(CtB mod) Scrambled & HR v0.5

Catch the Beat only.
New mod suggestion.

The name for this mod, "Scramble" mod? (name suggested by abraker)
And summary is the mod is just an slightly veered (either moved left or right) fruits like in hard rock mod without higher difficulty settings (CS, AR, HP, OD) and with score multiplier of x1.06,

And another mod, named HR v0.5, said and suggested by baraatje123 (still need a proper name, I guess), same as hard rock but without slightly veered fruits, just higher difficulty settings, and x1.06 score multiplier as well.

Both shouldn't be stackable with hard rock or else the difficulty setting will be too high or fruits will be veered either left or right too much.

Well, that isn't what I meant.
I meant is a Catch The Beat mod that acts same as Hard Rock but without higher difficulty settings, just only slighty veered fruits. `~`

i think it's not going happen -_-
cuz many score already been made with the current mods
and i think if staf want to add new mod, they will consider to add mod that aplied to all game mode

Well, i think it still can, like top 50 scoreboard with HD only, can be added to AFHD (AF = Altered Fruits)

And there is also specific mods in osumania, like Fade In, maybe adding this won't be a problem with considering other modes, it only works with this mod.

i know about fade in
in mania but if cuz mania mod doesn't effect the score for player
so, what i mean to say is, altered fruits will change the current scoreboard or if you want to implemented this, they should change another mod like if you double click fade in if would change with HD.
if not the staf must consider to add mod that aplied to all game mode to make the score effet stable. cuz every game mode (expect mania) has already mod with same score 1.06=2 and 1.12=2. total 1.41

Well, I think I understand this but not sure how this but lets leave this to the implementers. :/

Or make on another icon, with AF (Altered Fruits) and another mod which increases difficulty settings but not veering fruits like in HR (like what baraatje123 said), with x1.06 score multipliers on both, and maybe unstackable with HR?

Thats a stupid reason to deny requests. By that logic nothing ever should be improved ever, cause thats unfair compared to what was earlier. Lets remove emails, sms and stuff, its unfair because you used to have only letters for this kind of stuff. No. Move on.

@OP: Maybe "scrambled fruits" would be a better name? "Altered Fruits" sounds so clumsy and unrefined.

Idk about the HR v0.5 because... um... not sure, but all i know it might won't work as a good name, lets wait for someone who can think a perfect name for it

Kinda, because it is hard to play with HR since the movement is chaotic, plus the smaller CS, OD (probably require faster reaction when doing hyperdashes), and AR.

And also it is good for practicing chaotic movements.

In that case, I think I would call this mod scramble (SC).

I think you should be asking for something else, though. There is no way to control the instability of the fruit independently (unless I misunderstood how CtB works). While such mod is a good idea, some things should come before others and I think implementing a way to set the fruit instability in the editor would be the first step. While it might be annoying, you will only need to change the fruit instability setting in the editor then until the actual mod is implemented. That's my two cents.

Well, I'll explain some short simple stuffs. :)

There is no fruit position variation with our current HR, which means fruits position will always be the same.

Are the notes scrambling around or are they in the same place with more OD and stuff ._.

Um... I'm not sure how to explain but...

I think higher OD affects the reaction time for doing hyperdashes...
I'm quite not sure about this though..

Well.... I think someone can explain better than me about fruits placement when using HR... :?

Yea. Higher CS, higher AR, higher OD, higher HP, and higher Instability.

OD does nothing like that, it just affects how much hp you loose from missed fruits and as such, is largely irrelevant for ctb.
The scrambled fruits stay in the same scrambled pattern for every play, theres no rescrambling.

Weird, I compared the different aspects between nomod and HR and they go up according to the info ingame.

Well, HR increases OD, yes. But the OD itself, even if its at OD10 doesnt really do much.

Well... The mod isn't all about spinners.
And the spinner is always harder on high OD, but it doesn't really matter (except for getting points) in CtB.

Uh, bump.

HR is currently bit too hard.
Maybe having this as a seperate mod (position alterting and difficulty setting multiplier) would be nice for many players, IMO.
