBHyperion: ayyy
14:53 Mekelemembe: oops
14:53 JBHyperion: haha
14:53 Mekelemembe: dat sneaky double on end
14:53 Mekelemembe: good on hidden
14:53 JBHyperion: yeah about those 3s
14:53 JBHyperion: do you think they're too much for an EZ?
14:53 Mekelemembe: hmmmmmmmmmm
14:53 Mekelemembe: yeah
14:53 Mekelemembe: well
14:53 Mekelemembe: try to decrease the amount
14:54 JBHyperion: ok good, Mythax said the same thing
14:54 Mekelemembe: I think it's good to introduce player to them
14:54 Mekelemembe: but not so many at the same time
14:54 JBHyperion: I will only keep the most prominent ones
14:54 Mekelemembe: that's my opinion
14:54 JBHyperion: sure
14:54 Mekelemembe: it's a slow song so it is easy
14:56 Mekelemembe: well
14:56 Mekelemembe: that will be hard
14:56 Mekelemembe: I found it tricky
14:56 Mekelemembe: with them long notes
14:56 JBHyperion: yeah I know people hate LN maps
14:56 Mekelemembe: haha
14:56 JBHyperion: but the song calls for a LN map
14:57 Mekelemembe: it's not bad
14:57 Mekelemembe: it's just tricky
14:57 JBHyperion: I could try and simplify a few though
14:57 Mekelemembe: like I thought there was a tap note but it was LN
14:57 Mekelemembe: so I just screwe up a lot
14:57 JBHyperion: there are a couple of 1/1 LNs that I will replace with cirlce
14:59 Mekelemembe: same as previously
14:59 Mekelemembe: I am just not used to LN songs
14:59 Mekelemembe: so I won't do good on them
14:59 JBHyperion: (:
14:59 Mekelemembe: and I won't say they are either good or bad
14:59 Mekelemembe: because I am in no position to do so xD
14:59 JBHyperion: that's fine
15:00 Mekelemembe: it's like I would say it's good but pro LN player would say it's bad if you know what I mean
15:00 JBHyperion: of course
15:00 JBHyperion: well thanks so much for your help
15:00 Mekelemembe: anything else?
15:01 Mekelemembe: no problemo

Thanks for the suggestions guys, made a few changes to the Taiko and Mania diffs (:
Tyrell
Mod for the Catch The Beat diffs.

Cup
Nothing to really point out. Everything seems pretty good to me.

Salad
00:39:136 (4) - would recommend Ctrl+g x:356 for a slightly better flow
00:49:683 (3) - i feel this could work better as just a horizontal slider because now it creates a weird flow you have to stop a bit after catching the beginning of the slider, this is a minor suggestion

Everything else seems pretty good. c:

Platter
Platter is good, but I feel it could use more dashing since this will be a white platter. Hypers don't really fit this map anyways.

Sorry but I couldn't find anything to really fix in these diffs. Good job and good luck with rank.

Salad
00:39:136 (4) - would recommend Ctrl+g x:356 for a slightly better flow This actually involves less antiflow then 00:35:621 (4,5) since the spacing is lower here. I think this should be fine
00:49:683 (3) - i feel this could work better as just a horizontal slider because now it creates a weird flow you have to stop a bit after catching the beginning of the slider, this is a minor suggestion Nice suggestion, done

Everything else seems pretty good. c: ayyy

Platter
Platter is good, but I feel it could use more dashing since this will be a white platter. Hypers don't really fit this map anyways. There are a couple of hypers in the kiai, but I agree, I added a few dashes in the choruses

Sorry but I couldn't find anything to really fix in these diffs. Good job and good luck with rank.
Thanks for taking a look!
Absolute Zero
Cup
00:15:933 (3) - Ctrl+G, the flow to the next note feels a little awkward for a cup.
00:34:215 (1) - Consider adding also finish here?
00:55:308 (3) - Slant this a little less, movement might be a little difficult?
01:35:386 (3) - Reflect across the y-axis for smoother flow? (x=0)

Salad
00:48:277 (1) - Move (1) to x=236 to make an easier clearer movement?
00:54:840 (2,3) - Reverse the positions of (2) and (3) so that the flow is smooth.
01:09:840 (3) - Make the timeline like this here instead:

and make (4) x=256?
01:30:465 (1) - maybe just make it straight up and down slider, easy to miss for droplets

Platter
00:22:965 (1) - Move to x=337 or slightly more to accentuate this (avoiding a HDash)
00:33:746 (5) - Move to x=416 for a dash. Consider adding a HDash to the next map?
00:52:496 (1) - No NC, the phrase continues?

Rain
01:08:371 - In rain. Move this 15 grids to the right. It seems more proper

Easy
00:22:965 (3) - (x=392, y=136) for this slider and curve it like below?

00:46:871 (2,1) - recurve the slider as below? (x=468, y=116)

01:05:152 (1) - No NC here?

Normal
00:36:324 (5) - Ctrl+G for a little more challenge?
01:06:558 (3,4,5) - Maybe replace with a 1/1 repeat slider, it fits the music better.

Hard
00:04:215 (3) - Ctrl+G, flows easier with the next combo (the direction change jump shouldn't be too bad)
01:10:308 (3,4,1) - The spacing between these could be a little larger for more movement in the kiai.
01:11:715 (2,3,1) - ^
01:17:340 (2,3,1) - ^
01:31:871 (2) - Ctrl+G for smoother flow?
Not enough hypers pls fix ;)

Cup
00:15:933 (3) - Ctrl+G, the flow to the next note feels a little awkward for a cup. Didn't want to kill the spacing for a prominent note here so I rearranged and made (3) a curved slider instead
00:34:215 (1) - Consider adding also finish here? Only guitar and a soft drum sound here, I feel it's better with whistle
00:55:308 (3) - Slant this a little less, movement might be a little difficult? Angled the same as 00:56:715 (1)
01:35:386 (3) - Reflect across the y-axis for smoother flow? (x=0) Due to the 3/2 spacing it's not possible to get the spacing I want on the left side, so it has to go here

Salad
00:48:277 (1) - Move (1) to x=236 to make an easier clearer movement? This feels fine to me, and the spacing is consistent with similar patterns and sounds
00:54:840 (2,3) - Reverse the positions of (2) and (3) so that the flow is smooth. This creates an antijump to the prominent note at 00:55:308 (4) which I don't feel fits at all. There aren't any large jumps here so I feel the flow is fine as it is currently
01:09:840 (3) - Make the timeline like this here instead:

and make (4) x=256? This removes the jump to 01:10:777 (1) so I decided to split into two 1/2 sliders instead
01:30:465 (1) - maybe just make it straight up and down slider, easy to miss for droplets Not really, there's only a small amount of curve so I don't see a problem here

Platter
00:22:965 (1) - Move to x=337 or slightly more to accentuate this (avoiding a HDash) I like the current spacing more to be honest
00:33:746 (5) - Move to x=416 for a dash. Consider adding a HDash to the next map? Only moved to x-388
00:52:496 (1) - No NC, the phrase continues? Note density dictates a 4 beat NC pattern is more appropriate here to avoid overstacking the plate, so I'll keep this

Rain
01:08:371 - In rain. Move this 15 grids to the right. It seems more proper
Please don't make this a meme. It's not funny ._.

Easy
00:22:965 (3) - (x=392, y=136) for this slider and curve it like below?
Doesn't look as pretty for me, I prefer a simpler arrangement here
00:46:871 (2,1) - recurve the slider as below? (x=468, y=116)
Again, I prefer the symmetry of the current pattern than trying to force half of a blanket
01:05:152 (1) - No NC here? Consistent with my other NCs, I see no reason to change the pattern here

Normal
00:36:324 (5) - Ctrl+G for a little more challenge? This is still quite an "easy" Normal, I don't want to go throwing jumps in, especially not on relatively weak beats like this
01:06:558 (3,4,5) - Maybe replace with a 1/1 repeat slider, it fits the music better. That worked before at 00:32:808 (3) since the pitch was decreasing, but here the pitch is noticeably higher at 01:07:027, indicating this really needs to be clickable

Hard
00:04:215 (3) - Ctrl+G, flows easier with the next combo (the direction change jump shouldn't be too bad) I completely disagree here, the current pattern flows much more smoothly - Ctrl+G'ing this note would lead to a 180 degree direction change coupled with a jump, which doesn't play well or fit the song
01:10:308 (3,4,1) - The spacing between these could be a little larger for more movement in the kiai. They're unstacked for that exact reason - to emphasise the kiai. I don't want to go overboard with the spacing here so I feel the current pattern is fine
01:11:715 (2,3,1) - ^ ^
01:17:340 (2,3,1) - ^ ^
01:31:871 (2) - Ctrl+G for smoother flow? Meh, due to the large timeline spacing I don't feel this make smuch difference, though it creates an antijump to 01:33:277 (1) that I don't like, so I'd prefer to keep the current pattern
Not enough hypers pls fix ;)

Change combo colors please

General

  1. I highly recommend adding silent slider slide for soft sampleset, they are quite disturbing when the flute hasn't kicked in yet.
  2. Quad mode ftw

Standard

Hard

  1. 01:10:308 (3,4,1) - and other similar patterns : Eh, this one is quite confusing since this could be easily mistaken as 1/4s at first. Also, the strong sound at 01:10:543 (4) - doesn't really justify this small of a spacing all of a sudden as well. Same with other similar patterns, the red tick notes that are placed at 0.5x have strong enough background sound to justify similar spacing as other notes :L

PS. I guess the triple 1/2 circles in a row like 01:22:730 (2,3,4) - can be kept as you don't really want to boost the star rating/actual difficulty too much. (I would still increase their spacing a bit to like 0.7x if you do change the other patterns)
Well that's the only huge thing that caught my eyes =w=

Normal

  1. 00:15:933 (3,4) - making these blanket would be actually kewl
  2. 00:19:449 (5) - Curve this like this for smoother transition =w=
  3. 00:49:683 (3) - I would angle this like this
  4. Well, other things you could try is to use more straight 1/1 sliders or different shapes as this is curve slider galore :X

Isolated sliders like these which doesn't blanket anything or doesn't really aesthetically complement nearby patterns as much can be converted into more interesting shapes without changing too much nearby arrangements
    01:13:590 (1) -
    00:45:465 (1) -

oh fml there is only two that can be easily changed D:
and I thought I was the only one who spams too many blankets :S

Easy

  1. 00:51:090 (1,2) - you know this kind of blanket would be kewl its not perfect i kno
asdfsad nothing else

Taiko

Muzukashii

  1. 00:10:543 (34) - Remove this as there isn't any sound here and it is awkward to have a single note of different color right after a finish
  2. 00:11:011 (35) - d
  3. 00:11:246 (36) - also remove this as there isn't any sound here as well =w=
  4. 00:44:293 (35,36,37) - Same as above for consistency (~ owo)~
  5. 01:10:777 - to 01:19:683 - the note density disparity compared to 01:19:683 - through 01:30:465 - is quite daunting, I recommend adding some more ds to some of those background bass drum sounds =w=
nothing else \owo/

Futsuu

  1. 00:34:215 - to 00:44:058 - this section is the LONGEST 1/1 only section in this difficulty and I think there definitely should be more 1/2 pattern variation you managed to put in so adequately through out other parts of the difficulty. (a.k.a please put in more 1/2s here and some longer pauses to compensate)

Kantan

Kantan is so Kantan

I dare not mod CtB diffs

Mania

Uh
Can you find me for IRC for mania, as I really need to know what was the design philosophy behind all these diffs to make it count :X

  2. 00:19:449 (5) - Curve this like this for smoother transition =w= Sure
  3. 00:49:683 (3) - I would angle this like this This actually makes the slider go offscreen, but I managed to move all of 00:49:215 (2,3,4,5) to the right a little to accommodate this suggestion
  4. Well, other things you could try is to use more straight 1/1 sliders or different shapes as this is curve slider galore :X "Make more straight sliders" - 2/3 of the suggestions were to curve sliders xD But in all seriousness, I will go through this and see if I can use more straight sliders for variety.

Isolated sliders like these which doesn't blanket anything or doesn't really aesthetically complement nearby patterns as much can be converted into more interesting shapes without changing too much nearby arrangements
    01:13:590 (1) -
    00:45:465 (1) -

oh fml there is only two that can be easily changed D: The way I'm mapping places emphasis on mid-slider beats with kinks and such, but there aren't any such sounds in the music that I can use on these sliders to warrant that without leaving them feeling inconsistent with my other patterns. It might be a little less interesting than some really funky slider shapes, but I personally prefer a simpler approach that reflects the calmness of the song, so I'll keep these
and I thought I was the only one who spams too many blankets :S When I made my first map, I couldn't blanket for trash and everyone who modded complained. Those comments stuck with me and now I am addicted to blanketing and beyond help (:

Easy

  1. 00:51:090 (1,2) - you know this kind of blanket would be kewl its not perfect i kno This is the effect I was going for, but you pulled it off much better xD Fixed to the best of my ability

Muzukashii

  1. 00:10:543 (34) - Remove this as there isn't any sound here and it is awkward to have a single note of different color right after a finish It's kind of an after-effect of the synth "boop", but I agree the justification for mapping it is kinda flimsy so removed
  2. 00:11:011 (35) - d okie
  3. 00:11:246 (36) - also remove this as there isn't any sound here as well =w= Removed
  4. 00:44:293 (35,36,37) - Same as above for consistency (~ owo)~ Done the same
  5. 01:10:777 - to 01:19:683 - the note density disparity compared to 01:19:683 - through 01:30:465 - is quite daunting, I recommend adding some more ds to some of those background bass drum sounds =w= Fair enough, added at 01:12:886 (7) - 01:14:293 (11) - 01:18:511 (25) so should be a better spread now
nothing else \owo/

Futsuu

  1. 00:34:215 - to 00:44:058 - this section is the LONGEST 1/1 only section in this difficulty and I think there definitely should be more 1/2 pattern variation you managed to put in so adequately through out other parts of the difficulty. (a.k.a please put in more 1/2s here and some longer pauses to compensate) Gotcha, consider it vary-ified

Mania

Uh
Can you find me for IRC for mania, as I really need to know what was the design philosophy behind all these diffs to make it count :X Will do, general philosophy is LNs for flute/guitar depending on which is strongest at the time (and both together in the harder diffs) and "circles" for the synth "boops", drum sounds, and in the harder diffs, some of the shorter guitar and flute sounds)
Thanks so much for the beast mod :D

The following is for the 4k maps:

EZ 4K
00:00:465 (465|2) - shorten this note to 00:01:168 - and add a not at the end of the long note
00:03:277 (3277|2) - same applies, shorten to 00:03:980 - and add note at the end
00:06:090 (6090|1) -shorten to 00:06:793 - and add note at the end
00:07:496 (7496|3) - shorten to 00:08:199 - and add note at the end
00:34:215 (34215|0) - shorten to 00:34:918 - and add note at the end
00:37:027 (37027|2) - shorten to 00:37:730 - and add note at the end
00:39:840 (39840|0) - shorten to 00:40:543 - and add note at the end
00:42:652 (42652|0) - shorten to 00:43:355 - and add note at the end
01:07:965 (67965|0) - shorten to 01:08:668 - and add note at the end
01:09:371 (69371|0) - shorten to 01:10:074 - and add note at the end
01:33:277 (93277|2) - 01:33:980 - ^^
01:38:902 (98902|1) - 01:39:605 - ^^
All of the above are the exact same corrections but if you hear closely the little flute/hoot (I dunno exact sound :D) sounds are where you are missing the notes
NM 4K
00:09:840 (9840|3) - extend LN (Long note) to 00:10:308 -
01:08:433 (68433|3) - change to single note

Other than that all good
HD 4K
01:17:808 (77808|0) - maybe extend LN to 01:19:215 - ?
Otherwise good :D

Overall I love the map however as the difficulties are 1.08 - 1.8 stars. All of those difficulties would be classed as easy and as the maps are pretty similar already I think it would be more beneficial to keep either the easy or normal and then make the hard, harder if you understand :D
So, basically I recommend having two mania maps unless you keep the EZ and HD but make a harder map (around 2.5*)

Anyway, good luck with the map its a pretty solid mapset and I'm looking forward to seeing it ranked, if you need any help making a harder difficulty or with any of the comment, just message me or pm in game

I want to keep these as longer LNs so the "tap" frequency is more beginner-friendly, so gonna keep these as 2/1 LNs - but decided to add some notes in other columns at the end of each instead to follow the short guitar/flute sounds where I felt it was appropriate

I get your point, but I feel like if I aim for a certain SR I'll just force the difficulty and end up overpatterning. There are plenty of instances in other modes where mapsets contain a number of "easy" difficulties, and whilst the spread for mania here is a little easier than the other modes in this set, I don't feel it's creating an issue of sorts. Of course this may change anyway with future mods, so I'll see how things go (:

00:33:746 (33746|2) - 01:07:496 (67496|1) - Kept these two, see below
01:30:465 (90465|2,90933|3,91402|2,91871|1,92340|2,92808|1) - why short LNs? Kept the two mentioned above and 01:30:465 (90465|2,91871|1) - because they're held guitar notes, but shorter relative to the others in the song and mapping single objects for them felt too plain for a HD. Other 1/2 LNs were weaker and so I felt they could be removed. Will change the remainder to something else if others complain
Thanks for the mod - though in future it would be helpful to explain why your suggestions are valid, rather than just stating them. Just saying "shorten this", "move this", etc. doesn't help the mapper understand why they should accept your suggestion, and they won't improve. You'll become a better modder as well, and people are more likely to listen to your suggestions rather than just feeling disheartened because you told them to change a bunch of stuff without telling them why ):

Hi,
I'm a begginer in modding so maybe my mod is not very helpful. But I've tried my best =)

Easy
1. 01:06:090 - Maybe add a circle here? You can hear a beat at this time. It sounds like something is missing.

2. 00:15:933 (2,1) - Maybe you can wrap the (2) more nicely around (1):
SPOILER
for example:

Normal
1. 00:02:574 (5) - maybe remove the arrow/repetition of this slider? I think it sounds a bit awkward. There is no beat or note at 00:03:043.

2. 00:05:386 (4) - ^same here

3. 00:08:199 (5) - ^same here

4. 00:36:324 (5) - ^same here

5. 00:39:136 (4) - ^same here

6.00:41:949 (4) - ^same here

7. 01:25:308 (2,3) - Maybe you could to add an arrow/repetition to the slider (2), delete repetition of the (3) and move (3) to 01:26:480. I think like this it fits a litte bit better to the changing note of the flute.
SPOILER
like this:

8. 01:35:386 (5) - same like 1.

Hard
1. 00:02:574 (5) - I think it's better if you use here a similiar pattern like 00:05:386 (5)

2. 00:32:808 (3,4) - Maybe delete (4) and add an arrow/repetition to (3). I think like this it underlines the changing note of the flute better.

3: 01:26:246 (1,2) - Maybe use the same pattern like 01:24:840 (1,2)

I hope I could help you. I very enjoy listen to this song :D

Easy
1. 01:06:090 - Maybe add a circle here? You can hear a beat at this time. It sounds like something is missing. True there is a sound here, but I want to leave a pause to add more emphasis to the really strong sound at 01:06:558 (2) - also, since this is an Easy, it's good to give newer players a little break every once in a while to avoid uncomfortably long sections of play

2. 00:15:933 (2,1) - Maybe you can wrap the (2) more nicely around (1):

for example:
I had done something similar to other sliders but I forgot to do this one - nice suggestion, fixed

1. 00:02:574 (5) - maybe remove the arrow/repetition of this slider? I think it sounds a bit awkward. There is no beat or note at 00:03:043. Since several people have suggested this now, I'll change it - fixed all below

2. 00:05:386 (4) - ^same here

like this:
01:26:246 is such a prominent note that it deserves to be clickable in my opinion, and the current repetition on 01:26:246 (3) matches the guitar really nicely as well

8. 01:35:386 (5) - same like 1. Fixed these as well

Hard
1. 00:02:574 (5) - I think it's better if you use here a similiar pattern like 00:05:386 (5) The guitar sound on 00:02:574 (5) is held for 1/2 lomger than the guitar sound at 00:05:386 (5) which is why I extended it to a 1/1 slider

2. 00:32:808 (3,4) - Maybe delete (4) and add an arrow/repetition to (3). I think like this it underlines the changing note of the flute better. 00:33:746 (4) is mapping the short 1/2 guitar sound, I feel it's prominent enough to be clickable

3: 01:26:246 (1,2) - Maybe use the same pattern like 01:24:840 (1,2) As above, this is following the guitar, which is a held 1/2 sound, but I removed the repeat to be consistent with suggestions in the Normal

I hope I could help you. I very enjoy listen to this song :D

no problems as expected from op mapper, though would probably suggest a slightly lower AR (2~2.3). It fits with the slowness and calmness imo.

[Normal]
00:18:746 (4) - maybe try a straighter (but still curved) slider? like this
00:35:621 (4) - would suggest rotating it to the left, to go better with the flow. image
(Rotating 00:36:324 (5) - is optional imo, still looks good if it's left untouched.)

[Hard]
suggesting CS4.5~4.8.
00:23:433 (2,3) - hitclaps at slider starts are missing
00:31:402 (1) - hitwhistle at start?
00:36:090 (5) - soft-hitfinish at second point
Actually, the whole part from 00:34:215 to 00:45:465 seems to have a different hitsounding scheme than Easy and Normal (as in the above case, finish-normal-normal-finish-normal is on the other diffs while 00:36:090 (5) - lacks the second hitfinish). Consider fixing.

I personally don't feel this would make that much difference, and I kinda want to keep the "symmetry" of the current spread - 2.5/4.5/6.5 - but will change if others suggest the same

00:18:746 (4) - maybe try a straighter (but still curved) slider? like this Reduced the curve, but not quite as much as you suggested as I want to keep a nice curved flow leading into the slider

(Rotating 00:36:324 (5) - is optional imo, still looks good if it's left untouched.) I'll keep this, it's a nice symmetry and is consistent with my other patterns such as 00:01:871 (4,5,1) and I feel the current flow is fine tbh

01:59 Riari: wy
01:59 JBHyperion: what's wrong with ti lol
02:00 Riari: whats it on
02:00 Riari: cant hear anything with my 5 pound argos headset
02:00 Riari: there is faint stuff on the white trick but the red is pretty empty tbh
02:00 JBHyperion: low pitch guitar sound
02:01 Riari: had to remove note and slow down to hear the white tick
02:02 Riari: 00:19:918 (28) - k?
02:02 JBHyperion: oyea

02:03 Riari: 00:20:621 (30) - k?
02:04 Riari: 00:39:605 (19) - remove?
02:04 JBHyperion: nah, pitch drops from 00:20:152 (29) - so it would sound weird
02:04 Riari: k
02:05 JBHyperion: yea, consistent with 00:04:683 (14,15,16,17,18,19) -
02:06 Riari: 00:44:996 - add k?
02:06 Riari: 00:46:168 (3) - Remove?
02:06 JBHyperion: I got told to remove the "after-effect" sounds before >.<
02:06 Riari: oh okay
02:07 Riari: i suggested because you've kinda done it with other areas
02:07 JBHyperion: and nah, consistent with 00:12:183 (2,3,4) -
02:07 Riari: idk the removal of 00:46:168 (3) - makes the k k k sound much better
02:07 Riari: it just feels off
02:08 JBHyperion: feels too plain for muzu imo though
02:08 JBHyperion: :/

02:17 JBHyperion: well gonna add a few, but keeping pauses before the 1/2 triples and big notes
02:17 Riari: I think the triplets are the biggest problem that should be worked if there is anything that needs removing
02:18 Riari: though i like it and think its fine
02:19 JBHyperion: I want to keep them to proved a nice diff step up to muzu
02:19 JBHyperion: I just want to give people enough time to prepare for them

Not like other game modes, in mania we DON'T put a note if there's no actual beat at the present. Ghost notes is unrankable issue too, so I suggest you to remove all of these notes. That's all I got, sorry I'm just lazy to mod map that needs a lots of works.
And I thought I could count on you for a quality mod since I fixed your CtB diffs lol

Thanks for the heads up, reviewed all the diffs and removed ghost notes - I'll try to get a few more mods before poking you again, though I don't know how much success I'll have since most modding queues only seem take m4m D:

Greetings there amigo!
Here for dat fat, juicy mod req you asked for (:
Just modding the ctb diffs but if later on you request the STD diffs i will join it onto this (or a new mod if this is old hue hue)

General
Indubitably! Nothing wrong (:

Cup
Can't see much wrong with this diff but going to try highlight some very little tweaking points.

01:09:840 (3) - Imo this looks better is the reverse was slanted all the way so it is fully horizontal. Seems a bit too cramped in play. (and possibly move a tiny bit further away from 01:09:371 (2) - )

00:00:465 (1) - Sorry to go back straight to the start but i think the same ^. But then again maybe you wanted this to slowly move to the start of the song but i would still suggest slanting a tiny bit to like x76 with the reverse end.

01:02:808 (2,3) - Mirror sliders ? Gave me an OCD in play XD

01:33:277 (1) - 3 reverses in a row is a bit too much imo. Consider just changing to a pattern you have done before for this one like this below. If you struggle for positioning for the next few notes i can help you there by having (2) at x:328. (3) at x:160. (4) at x:444. 01:36:089 (1) - at x:192 and finally (2) at x:288. and then the next (3) will just bit DS by like an inch.

01:40:308 (3) - I think this note can be spaced out a bit more from (2). if you move to x:216 it will make it nice and i know this don't matter so much but it fits nice with the spinner at the end in play.

Nothing else. Really nice cup and ready to go i think

Salad
00:07:496 (4) - Quite a cramped up reverse slider indubitably! I recommend move left a bit and bringing the reverse end down a bit so it's a little better flow

00:13:824 (4,5,6) - Not much of a problem but consider curving these notes (and throughout the song) to give a nice looking flowing curve instead of a straight line.

00:18:746 (3) - Cramped up again and makes the droplets drop straight down making the player just stand still. try move right a bit.

00:30:699 (4,5,1) - Looks a bit of a funny spaced out pattern in play. Just use the DS for these to make it look smoother.

00:32:808 (3) - This note has the music holding a note down. i suggest making it glide with the music and extending this slider and deleting (4)

00:35:621 (4) - Make more horizontal to look and flow nice

00:37:027 (1) - Same wall cramp issue as before

00:41:246 (4,5,6) - Found these a little complex imo and could be simplified with something like this

00:56:715 (1) - Flow killing by standing in one spot for a few seconds. You can move this right more and fix the straight up slider

01:16:402 (1) - ^

01:07:027 (4) - These are quite high sounding noises to have a slider and imo would be better if these were 2 circle notes instead

01:09:840 (3,4) - Be cramped together and could make it a bit more fun if these 2 were spaced out more as I mostly just stood there for these.

01:16:168 (4) - Add a note here for the sound ?

01:34:683 (4,5) - Bit of a weird flow here. Perhaps Ctrl + G (4) and move to x:356. and maybe slant more again

01:37:496 (3,4,5) - bit of an ugly reverse around catch imo and could do with having (4, 5) right of (3) instead to make it look smooth. or perhaps like this

(5 is behind 3)

01:40:308 (4,5,6) - Found these notes again but they work a bit better here for the outro. But just if you want to consider the pattern before like at 00:41:246 (4,5,6) -

Platter
00:00:465 (2,3) - I know the intro is meant to be easy but this is almost as easy as the salad and i think you should increase some distances by a tiny bit like here. I thnk (3) should be about x:240

00:02:574 (3) - Just a quick another example of before. Maybe this at x:200

00:17:340 (1,2,3,1) - Although i like the nice glide on this i still think the players should dash from some of these as it's way too easy. A good example is like what you have done here 00:19:918 (4,1) -

00:29:996 (2,3) - Would prefer if these 2 were mirrored like this instead to flow nice
http://puu.sh/kQ0kG/99669498bb.jpg

00:39:840 (2,3) - Move (3) to x:504 for a better jump (and then if you do this move (4) back a bit to look nicer if you wish though)

01:06:090 (2,3,4) - This is just a weird pattern and looks kinda ugly in play. Just DS (3) and (4) left of (2) on a perfect horizontal line.

01:24:605 (4,1) - Be nice if it was hypered here for the intensity of the music. If too difficult to hyper then at least a little bit of a bigger distance

01:26:246 (1) - Seems better at x:304 as it give a better flow dash from previous note

01:27:652 (1,2,3) - Too close to eachother. It's not even DS apart. I recommend having some nice bigger dashes here inbetween. At least fix the DS if not

01:29:058 (1,2,3) - ^

01:32:808 (4) - Move further left for better movement

01:36:558 (3) - Same as earlier. Just move left more to about x:320

01:39:371 (3) - ^ but not left

Welp hope this helped :D
You know where to find me if you feel sexually confused about any of this
Good luck :D

Just modding the ctb diffs but if later on you request the STD diffs i will join it onto this (or a new mod if this is old hue hue)

General
Indubitably! Nothing wrong (: You're obsessed.

Cup
Can't see much wrong with this diff but going to try highlight some very little tweaking points.

01:09:840 (3) - Imo this looks better is the reverse was slanted all the way so it is fully horizontal. Seems a bit too cramped in play. (and possibly move a tiny bit further away from 01:09:371 (2) - ) Made horizontal and moved to x-232

00:00:465 (1) - Sorry to go back straight to the start but i think the same ^. But then again maybe you wanted this to slowly move to the start of the song but i would still suggest slanting a tiny bit to like x76 with the reverse end. You're correct, but a teensy bit more movement wouldn't hurt I guess, so consider it done

01:02:808 (2,3) - Mirror sliders ? Gave me an OCD in play XD 01:03:746 (3) has a more prominent sound that suggests a little more movement in my opinion. Sorry but your OCD will have to suffer ):

01:33:277 (1) - 3 reverses in a row is a bit too much imo. Consider just changing to a pattern you have done before for this one like this below. If you struggle for positioning for the next few notes i can help you there by having (2) at x:328. (3) at x:160. (4) at x:444. 01:36:089 (1) - at x:192 and finally (2) at x:288. and then the next (3) will just bit DS by like an inch. Opted for circle + 1/2 slider instead, since 01:33:746 is quite a prominent sound which I'd rather not have as a slider end - positioning fixed in my own way

01:40:308 (3) - I think this note can be spaced out a bit more from (2). if you move to x:216 it will make it nice and i know this don't matter so much but it fits nice with the spinner at the end in play. Fixed differently due to the repositioning above, but same effect

Nothing else. Really nice cup and ready to go i think

Salad
00:07:496 (4) - Quite a cramped up reverse slider indubitably! I recommend move left a bit and bringing the reverse end down a bit so it's a little better flow Flattened the slider out, but didn't change the placement for consistency with similar patterns

00:13:824 (4,5,6) - Not much of a problem but consider curving these notes (and throughout the song) to give a nice looking flowing curve instead of a straight line. 00:13:824 (4,5,6,1) - If I curve these it will create an awkward stoppage in flow right before a dash to 00:14:527 (1) which creates a far bigger problem. These are fine as they are

00:18:746 (3) - Cramped up again and makes the droplets drop straight down making the player just stand still. try move right a bit. Curved 00:18:746 (3) a bit more instead, I don't want to change positioning for consistency with other patterns

00:30:699 (4,5,1) - Looks a bit of a funny spaced out pattern in play. Just use the DS for these to make it look smoother. Equalised spacing on 00:29:996 (3,4,5) but added a missing dash to 00:31:402 (1) instead

00:32:808 (3) - This note has the music holding a note down. i suggest making it glide with the music and extending this slider and deleting (4) (4) is mapping the distinct guitar note, no change

00:35:621 (4) - Make more horizontal to look and flow nice Done

00:37:027 (1) - Same wall cramp issue as before Curved more instead as before

00:41:246 (4,5,6) - Found these a little complex imo and could be simplified with something like this This doesn't even require dash, it's fine

00:56:715 (1) - Flow killing by standing in one spot for a few seconds. You can move this right more and fix the straight up slider Done, but made a curve instead

01:16:402 (1) - ^ Rearranged some stuff here

01:07:027 (4) - These are quite high sounding noises to have a slider and imo would be better if these were 2 circle notes instead Okay

01:09:840 (3,4) - Be cramped together and could make it a bit more fun if these 2 were spaced out more as I mostly just stood there for these. Made an outward V instead of an inward one

01:16:168 (4) - Add a note here for the sound ? I want to avoid huge 1/2 dashes to sounds like these, I feel this plays much better with a 1/1 spacing and omitting this faint sound

01:34:683 (4,5) - Bit of a weird flow here. Perhaps Ctrl + G (4) and move to x:356. and maybe slant more again I find the current pattern plays fine to be honest, there's no dash required here so the movements are smooth and easy to follow

01:37:496 (3,4,5) - bit of an ugly reverse around catch imo and could do with having (4, 5) right of (3) instead to make it look smooth. or perhaps like this Same as above really, I find this flow interesting and not ugly at all, it's hardly any different to if I had just added an extra repeat onto (3) lol

(5 is behind 3)

01:40:308 (4,5,6) - Found these notes again but they work a bit better here for the outro. But just if you want to consider the pattern before like at 00:41:246 (4,5,6) - No change there, no change here - I don't see anything wrong with this

Platter
00:00:465 (2,3) - I know the intro is meant to be easy but this is almost as easy as the salad and i think you should increase some distances by a tiny bit like here. I thnk (3) should be about x:240 Buffed a bit, but only x-224

00:02:574 (3) - Just a quick another example of before. Maybe this at x:200 x-216, and made similar distances throughout the intro for consistency

00:17:340 (1,2,3,1) - Although i like the nice glide on this i still think the players should dash from some of these as it's way too easy. A good example is like what you have done here 00:19:918 (4,1) - But that's because 00:20:152 (1) is a far more prominent note - I'm trying to be consistent with dash, and I don't feel these sounds require it

00:29:996 (2,3) - Would prefer if these 2 were mirrored like this instead to flow nice I prefer the current flow
http://puu.sh/kQ0kG/99669498bb.jpg

00:39:840 (2,3) - Move (3) to x:504 for a better jump (and then if you do this move (4) back a bit to look nicer if you wish though) x-496, (4) at x-296

01:06:090 (2,3,4) - This is just a weird pattern and looks kinda ugly in play. Just DS (3) and (4) left of (2) on a perfect horizontal line. Did something different here as I want to keep the jump to 01:06:558 (4) only, stop-flow has been removed though

01:24:605 (4,1) - Be nice if it was hypered here for the intensity of the music. If too difficult to hyper then at least a little bit of a bigger distance Increased distance slightly but I'm only hypering to the strong drum finishers once a stanza so it would feel inconsistent to put one here

01:26:246 (1) - Seems better at x:304 as it give a better flow dash from previous note x-288 for consistency (I changed some of the previous patterns), I don't want this to be too strong

01:27:652 (1,2,3) - Too close to eachother. It's not even DS apart. I recommend having some nice bigger dashes here inbetween. At least fix the DS if not Fixed similar to the intro

01:29:058 (1,2,3) - ^ ^

01:32:808 (4) - Move further left for better movement Pitch on the guitar is lowering here, I want this to be a relatively small spacing

01:36:558 (3) - Same as earlier. Just move left more to about x:320 x-368 since I changed some other positions as well

01:39:371 (3) - ^ but not left Done

Welp hope this helped :D
You know where to find me if you feel sexually confused about any of this You're weird o-o
Good luck :D
Thanks for the mod!

Beautiful song
MBomb
hi 3 mode mod coming up, don't expect anything big from taiko or mania though

Kantan
00:04:683 (4) - d, This is a lower pitch note than 2, so i think it works better.
00:10:308 (8) - ^
00:13:121 (2) - k, this note is very high pitched, I think it would work nicely.
00:14:058 (3) - At the same time, this one is quite low, so maybe have this as a d instead.
00:21:558 (11) - k would work nicely here.
00:22:496 (12) - I don't really see why this is here... remove it please.
00:22:965 (13) - k for the high pitch?
00:31:402 (20) - k, this is higher pitch.
00:36:558 (3) - I think it'd be better to remove this, this sound isn't as strong.
00:42:183 (8) - ^
00:46:871 (2) - k
00:52:965 (8) - This sound isn't very strong, but if you do keep it, I think d is better.
00:54:371 (10) - d works better here too, same pitch as 9.
00:55:308 (11) - I would actually try a K here, this is a very strong high pitched note.
00:56:246 (12) - I don't really understand why this is here, remove this please.
00:56:715 (13) - I think K here would be nice for the pitch on it.
01:01:871 (18) - I can't hear what this is mapped to, there is no strong sound here...
01:21:090 (11) - Maybe try k here, it is the same pitch as 10 so it makes more sense.
01:37:496 (4) - d here would be better, not really hearing a high pitched sound here.

Futsuu
00:00:933 (2) - This should be d, there is no difference between this and 1 and 3 which is noticible enough to change.
00:07:965 (18,19) - Ctrl+g please, kd fits better than dk because 18 is a higher pitch, and more similar to 16.
00:10:308 (23) - Try D instead, this guitar note isn't very emphasised imo.
00:12:183 (2) - k, the pitch here goes up quite a bit.
00:14:527 (8) - d works better, this is a really similar pitch to 7.
00:14:996 (9) - I prefer k here, the flute is quite high.
00:18:277 (16) - d here, I think this sounds better with the song.
00:25:074 (31) - I like this as a k, as it is a similar pitch to 32.
00:26:246 (35) - d works better here imo.
00:30:933 (45) - d, this is similar to 44 and 46.
00:34:683 (2) - d, not much change between this and 1.
00:46:402 (3) - d here, pitch doesn't get much higher until 4.
00:47:574 (5,6) - Ctrl+g, 5 sounds higher than 6 to me, so dk makes more sense.
00:48:277 (8) - I prefer this as d, it's actually lower pitch than 7.
01:02:105 - Why not a d here, as you have been doing previously?
01:08:433 (2) - d, I don't think the pitch change here is enough to suggest a k.
01:11:715 (3) - d sounds better with the drum here, the flute is quite low pitch.
01:13:590 (8) - The pitch actually gets lower here, so try d instead.
01:20:621 (22) - d instead, this pitch is quite consistent, and even the flute that plays here is lower pitch.
01:22:027 (25) - K here, the pitch from 24 to 25 is very little.
01:22:965 (26,27) - Ctrl+g, dk works better because pitch is going up here, not down.
01:29:058 (39) - I think a k here will fit quite nicely because whilst pitch goes down, it isn't by much.
01:30:465 (42) - d fits the song better to me here.
01:36:089 (7,8) - ctrl+g, 7 is lower pitch than 8, so I think dk is better for this pitch change.
01:37:495 (10) - k, pitch is quite consistent from 9.

Muzukashii
00:07:965 (25) - k this, it's higher pitch and actually very similar to 26.
00:11:011 (34) - Make this a k, to keep in consistent with the futsuu.
00:13:121 (5) - k, this is a lot higher pitched.
00:14:059 (8) - I think at this stage you can keep a k, the pitch hasn't gone down too much yet.
00:14:527 (10) - Make this D, this is a lower pitch than even 9.
00:15:230 (12) - d, this is no different to the other notes in the triple.
00:18:277 (22) - Not much pitch change between this and 21, keep it as a d.
00:20:621 (30) - k, the higher pitch flute stays on this note, as well as a high pitch guitar compared to most of the guitar in the song.
00:21:324 - I understand if not as this is already quite a long 1/2 chain, but I think a k would work very nicely here for the flute.
00:21:558 (32,33) - Ctrl+G, very strong flute on 32, and then 33 is quite low pitched in general.
00:24:371 (42) - d, the flute gets lower here, so this would be a nice effect.
00:24:840 (43,44) - Ctrl+g, 43 has no reason to be k, there isn't a high pitched note here, but 44 is a higher pitch on the flute so k works nicely.
00:26:246 (48) - d, barely any change between this and 47.
00:28:590 (56) - D, this note is low pitched in comparison to where you've used ks in the other parts of the song, and the flute is even low here.
00:29:761 (59) - d, I can't see any reason why this should be k.
00:31:871 (66) - k, there is little change between this and 65.
00:33:277 (70) - Try a k here, the pitch change down to 71 seems weird without a change, whereas 69 to this seems fine.
00:40:777 (22) - d, there isn't really a high pitched note here to suggest a k.
00:41:715 (25,26) - Ctrl+g, not only is 25 higher pitched, but 25 is also a similar sound to 23, which is a k, and 26 is similar to 24, which is a d.
00:42:652 (28) - Maybe d or even D here would work better, this is quite a strong note, but also quite low pitched.
00:44:761 (34) - k for consistency with the futsuu.
00:45:933 (2) - I don't think the flute at this part is high enough to suggest a k, so just put d.
00:47:574 (7) - k, this is a very similar sound to 6, I don't see the reason for the change here.
00:48:277 (10) - D, this note isn't very high pitched, even for the flute.
00:49:683 (13) - d here, the pitch goes down enough to suggest a change to d in my opinion.
00:52:027 (21) - Try a d here, the change to 22 feels strange already, but also this note is similar to 20.
00:53:668 (27) - I like this as a k, because the flute pitch goes higher from 26.
00:55:777 (33,34) - Ctrl+g, 34 is higher than 33, and it's more consistent with previous patterns.
00:56:246 (35,36) - dd instead, also more consistent with previous patterns and the drums here suggest just a dd to me.
00:56:715 (37) - Try a K instead, this flute goes up in pitch and so it'd be nice to have that.
00:57:652 (39) - d, the flute goes down in pitch slightly from 38.
00:58:121 (40) - k, higher pitch flute than earlier calls for a k better than a d here in my opinion.
00:58:824 (42,43,44) - kdd sounds better than dkk to me, the 42 is actually a higher pitch, and then the 43 and 44 are just normal drums which have been mapped as d in the futsuu and in some places similar to this here.
00:59:996 (46) - d here, the pitch doesn't change much from 45, and the pitch to 47 could be better emphasised with a d to k.
01:03:746 (57) - D, this note is relatively low pitch, even for the flute, so this could work nicely.
01:04:683 (60) - d, I don't think the drum here is enough to suggest using a k here instead.
01:07:496 (68) - k, whilst I understand why this is a d, I think this is still quite high pitched, even if not as much so as 67.
01:08:668 (3) - d, I don't really understand why a k was used here.
01:09:371 (5) - ^
01:10:543 (9,1) - dK instead of kD maybe? 9 is a lower pitch than 1, and I also like the emphasis currently put on 1. Also 9 has little change from 8.
01:11:715 (3) - Maybe have this as d, isn't much change from this and 2/4.
01:13:121 (8) - d, for the pitch of the flute going down here.
01:13:590 (9) - D, this drum beat just feels better like this for me.
01:16:168 (18) - d, this flute is quite low pitched so it feels nice like this.
01:18:277 (24) - k, the flute pitch here doesn't change much from 23, and it feels nice to have a kdd triple here.
01:19:215 (27) - D, this note is relatively low pitched.
01:22:027 (36) - K, the pitch goes up here, not down.
01:25:777 (49) - d sounds better to me.
01:27:886 (56,57) - Ctrl+g, the pitch goes up from 56 to 57, not down.
01:30:465 (63) - D, this is quite low pitched and a k sounds weird.
01:30:933 (64) - k to emphasise the pitch of the guitar going up here.
01:36:558 (11) - d sounds better to me.

Ctb time.

Cup
00:02:574 (3) - x:104, I don't think this is strong enough to suggest much stronger movement here.
00:08:902 (1,2) - x:404 maybe, decreasing this distance a tiny bit would be nice as whilst 1 is strong, it's not that strong.
00:22:965 (1) - x:200, slightly increased distance on this would be nice for the very strong note here.
00:44:058 (3) - x:400, this feels a tad bit strong as it is now.
00:48:277 (1) - Maybe x:180, increased distance would be nice for the downbeat here.
00:51:090 (1) - ^, as well as the continous movement to the left feels nicer with increased distance here.
01:10:777 (1) - x:460, this just feels too strong to me as it is now.
01:22:027 (1) - Maybe slightly increased distance here, such as x:316?

Salad
00:04:215 (2) - x:220, I'd prefer to keep stuff like this outside of the intro, it can be seen as borderline to newer players.
00:11:011 (4) - I think a jump to 1 would be nice, and this is also quite small distance, so maybe move this to x:420?
00:21:558 (4) - A dash would be nice, for the high pitched flute. Maybe ctrl+h and move it to x:120?
00:37:027 (1) - x:416, I'd prefer to keep dashes out of sections like this.
01:07:496 (5) - x:176, this can be kinda awkward to catch, and a dash doesn't fit very well in my opinion.

Nice salad.

Platter
CS5? What are you, me?

00:10:250 (1,2) - Maybe x:192, a bit more distance feels good here.
00:21:558 (1) - x:220, for the dash on the high flute.
00:32:808 (4) - On this CS, I would highly recommend having the slider tilt to the right slightly first, as to make the droplets not so annoying to catch for a platter player.
00:44:000 (1,2) - x:176 would make for a nice dash here.
00:55:308 (1) - x:264, to emphasis the dash better.
00:59:527 (1) - x:192, it may be weaker, but a dash still fits nicely here.
01:20:621 (3) - x:388, considering the speed at which you're moving between 2 and this, it's a bit difficult for a platter player on CS5, reducing the distance a bit feels better to me.

Mania time.

EZ
00:00:465 (465|3,465|2) - I think actually it would work better as just 3 normal notes, 1 on each 1/1, going bars 3,4,2.(idk mania terms sorry)
00:01:871 (1871|1) - Get rid of this LN, it seems kinda pointless imo.
00:03:277 (3277|2) - I think instead of having this LN here, you should just put a note in the third bar in the middle 1/1.
00:04:683 (4683|1,4683|0,5386|1) - Maybe change this so there's a note on ever 1/2, going 3,2,1,2, to fit the pitch.
00:06:090 (6090|1,6090|0) - 1/1 notes instead, 1,3,3.
00:07:496 (7496|1,7496|3) - I think a better idea to follow the pitch would be single notes, 1/1 where both notes currently are as 4, next 1/1 as 3, and then the 1/2 after that as 4.
00:08:902 (8902|0) - Instead of this LN, just have a note on the 2nd 1/1 in the first bar.
00:10:308 (10308|3,10308|2) - Delete the 4th bar LN and just keep the 3rd, but shorten it down to 3/2, as there is a sound to indicate the end there.
00:11:715 (11715|1) - Instead of this LN, just have a note on the 1/1 where this ends in the 2nd bar.
00:14:527 (14527|2) - ^, but on the 3rd bar.
00:17:340 (17340|0) - ^, 1st bar.
00:19:683 (19683|3) - I'd put this note in the 2nd bar instead, I feel it fits the pitch better.
00:20:152 (20152|0) - Inverse to the previous, I'd actually put this in the fourth bar, as the note is pretty high here.
00:20:152 (20152|2) - Instead of this LN, just have a note on the 1/1 where this ends in the 3rd bar.
00:22:965 (22965|2) - ^
00:25:777 (25777|3,25777|1) - I'd put the single note on 2nd bar, and then do ^ with the LN.
00:31:402 (31402|2) - I'd just put a circle on 2 instead of having an LN here.
00:32:808 (32808|3) - I'd just remove this, I don't really understand why this LN is here.
00:44:058 (44058|1) - Remove this LN, just feels out of place to me.

Sorry, I can't carry on modding the mania diffs, our mapping styles are too different and it'll just end up like an essay. Done for now though ;)

Kantan
00:04:683 (4) - d, This is a lower pitch note than 2, so i think it works better. Sure, adds a bit of variety anyway
00:10:308 (8) - ^ Prefer the change in colour from 00:08:902 (7) on the big note here
00:13:121 (2) - k, this note is very high pitched, I think it would work nicely. Yup
00:14:058 (3) - At the same time, this one is quite low, so maybe have this as a d instead. This note is definitely higher pitch than 00:14:527 (4) though, so I'll keep this
00:21:558 (11) - k would work nicely here. Yup
00:22:496 (12) - I don't really see why this is here... remove it please. Snare drum sound m8, made a d though (^:
00:22:965 (13) - k for the high pitch? Yep
00:31:402 (20) - k, this is higher pitch. Swapped 00:31:402 (20,21)
00:36:558 (3) - I think it'd be better to remove this, this sound isn't as strong. Trying to make the 3/1 patterns a little more interesting, I'll keep this for now
00:42:183 (8) - ^ Same as above
00:46:871 (2) - k Yup
00:52:965 (8) - This sound isn't very strong, but if you do keep it, I think d is better. Changed
00:54:371 (10) - d works better here too, same pitch as 9. Actually I feel 00:53:902 (9) is higher pitched so swapped these
00:55:308 (11) - I would actually try a K here, this is a very strong high pitched note. Seems fair
00:56:246 (12) - I don't really understand why this is here, remove this please. There's a guitar sound, but fine
00:56:715 (13) - I think K here would be nice for the pitch on it. Oki
01:01:871 (18) - I can't hear what this is mapped to, there is no strong sound here... Killed it
01:21:090 (11) - Maybe try k here, it is the same pitch as 10 so it makes more sense. Yeah
01:37:496 (4) - d here would be better, not really hearing a high pitched sound here. Ok

Futsuu
00:00:933 (2) - This should be d, there is no difference between this and 1 and 3 which is noticible enough to change. (2) is a noticeably higher pitched sound though :/
00:07:965 (18,19) - Ctrl+g please, kd fits better than dk because 18 is a higher pitch, and more similar to 16. Agreed
00:10:308 (23) - Try D instead, this guitar note isn't very emphasised imo. Fair enough
00:12:183 (2) - k, the pitch here goes up quite a bit. Pitch increase is steady and even between 00:11:715 (1,2,3,4) so first 2 are d, second 2 k
00:14:527 (8) - d works better, this is a really similar pitch to 7. Okay
00:14:996 (9) - I prefer k here, the flute is quite high. Wut, flute sound is low pitch here o-o
00:18:277 (16) - d here, I think this sounds better with the song. I prefer the current pattern
00:25:074 (31) - I like this as a k, as it is a similar pitch to 32. Yes
00:26:246 (35) - d works better here imo. I disagree, 00:26:246 (35,36) are a similar pitch
00:30:933 (45) - d, this is similar to 44 and 46. Enough change to warrant a change imo
00:34:683 (2) - d, not much change between this and 1. There is a high pitched sound here
00:46:402 (3) - d here, pitch doesn't get much higher until 4. Same comment as before, I feel 2 of each is the best pattern to use here
00:47:574 (5,6) - Ctrl+g, 5 sounds higher than 6 to me, so dk makes more sense. Okay
00:48:277 (8) - I prefer this as d, it's actually lower pitch than 7. Yes
01:02:105 - Why not a d here, as you have been doing previously? Because there isn't actually a drum beat here, unlike in the other patterns like this one lol
01:08:433 (2) - d, I don't think the pitch change here is enough to suggest a k. I do xD
01:11:715 (3) - d sounds better with the drum here, the flute is quite low pitch. Difference is great enough to warrant the switch imo
01:13:590 (8) - The pitch actually gets lower here, so try d instead. Swapped with 01:12:652 (6)
01:20:621 (22) - d instead, this pitch is quite consistent, and even the flute that plays here is lower pitch. Yep
01:22:027 (25) - K here, the pitch from 24 to 25 is very little. Done
01:22:965 (26,27) - Ctrl+g, dk works better because pitch is going up here, not down. True
01:29:058 (39) - I think a k here will fit quite nicely because whilst pitch goes down, it isn't by much. Done to be consistent with surrounding patterns
01:30:465 (42) - d fits the song better to me here. Swapped 01:30:465 (42,43)
01:36:089 (7,8) - ctrl+g, 7 is lower pitch than 8, so I think dk is better for this pitch change. Current pattrn highlights the change between 01:36:558 (8,9) much better to me, which I feel is more important
01:37:495 (10) - k, pitch is quite consistent from 9. Nah, sounds lower to me

Muzukashii
00:07:965 (25) - k this, it's higher pitch and actually very similar to 26. Yes
00:11:011 (34) - Make this a k, to keep in consistent with the futsuu. Can do
00:13:121 (5) - k, this is a lot higher pitched. Derp
00:14:059 (8) - I think at this stage you can keep a k, the pitch hasn't gone down too much yet. Sure
00:14:527 (10) - Make this D, this is a lower pitch than even 9. Naturally
00:15:230 (12) - d, this is no different to the other notes in the triple. Swapped 00:15:230 (12,13) due to higher pitch on (13) imo
00:18:277 (22) - Not much pitch change between this and 21, keep it as a d. Yes
00:20:621 (30) - k, the higher pitch flute stays on this note, as well as a high pitch guitar compared to most of the guitar in the song. Fair enough
00:21:324 - I understand if not as this is already quite a long 1/2 chain, but I think a k would work very nicely here for the flute. We'll give it a go
00:21:558 (32,33) - Ctrl+G, very strong flute on 32, and then 33 is quite low pitched in general. What was I even doing here
00:24:371 (42) - d, the flute gets lower here, so this would be a nice effect. Swapped 00:24:136 (42,43)
00:24:840 (43,44) - Ctrl+g, 43 has no reason to be k, there isn't a high pitched note here, but 44 is a higher pitch on the flute so k works nicely. Fine
00:26:246 (48) - d, barely any change between this and 47. Yep
00:28:590 (56) - D, this note is low pitched in comparison to where you've used ks in the other parts of the song, and the flute is even low here. Sure
00:29:761 (59) - d, I can't see any reason why this should be k. Emphasises the pitch change between 00:29:761 (60,61) better
00:31:871 (66) - k, there is little change between this and 65. Enough of a change for me
00:33:277 (70) - Try a k here, the pitch change down to 71 seems weird without a change, whereas 69 to this seems fine. Fair enough
00:40:777 (22) - d, there isn't really a high pitched note here to suggest a k. Guitar sound is high pitch
00:41:715 (25,26) - Ctrl+g, not only is 25 higher pitched, but 25 is also a similar sound to 23, which is a k, and 26 is similar to 24, which is a d. Changed the colour of 00:41:715 (25,26,27)
00:42:652 (28) - Maybe d or even D here would work better, this is quite a strong note, but also quite low pitched. Changed to d, but doesn't seem prominent enough for D imo
00:44:761 (34) - k for consistency with the futsuu. asdf this was supposed to be a k orz
00:45:933 (2) - I don't think the flute at this part is high enough to suggest a k, so just put d. I disagree
00:47:574 (7) - k, this is a very similar sound to 6, I don't see the reason for the change here. Swapped 00:47:574 (7,8)
00:48:277 (10) - D, this note isn't very high pitched, even for the flute. Okay
00:49:683 (13) - d here, the pitch goes down enough to suggest a change to d in my opinion. Sure
00:52:027 (21) - Try a d here, the change to 22 feels strange already, but also this note is similar to 20. Agreed
00:53:668 (27) - I like this as a k, because the flute pitch goes higher from 26. Fair nuff
00:55:777 (33,34) - Ctrl+g, 34 is higher than 33, and it's more consistent with previous patterns. Okay
00:56:246 (35,36) - dd instead, also more consistent with previous patterns and the drums here suggest just a dd to me. Done with the above
00:56:715 (37) - Try a K instead, this flute goes up in pitch and so it'd be nice to have that. ^
00:57:652 (39) - d, the flute goes down in pitch slightly from 38. Nah, pitch definitely goes up here
00:58:121 (40) - k, higher pitch flute than earlier calls for a k better than a d here in my opinion. d to hilight the drop in pitch from 00:57:652 (39)
00:58:824 (42,43,44) - kdd sounds better than dkk to me, the 42 is actually a higher pitch, and then the 43 and 44 are just normal drums which have been mapped as d in the futsuu and in some places similar to this here. Agreed
00:59:996 (46) - d here, the pitch doesn't change much from 45, and the pitch to 47 could be better emphasised with a d to k. Same
01:03:746 (57) - D, this note is relatively low pitch, even for the flute, so this could work nicely. Nice
01:04:683 (60) - d, I don't think the drum here is enough to suggest using a k here instead. I do
01:07:496 (68) - k, whilst I understand why this is a d, I think this is still quite high pitched, even if not as much so as 67. Fair enough
01:08:668 (3) - d, I don't really understand why a k was used here. Highlights reduction in pitch between 01:08:668 (3,4)
01:09:371 (5) - ^ Did change this one though
01:10:543 (9,1) - dK instead of kD maybe? 9 is a lower pitch than 1, and I also like the emphasis currently put on 1. Also 9 has little change from 8. Me too
01:11:715 (3) - Maybe have this as d, isn't much change from this and 2/4. Pitch change here is enough for me
01:13:121 (8) - d, for the pitch of the flute going down here. Done
01:13:590 (9) - D, this drum beat just feels better like this for me. Done
01:16:168 (18) - d, this flute is quite low pitched so it feels nice like this. Definite increase in flute pitch here
01:18:277 (24) - k, the flute pitch here doesn't change much from 23, and it feels nice to have a kdd triple here. I actually prefer kkd
01:19:215 (27) - D, this note is relatively low pitched. Okay
01:22:027 (36) - K, the pitch goes up here, not down. Yes
01:25:777 (49) - d sounds better to me. I agree
01:27:886 (56,57) - Ctrl+g, the pitch goes up from 56 to 57, not down. Yes
01:30:465 (63) - D, this is quite low pitched and a k sounds weird. It really did
01:30:933 (64) - k to emphasise the pitch of the guitar going up here. Yeah
01:36:558 (11) - d sounds better to me. I agree

Ctb time.

Cup
00:02:574 (3) - x:104, I don't think this is strong enough to suggest much stronger movement here. 00:01:871 (2,3) are the same so they have the same spacing
00:08:902 (1,2) - x:404 maybe, decreasing this distance a tiny bit would be nice as whilst 1 is strong, it's not that strong. Fair enough
00:22:965 (1) - x:200, slightly increased distance on this would be nice for the very strong note here. Ok
00:44:058 (3) - x:400, this feels a tad bit strong as it is now. Fine
00:48:277 (1) - Maybe x:180, increased distance would be nice for the downbeat here. I agree
00:51:090 (1) - ^, as well as the continous movement to the left feels nicer with increased distance here. Ok
01:10:777 (1) - x:460, this just feels too strong to me as it is now. Yeah this was a bit excessive
01:22:027 (1) - Maybe slightly increased distance here, such as x:316? x-320 for consistency with 01:10:777 (1)

Salad
00:04:215 (2) - x:220, I'd prefer to keep stuff like this outside of the intro, it can be seen as borderline to newer players. Spoilsport :P
00:11:011 (4) - I think a jump to 1 would be nice, and this is also quite small distance, so maybe move this to x:420? Blazed it
00:21:558 (4) - A dash would be nice, for the high pitched flute. Maybe ctrl+h and move it to x:120? x-148, felt too excessive otherwise
00:37:027 (1) - x:416, I'd prefer to keep dashes out of sections like this. Any reason why? I like it, it keeps the calm section at least somewhat interesting
01:07:496 (5) - x:176, this can be kinda awkward to catch, and a dash doesn't fit very well in my opinion. Agreed

Nice salad. <3

Platter
CS5? What are you, me? Eat the meta :V

00:10:250 (1,2) - Maybe x:192, a bit more distance feels good here. Groovy
00:21:558 (1) - x:220, for the dash on the high flute. Kk
00:32:808 (4) - On this CS, I would highly recommend having the slider tilt to the right slightly first, as to make the droplets not so annoying to catch for a platter player. Fair enough
00:44:000 (1,2) - x:176 would make for a nice dash here. x-136 makes it consistent with the previous iteration at 00:10:250 (1,2)
00:55:308 (1) - x:264, to emphasis the dash better. Nice
00:59:527 (1) - x:192, it may be weaker, but a dash still fits nicely here. Cool
01:20:621 (3) - x:388, considering the speed at which you're moving between 2 and this, it's a bit difficult for a platter player on CS5, reducing the distance a bit feels better to me. Gonna try x-416

Mania time.

Decided to keep both, but did shorten to 3/2
00:11:715 (11715|1) - Instead of this LN, just have a note on the 1/1 where this ends in the 2nd bar.
00:14:527 (14527|2) - ^, but on the 3rd bar.
00:17:340 (17340|0) - ^, 1st bar.
00:19:683 (19683|3) - I'd put this note in the 2nd bar instead, I feel it fits the pitch better. I agree
00:20:152 (20152|0) - Inverse to the previous, I'd actually put this in the fourth bar, as the note is pretty high here. Ok
There's clearly a held flute sound here lol
00:44:058 (44058|1) - Remove this LN, just feels out of place to me.

Yeah, sorry but I really feel the song is better suited to LNs. If I remove all the LNs here, it will make an inconsistency with the other diffs, and I want to introduce the player to LNs in this diff to build towards the next, meaning they have to be here xD I responded to what I found relevant, but I'd really prefer not to radically change this diff unless I completely have to

Sorry, I can't carry on modding the mania diffs, our mapping styles are too different and it'll just end up like an essay. Done for now though ;)
Thanks for the mod! (:
puxtu
alright, because we need more pp maps

2015-11-13 15:55 puxtu: in mania, we call them grace notes
2015-11-13 15:56 puxtu: you can grace every single guitar sound like this 00:00:465 (465|0) -
2015-11-13 15:57 JBHyperion: I used it in ctb since there's no restriction on timing accuracy, so it's basically treated as one note
2015-11-13 15:58 JBHyperion: didn't think to add it in other diffs as I thought it would be way too hard
2015-11-13 15:58 puxtu: wha
2015-11-13 15:58 puxtu: it's really ez to press lol
2015-11-13 15:58 puxtu: it's not really hard

2015-11-13 16:04 JBHyperion: xD
2015-11-13 16:05 puxtu: HD is supposed to be HARD
2015-11-13 16:05 puxtu: right?
2015-11-13 16:05 JBHyperion: I get the feeling someone will say NM->HD gap is too big lol
2015-11-13 16:05 puxtu: wha
2015-11-13 16:06 puxtu: then buff up the NM too
2015-11-13 16:06 JBHyperion: I knew you were gonna say that xD

2015-11-13 16:09 puxtu: ill point out all the graceable notes on thread
2015-11-13 16:09 JBHyperion: kk
2015-11-13 16:11 puxtu: you can add double notes to emphasis the snare sound too
2015-11-13 16:21 puxtu: wait
2015-11-13 16:21 puxtu: are you sure it's 1/12 not 1/8?
2015-11-13 16:23 JBHyperion: some of them sounded like 1/12 and some like 1/8
2015-11-13 16:23 puxtu: a
2015-11-13 16:23 puxtu: maybe it's 1/8
2015-11-13 16:23 puxtu: idk
2015-11-13 16:28 puxtu: yea it's slower than 1/12
2015-11-13 16:31 JBHyperion: fair enough, will give it a try as all 1/8
2015-11-13 16:36 puxtu: cool
[HD]
Good job on gracing the notes, the lns are flawless and the hitsounds are nice, but after the testplay I think some parts needs to be revised a lil bit.
00:04:215 (4215|3) - first, this part is kinda a weird for me because the single note should be a 1/1 ln and the 2 lns should be the single note, well you know the guitar sound here is more dominant/longer (like this one 00:06:558 (6558|3) - ) than these two lns 00:03:277 (3277|1,3746|2) - so pretty much the pattern should be like this http://puu.sh/loOyV/9058c0f814.jpg (double notes to emphasis the guitar)
00:09:371 (9371|2) - same suggestion, you can hear the long sound is too weak compared to this one 00:09:840 (9840|3) - right?
00:11:715 (11715|0) - this part is in different case because there's flute sound, so I think you can keep that
00:16:871 (16871|1,17105|1) - you can put a hammer chord like in this part 00:39:371 (39371|0,39371|2,39605|0,39605|2) - (won't mention this again, apply this to similar parts)
00:20:621 (20621|0) - double, there's flute+snare sound here
00:39:371 (39371|2,39605|2,39781|3,39840|2) - lol pls it hurts, the spike makes this is the only part that has pink bar. try this http://puu.sh/loOC6/01b2645e1b.jpg
01:07:496 (67496|1) - remove whistle
01:12:652 (72652|2,73121|1) - I heard a 1/2 beat somewhere here
01:14:527 (74527|3,74996|3) - it's getting pretty loud, why dont you layer them?
01:18:277 (78277|2) - why are you keep missing these sounds lol, ignoring such a loud sound in mania is no no
[NM]
lol don't worry about the gap. its not that big :V
00:16:871 (16871|3,17105|3) - do not put hammers in nm diff ever
00:59:293 (59293|1,59527|1) - lol u srs
ok, everything else is fine for me
[EZ]
00:06:090 (6090|1) - move this to 3, give pitch relevancy a shoot
00:10:308 (10308|3,10308|2) - [14]
00:17:340 (17340|0) - high pitch, ctrl+h
00:34:215 (34215|1) - to 3 again
00:39:840 (39840|1,39840|0) - feels like deja vu
00:51:090 (51090|1,51090|0) - I smell copy paste :^)
01:19:215 (79215|1,80152|0) - ctrl+right twice
01:24:371 (84371|1,84840|1) - not even in the same pitch bro
^these are just a minor stuff, this diff is already good
yeah this map is just need 2-3 subjective mods and it's ready to go
goodluck!
