Hey guys! I love this song from Animal Crossing.

Knowing that nothing to this point from Animal Crossing has been mapped, I'm taking the chance.

[box=Change Log]Easy Revamp - 100% M/12/2016
Normal Revamp Revamped - 100% M/3/2016
Hard Revamp Revamped - 100% M/12/2016
Squirrel's Normal Revamp - 100% AU/25/2015

11/10/2014- Increased Overall Difficulty, Approach rate, HP Drop, decreased Circle Size for Very Hard Mode

11/10/2014- Added tags

11/14/2014- Received Gray Veyron's mod (THANKS A TON) Very Hard was renamed to Insane. Fixed Taiko background

11/15/2014- **RE-DOWNLOAD** Dumped Insane mode, I will leave that as a guest difficulty. Redid everything to fit Gray Veyron's mod.Redid Easy & Normal
Mode & Hard mode. Added hitsounds.

11/18/2014- **RE-DOWNLOAD**Received Breezy's mod. Thank youu~ Fixed spacing in certain parts that were found uneven, mapped accordion parts for hard mode, shortened sliders at the end to better match the music, added small skin changes (Hit circle, default numbers, and combo burst) . Spaced out the change log for easier viewing

11/19/14- Fixed minor NC Issues, background going black unexpectedly has also been fixed. Tags disappeared and have been re-added.

11/28/14- Changed around some combos with normal mode and changed a few patterns in Muzukashii, but I have not updated the beat map. Can't seem to open Osu.

12/3/14- Got Osu to run. Received my first Taiko mod from BinaryFruit. (THANK YOU <3) I have made everything to where it is rankable and fixed Futsuu entirely. I still want to fix the other difficulties to not be as repetitive.

12/5/14- **RE-DOWNLOAD** Received Tochi's mod. (THANKS!!) I changed a spacing problem with blanketing sliders as well as an extremely similar pattern that may look like copy and paste. Deleted Oni mode. Will leave that as a GD. Will redo Muzukashii to fit BinaryFruit's mod.

12/6/14- redid Muzukashii to be less repetitive. Also edited some minor things with the timing points to help conflicting timing point errors. Still digging for mods.

12/12/14- Redid Kiai time to not be as repetitive. Instead of it flashing after every boom, it flashes after the first boom at the start of the song, and the one after the break. Removed Kiai time from Taiko because the way I had it caused it to be unrankable. MOVED TO PENDING *0*;;

12/24/2014- Changed the artist to the composer of the song. Small spacing changes in Hard mode. Fixed some misspelled tags... oops. Digging for mods.

12/25/2014- **REDOWNLOAD** Changed Background image for standard difficulties. Received Fluttershy03's mod. (Thank you and Merry Christmas!) Changed the Artist to "戸高一生" and put in the romanized artist as well. Changed the source to New Leaf. Took out tags that had the source and game modes in them. Made pattern changes to hard and normal mode as well as some small placement changes in easy mode. Made Progress, Modders, and Changelogs all drop down boxes because this is a lot to scroll through.

12/26/14- Moved around some notes on hard to remove overlapping crossbow patterns that didn't fit. NCs were moved around to better fit the song on hard mode.

12/27/14- I changed some parts in hard mode to help increase the difficulty. Instead of ending with a triplet, I end it with a train of 1/2 circles.

12/31/14- Received FaiVillager's mod. (Thank you~!) Put everything up to recommended standards.

2/10/15- Received Alheak's mod (Happy New Year :D) Removed stacks from Easy and changed the kiai time limits to be longer. Fixed some slightly off blankets in normal mode, redid kiai time again, changed ome blankets on hard mode, redid kiai time again.

2/14/15- Received rfandomization's mod. (Thanks, man!) Changed some placement and mapped some spots in between breaks and towards the end differently. Changed tags. Move some notes around to help with flow. Removed combo bursts from skin, compressed fail background size.

2/15/15- Deleted Taiko (poo) and screwed with the .osu files to change the difficulty names! So basically, all is good and this is about ready to be ranked. :o

5/2/15 Resurrected with an attempt to (maybe) redo normal mod haha.

6/25/15 Ressurected and revamping normal and hard. Going to finish hard and look for new mods with a potential bubble in the near future 8D

6/26/15 **REDOWNLOAD** Added new hitsounds. Normal revamp is finished and the hard revamp is a WIP.

6/30/15 All difficulties are complete and ready for modding. Added a heart slider at the end of hard mode.

8/24/2015 Recieved Squirrel's mod and guest diff Also recieved Giralda's mod (swag thanks a shit ton guys). Redid hard mode AGAIN. Changed up some hitsound things. Yeah.

8/25/2015 Squirrel's stuff is done. Everything is cleaned up and ready for ranks desoo.

M/12/2016 HOW IS THIS NOT RANKED YET UGH IM SO LAZY. Revamped everything and looking for mods to get this dang map out of my life before my mapping style changes and I hate it again...

M/14/2016 Received mods from Lasse and Rtyzen. Changed some very small placement issues. Later received a mod from Wishkey (THANKS TO YOU ALL!) and made some spacing and combo changes. Still waiting on squirrel to update their map.

M/20/2016 HOT DANG The update for squirrel's diff came in (Thank you for all of your effort!) SO that's in. Renamed it because it's way easier now.

MAY/2/2016 Recieved ezek's mod and am trying my best as a new mapper to farm me some BNs. Almost there all!

MAY/11/2016 HERE COMES THE BUBBLE. Fixed everything according to Bakari's mod

MAY/15/2016 Applied Rocket's massive ass mod. the qualify is right over the horizon boys.

MAY/17/2016 Applied touch ups.

Heeey, Polka! Requested via forum PM! ^3^

Not very much with modding/mapping Taiko mapsets, but in nearby future, i might know how to mod/map Taikos later on o3o/ just gonna mod the standard diffs!
[> General <]
  1. - The Taiko background is okay, but for Standard, it's dimension should at least be 1024x768.
  2. - The "Very Hard" diff, should be called "Insane".
  3. - I feel that this song doesn't fit much to osu, but i think it somewhat worked out C:
  4. - Disable "Widescreen Support", You don't use, even a bit, of storyboard.
  5. - Pretty nazi, check a bit of AiMod for those little issues and clean some.
  6. - I don't see you're using the hitsounds, AND the custom ones, for the standard diffs. This might be unrankable, due that players wants to hear sounds like claps, to make the map fun.
[> Easy <]
  1. - Looks like i've seen some copy-paste patterns in the middle of the diff. You should make an effort to create creative maps like this one, but i think you'll need to remap the copy-pasted parts and remake it different patterns and flow. This'll also be on other diffs than just Easy diff, so you'll need to get back to mapping it.
  2. - OD -1, too far like a Normal diff.
  3. 00:05:390 (1,1) - Since it's an easy diff, this looks unrankable. Beginners should have a bit rest after the spinner. So just to avoid that, move the spinner to 00:04:948 - .
  4. 00:12:890 (1) - This'll look boring to beginners when just staying on a single slider for a bit long time. I prefer to do this rhythm > http://puu.sh/cP3ax/31b6185c0f.png
  5. 00:17:743 (4,1) - You should swap NCs here, new tracks(long white tick) should have an NC, or two new tracks should have NCs to get a few HP draining for the gameplay.
  6. 00:21:272 (4,1) - ^
  7. 00:33:625 (5,1) - ^, Gave up mentioning those, try finding them yourself, i don't like making big mods.
  8. - Some copy-pasted patterns and flipped horizontal. Try changing things i've mentioned here and do the same as the next parts.
[> Normal <]
  1. - Same reason about the pasted patterns.
  2. 00:08:478 (3,5) - Stack slider tail perfectly.
  3. - And same issue about swapping NCs, keep in mind that new tracks must have a new combo and not to keep the pattern number long. Try finding them.
  4. 00:27:448 (2,1) - Stack perfectly.
  5. - Same comment as the previous diff.
[> Hard <]
  1. - Same again for the pasted patterns, and the swapping NCs.
  2. 00:14:654 (1) - Remove NC here, since you've added on the previous slider, you shouldn't add another one in the same track. BUT IF! you have a very good reason to keep it.
  3. 00:22:375 (3,6) - Stack.
  4. - Same comment.

I need to stop here, since it's almost the same issues in the last two diffs, you'd probably need to have work with the pasted mapping in the middle of the mapset's diffs. Since it's a short song, you might not need a lot of time to spend remapping just for a diff. So I'm not trying to offend you, just trying to let you understand how mapping works for the ranking. Symmetrical patterns can make sense for this map, so try to do those. And I've seen, in each diff, great patterns and flows you've made here! try to make more creative flows more often! 8D

I think this is enough for me, try to find mods in forum modding queues, or use #modreqs channel in-game to find mods. And a "Good Luck" for you ranking this! :3/

I will get working no this right away and also plan to update the description when I am done. What's a NC? Could you be more descriptive? I understand you want more HP drain, but when would you prefer the new combo appears? For easy mode I have it set for every new time signature. But If I do it any other way, I seem to have combos going up to 6, which seems lengthy for easy mode. >.>;

I decided I'll just redo all of the difficulties again. With hitsounds and no copy/ paste, as well as more creative flow and patterns.

Hi! I'm from #modreqs!

Only able to mod standard.

Easy

SPOILER
00:04:948 - In my opinion, you don't really need a spinner here. You should just try to map the accordion in the background.

00:14:213 (1) - The spacing on this is a bit uneven with 00:12:448 (3,4)

00:47:301 - Same thing with the spinner idea, I think it would be best to map the accordion.

01:24:801 - I don't think you really need to map out this part, it's fine to just end it at 01:17:743 Unless you really want to keep it, then feel free.

Normal

SPOILER
00:04:948 - Same idea as before, try to map out the accordion.

00:11:566 (2) - Move this note a little to the right so that it's directly in between the two sliders.

00:35:169 (4,5) - Maybe turn this into a slider? It may look better.

00:47:301 - You know what I will say about this. :P

00:50:831 (3) - Either I'm seeing things, but I feel like this is a little bit higher than the slider at 00:49:507 Try to make these two even with each other.

01:17:522 (4,5) - Maybe make this a slider? Think something was similar like this in this map.

01:24:801 - Again with this. After thinking about it, maybe make it a note instead of a spinner?

Hard

SPOILER
00:04:948 - Same idea, unless you really want to keep it. :P

00:28:331 (1,2,3) - Correct me if I'm wrong, but are these allowed to overlap?

00:35:390 (1) - I don't think you need a NC here.

00:47:301 - :P

01:17:743 (1) - Same thing, I don't think you need a NC here.

01:24:801 - Add a 260 BPM stream here. It is a must. Haha, just kidding. :P

Overall, this beatmap is made very well. I think it's honestly rankable already! Maybe you could make a nice storyboard to go with it?

Good luck!

Thanks so much for the mod! I will remap everything here. The spinners during the accordion will be kept for easy and normal, but for hard, they will be mapped. As for the train of notes in normal mode, I'd rather not make it a spinner, I feel it helps separate it from easy mode.
I will get everything changed right away ;w;
BBB
Hi there~
Mod requested via pm.

Nice skin, funny failure bg hahaha

I played a lot of Animal Crossing! I really liked the soundtrack, I don't remember this one though. Was it from the original? If it wasn't be sure to change the source to the right game, since Animal Crossing refers to the one on Gamecube. If it was from the original and I forgot, then I am an idiot hahah :?

Futsuu
00:05:390 (1) - I think spinner works better
00:07:375 (2) - It's ok to be repetitive, but this is just katsus... surely you can come up with a better pattern :3 Instead of trying to match the music, try making up your own rhythm to add to the song :) Like what you did at 00:36:272 (70) -
00:36:272 (70) - best part
That's really my only comment, since the map is mostly the same thing... you need to redo it, sorry >w<

Muzu
OD6 is a little rough, OD5 maybe? Up to you, not a really big problem
00:05:390 (1) - I think spinner works better still lol
00:07:154 (2) - Same problem as above, again, try doing your own rhythm to add to the song... pretend to be a drummer, hehe
00:21:051 (62) - Finishers at the end of a stream must be a different color >.< (https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Taiko_Ranking_Criteria) You MUST fix this to be eligible for rank
00:36:051 (130) - <3 this
00:48:625 (11) - see above
01:03:404 (79) - see above
01:10:463 (112) - see above

Oni
OD8 is rough, OD7? Again, up to you
00:05:390 (1) - I like spinner lol
00:07:154 (2) - This overlaps the slider, it is hard to hit correctly... I think you should shorten the slider or change to spinner...
00:07:375 (3) - This is repetitive, try remapping >.<
00:21:272 (93) - this counts as ending a stream with a same color finish, please change
00:28:331 (141) - this counts as ending a stream with a same color finish, please change
00:35:169 (187) - see above
00:35:610 (190) - Good pattern, I think it could be even better! Maybe try
00:49:507 (51) - see above
01:03:624 (142) - see above
01:10:683 (190) - see above
01:17:742 (238) - see above

I'm glad you like the skin!

I admit, it was a bit repetitive. But in a repetitive song, it's hard to do something different. And just you watch, I'll try something, and it will be too weird or too hard to hit on time haha. I will change the stream ends, as it is my fault I didn't read up on the Taiko Ranking Guidelines. Oops.

Could you maybe give a few hints as to some patterns I could try? I'm not a drummer and have 0 creativity with Taiko. I try to go with what would best fit the music ;w;.. I will try to create something different but help would reaaaally be appreciated. Is there a guide?

Also, I changed the OD and switched the drum rolls with spinners.

Thank you for the mod <3

  • [General]
  1. Please check AiMod when you have finished a difficult to see if there is any problems. I want you to fix this:
  2. I don't really like the difficult name because of the "(Hard)" you should just call it "Hard" or "7:30 P.M." imo.
  3. There's so many problems with kiai time, look at the AiMod:

I think you should press F6, go to the "Inherited Points" and disable all the kiai timing points by pressing on this: And then try to enable it again, at places where it's useful. But first look at the mod below.

  • [Timing points]

    [7:30 P.M. (Hard)]
  1. Now to the timing points, i don't think you use them as you should.
  2. 00:04:948 - Why not move it to 00:05:390 - so it starts on this slider's 00:05:390 (1) - head?
  3. 00:07:182 - Please delete this green line.
  4. 00:14:186 - 00:14:213 - Same as above ^
  5. 00:14:241 - Same as above ^
  6. 00:28:358 - Delete this green line.
  7. 00:47:301 - Should start at 00:47:743 -
  8. 00:49:535 - Please delete this green line.
  9. 00:56:594 - Same as above ^
  10. 01:03:652 - ^
  11. 01:10:711 - ^
  12. If you want to make the next circle to the soft sample again, you can do something like this:

As you can see, the first green line is a Normal sample, because of the finish. And the second, is a Soft. It's normal to do this, and not like you did here before:

The second green line is too close to the first, and looks kinda arkward.
  13. Be sure to edit this with the other normal difficults if it's the same.
  14. Now you can begin to enable kiai time, at places where it's useful.

  • [Modding]

    [7:30 P.M. (Hard)]
  1. 00:15:978 (5) - Fix this blanket, it looks arkward like this:
    ^
    [img]00:15:978%20(5)%20-[/img]

It should be as nics as 00:15:095 (3) - Like you saw on the pitcure.

  • [7:30 P.M. (Hard)]
  1. 00:14:213 (1) - Why not do Ctrl + H, Ctrl + J, Ctrl + G and place it around here:
  2. 00:47:301 (1) - This spinner ends too early, it should end at 00:47:301 (1) - As the music change notes, but if you will keep it there, then do it.
  3. 01:13:331 (5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - This part is like this part 00:30:978 (5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - Why copy paste? I think you should remap this part (5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) -

  • Nice map :D I hope i could help you c:

Thanks for the mod! Unfortunately, I really like the timing points the way they are. It's not to have certain sound samples. It's because I like a little burst of stars and a flash of the notes at every boom. It helps keep the map interesting. The AiMod just states they are warnings, not so much errors. But if I get enough complaints, I will change it. Thank you for opening my eyes up to that for me.

I fixed the blanket too. But one thing I don't understand, is the idea that I copy and pasted? The old hard mode had that. But in the new one, I didn't copy and paste anything xD It may just look oddly similar.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to help me <3

No problem, im not sure if you can use kiai time for less than 1 sec in many parts. I don't really know that, because it's first time i've seen someone use it like that before. Ask a BAT to look at it if you are unsure about it, (like i am lol) they should know it.

Hi, mod from #modreqs.

Any questions about this mod then let me know!

[General]
  1. There's no need to have (Easy) (Normal) and (Hard) in brackets. Just have the times on the difficulty name. Although they're custom, they still clearly indicate their difficulty.
  2. Change source to "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" since that is the official name of the game it is from.
  3. Remove "animal crossing 7 P.m. new leaf taiko" from tags. This is because things that are already in other fields, such as source or title should not be included in tags, since the point of having tags in the first place is so people can search using terms that aren't in other parts of the metadata. Taiko is a game mode, so people shouldn't have to be searching that to find your map.
  4. I've noticed that the bg you are using isn't very high resolution. You want to go for a 1024x768 pixel bg for the 4:3 format, or 1366x768 pixels for the 16:9 format.
[Easy]
  1. 00:08:919 (3,4) - Bad flow here, the curve doesn't specifically go towards (4), making it feel somewhat tacky to play, although there isn't really much you can do about it due to lack of space.
  2. Asides from that, it's a very nice easy diff, but some parts of it seem boring, which are 00:10:684 (1,2,3) - , 00:26:566 (3,4) -, 00:53:037 (1,2,3) - , 01:08:919 (3,4) - , and 01:14:213 (1,2) -. This is because of how bland and boring the sliders are, make things more interesting by making different shapes and angles.
[Normal]
  1. I've noticed that many of your sliders throughout this difficulty end on the downbeat (the big white tick). This is very bad rhythm wise, because natrually the player is going to want to be hitting notes on the downbeat, since they are the strongest kind of beat and are needed in order for the player to keep a steady rhythm.
  2. 00:28:331 (1) - Your hitsound pattern changes from this point on, was this intentional? Because nothing really changes in the music to justify this sudden change.
  3. 00:57:448 (2,3) - The blanket here is really bad. Make sure that the approach is parallel to the edge of the slider track. Please fix this blanket, so it would look nicer.
[Hard]
  1. 00:16:640 (6,7) - Flow here is a bit choppy, since (6) and (7) aren't aligned with eachother.
  2. 00:28:331 (1,3) - This isn't a very good bow pattern, the end of (2) should not be overlapped. This kind of pattern is impossible to pull off correctly with your spacing and slider velocity, so I'd say ditch the pattern and go for something else.
  3. 00:30:537 (6,7) - The end of (6) isn't blanketed very well, you should fix it.
  4. 01:05:390 (5,6,7) - Look carefully at (5) and (7), you will see that they aren't perfectly symmetrical. Move (7) to a place like x:216 y:288 to make it look a lot nicer. Remember to adjust (8) afterwards for the sake of keeping spacing consistent.
Well, that's it from me! Personally, you shouldn't make an insane of this song, because it is very calm and slow paced so making a decent insane will be extremely hard without overmapping. Good luck!

Ah! Thank you! I will fix as much as I can ^^;
Unfortunately, I can't change the difficulty names. It will have me upload it as a whole new beatmap.

As for the background, I can't find anything that fits the song well enough. If you happen to have anything, let me know.

As for normal mode, I never notice the hitsound pattern changing, but yeah, I guess it was intentional. As for it landing on white ticks, this isn't a ranking issue, right?

PolkaMocha wrote:

No, it isn't unrankable, but generally maps that do this are lower quality than maps that have their sliders start on the right places. You should read this post for further detail in the subject: t/58959/

I can't rename the difficulties. It will make me upload them as a new beatmap.

Everything else has been changed accordingly.

Hi~ Nice track for night time:D
and for the mod(sorry but i'm only a standard player):
[Easy]
General: DS at about 1.3 is a little big but ok.Maybe shorter is better? Depends.
00:07:154 (1) - huh, kiai time is not necessary here i think. But if u make it resonable it's ok.
00:08:919 (3) - unflow it's a little difficult. try make it smooth.
00:08:919 (3,4,1) - a trangle for the three circle in the middle looks better
00:12:448 (3,4) - an accent in the middle of a slider feels strange. change these two to another rhythm?
00:23:037 (3,4,1) - these three could be more like a circle
00:58:331 (3,4) - stagger more or on the same horizon?
[Normal]
00:14:213 (1,2) - better in a shape. use a longer slider to place the circle 00:15:537 (3,4) - the same
00:23:919 (5,6) - begin of 6 can be on the same straight of 5 00:27:448 (5,6) - same BUT IT's OK HERE
00:28:331 (1,3) - ( some sliders like these) the second red dot change to white.
00:34:507 (1,2,3,4,5) - maybe too difficult?
01:00:978 (2) - y change to 336
[Hard]
00:12:448 (5,6,7) - i don't recommend place a slider end to an accent
00:14:213 (1) - unnecessary green line. think about remove those (include other time and diffs)
00:47:743 (1) - lose a beat before. add a note
01:00:757 (2) - better with same DS.
01:07:154 (1,2,3) - somehow a little strange. another shape's better?

That's it. A soft map. I'd like it ;w;

Hi, M4M from your queue (can't mod taiko):

General
The bitrate of the .mp3 is fine but maybe a bit low, 192kbps would be better.
Your background image uses a resolution of 1228x767, 1366x768 would be best, but at least make it 768 pixels high (767 triggers my OCD :o ).
I don't know a lot about skinning so I'll assume the rest is fine.

Kiai timing is really strange (and short). While I agree the song isn't very obvious for this, I suggest making the first Kiai last until 00:14:213 - and the 2nd one 'til 00:56:566 - .

Easy
00:23:037 (3,4,1) - Blanket could be better. Don't hesitate to deactivate grid snap for more precision.
01:17:743 (5) - Don't stack notes in Easy, too hard to read for beginners.

Normal
00:17:743 (1,3) - Shape is a little weird, I know it's not easy, but try but make a better blanket.
00:49:507 (1,3) - Weird shape, plus you could just have copy pasted 1 to make 3, then ctrl+h and cltr+g, how about this:

00:57:448 (2) - Not as bad as when I first saw it, but it almost overlaps 00:56:125 (6) - . Also blanket.
01:07:154 (1,2,3) - Blanket.
01:15:537 (3,4) - ^

Hard
00:12:448 (5,7) - Look poor, plus like Normal you could just have copied 5, mirrored and ctrl+g'd.
00:23:037 (5,6,7) - Blanket.
00:30:537 (6,7) - ^
00:48:625 (2,1) - ^
00:54:801 (5,6,7) - Like Normal, looks weird but hard to improve, do your best to though.
01:10:684 (1,2,3) - Blanket.

Here you go, I might be stressing a little too much on blankets but your maps looked so good it'd be a crime to let those badly done blankets run wild.
Feel free to PM/message in-game for any questions.
Good luck!

Hi! I asked for an NM mod in your queue, but when I saw you were mapping Animal Crossing, I had to do whatever I could to get this ranked :D
I didn't say it was a mod4mod because there isn't much I can really improve about this map that aren't already xD - and I don't think you will find my mod very useful.
(also, there are i think maybe two KK Slider songs that are ranked xD)
how to mod taiko, wish I knew....
so, mod then.
General
Wow, you did a good job mapping such a slow and soft song. Nice use of symmetry - copy/paste is only a crime if it feels wrong or is overused =P

I think that for the last beat in your standard diffs, a single spinner after the long break feels a little out of place. It might be better to put a hitcircle where the spinner starts and then put the spinner 1/4 beat after the circle, keeping the end point what it was before. The timeline would look like this- (before) (after) It feels more natural to play in Hard and Normal at least. For Easy, I think a single beat still feels better than just the spinner, but of course, it's up to you.

00:42:448 - It feels strange that this is unmapped in all diffs. A single beat on this point, splitting the break into two breaks, feels more natural. If you do add the beat (you really should xP) then you may need to hit the "Insert Break Time" button after the beat so that there is a small break after it before the next spinner.

AIMod says that the mapset size is more than 10MB without video. This is undesirable, and I think some of your skinning elements (hitcircles, combobursts) are taking up more space than they should. The comboburst images should be compressed as much as possible to decrease the total filesize =I

Remove Easy from tags. It's in one of the difficulty names and doesn't need to be there. Also remove "7" and "p.m." They are in the song title already. I'll let "pm" slide because in-game, no one would bother to type the dots while searching for this map, and it wouldn't show up if this wasn't in tags xD (but the website search function doesn't take anything less than three characters into account, so you may be asked to remove this.)

I believe you CAN change the diff names without uploading a new beatmap by mistake. Whether you do or not is up to you.

Easy
Good Easy diff. Patterns are well-made.
mod for Easy
00:10:684 (1,2) - You use this type of pattern (two 1/1 sliders after another) many times throughout this diff, with both of them following the same flow (i.e, moving the same direction). The pattern itself is sound, but to keep things interesting and spice up the flow, maybe have the second one moving in the opposite direction in some of the patterns, like so. Perhaps this particular pair should not be changed, but I will point out some places where it may be a good idea.

00:15:978 (3,4) - Maybe Ctrl+J both of these sliders, and move them back to their original positions, so that they curve towards each other, instead of curving opposite ways. Is more conventional flow =)

00:31:860 (1,2) - Here, maybe you could try like this. Flows better in my opinion =D You would have to adjust the next few notes' positions, but not necessary to change them from what they are, only where they are.

00:58:331 (3,4) - Ah see? This is nice =D

01:03:625 (1,2) - I think the flow here could benefit from a Ctrl+G on the "2" slider, and repositioning of the notes afterwards

01:14:213 (1,2) - And here too.

Normal
Symmetry is always good, not much to point out here.
mod for Normal
00:57:890 (3) - Perhaps a Ctrl+G on this slider will give better flow.

01:01:419 (3) - Maybe this might be better here.

01:12:890 (4,5,6) - It feels better (to me) if these beats were to the right of the "3" slider and not the left =D

Hard
mod for Hard
00:05:390 (1,2) - This is a little awkward pattern in terms of visuals. Perhaps this or maybe this would be better.

00:19:507 (5,6) - I really think you should Ctrl+G the "6" slider and move the "7" to the other side of it =)

00:28:331 (1,2,3) - It is a repetitive song, but that doesn't mean you need repetitive patterns! You have done quite well in terms of this, but THIS pattern here is quite a good one, so using this maybe twice more in place of some of your other patterns would not be bad. There are too few stacked beats in the map (only my opinion) and more of them adds variety and makes it more fun to play! (My perspective as a Hard player =D)

00:42:448 - As I said in General section, it feels quite peculiar to me that this beat is not mapped! D= Please consider adding a note. (not only in this difficulty c:)

00:47:743 (1,2) - Perhaps something like this, or maybe this? Maybe even this would not be bad. There is opportunity here to do some patterns maybe, for the first you would have to adjust Distance Snap to 1.2 to achieve the same as the picture (which would not mess up players, the distance is still quite far enough), for the others, no DS adjustment is needed, just some moving around, and maybe some Ctrl+G. Adjustment of the next few notes would be required though, and I don't want to mess up the nice blanket you have with the slider after "2". What you currently have is perhaps not as good for flow as it could be =)
(I guarantee some BAT would probably have pointed this out xD)

00:58:110 (4,5) - Maybe move the "4" beat to x:160 y:268, and start the "5" slider under the "4" beat? It plays quite nicely.

01:00:095 (1,2,3) - Here, perhaps like this, and the "3" slider starts under the "2" note?

01:09:581 (6,7,8) - I liked this.

01:24:801 (1) - Also please consider what I said about this spinner in the General section.

Overall, this map was quite a pleasure to play - slow songs are growing harder to find on osu! It was a little repetitive in parts, but by adjusting flow a bit, adding some stacked notes (in Hard and Normal, not Easy xD) it could be even better than it already is. I can see this being ranked in the very near future.
(Hope it wasn't a super horrible snooty mod)

Thanks, man! I was going to respond to each idea individually, but then when I previewed it, I had to log in again. Everything disappeared. I basically went through with most of your ideas about mapping that note in the break, putting a hit circle at the end note of the song, and some of your flow ideas, unless it required me to remap the rest of the song.

Also, Animal Crossing is the shit. Although I hate how I mapped this, it's how I did things back then. I have my eyes set on mapping 1 A.M., K.K. Bubblegum, K.K. Condor, K.K. Gumbo, and even K.K. Hypno or 4 A.M.! I won't use the same mapping style, and I might even include some story boarding!
Squichu
hey there!
mod from my queue :3

General
  1. nice song choice! I like this owo
  2. you're missing the sliderbordercolour in your osu files! Cause you're skinning the circles this is needed.
If you don't know how to do that ask in #modhelp or pm me ingame.
Also, the approachcircle.png is missing, you can copy the default one and add it to the folder
  3. all diffs: 00:04:948 - timing point here doesn't make any sense, you can just start the diff with 5% volume o:
7PM
  1. combocolours: 2 and 4 are veeery similar, since there's another colour inbetween that's not a problem, but for variety, you might want to change one of them?
and cc#5 is really hard to see, because it's so dark, consider changing that too.
    my suggestion

    [Colours]
    Combo1 : 188,85,10
    Combo2 : 128,68,57
    Combo3 : 249,193,79
    Combo4 : 181,2,2
    Combo5 : 255,128,0
    Combo6 : 251,198,149
  2. 00:04:948 (1,1) - I know this is really slow and all, but because the slider's appearing while the spinner still has to be played, this can be super confusing for newbies. Mabye it's better to avoid this by replacing the spinner with a slider or two?

    same for 00:47:301 (1,1) - !
  3. 00:08:478 (2,3) - ctrl+g on the timeline? The sounds on 00:09:801 - and 00:10:243 - are the same, but only the second one's clickable. by doing this you'd ignore the downbeat, but it's not that dominant at this point, so this should be fine.
the same goes for similar patterns ofc
  4. 00:12:448 (3,4,1) - hmmh, consider emphasizing the background sounds better? like this -
  5. 00:23:037 (3,4,1) - flow here might be really confusing for beginner players. :c can you move (4) further up? to 260|72 for example.
if you still want a circle in the middle of the sliders, you can move 00:26:125 (2) - there. that's a lot less confusing and still plays nice
  6. 01:17:743 (5) - I think you forgot NC here
7:15 PM
  1. is there a reason for different combocolours? .o. I liked the one for the easier diff waaay better, they matched the background so nicely. :c
  2. 00:09:801 (1,3) - I didn't notice the hitsounds that much in the other diff, but this sounds a little weird. Why is there whistle on head and nothing on tail on (1), but on (3) there's clap on head and whistle on tail? Sounds kinda off to me, but Idk. D: I'd prefer if (3) had whistle instead of clap and nothing/clap on tail
same goes for everything similar .o.
  3. 00:34:507 (1) - how about removing the reverse and adding a cirlce instead? 00:35:390 - should be clickable, imo.
    same for 01:16:860 (1) - !
7:30 PM
  1. same about combocolours as in 7PM
  2. 00:08:919 (5,6) - there's absolutely no sound on the blue ticks.. so why make nothing clickable? :/
I don't know, all these mapped blue ticks seem really forced. They don't match the melody at all. I slowed down to 25% and 50% and 75% and couldn't hear any sounds (except for the hitsounds xD), but I heard the beat at 00:09:140 - in-between the sliders.. why don't you map sounds that are actually there? :c
maybe try this rhythm here instead -

I'm sure you can think of something for the other parts, if you want to.
  3. 00:10:022 (8) - the beat on the reverse should be clickable, imo. how about removing the first part of the slider and adding a circle at 00:10:022 -?
  4. 00:12:779 (6,1,2,3,4,1) - hmmh, you could emphasize the background sound here a lot better, too. just remove (2) and (4). atm the sounds go totally unnoticed, because the weaker beats (2+4) are clickable, too. so you could remover them or use sliders instead to improve that
  5. 00:21:272 (1) - In case you want to make your diff slightly harder, add a jump here? the sound's so much different than the rest, so that'd work well
  6. 00:30:978 - did you miss a circle here? feels weird unmapped D:
  7. 00:35:390 (7) - NC, cause different sound?
    same for 01:17:743 (8) -
weeeell, that's all from me. good luck with this! :3

  1. nice song choice! I like this owoswag
  2. you're missing the sliderbordercolour in your osu files! Cause you're skinning the circles this is needed.I'll send a pm later.
If you don't know how to do that ask in #modhelp or pm me ingame.
Also, the approachcircle.png is missing, you can copy the default one and add it to the folderDoes it not appear in the map or something?
  3. all diffs: 00:04:948 - timing point here doesn't make any sense, you can just start the diff with 5% volume o:Changed. Good call.
7PM
  1. combocolours: 2 and 4 are veeery similar, since there's another colour inbetween that's not a problem, but for variety, you might want to change one of them?
and cc#5 is really hard to see, because it's so dark, consider changing that too.I'm gonna go ahead and pass on this one. The colours are fine and no one has had a problem with them before. If this gets suggested more, I will change it.
    my suggestion

    [Colours]
    Combo1 : 188,85,10
    Combo2 : 128,68,57
    Combo3 : 249,193,79
    Combo4 : 181,2,2
    Combo5 : 255,128,0
    Combo6 : 251,198,149
  2. 00:04:948 (1,1) - I know this is really slow and all, but because the slider's appearing while the spinner still has to be played, this can be super confusing for newbies. Mabye it's better to avoid this by replacing the spinner with a slider or two?I've decided to leave it unmapped.

    same for 00:47:301 (1,1) - !
  3. 00:08:478 (2,3) - ctrl+g on the timeline? The sounds on 00:09:801 - and 00:10:243 - are the same, but only the second one's clickable. by doing this you'd ignore the downbeat, but it's not that dominant at this point, so this should be fine.I've changed the hitsound pattern so it better matched the downbeat.
the same goes for similar patterns ofc
  4. 00:12:448 (3,4,1) - hmmh, consider emphasizing the background sounds better? like this -It will take away the symmetry. I'll keep it sorry.
  5. 00:23:037 (3,4,1) - flow here might be really confusing for beginner players. :c can you move (4) further up? to 260|72 for example.Done.
if you still want a circle in the middle of the sliders, you can move 00:26:125 (2) - there. that's a lot less confusing and still plays nice
  6. 01:17:743 (5) - I think you forgot NC hereI wasn't, but it works so I put an NC there.
7:15 PM
  1. is there a reason for different combocolours? .o. I liked the one for the easier diff waaay better, they matched the background so nicely. :cWhen I redid normal and hard mode, I forgot to change colours for easy.
  2. 00:09:801 (1,3) - I didn't notice the hitsounds that much in the other diff, but this sounds a little weird. Why is there whistle on head and nothing on tail on (1), but on (3) there's clap on head and whistle on tail? Sounds kinda off to me, but Idk. D: I'd prefer if (3) had whistle instead of clap and nothing/clap on tailI'm not changing anything as they seem alright to me.
same goes for everything similar .o.
  3. 00:34:507 (1) - how about removing the reverse and adding a cirlce instead? 00:35:390 - should be clickable, imo.Done.
    same for 01:16:860 (1) - !
7:30 PM
  1. same about combocolours as in 7PM
  2. 00:08:919 (5,6) - there's absolutely no sound on the blue ticks.. so why make nothing clickable?
:cI wanted to be creative and spice things up.I guess that was a bad idea?
maybe try this rhythm here instead -

I'm sure you can think of something for the other parts, if you want to.hhh I'm not sure. THat wqould mean redoing the whole diff. If I get more people wanting to change this; I'll do so.
  3. 00:10:022 (8) - the beat on the reverse should be clickable, imo. how about removing the first part of the slider and adding a circle at 00:10:022 -?It would be too hard to add flow here with that.
  4. 00:12:779 (6,1,2,3,4,1) - hmmh, you could emphasize the background sound here a lot better, too. just remove (2) and (4). atm the sounds go totally unnoticed, because the weaker beats (2+4) are clickable, too. so you could remover them or use sliders instead to improve thatI... I don't understand what you suggest here?
  5. 00:21:272 (1) - In case you want to make your diff slightly harder, add a jump here? the sound's so much different than the rest, so that'd work wellHonestly it really would. But I'm not sure I want to because it wouldn't match the rest of those parts.
  6. 00:30:978 - did you miss a circle here? feels weird unmapped D:It was meant to match the hit sounds
  7. 00:35:390 (7) - NC, cause different sound? I guess.
    same for 01:17:743 (8) -

Hey~
From my queue

[General]
  1. You can remove "instrumental" from tags as it will be part of the genre once qualified.
[7:00 P.M.]
  1. 00:08:478 (2) - Seems like it would be a better option if this circle was placed in front of the slider end at 00:07:154 (1) to keep things simple and clear. http://puu.sh/jEWZM/33b750788d.jpg
  2. 00:12:448 (3,4,1) - Would be pretty cool if you adjusted this to be symmetrical. Could appeal to newer players better that way with a better design choice. Reminder to adjust 00:15:537 (2) to distance snap if you do this. http://puu.sh/jEXgd/77496983c0.jpg
[7:15 P.M.]
  1. The jump in SV from 0.7 to 1.2 is pretty huge imo, given that the Hard's SV is 1.3 which leans into the more difficult side but maybe 1.10 would be fine too.
  2. 00:15:537 (4) - Hmm, stack on 00:13:772 (2)?
  3. 00:19:948 (6) - How about shift this downwards to maintain your diagonal movement instead? http://puu.sh/jF2TC/9c982da8db.jpg
[7:30 P.M.]
  1. Not sure how I feel about the 1/4 patterns but I don't exactly agree with them for such a calm song. Consistent 1/2 seems most appropriate.
  2. 01:17:301 (5,6,7,8) - arbitrary 1/6 when there's no musical support isn't really the best choice.
The lower diffs in the set are pretty nicely done overall but the 1/4 and 1/6 in the Hard isn't really necessary for such a calm song that doesn't really ask for such rhythm usage. Good luck on your qualification!

consider adding a black outline or sth to the defaults, as they blend a bit much with some of the brigh combo colors, making it look odd
also you really should find a way to fix this: http://i.imgur.com/0sR5bUg.jpg reversearrow on the grey is really bad to read and also look weird
silence soft-sliderslide

diff that should probably be renamed to 7:45 pm

  1. 00:13:331 (3,4,1) - avoiding overlaps like this would be a good idea to make everything look nicer http://i.imgur.com/aOixZu6.jpg
  2. 00:13:331 (3,5) - so those are jumps, but 00:12:890 (1) - isn't, even though it's just as strong and pretty muich the same sound?
  3. 00:14:213 (1) - why this finish? there is no cymbal or anything in the music and it doesnt work well. remove it or find a "finish" to emphasize that sound
  4. 01:07:816 (3) - no idea how you decide if you map this sound or not since oyu just sometimes do it for whatever reason and most of the time just ignore it
those points apply pretty much for the whole map/when the patterns repeat, since the whole maps uses like 4 different patterns, lol
having nearly everything distance snapped is pretty boring for the highest diff of a set since you could really follow the music more with your spacing

squirrel

  1. same for finish hitsound as other diffs
  2. 00:04:948 (1,2,3) - yes it uses soft sampleset, but since there is no soft-hitnormal to override the player's skin and most people using soft-hitnormals that are stronger than the default ones, silencing the sliderends would be nice. it's not necessary though.
same for the other time this happens
  3. 00:07:375 (2,3) - current back and forth sliderend-1-2 puts pretty strong emphasis on 2 due to movement which feels a bit too strong. you could ctrl-g this, which would also result in a bit better readability
  4. 00:14:213 (1) - even if it is a 1/1, using some more spacing would fit with how strong it is, considering sth like 00:17:301 (3) - is spaced the same currently

715

  1. you could really vary your pattern a bit, so many pentagons etc.
  2. gap between this and both hard diffs is actually huge, since those utilize a heavy amount of 1/2, while this is purely 1/1 ar and od gap is also really big

silence soft-sliderslideI don't understand what you are saying here, my bad.

diff that should probably be renamed to 7:45 pmIt's 7:30. It's not much higher than squirrel's, so calling it 7:45 would be a little silly.

  1. 00:13:331 (3,4,1) - avoiding overlaps like this would be a good idea to make everything look nicer http://i.imgur.com/aOixZu6.jpgOne does not see the overlap during game play, though. If this gets further remarks, I'll change it.
  2. 00:13:331 (3,5) - so those are jumps, but 00:12:890 (1) - isn't, even though it's just as strong and pretty muich the same sound? So, this will be really hard to explain, but I'll do my best. I put the jumps because the sounds were increasing in pitch. I don't do the jumps on the sound itself, but on the pitch change OF the sound. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.
  3. 00:14:213 (1) - why this finish? there is no cymbal or anything in the music and it doesnt work well. remove it or find a "finish" to emphasize that soundActually, there's a build up and release within the song. marking the release of musical build up with a finish sound works well in my opinion.
  4. 01:07:816 (3) - no idea how you decide if you map this sound or not since oyu just sometimes do it for whatever reason and most of the time just ignore it
those points apply pretty much for the whole map/when the patterns repeat, since the whole maps uses like 4 different patterns, lol
having nearly everything distance snapped is pretty boring for the highest diff of a set since you could really follow the music more with your spacingOn the note you made about the red ticks, I map them whenever I feel something on the red tick will enhance the gameplay and over all structure of the map in certain places. As for the spacing, I don't see why distance snap should be turned off for other parts other than where I have it.

hey its me ur modder here for the M4M
[General]
  1. Combo colours are different for squirrel's diff, not sure if this is important
  2. The slider at the very end for all the diffs except the first one are not snapped?
[7:30pm]
  1. The new combos are abit weird, try to stick with NCing long white lines as much as possible. I understand it's the nature of the song that makes it hard to tell where to NC, so I wont comment on them
  2. 00:13:331 (3) - 00:34:507 (3) - 01:16:860 (3) - Claps for these maybe?
  3. 00:49:066 - I think this is an extra green line, or maybe it's supposed to be here 00:48:625 - ?
  4. 00:57:448 (3,4) - I feel like this overlap is abit weird, imo you should overlap it more maybe

[Squirrel's diff]
  1. I'm not sure what the claps are being mapped to. Sounds abit random to me but you can go ahead and enlighten me on that
  2. Parts where you use the default soft hitsounds like this 00:47:301 (1,2,3) - don't have the silent sliderslide and sound weird
  3. 01:24:801 (1) - Clap on start sounds weird

  2. 00:31:860 (4,5) - this flow is slightly weird. I think something like http://puu.sh/nFSJ7/0360cb47c4.jpg would look better
  3. 00:52:154 (1,3) - Are these not meant to overlap properly?

Heya M4M from my Q

Really nice map, seems almost ready for BNs imo! :D

7:00 PM

-01:01:860 (1,1) - blanket can be improved here
-Hitounds and rythm seem alright so good to go

7:15 PM

-00:19:948 (3,4) - maybe switch these around because (3) and the beginning of (4) are the same sound here so slider these instead to emphasize the ending of (4) with a circle here
-00:47:301 (1) - Dunno if the ranking criteria on this has changed (can't seem to find it anymore), but the recovery time after the spinner seems too low for a normal, so you might just want to put a slider here instead. (If its rankable tho you can ignore this)
-01:04:948 (2,3) - X68/Y104 for DS
-01:24:801 (1) - unsnapped end here, really like the design but new players might misread the direction it goes too. I Hope this doesn't become an issue

Subjective stuff: I feel like the slider velocity is set too high here personally. You use 0.70 in easy 1.20 here and 1.30 in the hard diff. Why not make it 1.00 here for an even spread all at once. Just wanna point it out incase this ever comes up again

7:30

-00:24:360 (7,1) - would blanket (7) with (6) here instead and place 1 maybe here for better flow
-00:43:772 (1) - you can NC this to make the privious note even more lonely like the music suggests
-01:00:537 (4) - why not cntrl +g this aswell like 00:58:772 (1,2) - since its still in the same combo
-00:35:390 (7) - NC this like you did with 01:17:743 (1) -
-01:03:184 (3) - move this down a bit to x240/y56 so you got that even triangle between the ending of (1), (2) and (3)

Squirrels 7:30

-00:04:948 (1,2,3) - you can silence these sliderends to create more of a hold sound ( just saw previous mod: for silenced ends use soft hitsound, 5% volume on the ends => start the beginning of the next note again with 20% volume)
-00:08:478 (1) - start the NC on this instead of 00:08:919 (2) - because you start following a different instrument here
-00:12:448 (4) - these sliderends can be silenced aswell because you're following the hold sound here
-00:15:537 (5) - NC switch
-00:22:595 (4) - ^
-00:42:448 (1) - maybe lower volume a bit here if your gonna go with the loud hitsound, it sounds louder than all the rest of the song atm
-00:47:301 (1,2,3) - check 00:04:948 (1,2,3)
-00:50:169 (4) - you can place this at x96/y100 so its the same spacing as 00:07:154 (1,2,3,4,5) -
-01:03:625 (1) - too much of a jump compared to the rest of the map imo, maybe try this for (6,1)
if you wanna keep the overlap
-Dont forget to check the unsnapped end of the heart

-01:00:537 (4) - why not cntrl +g this aswell like 00:58:772 (1,2) - since its still in the same comboI'll change it for now, but the flow from (4) to (5) kind of bothers me a bit.
-00:35:390 (7) - NC this like you did with 01:17:743 (1) - Good point.
-01:03:184 (3) - move this down a bit to x240/y56 so you got that even triangle between the ending of (1), (2) and (3)I mean it already was an even triangle... but I moved it down for the sake of it being so close to the HP bar.

GL on ranked! :DTHANKS

Thank you so much! I hope so too.

Hello~ Random mod not true, I was actually stalking you~
OMG! This is beautiful!

General
  1. Your BG is widescreen, BUT! It's doesn't have a 16:9 ratio, and widescreen backgrounds need to have that ratio in order to be approved. Your BG is not 16:9 by just a few pixels, but I re-sized it for you to a common 16:9 resolution so you don't get problems with other people later~ Take it~
  2. Seems that you have a hitcircle.png file on your mapset~ BUT you need to have the whole hitcircle skin set so your map can be approved. This is the hitcircle skin set. There are two solutions, delete that file OR get the whole set. I recommend you to get the whole set since the animal crossing leaf fits perfectly there~
  3. Also, you have another skin object from another set by itself, which is the reversearrow.png. And as above, you can delete it or get the whole slider skin set. You can check the skin sets for standard here. I recommend you to just delete it since it has nothing to do with the song and you wouldn't have to worry about getting the whole slider skin set, but it's up to you~

7:00 P.M.
  1. 00:14:213 - This should be the beginning of the slider OR a circle. This part has a very strong beat and it's not well emphasized as just the end of a slider. And if you take a look at the other diffs, including Squirrel's, you used either a circle or the beginning of a slider here~
  2. 00:55:684 (2) - Exactly the same thing as above~
  3. Sliders 00:34:507 (2) - and 01:16:860 (3) - are fine since there are no upcoming notes because of the breaks and they feel good like that.

Squirrel's 7:15 P.M.
  1. Widescreen support is enabled in this difficulty only, please disable it as there is no storyboard~

The other diffs look fine to me~
You don't need that huge changelog, it's fine by just listing the people who modded your map~
Nice map! You should call a BN after fixing the stuff I mentioned! Don't give up! You have my star (╯°□°)╯
wait.. why is this in WIP? It should be on pending unless you're planning on doing an SB or another diff...

I was asked to give it a look, somebody really wqnts to help you out with this set.

[General]
  1. Since you skin hitcircles, you are to skin sliderborder as well. Add the following to your .osu file under the Colors section
    SliderBorder : 255,255,255
Note: you can change sliderborder colour to be anything you want. 255,255,255 is White colour. If you want something else, just change RGB values!
[7:00 PM]
  1. 00:05:390 - 5% volume hitsounds are inaudible, which means that Easy difficulty needs an increase of the volume level up to 15-20% here.
  2. 01:01:860 (1) - this new comob here feels unnecessary. Having a combo that is only one object long may be confusing for beginners.
  3. 01:17:743 - let's remove the reverse arrow and add a circle here. So, the drums are emphasised better here and players get to actually click the strongest bbeat of the combo.
  4. 01:26:125 - are you sure you don't want to map the ticking sounds starting here? You could at least increase the volume here, so, sliderticks would sound louder, emphasising the sounds.

Overall it's a pretty neat Easy. I like it.

[7:15]
  1. Approach Rate is much lower than Slider Velocity, hence, the gameplay feels unbalanced. Try higher Approach Rate? 4 or 4,5 will do.
  2. 01:04:948 (2,3) - minor - the spacng is a bit uneven here. Try to make it closer to x1.0 to make things look perfect.
  3. 01:24:801 (1) - can you move head and tail of the slider apart? The way they overlap brings a bit of confusion into the gameplay.

    Nice one.
[Squirrel's 7:15 PM]
  1. 00:08:919 - the downbeat here is unstressed and it makes gameplay a bit forced. Try to make it clickable by using two circles instead of a slider?
  2. 00:12:890 (1,2,3) - the spacing values here trick players into thinking these are 1/2 snapped circles. Try to stick to stacks/regular DS.
  3. 01:24:801 (1) - same issue as with the Normal. Moving head/tail of the slider apart would increase it's readability.

    Nice one!
[7:30 PM]
  1. 00:13:110 (2,4,6) - try to remove the objects snapped on the red ticks, this will emphasise stronger beats and add a nice antijump pattern!
    Note: 00:55:243 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - same here!
  2. 00:53:037 - due to the way the stronger beat kicks here, it's better if we use two circles and make this beat clickable.
  3. 01:24:801 (1) - and yet again, try to split tail and head of the slider apart for the sake of readability.

    Good job!
While the downbeats/upbeats are not stressed the way you would exxpect them to, the rhythm is consistent through the set and it matches well with the way the beat goes. In the end, we get a well-designed set of difficulties that work well together. I have to admit that the set is pretty good as it is!

Best of luck!

And btw, are you sure you want a difficulty name that long? You can just delete my name from the diff name if you prefer that, as long as my name stays in description that should be fine. :3 Or change names to Midday/Afternoon/Dusk/Night, then you don't need Simple/Normal/Advanced in the names?
(Oh, and my name still needs to be added to tags in your diffs, unless RC got changed by now and I didn't know. xD)

(Oh, and my name still needs to be added to tags in your diffs, unless RC got changed by now and I didn't know. xD)
I added you r name to tags and removed your name from difficulty. I'm keeping the names because of an issue with their indication of difficulty prior.

Hellow! Minor things since I'm quite sure this is almost ready regarding the mapping related things. However, I'd like to know some things before pushing this forward.
[ General]

  • When adding custom skin elements, you should add all the elements which belong to their skin nature:
  1. Sliderball should never be transparent due it might mislead the actual motion that the ball represents when it's moving through the slider-body. Hence, consider adding a custom color to fix this respectively. Here I made an example about what you can do instead.
  2. The file fail-background.jpg must be png extension to make it work because as it is now it's not working. Referring to the nature of the pause screen, it's missing the custom pause-overlay.png to have it complete.
  3. The size of the fail background and the current background should the same to prevent issues with weird overlaps between these two. Thus, having them both on 1366x768 would make more sense here. Here I provided some examples in the below box:
  4. The file approachcircle.png should be 126x126 to have it in its optimal size.
  5. Having the same vol of the kiai with the rest parts of the songs don't support well the main idea why we set up kiai over a song. It would make more sense if you raise up on 10% the lines which belong to kiai to give more emphasis to the notes comprehended by it.
  6. 00:45:868 - Can I know the reason why this is set up until there? Like would it be another difference if you place it here 00:45:978 - or later? The main issuse here is that the blue layout doesn't follow anything in the song so it looks rather random at not making any correlation with the song. Just in case it does for you, keep them. Otherwise, remove them.
[ Simple Midday] Really nice Easy! What I can see is that the style is old somehow so the overlaps and the things in general go for that age, which isn't unrankable. Good job! Minor things to polish them a bit and we're ready to go. Let's see:
  1. 01:01:860 (1) - Remove NC here and add NC here 01:03:625 (2) .
  2. 01:03:625 (2) - Variation is important but here making a straight slider doesn't flow good because the song aims for more movement. I do believe using this shape 00:28:331 (1) - would make stuff more fun.
  3. 01:24:801 (1) - Add a whistle at the slider-tail as well as you did in the higher difficulties.
  4. Leaving these spots 00:12:890 - 00:55:243 - with no beats feels way awkward because clearly the song supports 1/1 beats there. Hence, it would be way better if you add circles there to hold nicely the rhythm here as you were doing it till now.
[ Normal Dusk] Well I did like this difficulty more because the flows and the overall transitions regarding how a note leads to the next one is really nice! Great job! Minor things:
  1. 00:04:948 (1) - 00:47:301 (1) - Add a whistle here to hold the instrument which comes out here.
  2. Some spacing errors that should be fixed since the Distance Snap should be consistent throughout the entire difficulty.
    ^
    1. 00:16:419 (1,2) -
    2. 00:20:390 (4,1) -
    3. 01:05:390 (3,1) -
  3. 00:30:537 (3) - 01:12:890 (3) - NC here to don't have such as a long combo numbers at this difficulty.
[ Advanced Evening] :O thanks for mapping Give your Heart a break! >w<
  1. Don't you think the AR is somehow high for the patterning used in this difficulty? I'm quite sure lowering to 6 will allow players to catch easier the 1/2 since some of them contains jumps and other not.
  2. Reduce the HP value to 5 to keep a balance in the way it scales up among the difficulties.
  3. 00:29:213 (3) - 01:11:566 (3) - Replace these with a circle as well as it was done at the previous patterns.
  4. 01:01:419 (2,1) - This flow can be improved since it plays somehow odd as is. What about making (2) less curved as 00:19:066 (2) - to improve the transition of this pattern? Try it!
[ Last Night] Not a bad diff! Just might need a bit of more improvement regarding where the emphasis should go and stuff. Let's start:
  1. First of all, it's really important to increase the values of the OD and the HP because they shouldn't be the same as the Advanced difficulty knowing this is the hardest difficulty of the set. Having them with OD 7 and HP 6 would be the best.
  2. 00:04:948 (1) - 00:47:301 (1) - Please add a whistle for these to hold nicely the instruments which come out at this spot.
  3. 00:12:890 (1,2,3) - Rhythmically talking, these are the strongest beats of the map but they have a very low DS which don't make sense at all. It would be better if the DS was higher to give the proper emphasis these beats should have. Consider doing the same with the similar patterns.
  4. 00:17:301 (2,3) - Minor but blanketing them would make this pattern prettier to read and play.
  5. 00:34:066 (1) - Remove NC here and add NC here 00:34:507 (3) - to give players the idea the piano tiles are stronger than the previous ones.
  6. 00:53:919 (2,3) - Distance Snap problem here. Make sure they're the same because due the high spacing, players tend to read (3) as a 1/1 beat apart.
  7. 01:00:978 (5) - Remove NC here and add NC here 01:02:301 (1) - to fill out the consistency about managing the New Combos.
  8. 01:00:978 (5) - Ctrl + G.
[]
Here I ended up my mod. I actually might need to recheck this after you apply the changes above since there are some few things I'd like to discuss with you regarding the spacing of the higher diff. It can be done at your earliest convenience. Contact me if you need further clarification with the points above stated. Good luck for now!

  • RULE:
When adding custom skin elements, you should add all the elements which belong to their skin nature:
  1. As it is shown here, reversearrow.png is included in the mapset. Hence, you should add the other elements of the make the slider in the folder. For further information, please read this thread. Another option is to remove it from the mapset to not doing the whole work. Up to you.Added all slider elements.
  2. Same goes to fail-background.jpg, which belongs to pause screen nature. In order to add all the elements, you should add the following elements listed in the below box:
    ^
    1. pause-overlay.pngAdded all pause menu elements.
    2. pause-back.png
    3. fail-background.png
    4. pause-continue.png
    5. pause-replay.png
    6. pause-retry.png
Thank you for your time. Everything has been fixed and uploaded.
Do I give you kudos for this? .-.

Hellow! Minor things since I'm quite sure this is almost ready regarding the mapping related things. However, I'd like to know some things before pushing this forward.K.

Done.
  2. The file fail-background.jpg must be png extension to make it work because as it is now it's not working. Referring to the nature of the pause screen, it's missing the custom pause-overlay.png to have it complete.Done.
  3. The size of the fail background and the current background should the same to prevent issues with weird overlaps between these two. Thus, having them both on 1366x768 would make more sense here. Here I provided some examples in the below box: Resized.
  4. The file approachcircle.png should be 126x126 to have it in its optimal size. Resized.
  5. Having the same vol of the kiai with the rest parts of the songs don't support well the main idea why we set up kiai over a song. It would make more sense if you raise up on 10% the lines which belong to kiai to give more emphasis to the notes comprehended by it.Done.
  6. 00:45:868 - Can I know the reason why this is set up until there? Like would it be another difference if you place it here 00:45:978 - or later? The main issuse here is that the blue layout doesn't follow anything in the song so it looks rather random at not making any correlation with the song. Just in case it does for you, keep them. Otherwise, remove them.
There's nothing there. Maybe you posted the wrong timestamp?
[ Simple Midday] Really nice Easy! What I can see is that the style is old somehow so the overlaps and the things in general go for that age, which isn't unrankable. Good job! Minor things to polish them a bit and we're ready to go. Let's see:Actually this is just my flat mapping style. Not outdated... But it does come off that way considering the spacing.
  1. 01:01:860 (1) - Remove NC here and add NC here 01:03:625 (2) . K.
  2. 01:03:625 (2) - Variation is important but here making a straight slider doesn't flow good because the song aims for more movement. I do believe using this shape 00:28:331 (1) - would make stuff more fun.Done.
  3. 01:24:801 (1) - Add a whistle at the slider-tail as well as you did in the higher difficulties.Coolio.
  4. Leaving these spots 00:12:890 - 00:55:243 - with no beats feels way awkward because clearly the song supports 1/1 beats there. Hence, it would be way better if you add circles there to hold nicely the rhythm here as you were doing it till now.Acutally, I want to maintain the 2/1 consistency. That note is lower than the rest of them. Just because a song supports a beat, doesn't mean there has to be one.
[ Normal Dusk] Well I did like this difficulty more because the flows and the overall transitions regarding how a note leads to the next one is really nice! Great job! Minor thingsCooool.:
  1. 00:04:948 (1) - 00:47:301 (1) - Add a whistle here to hold the instrument which comes out here.I can't add a whistle to the start of a slider.
  2. Some spacing errors that should be fixed since the Distance Snap should be consistent throughout the entire difficulty. Fixed all.
    ^
    1. 00:16:419 (1,2) -
    2. 00:20:390 (4,1) -
    3. 01:05:390 (3,1) -
  3. 00:30:537 (3) - 01:12:890 (3) - NC here to don't have such as a long combo numbers at this difficulty. This is a bit nitpicky. Ive seen way higher than 5 in normal. Changed nonetheless.
Let's start:Coolio.
  1. First of all, it's really important to increase the values of the OD and the HP because they shouldn't be the same as the Advanced difficulty knowing this is the hardest difficulty of the set. Having them with OD 7 and HP 6 would be the best.Done.
  2. 00:04:948 (1) - 00:47:301 (1) - Please add a whistle for these to hold nicely the instruments which come out at this spot.Start of a spinner cant handle samples.
  3. 00:12:890 (1,2,3) - Rhythmically talking, these are the strongest beats of the map but they have a very low DS which don't make sense at all It would be better if the DS was higher to give the proper emphasis these beats should have. Consider doing the same with the similar patterns..It was suggested by Bakari. I'll change it back to what I had.
  4. 00:17:301 (2,3) - Minor but blanketing them would make this pattern prettier to read and play.Done.
  5. 00:34:066 (1) - Remove NC here and add NC here 00:34:507 (3) - to give players the idea the piano tiles are stronger than the previous ones. It's the start of a new pattern. I'll emphasize that with a new NC. No change here sorry.
  6. 00:53:919 (2,3) - Distance Snap problem here. Make sure they're the same because due the high spacing, players tend to read (3) as a 1/1 beat apart.Oh shitsu I didnt even see that. Fixed fixed.
  7. 01:00:978 (5) - Remove NC here and add NC here 01:02:301 (1) - to fill out the consistency about managing the New Combos. There's no NC on the timestamp you provided.
  8. 01:00:978 (5) - Ctrl + G. Done.
[]
Here I ended up my mod. I actually might need to recheck this after you apply the changes above since there are some few things I'd like to discuss with you regarding the spacing of the higher diff. It can be done at your earliest convenience. Contact me if you need further clarification with the points above stated. Good luck for now!I fixed all of the spacing errors.
[]
Changed almost everything. Some NC sample things I kept the same, but those aren't major.

Thanks for the mod.

Recheck

Please remove the effect of layout break from the Normal difficulty to keep consistency how the break is handled over the other difficulties.

[Last Night]
00:12:890 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - What I meant here with the spacing was to increase it, not to use filler notes since they feel overmapped. /w\ What about placing them like this http://puu.sh/oUB6a/d42aaba50b.jpg to fix up the patterning? Consider doing the same over the similar parts.
Regarding emphasis, these notes 00:20:831 (4,1) - 00:27:890 (7,1) - 01:03:184 (3,1) - should use higher spacing to emphasize better the finish that arises here.

Good luck!
