How does mania pp work?

Like the title, how does mania pp work?
I think it's a mix of misses, acc, score and difficulty, but I don't know.
This is because of 2 scores of me
Forgot map etc
Play 1
Around 850000
94%
3 misses
Got 40 pp

Play 2
Around 870000
92% (almost all 300 were MAX)
5 misses
I got even more pp

What?
Lower acc, more misses, yet more pp
Someone please explain to me
also, feel free to post maps which give 'much' pp but are not too hard (3-3.6 stars) for 4K only

Also, how about auto-converts? Please explain as well
Why does 4K mod give so little pp?

Score is the main factor in the amount of pp a play gives in osu!mania.

Auto-converts give pp in the same way normal maps do, but usually they aren't very good for playing. Using 4K mod gives a pp penalty.

Score + Difficulty are the factors that determine the amount of pp you gain. However, the difficulty algorithm is not clearly defined for everyone to examine.
