I don't think there's any game that has been announced for 2025 that I'm interested in so far.

- Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (20 February):
I have been loving this franchise for quite a while. Pretty excited for more wacky stuff RGG gonna put in the game, especially with Majima being the main character of this entry with pirates theme weirdly enough fitting for his character and probably gonna smack other pirates games in the market. - Project: Century (also by RGG Studio):
I don't know if this is the final name of the game but I'm assuming it's not. Set in the 1915. There hasn't been much information given about this project. People speculated it's either going to be released on 2025 or 2026, but I'm leaning more with the 2025 based on RGG statement about having another big project that would be released the same year as Pirate Yakuza. Though it might also 'the other game' by RGG that gonna be released. - Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O (27 January):
Also by RGG, they've been going crazy for next years. This is a(nother) remake of Virtua Fighter 5(2006). It contains gameplay balance, rollback, and most importantly Steam release (this is their first time). Though I don't think I would buy it because a new entry to this series also been announced (which is what 'the other game' that I referred) - Sid Meier's Civilization 7 (12 February):
I have been playing a lot of Sid Meier's Civilization 6 recently. It's a really long game for just one session but it's really fun because the depth it has. It's gonna have major changes in gameplay, so much it's referred as 'Modern Civilization'.
There are more 2025 releases that I know like Ghost of Yotei, a new Doom game, and Death Stranding 2. But the four I mentioned above are the ones I'm really hyped.

Dynasty Warriors Origins is pretty cool.
I remember first playing Dynasty Warriors 4 from a PS2 demo disc (Zhao Yun on Chengu Du)! It became my favorite series for a while and I played a lot of DW 3-6, along with SW 1-2 and was big-into WO3.Karmine wrote:

so far origins is the only big release, the only other 2025 game I can name is beyond citadel but uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah maybe the less you know about doekuramori the betterEspionage724 wrote:

I am excited for GTA 6, but it's a shame it will be so expensive...
I'm hearing that Treyarch is making a Black Ops 2 sequel, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it will have Ricocrap AI to spy on all users, and the game will be stupidly expensive. This is why I'd rather play older games like the original Black Ops 2, World at War, potentially something like Ghosts or even Black Ops IIII.

I had fun with MW2 on Xbox 360, and shooting on newer CoDs felt ok on PC; I'm not too interested in CoD but might buy a newer Modern Warfare one if I was bored (I felt Black Ops 1 focused on older guns/areas). FFA or Gungame ftw!

Played citizen sleeper 2 as my first 2025 game, it was great, better than the first part, it removed part of my lifespan due to how stressful the game can get tho.
Rift of the NecroDancer - A mania style gameplay with 3 lanes but really complex types of notes. Looks pretty fun.
