Honestly, if you are getting upset about losing pp from dq's then just wait for maps to actually be approved before playing them for ranks. It's just a week, it's not that long. Being a BN or QAT is really tough and they have every right to be hard on a mapset if they don't think it is good enough.
its kinda hard to know when a map is finally ranked you know, unless you actually check the beatmap thread, just like i did when it got DQ. You can obviously know its ranked just because its ranked date, but what would happen it the actual process of DQ (1 week) had passed and the scoreboard was still there after 14 days of Qualification ? you would just naturally think that the map is actually ranked, am i wrong ?

Once a map is qualified, if it goes seven days without disqualification, it automatically converts to ranked/approved, no strings attached, and can never be disqualified or unranked. That's why the QATs who check maps have to be exercise extreme scrutiny to make sure it's as good as can be within the one week time frame that they are given, and there are a lot of maps to go through, all the time.Ealstrom wrote:

I'd like to suggest something which can improve the playability : - 00:33:327 (1,2,3,4,5) - this motion is a little weird, transitioning from a zig zag to a little jump (higher distance) with 00:33:673 (4,5) - is a little weird when playing, It looks a little uncomfortable to play due to the spacing difference, i suggest you to make something else, smoother like :
Also, consider reducing the distance between 00:33:789 (5,6) - because there is nothing strong at 00:34:020 - and it sounds a little overdone (note that the BPM is 260 1/2 so, jumps are SERIOUS).

Instead of just shrugging it off, you might want to ask some really good timers for their opinions too.
Don't take this personally, I just wanted to comment before this gets popped/DQd again for timing.
Also, just because another map with the same mp3 is ranked with a certain timing, it doesn't automatically mean it's correct. In mosts cases it is but not always. There are plenty of people who you can go to if you have any doubts, QATs included, so instead of saying that something is fine based on something that has almost no correlation to this mapset is kinda irresponsible.
Just my 2c.

- Is it intentional that 0920's Taiko BG.png's solution is not 1366x768? Not unrankable, but just wonder why (and if it's possible, fix it)
- 00:13:725 (8,1) - Do a ctrl+g on them? The flow would be more like a circle I guess.
- 00:29:648 (1,2,3) - The placement seems too crowded, especially compared with 00:28:956 (1,2,3,4,5) -. Not a big deal, but it could be better if you can use a larger distance to place them, such as https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3318197
- 00:07:033 (5) - Move to x:412, y:368? Instead of a suddenly-turns-up flow, I'd prefer the straight one. (00:06:571 (1,2,3,4,5) - )
- 00:02:417 (5) - Move to x:160, y:88, cuz you know, the distance between (3,5) and (5,6) should be exactly the same.
- 00:07:033 (4,5,6) - Since you've used such spacing on placing the stream like this, it'd be better if you can use the same (yes, 100% same) spacing betweem (4,5) and (5,6) since if it's not exactly the same it'll look like goddamn ugly due to some overlap issues (As you can see, (5) overlapped on (6)'s sliderhead a bit, that's awful)
