- upload it
- reply in modding queues
- respond to and (possibly) apply advices people sent to you
- eventually you will get 5 hypes after sending enough such replies
- send nom requests to nominators (check status here)
- wait until two BNs become interested
- respond to and (possibly) apply advices BNs sent to you
- BNs nominate your map, your map is qualified. you win!

I guess it makes sense now that I look at it that way. I'm just too anxious to ask a BN to take a look at my maps. Maybe I'll try getting a map ranked for once. Every time i feel like mapping i just map half way and never touch that map againMcEndu wrote:

I created this map and it is in Graveyard status now. It's fully mapped. The hitsounds are still remaining because it doesn't sound polished. I should try these steps in the future when I want this map to be ranked. One difficulty isn't enough right? Maybe I should create a new difficulty. I don't really know.
I also created this map as well. This one is my favourite because of the music. This one needs a lot of work in order to complete the core mapping part.

Even with 1 ranked beatmap and 4 ranked gds i have, i can still get 2 bns without any problems, because connections.
when your map contains a factor that may be ever so slightly risky to do:

if you spend months or even years getting feedback on and improving a single map without it getting accepted by bns, you should probably give up on the set and map something else instead (aka go back to step 1).Serraionga wrote:
