Hi! Peachtrees. AS you know I love this song, so I'm modding it. This is my sixth mod. I'm not a good modder. So if you don't agree with my mod, it's fine. I'm constantly learning.

  1. I really liked the song. I don't know where did you dinf it, but it's awesome. You found a great song to map so I'll do my best to support this map when you need. But with all of that means you have really good likes. o3o
  2. The hitsounds are just awesome. They really flow with the song. o3o
  3. You've done a great job by mapping the whole diffs with that slow BPM :o . So, I just can say Congratulations!

  1. 00:23:772 (1,2,3,4) - how about you play with the volume here a bit? it becomes a lot louder so maybe do something with this. that makes the map a lot more interesting. i suggest you add inheriting sections at 00:25:218 - with volume 35 and 00:25:941 - (it's okay that it becomes quieter afterwards because it becomes that in the song too) maybe also add a hitfinish on the beginnings of 00:25:218 (3,4) - (a soft one)
  2. 00:44:019 (1,2,3) - this looks a bit sloppy made, tbh. maybe make a line out of this
  3. 01:04:266 (1,2) - this plays weird. i suggest you delete 01:05:712 (2) - and just put a circle at 01:06:074 - and only map the vocals to emphasize them a bit
  4. 01:27:044 - i think you should add a circle here. you're suddenly changing what you're mapping and there's vocal AND guitar here.
  5. not much to find here, though. it's okay i guess. take a star
[Easy]

  1. 00:17:987 (4) - i think you should add a nc here (I rarely mod nc's but i think this is really important here because the drums are starting at this point and the thing before is something like a prelude and this should show somehow)
  2. 00:23:049 (2,3) - make a straight line here for looks
  3. 00:25:218 (4,5) - place 5 a bit more down so it looks like it's an extension of the slider before
  4. 01:29:937 (6) - maybe move this one down?
  5. okay. there's nothing wrong with this diff. and at this point i wont point out the little beauty-issues you got because i'm no fan of nazi modding. good luck with that map.

Tried making quite a few cosmetic changes to the map, following your suggestions. Minor ones for the most part but I feel like they overall helped improve the map

it also does a decent job of emphasizing the vocals. I kinda like the slider, so I'll need more opinions before touching it

Hmm. Easy is harder than Normal, because more 1/2 circle, slider, 1/2 part. Are you sure this is easy? Currently normal easier than Easy difficulty. I think, remap this difficulty, pleae, delete some 1/2 circle, and slider pair, and use simple 1/1 slider.

Examples:

- 00:17:625 (3) - Delete
- 00:20:156 (2,3) - Delete circle pair, and use 1/2 slider, or delete 00:20:518 (3) - circle It's bit hard for Easy.
- 00:25:218 (4,5) - Use 1/1 slider
- 00:29:194 (3) - Delete
- 00:59:204 (1,2,3) - This part very hard. Don't use this technique.
- 01:04:266 (3,4,5,6,1) - Same as ^Extremely hard for Easy. Don't use this technique.

... and the rest.

Don't use 1/2 circle, and 1/2 slider pair.It's Easy difficulty. not Hard and Normal!

will apply as soon as I get back from work!

Though I can already say that I disagree with the Easy being harder than the Normal :/ mapping 1/1 only for a bpm this low would feel very boring and monotonous. I can probably nerf some 1/2, but I'm not going to remap the entire Difficulty unless this ends up being an unrankable issue

Hard Diff: I was trying to make the Normal a Normal+ ish slowed down Hard kind of Diff, with cs4, rather spaced out and a rather high ar. Right now, I'm afraid that a Hard Diff would just end up being exactly like the Normal Diff with slightly higher SV slammed onto the map. I know that there are some 1/4 in the map, but I honestly just think that the song feels rather slow 90% of the time so mapping these doesn't feel like a good idea. Will wait for more input on this, though I'm not convinced that this neccessarily calls for a Hard Diff

using 1/2 for a song this slow for an Easy honestly feels appropriate. I'm willing to make the usage of 1/2 as predictable and easy to hit as possible, but I don't think that simply getting rid of them is a good idea, it makes the whole thing boring to play, which honestly doesn't do the song justice.

Ok i saw your first post regarding that you don't want to map hard(or normal+)because it kinda felt forced but I do think you can map it without being forced due to this music having constant 1/2s going on.

Now this is why I really want to suggest you at least normal+ or hard diff..

Some parts like 02:02:115 (1) - could be mapped as light jump, parts like 00:25:218 (3,4) - could be very nice space-increasing hitcircle pattern. but since you decided to make this as normal diff with 1.55 star, no i can't suggest those on this diff. even with those patterns emphasized and little more dense pattern, you won't have anything 3.0☆+ but you will at least have a map that actually feels like it tried to "express the music" by mapping it.

currently yes this is very decent easy and normal diff but I really don't think they expressed this music well enough.... do you honestly think your normal diff represents this music enough?

I honestly kinda disagree with you here :c The song doesn't really feel 'jumpy' to me (yes, this includes little jumps too). The whole song just feels...calm..slow..not really calling for anything intense. Yes you could space a few patterns a liiiitle more without making this feel overdone but that'd just leave you with a slightly harder Normal, plus it really only feels like you COULD spaced them out a little more, not like it's an abosultey neccessity.

And yes, I do feel like the Normal does a fairly good job at expressing the song :c

Well. First at all, I just have to say that I'm surpised with a hard diff of this slow map (because of the slow BPM) and here it is. Good job! Although, there are some issues that I'm going to point at because they're based on Ranking Criteria rules. So here's a minor list.
  1. There's a huge tag conflics with the Jlough's hard and the other diffs. All the mapset should have the same in the tags and in the source. So please, fix this. It's a minor issue tbut it can be a trouble sometimes.
  2. I think this diff is missing a lot of hitsounds and I guess this is the most important now. Mostly hard diffs have hitsounds which provide the players feel comfortable while he/she plays. Moreover, you're follwing the drums here, so keep in your mind to emphasize the strong beats I'm gonna expand this in the mod then.
  3. You're using almost the same pattern for the whole song. There such as variety of flows you can use to make your map more enjoyable.

But anyways, some nazi things:
  1. 01:12:943 (1,2,3) - The third slider feels like it blankets "closer" around the second one than the second one does around the first.
  2. 01:18:728 (1) - bent slider maybe? you did it for 02:16:577 (1) and for the other 2/1 sliders
  3. 01:47:652 (1,2) - are these two supposed to not blanket? it's hard to tell.
  4. 02:10:069 (4,5,1) - IMO this bend looks a little strange. It feels like the hit notes arc and then the straight slider is a little strange.
  5. 02:39:716 (1) - bend this one too? maybe in a wave?
  6. 03:54:920 (1) - this spinner is almost ten seconds long!!

  1. The diff settings on your normal for HP/OD are barely higher than the easy, which leaves a giant gap between E and H. Consider bumping up HP/OD by 1 to remedy this.
  2. 01:51:991 (3,4,1) - That last slider is too close to the second slider. The spacing should be consistent.
  3. 02:22:362 (1) - consider arcing this *away* from previous sliderbody. Even though the spacing is consistent, it looks like it's not.

  1. The comboing on this diff is strange. The NCs are 1/1 earlier than they should be... Lengths of combos are also inconsistent and don't usually appear to follow any discernible pattern.
  2. Hitsounding is generally lacking.
  3. You really, really, really love your 1/4 slider + note patterns.
  4. Re-examine the blanketing. For the most part it's fine, but there are minor inconsistencies/gaps. I have listed a few below.
  5. The patterns in this map feel very linear. Consider adding some variety.
  6. 00:21:241 (3) - This note should be on the next blue tick, not the red tick, IF YOU'RE FOLLOWING THE GUITAR. This happens a lot throughout the song and its quite ambiguous.

okay so to shorten things down I applied all of these and made sure stuff was applied to both Normal and Hard cuz having both consistent makes the most sense amirite

Shouldn't be the diffs be called "Easy and Normal" instead of "Normal and Hard"?

too much stuff overlapping in what used to be the Easy Diff so I renamed to Normal

then I renamed Normal to Hard because yeah
