after more than 200h spend in both Geometry Dash and osu!, i can objectively say that GD is literally funnier and cooler than this circle game

idk pretty different games all-around
at least, when you develop your muscle memory for GD, every other levels feel more easier and funnier, compared to osu! where you have to play regularly in order to not be rusty. i'm the type of person who hates doing something everyday so this is why i'm more in favor with one game instead of the otherNanofranne wrote:
Idk. I tried GD before but I didn't like how the core experience of it is to try over and over again until you memorise every little detail. And also how it punished me for slightest mistake for tapping to early/late or not tapping for death and start all over again. For me, I like osu better because alongside of consistency, I still can sightread and play more of less equally the same

As etienne said, gd is not a rythm game, gd is a rythm based platformer
it doesn't mater if it is rhythm game or not, at the end of the day, it's just a tag on steam, what matters is if the game is fur or notReyalp51 wrote:

It doesnt mater but i mention it cuz we are comparing different things. I would say gd is a better game if you are looking for something more casual. I dont really like playing insane-extreme demons but that may just be a skill issue on my part, i beat 9 circles thoPatatitta wrote:

The reaction they have on beating a new hardest level are relatively the same as reactions i have when i get a new pp play or beat my hardest map. (if you didnt know, im going based of reactions here) sooooo both games are fine. you cant really compare them sense there both different concepts, its like comparing apples and oranges they are barley the same.
Imo i think gd might be better as it dosent require a good pc to play most of the levels. with two major updates to osu! and gd (being 2.2 and osu!lazer getting pp) the play count has skyrocketed on both games. but yea gd has wayyyy more features so yea gd better bye
kids actually make the game sillier lolYmir wrote:
In terms of a game, it's alright. I don't know about funnier though, GD players tend to post the unfunniest shit even by OT standards. To be fair, it's a kids game so it might be expected.
you talk like a philosopher it's so interesting XDDDSDx wrote:
10 years ago that was amazing on mobile. World version was boring. Playing it at PC so… Only one button to click?
Funny? It contains music and scripted clicks to pass, sound similar… Every human being can make wow effect to little child with passing any level with 1 attempt. Too old for it?
